"The whole room is frozen..." Alice said

"Winter came in early." Sonic said

"What the..."

"What is it?"

"The Blue Rose Sword, Eugeo..." Kirito said

"You mean to say... Eugeo is responsible for this?" Alice said

"Yeah, he must have been. This is his Perfect Weapon Control Art. I didn't realize he was capable of this..." Kirito said

"He's learning fast." Sonic said

"Ah!"

"Ah!"

"Ah!"

"Sir!"

"A few hours earlier..."

Eugeo charges up his Blue Rose Sword, ready to attack.

"Enhance... Armament!"

Eugeo slams his sword on the ground as a wall of ice heads towards its opponent. Eugeo also follows the wall of ice towards his opponent. His opponent slashes his sword towards the ice, stopping it and breaking it before it hit him.

"Not if I have any say in it!"

"Yaaahh!"

Euego and his opponent clang swords, but Eugeo was using a decoy as the sword breaks to his opponent's surprise.

"What's this? You're using this instead of a sword?!"

"Hyaaah!"

Eugeo lunges at his opponents as he grabs him, and both fall into the water. Soon after, Eugeo raises his arm as his Blue Rose Sword falls from the ground and holds it.

"Freeze... Freeze, damn you! Release... Recollection!"

Eugeo slams his sword as the whole room turns into ice.

"Nnnnnngh!

Eugeo's opponent uses his strength as he attempts to break free from being truck inside the ice, but Eugeo isn't going to let him out.

"Blue Roses... Bloom!"

Moments later, roses bloomed around the two, making the ice harder and unbreakable to escape.

"Life-absorbing roses..."

*Present*

"Sirt! Commander! What's happened to you?!" Alice shock

"This isn't... Eugeo's Art..." Kirito said

"It's too different to what we have seen Eugeo do before," Sonic said

"Then it's as I thought. I heard once from the Commander... The Prime Senator has the Authority to turn anyone into stone. Even a Knight. I believe the art was called... "Deep Freeze," Alice said

"Deep Freeze? So it was one of your own who did this to the commander? But why? You'd think he'd be an important force to stop intruders."

"The commander had some doubts about the orders we received from the Senators. But he believed as I head, that there could be no peace without the Church. He fought endlessly for that cause. Whatever authority the Prime Senator has, the commander did not deserve this!"

"Ah!"

"Sir! What are you doing?!"

"Is he trying to break out of Deep Freeze?" Kirito said

"Don't push yourself!" Sonic said

"Sir... Stop! Please stop! Your body will shatter to pieces!"

The Commander breaks free from the ice.

"Hey now, little one. I hate to see you cry like that."

"Sir."

"But I see... little one... You finally broke through that wall... The Seal of the Right Eye... that I couldn't break... in three centuries..."

"Sir, I... I..."

*The Morning Start Lookout, Floor 95*

"Oh no... Minions!

"Damn it! Sonic, can you do your tornado skill again?" Kirito said

"You know me too well." Sonic said

Sonic charges at the Gargoyle Minions as they are heading towards Sonic. Sonic soon begins to spin like a tornado as he begins to form a tornado. The minions were sucked into the tornado as they were being blown around in circles from the tornado's speed. Moments later, the tornado exploded as the minions were knocked away from each other and the walls of the room. Soon after, Kirito and Alice charge at the Minions. Alice charges at the first Minion as she charges up her sword and releases beams of flowers towards the minion. The minion attempts to block the attack, but the flowers fly behind it and attack it from the back, sending the Minion towards the ground hard. Kirito performs a five-hit sword attack on the minion he was fighting as well. His attack left scratch marks on the Minion's stomach. The Gargoyle minion slashes his claws at Kirito, but Kitio blocks the attack and counters it by performing a Sonic Leap attack, sending it flying towards the wall. Sonic charges up his sword as he raises his sword in the air as the blade of Excalibur extends and glows more now. Soon after, Sonic unleashes a superpowerful slash at the Gargoyle. Ripping its wings from it and sending it off the Church and plummeting down to its death. Kirito charges his sword and kicks the minion's face, and performs a powerful vertical slash on the minion.

"Phew. We did it. Let's keep going." Kirito said

"We climbed back up the tower to the 96th floor. This floor, the Senate, was full of boxes containing quasi-human figures. Just as Cardinal said, these Senators watched for anyone breaking Taboos. Guide In the Sacred Arts, they were stripped of emotion and will. Alice was furious at the Administrator's curtly, but we searched for stairs."

"..."

'What is it, Alice?"

"Yooou... You would betray us?! You worthless excuse for a knight! You damned Integrity Knights! You're just puppets, to do as I command! How dare you betray her, our great Pontifex?! My Administrator!" Chudelkin angry

"The Pontifex made us into puppets, selling our memories with the Synthesis Ritual. She forced her sense of justice onto us and told us we'd been summoned here." Alice said

"Wha... How do you know..."

"But even sealed, those memories remain, if faintly. I remembered the Senate, and a young girl, terrified and bound in the center. Over three days and nights, the Senate forced me through my mental boundaries."

"You're right. The Synthesis Ritual. A nobody from nowhere, you studied here for two years as a Sister. You were always a troublemaker, sneaking out to see the summer fair and such. But you studied hard because you believed you'd eventually get to go home. But of course, that was never going to happen! Once your Sacred Arts were refined enough, it was time for forced Synthesis! When you heard you could never go home again, oh, how you cried... That face... I wished I could turn you to stone right there and keep you as a work of art!"

"You said something odd just now. Forced synthesis? Are you implying there's a form of synthesis that's NOT forced?" Alice said

"Hohoh, eve the astute one. Yes, you're quite correct! Six years ago, you absolutely refused to recite the secret synthesis spell words. So we stopped the Senate's automatic work to break down your precious walls. We broke you down by force! Thanks to you, I got to witness something quite rare! You wanted after the first step of the process, and... why should I hide it? It was I who carried you to the Pontifex! Sadly she wouldn't let me see the rest. When the ceremony was finished and you awoke as an Integrity Knight, you truly believed you'd been called as a divine servant! Just like the others! Every time I heard you Knights talk about the Heavens, I nearly died laughing!" CHudelkin said

"Prime Seantor Chudelkin. Perhaps you're another victim like us. Yot whole life made into a tool. But even if that's the case, you certainly seem to enjoy it. So I'm sure you have no regrets. And I've grown sick of listening to you." Alice said

Seconds later, Chudlkin tourns into a giant ball.

"Wha..."

"Huh?!"

"Wow. Never seen anyone like that before." Sonic said

"Chudelkin?!"

"Hooheee! Hooheeeeheeheehee! Spell words aren't the only form of Art! Chase me if you like, you utter fool! Next time I'll teach you all about it! Hohhh hohohhhhhh!"

*The Senate Floor 99*

"This room... I know this room. This is where I woke six years ago as a new Integrity Knight. Yes, lets."

As the three walked, they noticed someone standing across them wearing armour like the other Integrity Knights.

"Great. More of you guys. At this point, you should all just walk back and let us finish what we came here." Sonic said

"Were there any Integrity Knights left?" Kirito said

"That armour sure looks like... Wait..."

"Eugeo..."

"No..."

"No... it's too soon."

"Too soon for what?"

"For the ceremony to have ended already. Your friend... Eugeo... he's already synthesized." Alice said

"H-How it be could?" Sonic said

"No... He can't be. You said it took three days and three nigh for you." Kirito said

"The prime Senator said that's because I refused to recite the spell words. If I'd said them, the ceremony wouldn't have been necessary... But... It's still too soon. it's only hours since Eugeo fought the commander." Alice said

"That's right. It's not possible. Eugeo wouldn't go easily. This must be a trick!" Kirito said

"This is not the Eugeo I know. By now, he would've been happy to see us." Sonic said

"Pull yourself together! You won't be able to save him if you can't stay calm!" Alice said

"Save... him?"

"Eugeo... Do you who we are? I'm Kirito... and this is Sonic... your friend. We've been together for two years, ever since we left Rulid." Kirito said

"For bringing me my sword." Eugeo said

The Blue Rose Sword Kirito was holding flies toward's EUgeo and grab's it.

"Incarnate Arms!" Alice said

"What do you plan to do with that sword?" Kirito said

"Fight you. Because that's what she wants." Eugeo said

"Because she said so huh? Why not her come to us if she desperately wants us gone?" Sonic said

"Are you really going to fight without knowing why? Based on orders alone? We're not your enemies. You came here to rescue your dear childhood friend..." Kirito said

"Those reasons no longer matter. She'll give me what I want. That's enough for me."

Kirito takes' out his sword while Sonic takes out Excalibur as well.

