Harrison's POV

After a good night's rest in his room Harrison was up bright and early. First thing he did was write a letter to his aunt telling her about the sorting. She would want to hear all about it. Then he penned another to his godfather. Lucius would be happy to hear he was not a bullheaded Gryffindor.

Once the letters were complete he made his way to the common room. It wasn't surprising to find several other Ravenclaws awake and reading in the room. A few raised a hand in greeting but one closest to the fire watched him with cold eyes.

Harrison suspected there would be trouble with that one. It made him glad he learned from Master Tarloc and his godfather. Even the most basic of spells could protect one if someone decided to fight him. Then there was his alchemy. Untraceable within the school as it didn't require magic.

Breakfast was a simple affair. Harrison ignored the others around him. Too many people gawked at him because of his fame. It wasn't as if he asked for his parents to be killed protecting him. They should just treat him as a regular person.

Fillus Flitwick came around with their schedules. The first thing he noticed was that their classes were mixed with other houses. For the most part he shared classes with Hufflepuffs but History of Magic, and Astronomy would be with Slytherins. At least he would get to see Draco during that time. Unfortunately he had Defense Against the Dark Arts with Gryffindors. That wasn't going to be fun.

Halfway through breakfast joined him and they exchanged schedules. Draco's made Harrison wince in compassion. Slytherins had almost all of their classes with Gryffindor. That was just asking for trouble if what his godfather said was true.

"Draco, how did you come to find such a well-trained pet?" The girl who spoke reminded Harry of a pig her scrunched up nose and beady eyes.

She was trying to pick up where she left off on the train. Other students around the Hall were watching them with interest. They wanted to see what exactly Harrison and Draco would say.

"Shut up Pansy. Harrison is a friend, not a pet." Draco sneered at the girl. Harrison gave a chuckle at the likeness Draco had to his father while doing that.

"Find something funny mutt?" Pansy tried glaring but it came off as a constipated look. Not very attractive at all.

"First of all I am not a mutt, I am a pureblood. Second I can do anything I wish." Harry turned his eyes down the professors were watching them carefully.

Suddenly loud shrieks erupted from the Gryffindor table. Everyone turned to see a group of first years, including one Ronald Weasley, covered in boils that popped, covering their skin with green goo. The twins grinned and high fived each other over Neville Longbottom's head.

Pranksters huh? Those two might be worth getting to know. If only to stop himself from becoming a victim of their pranks.

His first class of the day was Defense Against the Dark Arts with Gryffindors. That was going to end badly he just knew it. However he walked to the class following the prefects who were going to show them the way to classes for their first couple of days.

The class started and Harry was intrigued by the professor. Professor Quirrell stuttered most of the class but when a student asked an interesting question his voice smoothed out and the stutter faded.

None of the other students took notice of it but Harry also saw how during these times, Quirrell's eyes changed from dark brown to a deep red wine. Harry also took note that when these times happened he felt a small prickle from behind his scar like at the opening feast.

One good thing was that because it was a theory orientated class no of the Gryffindors could cause him problems. As much as they would like to if the glare that Ronald Weasley was giving him was any indication. The class ended without much problems and it wasn't long before Harry was back in the library trying to find a reason for his scar to be hurting.

After earning 15 points in DADA next was Transfiguration which he was early for. In fact most of their class was except for two unfortunate Hufflepuffs. The first thing Harrison had noticed was the cat sitting on the professor's desk. Something about that cat seemed off so he kept his eye on it.

The first Hufflepuff, Smith? maybe he wasn't sure said, 'Whew, we made it. Can you imagine the look on McGonagall's face if we were late?"

The cat then proceeded to jump off the desk and transforms into Professor McGonagall. The two boys along with the rest of the class were amazed.

Smith breathed, "That was bloody brilliant.

McGonagall replied sternly, "Thank you for that assessment, Mr. Smith. Perhaps if I were to transfigure Mr. Fletchly and yourself into a pocketwatch, that way one of you might be on time."

Justin replied meekly, "We got lost."

McGonagall without a hint of compassion, "Then perhaps a map? I trust you don't need one to find your seats."

Both boys scurried off to their seats. Their faces were flushed red from embarrassment. Harrison couldn't blame them for that. The professor could have been a little nicer. It was only the first day after all. It was common for students to get turned around on the first day.

Still the class was interesting even if it was only learning about turning a match into a needle. Harrison was the first to succeed after taking up 3/4s of the class to figure it out. But when he did he earned Ravenclaw 10 points.
