A Father's Love

This is written in memory of my Grandpa Joe and how he would treat me as a baby, along with other memories of the grandfathers in my life (one of which has been a Father figure to me since I was little). I think with all that's going on in the world right now, we need this very adorable fluff piece.

6. Perry's Birthday

Kassi had been up with Della, helping with her little brother as Della smiled at the scene before her.

Kassi feeding her baby brother as Charlie cooed gently as Kassi hummed softly.

Both parents were beyond happy seeing how Kassi truly stepped up when Charlie was first brought home.

Della had taken Charlie and began to rock him back to sleep as Kassi snuck up to wake her Daddy up as she smiled when she opened the door.

Perry was slowly waking up when he heard the gentle opening of the door as he sighed, hoping it was Della but was pleasantly surprised when he heard the cutest little roar from Kassi as she pounced on him with a giggle,

"Good morning, Daddy. Happy Birthday!"

Perry laughed as he was greeted by his daughter as he hugged her tightly,

"Good morning, Kassi. Thank you."

Della looked up as she heard Kassi's signature laughter from the master bedroom as she smiled, it was about time for Perry to wake up anyways as she walked to the door as she smiled sweetly,

Oh, how precious.

Della smiled and she adjusted baby Charlie as she climbed back into bed as the family snuggled for a few hours before beginning the wonderous day of Perry's birthday.