"Forget her orders. Memories are more important than orders." Sonic said

"What you want? Is that something more important than Alice?"

"I don't know, and I don't want to know. not you, or anyone else. I hate you. I hate everything. All of it."

"Eugeo... you may not remember, but we taught you how to fight. We don't plan to lose to you yet." Kirito said

"We won't be going easy on you this," Sonic said

"..."

Seconds later, Eugeo slams his sword on the ground as he freezes Kirito and Sonic. Moments later, the two break free as Sonic charges Eugeo. Sonic begins slashing at Eugeo but blocks his attacks. As he is attacking, Kirito charges his sword at Eugeo and unleashes powerful slashes at Eugeo. Eugeo blocks Kirito's attacks as well. Soon after, Eugeo charges up his Blue Rose Sword as he counters back and attacks Kirito and Sonic. Sonic charges up Excalibur as it extends its blade and glows more, and begins to unleash powerful slashes at Eugeo. Eugeo blocks the powerful attacks from Sonic but is being pushed back from the force of the incisions.

"How long have we been fighting? Will this battle ever end?"

"Eugeo... You really are strong. I always knew you'd surpass me someday."

"Flattery won't win you any reprieves. Let's end this."

Eugeo charges at Kriito and Sonic to finish the fight and slashes at them, but not before Alice gets in between them ad block's the attack.

"Whoa!"

"Alice?"

"Why are you interfering?!"

Alice pushes Eugeo back with a slash.

"You idiot. Don't get involved! You and Eugeo were childhood friends in Rulid! I can't let you fight." Kirito said

"So we should assume Eugeo has his memory of this "Alice"?" Alice said

"Yeah. The Pontifex would have taken his most precious memories during synthesis." Kirito said

"But seeing,e doesn't seem to faze him."

"Then what memories did she steal from him?" Kirito said

"Let's figure that out together. Perhaps just seeing isn't enough. let's awaken his memory through battle." Alice said

"Let's hope your plan works." Sonic said

"Alright, we'll try. let's wake Eugeo up together."

Eugeo charges at the three. Sonic also charges at Eugeo. But instead of slashing as he usually does, he runs super fast and slides toward's Eugeo. Eugeo is caught off guard as he goes airborne and falls to the ground. Sonic just tripped Eugeo and made him lose his balance. Soon, Kirito charges at Eugeo as he just jumps and drops down with his sword aiming at Eugeo. Eugeo quickly rolls away from the attack and get's back up soon after, and attacks Kirito. Kirito slashes, as well as they both, begin clashing swords together. Alice charges up her sword, ready to attack Eugeo while Sonic also charges up Excalibur as the two charge at Eugeo at the same time. Eugeo forms an ice wall between them, but Alice and Sonic shatter the ice wall as they both unleash their attacks at Eugeo. Eugeo attempts to block the oncoming attacks but due to the amount of force coming from Alice and Sonic, Eugeo get's pushed back and hit's the wall hard behind. Though, the attack did cause some injuries toward's Eugeo. It wasn't enough since he quickly got back up from the floor.

"I can't... lose... I must win... For her..."

"I can't lose to you either, Eugeo. We promised, we'd reach the top together?"

"And we will reach it together." Sonic said

Seconds later, the three charge at each other full speed as the three clash swords together.

"I... saw that before in Rulid... Wait... Alice and Eugeo and I..."

"I don't know... I don't want to know..."

"Eugeooooo!"

"AAAAAAAHHHH!"

The three slam swords once again, but this time with more force.

*Flashback*

"Hey, we should get back son before he finds us." Young Kirito said

"We still have time. come on... Just a little longer?" Young Alice said

"Hey, I haven't seen you two all day. is this where you've been? Doing what?" Young Eugeo said

Kirito and Alice show Eugeo a sheath with a knife inside it.

"Whoops, he found us. It's three days early, but... Happy birthday, Eugeo!"

"Huh? This is for me? But it's so wonderful..."

"It's not as cool as the real one your brother has... But it's way better than the wooden swords they sell in the shops!"

"You're right... it's heavier than my brother's sword! I love it, you guys! Thank you both so much, I'm so happy. This is the best birthday present ever..."

"H-Hey... Don't cry!"

"I remembered, Eugeo. We didn't meet for the first time two years ago, in front of the Gigas Cedar. Long ago, when I was little, I grew up with my dear friends in Rulid Village. Eugeo... and Alice... How could I have forgotten such precious memories? At the Northern Cave, when Alice broke the Taboo, and when the knight came to her... I... I was there too. It wasn't just you there. It wasn't your fault. "Get Alice back." That was our goal together. Eugeo. Eugeo. I was meant to meet with you. I'm sure of it. Later on, we would meet Sonic at the Gigas Cedar.

"Kiri...ti? Alice? Sonic?"

"Eugeo... Have you remembered, Eugeo?!"

"Eugeooo!"

"Ah! Kirito!"

"...Release Recollection!"

Eugeo slams his sword on the floor as he freezes Eugeo and Alice. However, Sonic was able to dodge being frozen again. Sonic charges Excalibur once again.

"Eugeo... Why?"

"I'm sorry, Kirito... Alice... Sonic. please don't follow me." Eugeo walking away

"Eugeo! What are you doing!" Sonic shouted

"EUGEOOO!"

Sonic look's back as he notices Kirito and Alice stuck inside the ice. He turned as his sword was still charging.

"Don't worry, I help you two get out." Sonic said

Moments later, Sonic slashes at the ice that Kirito and Alice were stuck from.

"When I regained my memory. I was fighting against my three dearest friends. But the cold, stabbing pain, like a thorn in my head, still didn't disappear. It was the same as the purple crystal that was stuck in Eldrie's forehead... It compelled me to do as the Pontifex ordered and stop those before me. I couldn't help but use the Blue Rose Sword to freeze my best friends. that was all I could do to stop while resisting the thorn."

*Top Floor*

After defeating his friends, Euego returns to the top of the Cathedral. Soon after, he removes his armour.

"I can't hold onto my consciousness for much longer. I have to atone for my mistakes before I lose myself. there's only one way..."

"Hohee hoheehee... Stalling them would have been sufficient. I didn't expect you'd be back alive! Oh my, look, at what you've to the armour the Pontifex graced you with! Don't tell me you were losing and turned tail, Number 32..."

"I've sealed the two rebels in ice, Your Eminence, Prime Senator."

"Only two? What about the third armour rebel? Never mind that, but did you finish them off properly, didn't you, 32?"

"I did not finish them off, Prime Senator. The Pontifex's order was to stop them."

"That won't do! that just won't do, Number 32! When you speak to me, call "Your Eminence, prime Senator." Next time you forget the "Your Eminence." I'll turn you into a horse! Eugeo charges at Adminsitartoir with the dagger in his hand and stabs her. However, a shield stops him from penetrating her.

Eugeo then get's knockback away from the Administrator.

"Where did you get a toy like that? This must be the work of that library runt. It was a mistake she gave this little proper metallic element. No metal object of any kind can damage me now." Administrator said

"Wha..."

"You pitiful child."

"..."

"Just when I'd promised you... that if you gave all of yourself to me I'd reciprocate your love equally. That eternal love you seek... that eternal control.. it was within your grasp!"

"Eternal... love... Internal... control..." Eugeo said

"That's right. If you devote yourself to me, the thirst you suffer will be gone. The fears and worries you carry will be erased."

"To love is control, and to be controlled? YOU'RE the pitiful one if that's truly what you believe!" Eugeo said

"What?"

"Love isn't about control. it's not something to be gained as a reward. Like watering flowers, it's something you give unconditionally! "

"How disappointed. I was going to forgive you for rebelling and save your soul." Administrator said

"I don't need your salvation. I fight for what I love."

"Is that your answer, boy? Fine, I'll offer you merciful death, at least."

Moments later, Euego charges at Adminsitartor while charging up his sword.

"Rrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

He then slashes at Administrator, but she uses a shield inf front of her, stopping Eugeo from attacking her.

"Shatter! Graaaaaah!"

Eugeo uses his strength to let his sword go through the shield.

"How..."

She then jumps away from Eugeo.

"She dodged it? At this rate..."

Soon after, Eugeo gets knockback, hits the wall behind, and fall's towards the grown.

"Ngh..."

"That sword... Now I see..."

"My legs won't move. I HAVE to move. Her next Sacred Arts is... If I give up here, what was the point of coming back to this room? What was the point of LIVING until now?"

"Nghhhh"

"H-Heeee!"

"Huh?!"

"H-H-Help me, Your Eminence, Pontifex!" Chudelkin shouted

"A Few Minutes Earlier... Chudlekin had descended to the 99th floor in search of Kirito, Alice, and Sonic. After being defeated by Alice and Sonic, he returned to the top floor... where his enemies were also coming to find Eugeo."

