It has been a few hours since Heather's elimination, and pretty much everyone is asleep. All, but Courtney who is unable to sleep because of the events right before to the elimination ceremony. Courtney is just lying in bed.
Courtney (in her mind): "Since the elimination ceremony, I have been unable to stop thinking about what Gwen said to me. Before the elimination ceremony started, she told me she broke up with Duncan and would not pick boys over friends again. I didn't have much time to process that since the elimination ceremony was coming up, but I haven't stopped thinking about what she said since the ceremony.
"Not only that, but what she has done throughout the season. Countless times she has tried to make things right with me. It started when she apologized to me and tried to give me flowers at the first elimination ceremony."
Flashback-
Gwen walks up to Courtney in the first elimination ceremony.
Gwen: "I know I didn't do anything wrong, but I'm sorry for how the whole Duncan thing went down." She then smiles in excitement. "Here, I got these for you." As she holds out flowers.
Courtney: "Achoo."
Gwen becomes upset.
Gwen: "Oh no, you're allergic."
Courtney becomes angry.
Courtney: "I told you you were a villain.
Back to the present.
Her second attempt was trying to congratulate me when the Heroic Hamsters won the second challenge.
Flashback-
Gwen: "Hi Courtney."
Courtney glares, as Gwen starts to walk up to her.
Gwen: "I just wanted to congratulate you
Suddenly, a trash bag flies up and then falls towards Gwen. Gwen deflects by smacking it with her shovel, but all the garbage lands on Courtney.
Courtney: "Uh uh."
Courtney walks away angrily, while Gwen tries to follow her and explain herself.
Gwen: "That was an accident. I didn't mean to." Gwen pleads.
Back to the present.
Courtney: "Her third attempt was trying to welcome be to the Villains team, after I was switched.
Flashback-
Gwen stands up and smiles at Courtney.
Gwen: "Welcome to the team."
She then accidently kicks a bucket of leeches onto Courtney.
Courtney: 'Ahhh!"
Gwen becomes horrified.
Gwen: "I swear I didn't know those were there.
Back to the present.
Courtney: "Prior to the food challenge, I overheard her crying in a confessional over not being able to make things better with me."
Flashback
Confessional
Gwen: "This is the worst. I only came back to Total Drama to make things better with Courtney, but she hates me more than ever."
She then starts crying. Courtney, who was standing outside the confessional overheard everything.
Confessional
Courtney: "She came back for me? "She asks confused. "Yea, right, she probably knew I was standing out there." She says angrily. "But how?" She asks confused.
Back to the present.
On one hand, I didn't believe her, but on the other hand I really wondered if she was being serious. After that, our relationship began to get better. We did have that laugh about Heather in the 5th challenge, but after realizing what I was doing, I immediately got mad. While our relationship was improving, I didn't want to admit that.
Lastly is what she said to be right before this elimination ceremony.
Flashback-
While heading to the elimination ceremony, Gwen pulls Courtney into a bush.
Courtney: "Hey, uhh!" She pouts
Gwen: "Quiet, look I ended it with Duncan and I'm done putting boys ahead of friends. Tell me how to vote and I'll do it. I swear."
She offers Courtney her hand. After momentarily thinking, Courtney shakes her hand and whispers in her ear.
Back to the present.
Courtney: "Gwen really is sorry and she really has been trying to make things right with me. It just so happened that her initial attempts back fired. Should I forgive her? She seems to have proven that she feels bad and wants to make things right. I actually think I can trust her again. Also, our relationship has improved. I am contemplating. I don't want her to betray me again, but at the same time, I don't think she will. I am going back and forth. You know what? I think I need to sleep on this. I will decide tomorrow.
Courtney then falls asleep.
