The Royal Woods stadium was filled with raving rock fans. Their screams and cheers almost drowned the band onstage. Among the crowd, two teenage girls were rocking out to the music: A brunette in a purple top with a skull, and a blonde with a turquoise hair streak wearing a cyan jacket. Banging their heads, they shouted from the top of their lungs, one hand raised towards the ceiling, the other wrapped around each other's waist.

"WOOOHOO!" Pumping her fist into the air, Luna jumped on the spot. "These guys ROCK!"

Arm around her hopping girlfriend, Sam winked at her. "See? Told'cha they're awesome!"

"Should've never doubted ya!" Grinning, Luna planted a kiss on Sam's cheek. "Though any band's awesome with you around."

The two girls laughed. Cuddling each other, they cheered alongside the hundreds of other fans around them. As if to play over them the band played louder, harder, more aggressive. The intense melody drilled itself into Luna's head. All noise around her began to fade as she closed her eyes. Without realizing it, she let go of Sam. Her head banging to the beat her hips followed suit, swaying in rhythmic circles, while she moved her arms and legs as much as the crowded space would allow them to. The more she danced the more ecstatic became her moves, matching the wild style of the music.

Lost in trance, it took a moment before Luna noticed Sam again. The blonde had quietly watched her, with a look on her face Luna couldn't quite read – it wasn't sad, mad or anything she could put her finger on. Still, the way Sam looked at her made Luna freeze on the spot. "Oh, right… you um, you said dancing wasn't your thing." Blushing a bit, Luna scratched her head. "S-sorry."

"It's okay, it's okay!" Immediately Sam put up her hands, a big fake smile on her face. "You don't need to stop just because of me."

"No, no, it's cool" Luna said, also forcing a smile. "Don't need to move my feet to enjoy the beat."

An eyebrow raised, Sam looked down. Following her, Luna realized she was still tapping her feet. Quickly she crossed her legs, smiling sheepishly at Sam.

Stemming her hands into her hips, Sam sighed. "Just dance, okay?" she insisted. "Spoiling your fun is the last thing I want to do on our date."

Luna rubber her shoulder, eyes on the ground. "You… you sure it's okay for you?"

Gently, Sam pushed Luna's chin up with two fingers. The brunette blushed as her girlfriend winked at her. "Go wild, tiger."

Seeing the warm, honest smile on Sam's face, a knot loosened in Luna's stomach. "Thanks." She gave Sam another smooch on the cheek before turning to the stage. She was about to dance again, then paused. "You sure you don't wanna give it a try?" she asked. Though she tried to be casual about it, it was hard to miss the excitement in her voice.

Sam bit her lip. Staring at her feet, she tried moving to the rhythm. But after a few steps she got out of sync. She tried to move the rest of her body, which ended up making her even shakier. Eventually, Luna had to hold her so she wouldn't fall. "S-sorry, Lunes" Sam whispered as Luna helped her catch balance. "But I'll just end up tripping over my own feet. Or… someone else's."

Ever so slightly, Luna slouched her shoulders. "No problem. You don't have to dance if you don't want to. Just… do your own thing."

The ear-deafening music and screaming fans around them, there was an odd silence between the two girls. Eventually, Luna took a step back from Sam, trying to give herself some room within the crowd. At first, she held back, juts swaying her hips a bit and dancing on the spot. But soon, she shook and twisted her body more and more wildly, bumping into people around her without care, most of which didn't even notice as they were equally lost in the music.

Sam watched her in silence. The wild, yet elegant beauty of her moves mesmerized the young blonde. Then, she took a look around her. There were hundreds of people in the stadium, but all Sam saw were dancing couples. Some went wild like Luna, moving to the aggressive beat. Others were so lost on cloud nine, they slow-waltzed to shredding guitar and drum solos. But no matter how they danced, they all seemed so close to each other…

Sam's gaze continued to wander around the stadium, until ending up at Luna again. In the middle of headbanging and hip-shaking, Luna's eyes met Sam's. It was only a short glance before both turned away with a blush. Still, it was enough for Sam to catch a sad glimmer in Luna's eyes.

A weird feeling in her stomach, Sam stared at the ground. Then, someone took her hand. Having returned to her side, Luna smiled at her, and Sam smiled back. Cuddling each other, they shouted and cheered as the band went into the final encore. But while Sam shouted the air out of her lungs, she couldn't get the look in Luna's eyes out of her mind.