A loud explosion erupted undernath them.

Moments later, Kirito, Sonic, and Alice were on the top floor.

"So who are those two over there." Sonic looking in front of him

"Is that the Pontifex? The Administrator?" Kirito said

"Yes. She hasn't changed at all in these six years." Alice said

"My. My. This is the first time I've had so many visitors. It was almost time to reset Bercouli and Fanatio, but you... I've only used you for six years. Your logic circuits don't have any errors... "And who are you to join our conversation you rebel!" Chudelkin said

"Speak for yourself, puppet! The strings on you are plain to see!" Alice said

"What is it, Chudelkin?"

"I shall gladly risk my life annihilating these rebels. Then, Your Eminence... if you would allow me to touch you with these hands, to kiss you... If I could spend the night of my dreams with you. Please grant this wish!"

"Oh! Ohhhh! I am overcome with supreme joy at this moment! And now... And NOW, my fighting spirit has been amplified! I am invincible! System... Call! Generate... Thermal... Element!

Moments later, a giant fireball appears in the middle of the room as it explodes. An enormous fire monster appears—Kirito charges at Infernal Genie as he charges his sword and unleashes power sword clashes the beast. The Infernal Genie attempts to push Kirito away, but Kirito dodges his attack and attacks the beast. Eugeo charges up his sword as he slams his sword on the floor, and sharp pointy ices appear from the ground and stab Infernal Genie across his body. The Infernal Genie takes a deep breath and breaths out the fire, burning ice away from him. Alice charges at the beast and releases beams of flowers towards it. The flowers push the beast away from them as it covers itself from the flowers. Moments later, Sonic jumps in front of the Infernal Genie as he charges up his sword and unleashes a series of fast sword attacks and leaving scratch marks behind. The Infernal Genie attempts to punch Sonic away from him but Sonic pushes the fist away from him with a sword attack. Right after, Sonic flys above the Infernal Genie and stabs the Infernal Genie right above his and releases a beam of light inside the Genie. The Infernal Genie was taking heavy damage from the attack so he looks right up at Sonic, takes a deep breath and fires a large fire beam towards Sonic. Sonic quickly reacts and releases a bigger beam towards the Infernal Genie. After, several seconds of firing beams at each other, Sonic's beam overpowered Infernal Genie's beam and hits it straight down towards it. The Infernal Genie falls toward the ground as it kept getting beamed down from Sonic's attack. Soon after, Sonic fly's away and land's next to Kirito.

"This monster really wants us dead." Sonic said

"Hohohohohoh! What do you pests think of my ultimate Sacred Art?"

"I had no idea he was capable of such an Art. Unfortunately, I can't destroy that intangible flame giant with my flowers. Even if I were to focus on defence, I couldn't hold it off for long."

"Meaning we'll have to attack the real Chudelkin in that time, huh?"

"Exactly. I'll find a way to avert him for ten seconds. Kirito, Eugeo, Sonic, please use that opportunity to attack Chudelkin."

"Ohohohoh! Burn them to a crisp, genie!"

The giant beast jumps very and begins to fall at the four.

"Spin- My flowers!"

The flowers begin fast as they stop the Genie from crushing them. Kirito and Sonic aim their swords at Chudelkin.

"His eyes!" Kirito shouted

"Got it! Discharge!"

Eugeo fires an arrow at the Administrator.

"Your Eminence! Please watch out!"

The administrator broke the arrow that was heading towards her. Soon after, Kirito and Sonic begin to charge up their swords.

"Graaaah!"

"Graaaah!"

Eugeo notices Kirito wearing different outfits, and Sonic's armour is gone, and he wears the same clothing as Kirito.

"-Hyyaaah!"

"-Hyaaah!"

Kirito and Sonic fire their skills at Chudelkin. Their swords extended as both swords stab Chudelkin right to his eyes. Soon after, blood spews out of him as he begins to cry in pain.

"Ohooooh... M-My... My... Eminence..."

"Is she healing him?!" Kirito said

The administrator pushes Chudelkin's body away, and hit's the wall.

"I'm simply clearing him up. What an eyesore."

"How could you?"

"It was a dull show, but at least I was able to gather some useful data. You irregular boys. I thought I couldn't view your properties because you were unregistered units. But that's not why. You two came from over there. From the other side." Administrator said

"That's right." Kirito said

"A point for you. Nice job. However, you could say I'm technically not from that world you hear of." Sonic said

"Even so. We have been granted the same Authority as the people of this world, so we're nowhere near your level Adiminstartor... or rather. Quinella." Kirito said

"So the little brat filled your heads with all of her silly stories! Tell me, why did you stumble into my world without administrator privileges?" Quinella said

"Quinella. You are the Pontifex. You have Adminisatrtor privlilges. But that doesn't mean you can alter the past however you please. The fact you were born and grew up a human being can't ever be erased." Kirito said

"A human? Human, hmm? It's interesting having you two come from the other side call me that." Quinella said

"Well, what else how are we suppose to call you?" Sonic said

"Are you saying that you're better than me? Looking down on the people of Underworld?"

"Why would I look down at others? I give the same respect to everyone I've encountered." Sonic said

"Not at all. We're all human. We all have the same souls. What I mean is that as long as you're human, you'll never be a perfect entity. if the Dark Territory's invasion starts now, it'll wipe out the human realm. And the world you worked to preserve will be met with merciless violence. The people on the other side will think of it as a failure. Start over." Kirito said

"...I admit that isn't a pleasant thought. To think that my world is nothing but a toy box under the whims of some other. But then, what of you? What about those on the other side? Are you perpetually aware that your world was created by a higher power... and strive to please them so that they don't reset your world? You've heard that brat's stores. COntrol is the proof of my existence. That desire is the one thing that motivates me and gives me life! My legs are meant only to trample over others. they will bend for no one!" Quinella said

"Then does that mean you're going to let the human realm be overrun... and wait alone on an empty throne for annihilation?" Alice said

"I have no intention of letting Underworld be reset or accepting The Final Stress Test. I already have a command for that. And you get to see it before anyone else. To be honest, the knights were only a stopgap. The might I seek has no need for thought or emotion, never mind memories. it simply needs to massacre the enemies before it. it doesn't need to be human." Quinella said

"What are you saying?"

"He was an utter fool, but Chudelkin did have his uses. he gave me the time to finish this lengthy command. Now, awaken, my faithful servant! My soulless slaughterer! release Recollection!"

The weapons on their stands began to glow as they floated right in the middle of the room.

"N-No way..."

"It can't be!"

The weapons begin to spin as they all transform into a shiny giant monster.

"Perfect Weapon Control on this many weapons at once? Impossible!" Alice shock

"Ahahahaha! THIS is the power I've sought! Pure, unrelenting, eternal offence! Its name is... Let's see... Why don't we call it Sword Golem." Quinella said

"Oh come on, is that the best name you can think of? Why not call it, a pile of trash?" Sonic said

"A sword automation!"

"Now, fight, Golem! Destroy your enemy!"

The four were about to fight the beast. However, Sonic had second thoughts as he looked behind him to see the three.

"How about you three stay back for now? I'll deal with this monster." Sonic said

"Are you insane? You'll be ripped to shreds!" Alice said

"Sonic, what are you doing?" Kirito said

"Just let me fight this alone. Trust me, I have been in bigger situations than this. It's nothing new. Besides."

Sonic transforms back into his golden armour and shows his sword to the three of them.

"Quinella doesn't have information about Excalibur nor can get any. So no matter what skill I use, she won't be able to analyze it. So please, sit this one out for me." Sonic said

Kirito look's at Eugeo and Alice. Eugeo nods, and Alice nods as well.

"I have no information about Sonic's sword as well nor his armour. So it must be unique." Alice said

"I got nothing either." Eugeo said

"Fine, will sit this one out." Kirito said

The three jump away as they leave Sonic on his own. Sonic turns around and aims his sword at the Golem. The Golem raises its blade arm and slashes at Sonic. Sonic slashes its arm away from him. Soon after, Sonic charges up his sword as he slashes his sword once at the Golem. Seconds later, yellow slashes appear all around the Golem as it took massive damage from the slashes. After Sonic's attack, Golem begins to slash Sonic over and over again very fast. Sonic blocks each swing the Golem attacks him with as he charges his sword once again. Moments later, Sonic unleashes a series of super-fast sword attacks at the Golem, dealing massive damage and leaving scratch marks over its body. Moments later, the Golem begins to spin super fast and heads towards Sonic. Sonic aims his sword at Golem as it begins to glow. Seconds later, portals open up behind Sonic as swords came flying out and attacking the Golem repeatedly. The Golem attempts to destroy the blades that were flying towards it but the swords were faster and stronger, so it was nearly impossible to destroy them all at once, so the Golem was being attacked and being pushed back by each sword that came through the portals. Soon after, Sonic charges up his Excalibur sword and releases a powerful attack towards the Golem and sends it flying towards the room's celiling, hitting it and causing the Cathedral to shake. Soon after, the Golem falls back down and hits the floor hard next to Quinella and Sonic land's right back with Kirito, Alice, and Euego.

