A/N: YO, LEVI! So we're back, back again. More pokkopikku and looking forward to more relationship development this one. Let's take a gander!
Porco gently awoke on the couch. His eyes slowly widened. He was in a foreign place. The soft furniture cradled him as he slept. He turned onto his side, attempting to get more sleep. That's when it hit him. What had just happened, and where he was. Porco shot up, standing a little too quickly.
"Oi oi oi, don't pass out on me, Pock." Pieck was laying on the other couch in her living room. The raven-haired woman turned her body so her feet touched the ground, her elbows on her knees. "We've got a festival to attend. You owe me dinner." Pieck stood up slowly, stretching out her arms and back above her head, grunting quietly.
"I owe you? For what?" Porco walked over to her, embracing her in his arms. There was a slight height difference, as Porco was about 7 inches (20 cm) taller than Pieck. He rested his head atop hers, feeling her breath on his pectoral muscles. He was still shirtless and only had some undergarments on.
"For covering for you. Reiner swung by while you were still out of it. He said they were looking for you at the festival. And I cleaned you up. You're welcome." Pieck squeezed Porco in her arms as he followed suit.
"Isn't me just being here good enough?" Porco made them laugh. The pair enjoyed the embrace while it lasted, and then released each other. They opened the door, checking to make sure the coast was clear for them. It was. They walked out of the large hotel where they stayed, and began to walk to the festival.
As Pieck and Porco strolled out of the parlor, they walked into the festive marketplace. Vendors, consumers and tourists gathered here, only once every few years. It lasted for a little more than a week, but more often than not people got wasted on the first few days. The duo walked past a few enticing restaurants, but decided on a fancy and outdoor diner. "You hungry, Pock?" Pieck teased as they entered.
"Hai, very much so." Porco pressed a hand onto his stomach as it grumbled. He hadn't eaten since the day before. Unlike other titan shifters, he was slightly anorexic. He sat down, and ordered a small steak for himself, while Pieck ordered a whole rack of ribs. Among the shifters, the cart was infamous for its hunger. Constantly hungry, constantly eating. An incredibly high metabolism accompanied the cart titan's abilities.
Pieck received her ribs and devoured them. She ate very gauche, though the festival gatherers paid her no attention. Porco played with his food as he sat there, admiring Pieck's entrancing eyes. Pieck looked up at him, "Pock. Put the food in your mouth. Now." Pieck reached across the table and impaled a section of steak on her fork, and brought it up to Porco's mouth. He accepted it. It was perfectly cooked, a solid well-done steak, and well seasoned. Porco took small bites as Pieck finished her meal.
"Galliard!" Porco heard his name called by a low voice. The voice of Reiner. Porco turned to greet the Vice Chief. "Porco!" Reiner briskly walked over to the table, greeting Pieck as he stood there.
"What's up, Reiner?" Porco stood to greet the Vice-Chief. "Is there something you need?"
"No, I just need to talk to you. Come over here." Reiner turned to Pieck. "Mind if I borrow him for a second?"
Pieck chuckled. "Not a problem."
The pair walked over to the corner of the diner area, the outdoor breeze gently brushing their hair as Reiner leaned against the railing. Porco stood, arms crossed, looking opposite Reiner. "What did you want, Reiner?" Porco questioned.
"You maniac." Reiner had a beaming smile on his face.
"What?"
Reiner looked at him. "So you really were out of it. I stopped by Pieck's apartment earlier while looking for you, and from the door I saw you on the couch with a towel over some of you." The Vice-Chief smirked. "You pulled it off, didn't you?"
Porco blushed. "I-" Porco stuttered. "I- uh, yeah. I guess. I was just hanging out in her apartment and she got on top of me and then I got up to go to the bathroom and accidentally tripped and hurt my balls and then she went for it." Porco stuttered through his sentence, his flustered speech akin to that of a elementary learner.
Reiner laughed. "Well done, Porco." The blonde held up his hand, and they embraced, patting one another's backs. They broke the embrace and Porco returned to his seat, to find Pieck had eaten her whole rack of ribs and he had barely touched his steak.
"We can go, if you're done." Porco took a sip of water before beginning to stand up. Pieck glared at him.
"No. Sit down." Porco followed her instructions. He liked it when she took control. "Finish your meal, Pock. You need to eat. I don't care if you are not hungry." Porco picked up his utensils and finished off his steak. Pieck was caring, but she had had enough of his eating habits and was going for a 'tough love' type beat. Upon finishing, Pieck stood up first, and went to pay for the food. However, upon the pairing reaching the counter, they found Reiner there, paying for them. Reiner was well-off. His mission to Paradis had left him with enough money to provide for several generations of his family, and they would forever be Honorary Marlyeans, just like the Galliards. Reiner joined in with the group, and they trio of friends waltzed gracefully down the festival lane. They found a peculiar treat at one of the stands. A substance that was as light as air, yet as flavorful and colorful as ice cream. It was called 'cotton candy'. Porco suggested they buy some for the four Warrior candidates.
"And are you going to pay for that, Pock?" Pieck elbowed him.
"I mean, s-"
Reiner sighed. "I got it." He bought a few containers, enough for everyone. They turned.
"Speak of the devil, and he shall appear!" Porco chuckled to himself as Udo, Zofia, Gabi, and Falco all came around the corner, running to Reiner.
"LAINAH!" Gabi ran towards him, running and embracing around his legs. He was nearly triple her height, and probably double her weight. "What are you holding?"
"For you four." Reiner handed over the goods, and the children began to rip and tear away at the contents. Pieck laughed as she stole some of Porco's.
Reiner turned to the pair. "You guys can go back if you don't want to be out right now. Good to see you, Porco. And you, Pieck."
The group made their goodbyes as they left the warriors under the care of Reiner and Colt. They were under good care.
Porco opened the door for Pieck as they arrived back at the hotel, and he walked up the stairs.
"Hey, Pock, mind if I shower at your place? Mine's not working well." Pieck trailed him up the final flight of stairs.
"Sure, that's fine." Porco had a feeling that her shower was working fine, and something else was the reason for being alone together, in his house, in the shower.
But he had no idea what was about to happen.
