So I've fallen into a deep obsession with the mauraders. As such I needed to write atyd fanfanfiction. For the past several years, this meme has surfaced in my life several times, and every time it is simply the funniest thing i've ever seen. "In the boys dorm, things could get a little untidy. If one of their girlfriends had been spending a lot of time up there, usually there would be some sense of decorum. But around exams, or if a prank was heavy in the planning stage, there was nothing that could help the habits of 4 teenage boys. Sometimes things happen.

Remus and Sirius had stayed up pretty late and they were trying to be quiet behind a silencing charm. But when remus crawled out of bed to go to the washroom, opening the curtain broke the spell. In haste to get some shut eye he left the toilet seat up.

"With the light being turned on and the flush of the toilet James woke up at 2am this morning. It finally happened, it's actually surprising that it hadn't happened before because his hair was everywhere and who knows where he's glasses were tangled up in. As he fell, before the splash, james threw up his hands to try to catch himself. Knocking the can of mousse Sirius had left there and the toothpaste tube the boys jointly shared and with a crash james yelled "who is in here".

Sirius and Remus jumped out of bed and ran over to the bathroom, pushing the door open to see where james had just left it open a crack and the light was flooding out. They laughed so hard they woke up peter who was not impressed and just gave james a glare when he finally saw the mostly naked boy. " So so cold. Thought I was being attacked." James screamed jumping up from the toilet, trying to explain himself. "I was still asleep. I can't believe I survived."

Peter brushed past the other boys to offer james a towel now as Sirius and remus were convulsing from laughter on the floor.

"My knees hit my chest. Folded like a lawn chair. Scariest moment of 1976. I've never known terror like that. My life flashed before my eyes. To all the women in my life, past and present, I apologize. .. Especially my grandma" James was just rambling now, from the shock of it all.

It took everyone an hour to get the adrenaline out of their system and back to sleep and they all would have skipped breakfast the next day except that remus is physically incapable of missing breakfast and he made everyone get up./p