"How unfortunate. You were a good puppet, but now I must break you. Now, destroy the rogue knight Alice!"

"Urk!"

"Alice!"

"It's s powerful... We can't beat this thing..."

"You did enough Sonic. The four of us! We can handle this!" Kirito said

"Right! Let's do this!"

Kirito, Eugeo, and Sonic all charge at Quinella. Alice notices a dagger lying down on the ground.

"What's this?"

"Use the dagger!"

"Wh-Who are you?"

"A friend, Quick! Stab it through the gate on the floor!"

"But those two will-"

Moments later, a giant spider appears in front of Alice.

"I'll but them time! Hurry!"

The Golem continues battling with the three. As they were fighting, a giant spider began to charge at the Golem.

"Hyaaah!"

The spider jumps toward the Golem as it knocks it back. The golem slashes at the giant spider, but the spider jumps away from it. As the giants were fighting, Alice stab's the dagger at the floor door as it began to glow.

"it's no use... Run."

The golem slashes the giant spider.

"..."

Moments later, lighting struck the golem as it was knockback.

"Good. I made it. I'm glad... we could fight together... in the end..."

Cardinal appears through a door that Alice opened.

"You're so stubborn! I told you to retire to the corner of your favourite bookshelf!" Cardinal said

"Kirito... Who is this person?" Alice said

"Cardinal. She's a pontifex who was basinshed after fighting the Administrator. Don't worry, she's a friend. She's been helping and guiding us this whole time. She loves this world and grieves for its people's suffering. Cardinal... Was that Charlotte's true form? She saved us. She sacrificed for us. Why? How?" Kirito said

"In her 50 years, she spoke to me endlessly and watched over countless people. She's been with you and Sonic for two years. being together, even without a fluctlight... Even if her intelligence was more than accumulated input and output data... It's possible for a true heart to reside. Even love. Though I doubt a hollow, empty creature like you would understand, Administrator!" Cardinal said

"So you did show up. I knew if I made these boys suffer, you'd come crawling out of your mouldy cellar. What a pathetic little thing you are. You try to prepare pawns to use against me... And you can't even sacrifice them when the time comes. Humans are truly hopeless." Quinella said

"Is that so? You've become quite good at imitating them since we last met. Did you spend the last 200 years patching that sneer in the mirror?" Cardinal said

"Oh my, and did you spend it learning to talk like that? I recall you trembling when they brought you before me 200 years ago, Lyserith." Quinella said

"You... You've detached this location's address, haven't you?"

"I admit, I made a mistake letting you get away when I had you at the bink of death. After all, I was the one who placed the old cellar a discontinuous address. But I learned from that. So now, I've trapped the little mouse on this side, in the cage with this cat."

"Does that not mean you are locked in here as well? If I were you, I wouldn't be so certain that I was the cat. There are five of us, and only one of you. forgetting these youths could prove fatal."

Sonic gasps as he looks at Excalibur.

"I... I just attacked all 300 people all by myself..."

"Good answer. You are absolutely correct! I'm glad you finally noticed! I am a sovereign. As long as something I can rule over exists. I see no problem. Whether I rule over people or swords doesn't make a difference to be me." Quinella said

"You... monster..."

"Why are you all so quite all of sudden? This is only a prototype, to be clear. A complete version that can withstand that awful Stress Test will take half of them."

"Half... You don't mean?"

"Half of the all human units, yes. That is half of about 80,000, so... 40,000. That should be enough to repel the dark Terriotyr's invasion and counterattack. Isn't that just what you wanted, Alice? The human realm will be perfectly safe." Quinella said

"Great Pontifex. I know our words mean naught, but please answer my question. Where are the owners of the thirty swords that make up the golem? If every sword in that golem is functioning through Memory Release... Then a strong bond must exist between the swords and their wielders... Those swords and their wielders must love each other." Alice said

"The answer to that question is right in front of you. Eugeo must have figured it out already." Quinella said

"Huh?! I see... so I was right..."

"Eugeo... You've figured it out?!" Kirito shock

"For how long..." Sonic said

"You two... That crystal in the ceiling. It's not just a decoration. It's made of all the Memory Shards she's taken from the Integrity Knights." Eugeo said

"Wha-"

"No way!"

"Does those mean the Memory Shards have their own independent will?"

"Quinella... How long do you intend to abuse the people of this world?!" Cardinal said

"Why don't you answer that question yourself, little mouse?"

"Matching fluctlight patterns! That's it, isn't it? If you insert the memories you took into a soul archetype in a new light cube- Then you'd be able to use it as a pseudo-human unit... But its intelligence would be limited. It would have only basic instincts. There's no way it could use advanced commands like Perfect Weapon Control Arts." Cardinal said

"That crystal in the ceiling's like a baby with someone's most treasured memories..."

"There is a way around that limitation, however. The memory pieces were inserted... must contain patterns identical to the data structures of the linked weapons. In other words, the swords were made with the Sacred Power of the people... the Integrity Knights held most dear... That's it, isn't it, Administartor?!"

Including the memory fragments, my Golem has the power of more than 300 units! And most importantly... Now that you know my secret, there's no way to can destroy it. After all, even if they're in the shape of swords, they are all living human beings!"

"Such horrendous action from a monster like her. Using innocent lives for her own benefit. It's not right. However... I have also done atrocious things myself as well that cause many lives before... with my own bare hands..." Sonic thought

"You're right... I cannot kill humans. That is one restriction I cannot violate. I spent the last 200 years training to kill you... Yet it was all for nothing." Cardinal said

"How foolish... How absurd... I thought you knew the truth about this world. Every living creature is no more than data that can be overwritten at any time. Yet you still see that data as people. What a ridiculous creature you are."

"No, Quinella. they are people. The people who live here possess all the real emotions you and I have lost. Mirth, sorrow, joy, love. There are the very things that make them humans. Whether their soul dwells in a lightcube or an organic brain makes no difference. And so... I shall accept my defeat with pride. I will let you take my life, but with now condition... Ley these young people live." Cardinal said

"Ah!"

"Cardinal? What are you doing?" Sonic said

"Oh my... Why would I need to accept that, under these circumstances?" Quinella said

"Alright, then. I'll get to play with them later, after all. I swear to Goddess Stacia..."

"No, not a god. Swear on the thing you truly value, your own fluctlight." Cardinal said

"Cardinal, I'm sorry, but what you are doing is stupid and idiotic! Why in the hell would you even think of going in that route?" Sonic said

"Sonic... please..."

"No, stop. I agree with Sonic. This is no different from what happened eight years ago. That won't happen again!" Kirito said

"But I can't defeat the Sword Golem..."

"We'll do it. Let us bear that sin, Cardinal! Just don't give up your life. And lend us your strength." Kirito said

"We have no other choice..." Sonic said

"I agree. As a Knight, I cannot possibly;lt allow a Pontifex to sacrifice herself in my place." Alice said

"What stubborn children you are... Fine then, I shall assist. But know you cannot win without a plan." Cardinal said

"I have an idea." Eugeo said

"Eugeo?"

"Kirito. The Administrator tricked me into raising my sword against you, Sonic, and Alice. I haven't aimed for that, but Cardinal still would've sacrificed herself for me. And just like you said, I don't want to repeat my mistakes. I can't let that happen, no matter what. This time... I'm going to save everyone. Cardinal, please, turn me... turn my body into a sword..."

"Eugeo... You..."

"If we run away, the Administrator will turn half the population into monsters. System Call. Remove Core Protection."

"Are you certain, Eugeo? You may never return to your original form again." Cardinal said

"That's fine. this is my part to play... This is the reason I'm here. Oh, but I should tell you one last thing. Cardinal... and you, Kirito, Sonic, Alice. Metal weapons can' harm the Pontifex. That's why the dagger didn't work." Eugeo said

"Eugeo... Okay. Alice, Sonic, and I will hold off the Golem until Cardinal finishes the ritual." Kirito said

"Wait! The three of us are going to fight the Sword Golem alone?" Alice said

"Don't worry, I'm sure we can handle it together!" Kirito said

"And we will." Sonic said

"But... I have no memories of you. I can't fight like you three can. Can we really survive a fight like this? Ah! What's this?"

"What's wrong?"

"I can hear... a voice... it's saying..."

Moments later, the three charge at the Sword Golem. Kirito lunges at it and releases a powerful slash to attack. Alice charges up her sword a fired a beam of flowers toward's the blade Golem. The Sword Golem attempts to block the attacks but is pushed back towards the walls of the building. Sonic jumps right in front of the Sword Golem and unease a series of powerful sword attacks. The series of attacks shook the building significantly. As the three were fighting the Sword Golem, Eugeo began transforming into a sword. Quinella notices and fires a spear at Eugeo.

"What are you doing?!"

The spearheaded towards Eugeo. However, Alice jumps right in front of Eugeo as she blocks the spear from hitting Eugeo. But due to securing a powerful skill, Alice kneels after getting pierced by the spear, injured.

"Burn them to ashes!"

Quinella begins to form a fireball and fires the giant fireball towards Alice. Before the ball can finish Alice, Cardinal jumps in front of Alice, forms a shield in front of them, and blocks the fireball from ending Alice. However, Cardinal couldn't entirely stop the skill as she struggled to secure the talent from hitting both her and Alice.

"Release... Recollection."

Moments later, Eugeo begins glowing light blue until fully transforming into a sword he requested. Soon after, Cardinal falls to the ground, but Kirito catches her.

"Cardinal, are you okay?" Kirito asks

"You two, look." Sonic said

Kirito and Cardinal both look to see what Sonic is talking about. What they saw was incredible. It was Eugeo, as a blue sword floating right in the front of them.

"It's beautiful... This human... love... it's... simply beautiful." Cardinal said

Yeah... It is. Yeah... It is beautiful." Kirito said

"Simply amazing," Sonic said

"Lyserith, you... What are you playing at?! You can imitate, but one measly sword cannot defeat my ultimate weapon!" Quinella said

The sword headed towards the golem and destroyed it as its body parts flew everywhere.

"I'm bored of watching these little mice struggle. It's ruining my fun. Not that they even managed to do more than break one prototype, it seems. I can make hundreds or thousands more of those if I want." Quinella said

The sword aims towards Quinella.

"What's this. Does this little boy still want to fight? You did get lucky and manage to break my toy, but that's no reason to get cocky." Quinella summoning her sword

The sword begins to cover itself with ice, ready to finish Quinella. Soon after, large wings appear behind the blade as it is headed toward's Quinella. However, before the sword could get closer to Quinella, two arms extended behind it, and both grab the grip of the blade, stopping it from going forward even more. It was none other than Kirito and Sonic's arms.

"Man, Eugeo, you grew so much. But what you were trying to do just now was not a very good idea." Sonic said

"We... won't let you go alone! Eugeo... You've spent so much time blaming yourself for not saving Alice. But half of those regrets should have been ours to carry, so let us fight with you." Kirito said

"It's time to finish this once and for all. But I'm going to need some help from you Eugeo. Care to help out?" Sonic said

Moments later, a blue rose sword appears on Sonic's other hand. It was the same Blue Rose Sword Kirito was holding.

"Excalibur and a new sword... Now we're talking, thank you Eugeo." Sonic thanking him

"Now then, together, the three of us can bring Alice back!" Kirito said

"And we will!" Sonic said

"Unacceptable. I will not allow uninvited invaders to do such things in MY world! On your knees! Bow your head and submit to me!" Quinella said

"Like I ever will bow down to people like you. In fact, I don't need people to rule over me. I make my own rules and one of my rules is to take down bad guys like you!" Sonic said

"You're nothing but a usurper. Someone who doesn't love this world has no right to rule it!" Kirito said

"Love is control. I love all things, so I rule all things!" Quinella said

Moments later, the three began charging towards each other at full speed and clang swords at each other blades. The three try to knock one another off-balance, but out of nowhere, Sonic kicks Quinella on her stomach and knocks her back away from both him and Kirito. Sonic charges toward Quinella and begins unleashing powerful sword attacks toward Quinella. Quinella, unfazed by the attacks, blocks each strike from Sonic that lands on her. As Quinella is distracted by Sonic, Kirito charges Quinella and unleashes a leap attack towards her. Quinella notices Kirito charging at her and forms a bubble shield around her. Both Kirito and Sonic begin unleashing more sword attacks and are now trying to destroy the security around Quinella. Even though the protection took most of the attacks, Quinella took slight damage from the attacks either way inside the shield. Soon after, Sonic charges up Excalibur and unleashes a powerful sword attack towards the shield, destroying it. Quinella's eyes widen as she never witnessed such a sword destroy her shield that's not meant to be destroyed by anything. Quinella soon jumps back as she begins charging up her sword with dark energy and aims it towards Kirito and Sonic. The two charge up their swords as well, as both charge at Quinella once again. Seconds later, Quinella unleashes a powerful beam of dark energy towards them, but both jump away from the beam and hit the wall instead as the whole room begins to shake violently. Kirito charges toward Quinella and, using his strength, begins unleashing heavy sword attacks towards her as much as possible. Quinella blocks each attack from Kirito but is being pushed back slowly due to the force of Kirito's attacks. As Kirito kept unleashing sword attacks towards Quinella, Sonic aimed both Excalibur and his Blue Rose Sword towards Quinella as their swords charged up. Kirito quickly jumps away as Quinella turns to face to face Sonic. Moments later, Sonic connects both blades and unleashes a powerful beam towards Quinella. Quinella quickly puts her sword in front of her and blocks the beam from getting closer to her, but due to the amount of force coming from the shaft, she was being pushed back slowly every few seconds and taking damage from it as well. Eventually, the beam would disappear, but Quinella will be injured from the powerful attack Sonic unleashed upon. Seconds later, both Kirito and Sonic charge towards Quinella and unleash powerful sword attacks towards her simultaneously.

"To think... neither of those swords... was metal... Hee, teehee... This is... sooner than I planned, but... I'll have to take my leave." Quinella said

"Backing down from a fight, huh? What a joke you are." Sonic said

"You're not going anywhere... we're finishing this right here and now."

The three began charging up their swords one last time as they stared down at each other and not saying a single word. Moments later, the three charge at each other as they all slam their swords together at once. But soon after, Quinella's sword shattered into pieces and exploded in front of her.

"TAKE THIS!" Sonic shouted

"HYAAAAAA!" Kirito shouted

Moments later, Kirito and Sonic stab Quinella with their swords right through her heart as the whole room shakes from the shock wave. And then, silence fills the room.

"What... What an unexpected outcome... This wound... I can't underutilize it..."

"It's over." Kirito said

"Accept your defeat. Fair and square." Sonic said

"No, I... I'm the ruler... of this word... The Pontifex... The Administrator... I cannot... die... N... I won't... allow... Aaaaaaaah!"

Moments later, Quinella falls and hits the ground as her lifeless body fades away.

"I think... we did it..." Sonic said

"Did we... do it? Alice... Cardinal..." Kirito said

"You all did well." Alice said

"We really... defeated the Administrator?" Kirito asks

"I can't comprehend what just happen. Is this reality?" Sonic said

"Yes..."

Moments later, the Blue Rose Swords began glowing as Eugeo reappeared once again.

"Eugeo! We did it!" Sonic said

"Eugeo! Are you alright?!" Kirito said

"Yes, I'm alright. Thank you, Cardinal." Eugeo thanking Cardinal

"Thank the goddesses..."

"That's right! Cardinal... There... There was a reason Sonic and I came here, and..." Kirito said

"Calm down, Kirito. Look out there. That's the world you two saved." Cardinal said

"The world..."

"...we..."

"...just..."

"...saved..."

Sonic remove's his helmet off and takes a deep breath.

"Man, another day of saving the day." Sonic said

"Kirito? Are you crying?" Eugeo asks

"I am not! And if I were, whose fault would it be, anyway? If... If you'd died... Or if you'd been stuck as a sword forever! Just... never go off on your own again, okay?!" Kirito said

"Kirito, it's okay. I'm right here. And you and Sonic were fighting with me. that's how we managed to beat the Administrator." Eugeo said

"Of course we were! We've gone through this whole journey together, haven't we? We've always been together, and we're always going to be together." Kirito said

"Will never leave each other behind. Will solve through things together, no matter how difficult it is!" Sonic said

"Yeah. You're right. the sky reminds me of how I used to look up at the stars alone every night." Eugeo said

"Yes... it's really beautiful." Alice said

"The world isn't as big as I thought. We've been under the same sky the whole time. Whatever happened, if I looked up at the sky, the stars were watching over me. Somehow, they remind me of the way your swords shine, Kirito... Sonic... Oh, hey! Night-Sky Blade would be a great name for your black sword, Kirito! Both yours and Sonic's swords can watch over this little world, just like the night sky." Eugeo said

"Well, Excalibur, looks like you have a new nickname as well! "Protector Of Worlds"... I know it sounds cheesy, but I'll try to find some alternatives to that name." Sonic said

Excalibur begins to glow for a couple of seconds but

"Nigth-Sky Blade"... Yeah, that's a good name. Thanks, Eugeo." Kirito thanking Eugeo

"My, it appears Eugeo has some talent for picking names! Unlike Kirito." Alice said

"Hey, what makes you say that?!" Kirito said

"Ahaha... It's not just the sky that's been with me this whole time. You three have, also. Even if I didn't remember at the time... All my memories were there in my heart. I was never truly alone."

"Yeah. Memories never really disappear."

A few minutes later...

"When I fused with Alice's memories, I couldn't tell... she'd been watching over me."

"Yes. She... Well, the other me was waiting for you three." Alice said

"How strange. I lack memories, but I still feel like this has happened before." Alice said

"I'm trying to find which one he pointed out but I can't find it." Sonic said

The five walk towards a computer right in the middle of the room

"The System Console..." Kirito said

"What is that doing here?" Sonic said

"What on Terraria is this?" Alice said

"A device to make contact with the outside world," Kirito said

"Outside... world? Oh, right. The Administrator said you and Sonic were "from the other side." What did she mean by that?" Eugeo said

Kirito and Sonic look at each other for a few seconds till Kirito looks back at Eugeo and Alice.

"We're She was right. We are not from his world. We came from outside the Underworld, a place known as the Real World." Kirito said

"Then when you said you didn't remember..."

"That was a lie. We're sorry. We genuinely don't know why we were brought here from our world, though. So we came here in search of the system Console to contact the Real World. Sorry, we keep all this from you, Eugeo." Kirito apologizing

"We didn't know how you will react to something like this, so we acted like normal people here in this world. I'm truly sorry." Sonic apologizing

"It's alright. I forgive you." Eugeo accepting their apologies

"Eugeo..."

"Honestly, it doesn't matter where you came from. Without you two, I would've never left Rulid and come here to rescue Alice. Thank you, Kirito and Sonic." Eugeo said

"We should be the one thanking you. We'd never have made it this far without you." Kirito said

"If it weren't for you, we would've just starved to death out in the middle of nowhere." Sonic said

"Have you finished talking? The time to rest remains a distant dream. We must resolve the war with the darkness and the memories of the Integrity Knights." Cardinal said

"...Yes, indeed."

"But first, the matter at hand."

"Yeah."

Soon, the System Console was activated and ready for use.

"Contacting external monitoring team..."

Kirito types on the keyboard and begins talking to the other side.

"Kikuoka, can you hear us?" Kirito said

"You been expecting us?" Sonic said

"Kirito? Sonic? Is that you two I hear?" Kikuoka said

"It's been too long." Kirito said

"Too long for my liking." Sonic said

"Well, this is a surprise. Your memories weren't locked?" Kikuoka said

"We have been waiting this long for this. And let me tell you, we have a lot to discuss. What you've done here, Kikuoka..."

"Kirito?"

Seconds later, a ball of light appears on top of the room.

"What the-"

"Watch out!" Sonic shouted

Sonic runs and grabs Alice, Eugeo, and Cardinal as fast as he can and runs away as the white ball fires a beam right down at Kirito.

"Kirito!"

After the beam disappears, Sonic turns around and notices Kirito lying down on the ground motionless. His eyes widen as he runs back toward's Kirito, as well as the three behind him.

"Kirito! Kirito! Can you hear me?! Get up!" Sonic shaking Kirito around, trying to walk him up

"What is happening to him, Cardinal?!" Alice said

"I haven't the faintest. He has no external injuries, nor has his Life decreased."

"Kirito! Say something!" Kikuoka said

Sonic get's up from the ground, heads toward's the System Console, and slams his fist on the stand.

"Kikuoka... what did you just do to, Kirito?!" Sonic said

"What? Sonic, what's going on over there? What's happening?" Kikuoka said

"What have you done, man from the outer world?" Cardinal said

"Who am I speaking to?"

"Kirito, Sonic, and I are close friends, and if you have done something to Kirito..."

"No, I didn't do anything."

"Is that so? He suddenly lost consciousness while speaking to you." Cardinal said

'What?! Is he okay?!"

"He is alive but unresponsive."

"... I'll see if I can find anything from my end. You should bring him somewhere safe, though, as his friend."

"But of course."

"Okay. Well, I'm going to close this channel for now. Keep a close eye to him, Sonic." Kikuoka said

"Got it." Sonic said

"You heard the man. We must relocate Kirito to somewhere he will be safe." Cardinal said

"And then what?" Eugeo said

"Moments before Kirito lost consciousness, I sensed a Sacred Art being cast. I believe the Administrator, may have placed a tarp within the System Console. Our first task will be to ascertain precisely what happened. Lend me your hands, Eugeo and Sonic."

"Of course."

"I shall accompany you."

"I have another task for you, Alice." Cardinal said

"And what would that be?"

"We cannot leave the Axiom Church in this state of disarray. It will be necessary to reorganize it and its Integrity Knights and to inform them of the Adminsitartor's and Chudelkin's deaths and their schemes. While I could my position as the Pontifex to do so. I would effecttlbey be imposing my will upon them. It would be best for them, to hear it from a comrade and draw their own conclusions. Furthermore, it is sometimes necessary to withhold information for someone's sake. I will leave the decision of what to share and what to keep from them to you, Alice." Cardinal said

"Understood. I would first like to speak with the commander..." Alice said

"Commander Bercouli?"

"Yes. I have the utmost faith in his judgment."

"Very well. Get on that, then.'

"C-Commander of the Integrity Knights!"

"What is your business? Only Integrity Knights are allowed at this meeting!" Fanatio said

"M-My sincerest apologies! Unfortunately, we have an emergency..."

"Go on. What happened?" Bercouli said

"Um... someone... fell from the sky..."

"If you continue to waste our time..."

"It is true! A woman fell from the sky to Central Cathedral's first floor!"

"And what does she want?"

"She says she's searching for people by the names of "Kirito" and "Sonic"..."

"Kirito... Sonic..."

"Commander!"

Outside Central Cathedral, a woman was standing by herself, looking around in her surroundings. As she was looking around, she heard footsteps coming behind her and turn's around to see Alice and a Golden Armor Knight walking towards her.

"..."

"So, I have some guest over, huh? Well, I guess it can't be that ba-"

The Golden Armor Knight cuts himself from talking and notices the woman standing in front of him.

"I-Is that..."

"I've heard you've come here looking for Kirito and Sonic?" Alice said

"You've heard right, then."

"Identify yourself. Only those invited are permitted on Central Cathedral grounds." Alice said

"My name is Asuna. I'm not your enemy." Asuna introducing herself

"A-Asuna!"

Asuna tuns and notices the Golden Armor Knight remove his helmet and reveal himself to be Sonic.

"S-Sonic!" Asuna said

Sonic slowly walks past Alice, and head's toward Asuna. As soon as Sonic was in front of Asuna, Sonic extended his arms and hugs Asuna in pure excitement. Asuna returns the favour and hugs Sonic back.

"Oh man, you have no idea how much I missed you!" Sonic said

"I missed you and Kirito as well. That's why I'm here to save you two." Asuna said

"Hey, I do not recall inviting you. Are you the intruder from the sky? What brings you here?" Alice said

"Oh, sorry for scaring you. I was hoping to land where Kirito and Sonic were. But I do know now I was correct. You don't know where he is, do you? If so, please take me to him." Asuna said

"He is not in any condition to receive strangers," Alice said

"I know that much. And I promise you I'm much less a "stranger" to him than you are." Asuna said

"You expect me to take you at your word?"

"That would be ideal, yes. But if you won't..." Asuna taking out her sword

"Whoa hey there. Let's not take this into extreme measures..." Sonic said

"You will resort to force? That would require you to defeat a dozen Integrity Knights. I cannot imagine you are capable of such a feat by yourself." Alice said

"No matter how small, I'll take any chance I have to save Kirito and Sonic. That's what I came to this world to do, after all." Asuna said

"To this world? Wait... You don't mean... You came from the Real World like Kirito and Sonic?!" Alice said

"How do you know about the Real World?" Asuna asks

"Kirito and Sonic told me before Kirito lost his consciousness."

"Then that makes it easy. Bring me to where you're keeping Kirito! We know what happened to him, and it should be possible to help him recover!" Asuna said

"...Alright. I'll take you to Kirito."

"Thank you. Also, I never did get your name."

"I am Alice, Alice Synthesis Thirty."

"Oh, so you're Alice."

"Is something the matter?"

"No, it's nothing. We should hurry."

"Come on you two, let's get Kirito back." Sonic said

"Alice! Sonic!" Eugeo said

"I even tried to do my best to heal Kriito myself but nothing as well." Sonic said

"And who is this?"

"She claims to have come from the Real World and knows how to heal Kirito." Alice said

Asuna runs toward Kirito as Sonic follows behind her as well.

"Kirito... It's been so long... Don't worry. I'll fix you right up. Just give me a little bit more time." Asuna said

"You heard her, Kirito. We will never give up on you." Sonic said

A few moments later...

"I'm Asuna. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"I am known as Cardinal."

"And, um, I'm Eugeo."

"Asuna of the Real World, tell me what you know of Kirito's condition. I have made no progress in discovering a cure through my own research." Cardinal said

"Kirito's fluctlight... his soul was damaged by some external force. As a result, he's lost a core piece of his soul called his self-image." Asuna explaining

"Self... what now?" Eugeo confused

"What is this "self-image" you speak of?" Alice asks

"You could also call it simply the "self" or the "ego."

"I don't follow."

"It's the part of the soul where your sense of self or what kind of person you are is. And without it, he's lost the ability to interact with the outside world." Asuna explaining

"I see..."

"Self, ego... As an Integrity Knight, my entire personality was a construct. So what kind of person does that make me? What is my "ego"?"

"Kikuoka really loves doing these things to us, huh?" Sonic said

"So the reason he does not respond to us is he does not have the will to do so?" Cardinal said

"That's what it looks like, yes."

"Hmm. The Administartor performed numerous experiments on the soul during her reign, and some turned subjects into empty husks. Perhaps she used that knowledge here." Cardinal said

"We've been monitoring both Kirito and Sonic's condition from the Real World Kirito passed out, and in that time. We've reached several spikes of activity in Kirito's soul. And from our logs, we've isolated the cause of this heightened activity, you, Alice, and Eugeo." Asuna said

"U-Us?"

"How can that be?"

"Explain Asuna." Sonic said

"When you make contact with him, his lost self-image begins to recover." Asuna said

"And what is the cause of this phenomenon?" Cardinal said

"Physical touch forms a temporary link between your souls. We theorize that this is because the two of you share memories with Kirito. And for you, Sonic, just by being next to Kirito and not touching him. Kirito's self-image recovers a good amount as well. Your friendship between you two is very strong." Asuna said

"Memories?"

"Yes. Your own image of Kirio, your internal perception of him as a person, supplements Kirito's missing self-image, increasing activity in his soul." Asuna said

"So external information concerning him catalyzes his internal recovery."

"Which means if we stay in constant contact with him..."

"It's not going to be that easy, sadly... In order to fully restore his self-image, we will need many, many more memories." Asuna said

"Half of his memories are with me as well during our journeys. But we need more." Sonic said

"For there is more to Kirito than what Alice and Eugeo know of him," Cardinal said

"Exactly/ We'll need lots of people who are close to him to bring everything back." Asuna said

"But Kirito is not from this world. There are few who have interacted with him." Alice said

"Right. This is why we're bringing in reinforcements. A bunch of girls will be coming here from the Real World to try and wake him up." Asuna said

"You mean the rest are coming here as well? That's amazing! I can't wait to see them again!" Sonic said

"How... many girls?" Alice said

"Oh, thank the goddesses..."

"And I presume we will need to guide the visitors to his location when they arrive." Cardinal said

"Yes. They should land around the same spot that I did." Asuna said

"Don't tell me... No, he would not..."

"What?"

"Do not mind me. Let us be off, then." Alice said

"I'll come with you," Eugeo said

"Don't forget to include me as well," Sonic said

"I will remain here and watch over Kirito."

"Hey, look!"

"They're here." Asuna said

"I'm so excited to see everyone once again." Sonic said

"Are these..."

Moments later, two familiar girls landed in front of Asuna and Sonic.

"Asuna! Sonic!"

"Sorry to keep you waiting."

"Silica! Lizbeth!" Sonic running towards the two

Sonic ran towards both Silica and Lizbeth hugs both of them. Silica and Lizbeth both hug Sonic soon after.

"Hello, Sonic! It's great to see you again." Silica said

"Did you really miss us that much? Also, very nice armour you're wearing. How much for a trade?" Lizbeth said

"This armour isn't for sale. Plus, I didn't think I'll ever see you two again." Sonic said

The three-stop hugging soon after.

"It's good to see you two! I was worried you might to make it."

As soon as we received word from Kikuoka, we rushed over!"

"We wouldn't miss for the world!" Lizbeth said

"I don't see Leafa or Sinon yet." Asuna said

"Yeah, they'll be a little longer. They're logging in from the Ocean Turtle." Asuna said

"They went to the Ocean Turtle so we could log in from Roppongi at the same time." Silica said

"Wow, so you four we're all prepared," Sonic said

"Rop... pongi?" Alice said

"Is that the Sacred Tongue?" Eugeo said

"Oh, I'm sorry!"

"Asuna, are they..."

"Asunaaaaa! Soniccccc!"

"That voice..."

"Looks like they made it just in time." Sonic said

"Sorry to keep you waiting!"

"Sorry about that, Asuna."

"Leafa! Shino-non!"

Sinon and Leafa soon land in front of the four. Sonic hugs both Leafa and Sinon simultaneously as the six are finally reunited once again.

"So, where is the other birthday boy?" Sinon said

"Kirito is being kept somewhere safe." Alice said

"Okay. Listen up, everyone. These two are Kirito and Sonic's friends from the Underworld, and they'll be helping too." Asuna said

"My name's Eugeo." Eugeo introducing himself

"And I am Alice Synthesis Thirty. I will show you the way to where Kirito is being kept." Alice said

"Kirito..." Leafa said

"Don't worry, Leafa. He'll be back on his feet in no time." Sinon said

"No, it's not that. I was so scared to have seen him hurt or unwell... but actually being here, most of that worry has kind of... faded away." Leafa said

"I feel you, Leafa. It's hard to be scared when he just looks like he's sleeping." Lizbeth said

"True. And I mean, when is he NOT sleeping?" Sinon said

"Classic Kirito move there. However, I do sleep a lot as well." Sonic said

"Hehe."

"What is it?"

"Oh, it's just funny how the Kirito from outside sounds like the exact same guy. He spent more time asleep than awake here too." Eugeo said

"I have to find some sort of way to wake him up when he does sleep during important things." Sonic said

"He did almost fall asleep on a small ledge while we were climbing the Cathedral wall." Alice said

"I had to carry you instead when he did." Sonic said

"No matter where he goes, Kirito will always be Kirito." Asuna said

"Heavens above. Are none of you capable of taking this seriously? Asuna. tell us, what is the procedure for initiating Kirito's recovery?" Cardinal said

"We all touch him." Asuna said

"Well that was... an anticlimactic plan. I expected something like, using a new skill or something..." Sonic said

"Is that all?"

"Then focus your mind on him. The transfer will begin, and then he should wake up." Asuna said

"Then let us begin. Everyone put out your hands." Cardinal said

"Don't forget your hand, Cardinal." Eugeo said

"I wouldn't be of any assistance. Kirito, Sonic, and I were only together for a few hours." Cardinal said

"My time with him was hardly any longer than yours." Alice said

"Yeah, come on. We wouldn't have made it here without your guidance. That means you're important to him, and he'll need your memories to recover too." Eugeo said

"Hmph... As you wish. Now, Kirito. How long do you plan to stay asleep?" Cardinal said

"Nothing... again..." Sonic taking a deep breath in disappointment

"What's wrong, Kirito? Why won't you wake up?" Eugeo said

"Perhaps additional memories are required." Cardinal said,

"is it possible to summon more people who are close to him?" Alice asks

"Probably not... There's only a limited number of STL... The tools we need to travel to this world." Asuna said

"There are two STL machines in Roppongi, which me ad Liz are using." Silica said

"And the five on the Ocean Turtle, which are being used by Kirito, Asuna, Sonic, Sinon, and I..." Leafa said

"What now?"

"All I know is Mr. Higa was supposed to contact us once Kirito recovers..." Asuna said

"Contact us how?" Lizbeth said

"Apparently they can send direct transmissions through the STL." Asuna said

"All we can do is wait, I guess." Sinon said

Sonic get's up from Kirito and kicks his helmet in annoyance.

"All of this for nothing? Nothing?!" Sonic annoyed

"Calm down, Sonic... I'm sure there are other ways to heal Kirito from this." Eugeo said

"I feel so helpless and I hate it." Lizbeth said

All of a sudden, an earthquake began to shake the whole building.

"W-What's happening?" Sonic looking around

"What is it?" Sinon said

"It would seem there is a bit of a commotion. The news of the Administrator's death may have recahed the friars." Cardinal said

"We have ordered the Pontifex's death be kept quiet. That cannot be it. In all likelihood, the knights have begun assembling sentries and guards, training them in preparation for the war against the forces of darkness." Alice said

"Okay, listen up, everyone. I've gotten in contact with Mr. Higa. So, um... We don't have enough people here to treat Kirito after all. It sounds like what we need is more people close to Kirito from the Underworld." Asuna said

"Why residents of the Underworld?" Alice said

"Mr. Higa, cna you explain? Yes... I suppose so... Alright. Both Kirito and Sonic's experiences in the Underworld have made them change and grow, which is why we need people who knew both of them here as well. Do you have any suggestions, Alice, Eugeo? Especially you, Sonic, do you remember anyone in your time here in the Underworld?" Asuna said

"The Integrity Knights who fought Kirito and Sonic could potentially be of use..." Alice said

"Let's see... there's Ronie and These, and then maybe Sortiliena." Eugeo said

"Oh yea, I totally forgot about those three. My apologies you three." Sonic said

"We should have them brought here immediately." Alice said

"Agreed."

"Sounds good to me." Sonic said

"H-Hold up! Mr. Higa's saying something... Huh? Yes... Someone seems to be trying to create a link with Kirito's soul. It's only an attempt right now, as they're not in physical contact... but we're not sure if we want to allow the connection, not knowing who it is." Asuna said

"What else do we know about them?" Alice said

"Um, they're at the very apex of this building."

"You mean the top floor? There shouldn't be anyone there..." Eugeo said

"No, above that."

"Above... the top floor?"

"Around the roof, it looks like?" Asuna said

"Impossible..."

"The only one that has a stronger connection link with Kirito is me. But that didn't work either. Who could it possibly be?" Sonic said

"Asuna, please let them link with Kirito."

"Is this someone we can trust?"

"Her name is Alice Zuberg," Eugeo said

"Alice?"

"Not myself, but rather the memories that were stolen from me," Alice said

"She was friends with Kirito when we were kids. There's no one in the Underworld who knows Kirito than her." Eugeo said

"Alright. Mr. Higa, you can let the connection request from Alice Zuberg through."

"Wait, if Alice Zuberg and I have stronger connections towards Kirito. Does that give us the chance he could be healed once again just by the two of us?" Sonic said

"That's certainly a possibility," Lizbeth said

"Try it. You and Alice Zuberg." Alice said

"Alright, let's try this again," Sonic said

Sonic kneels, holds onto Kirito's hand, looks at Kirito, and closes his eye slowly as everything turns white.

"Where... am I? What am I- What is "Kirito" supposed to do here? I don't know... I don't know what this "Kirito" would..."

Kirito turn's around and notices a young Alice and a Sonic Kirito used to remember seeing for the first time standing right behind him.

"?!"

"The Kirito I know wouldn't be trading his knees and waiting for help to come." Alice Zuberg said

"And the Kirito I know would've had a plan by now and get out of a situation like this," Sonic said

"You're... Alice and... Sonic..."

"It's nice to see you again." Alice Zuberg said

"Nice to see you again buddy," Sonic said

"Why are you two?"

"Because I couldn't stand to watch you sitting on your thumbs any longer. Everyone's calling for you... Aren't you going to answer?" Alice said

"I and the rest are waiting for a response from you," Sonic said

"I don't know what I should do."

"They're waiting for you, Kirito."

"Are... Are they, though? If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have been taken away, Alice. Eugeo would have been happy, and the other Alice wouldn't have had to suffer. I'm honestly not that great of a person. I screw up more than I do right."

Alice and Sonic look at each other.

"Look, Kirito, you can't be blaming everything on yourself all the time and mainly focus on the downs mostly. But look at you, you also did a lot of good things as well, I know it's true because I seen you done good things with my own eyes." Sonic said

"Kirito, what you just said may be true, but I always had fun with you. Eugeo's so much stronger because of you, and the other me uncovered the truth. As Sonic just said, you've done plenty of good too. No one has to be perfect. You're allowed to make mistakes. All your friends just want to see you again. Do you?"

"It will, I'll make it happen."

Moments later, Kirito and Sonic faded away at the same time.

"So long, Kirito. It was nice seeing you."

"Same. I'll be back before you know it."

"Something is not right," Cardinal said

"It'll be fine, Cardinal. Kirito and Sonic will be back with us soon." Eugeo said

"In the Central Cathedral, I mean."

"Are you referring to the commotion from earlier?" Alice said

"Yes. What on Terraria..."

Moments later, the Cathedral began to shake again.

"What the-?!"

"Are these..."

"Tree roots?"

"Cardinal!"

"Until we can enter,ine the cause, we would do best to evacuate. Asuna! How much longer?!" Cardinal said

"Not long... the connection was a success, so any second now!" Asuna said

"It's not safe here. Help me carry Kirito, Asuna." Eugeo said

"Sounds like a plan. But what about, Sonic?" Asuna said

"I'll carry him." Lizbeth said

As soon as you see the door open, run!" Cardinal said

"How long are you going to keep us waiting, you two?"

"You've slept long enough!" Alice said

"Please, come back to us you two," Asuna begged

Moments later, the Cathedral began to collapse as tree roots began to cover the room.

"Watch out for roots! They could attack from anywhere!" Alice said

Asuna and Eugeo were trying their best to get Kirito out as the roots appeared around them. Lizbeth was also carrying Sonic behind her back and holding his helmet as well.

"A root is approaching! Evade it!"

A root appears right on top of Eugeo, Kirito, and Asuna.

"Asuna! Eugeo!"

Moments later, Kirito and Sonic both slash their swords at the root.

"Honestly... That took far too long!" Alice said

"Sorry to keep you waiting," Kirito said

"Hope I didn't leave for too long," Sonic said

"Kirito! Sonic!"

"Oh my god, Kirito! Sonic!"

"Good to have you back."

"What's going on here, Cardinal?" Kirito said

"No time to explain. Run!"

Soon, everyone ran inside the door Cardinal summoned and into the library once again.

"We did it... We escaped." Eugeo said

"Yeah."

"I leave for a few minutes and this is what happens..." Sonic said

"I wonder what it looks like from outside," Eugeo said

Back at the Cathedral, the whole tower was swallowed up by a giant tree root around it as villagers watched in horror. However, moments later, more tree roots grew out and smash towards the ground around the Cathedral. Kirito, Sonic, and Cardinal all watch from below in complete shock.

"Oh my god. What is happening." Sonic said

"What the hell is that?" Kirito said

"The heavens only know. It does not appear to be an attack from the Dark Territory..." Cardinal said

"Kirito! Sonic!" Leafa shouted

Leafaf ran towards both Kirito and Sonic and hugs both of them.

"Sugu..."

"Whoa there, everything's fine." Sonic said

"Oh, thank goodness. I was so scared you wouldn't wake up!" Leafa said

"Sorry to worry you like that." Kirito said

"When are you NOT worrying at least half of us?" Sinon said

"That's Kirito for you." Sonic said

"Sinon..."

"Still. I'm glad you're okay." Sinon said

"We're glad to have you back," Sonic said

"They all came here for Sonic and I..."

"Kirito..."

"Asuna..."

"You don't seem surprised to see us."

"I heard your voices while I was out." Kirito said

"Oh... You look a little more mature now. I guess two years will do that to you." Asuna said

"Has it really been twos years now? I kept losing track on time." Sonic said

"I'm so sorry, Asuna."

"I'm more concerned about that tree right now," Kirito said

"Can I just use one of my skills to destroy the tree right now? It seems easier." Sonic said

"Both your selflessness never ceases to amaze me. I will have to investigate the tree. You use that time to contact the outside."

"Oh right. I was in the middle of talking to Kikuoka when..."

"I'm on the line with Mr. Higa right now, if you want to talk to him. Mr. Higa, Kirito has woken up... Mr. Higa?" Asuna said

"I seem to have lost connection. It was just fine before that tree appeared..." Asuna said

"Is that plan is to kill ourselves? Absolutely not." Sonic said

"That doesn't sound like a good idea." Lizbeth said

"Th-That sounds kinda dangerous..." Eugeo said

"In that case, I'll go by myself. everyone else, search for the Integrity Knights." Cardinal said

"No, I'm coming too." Kirito said

"Same as me." Sonic said

"You two..."

"You have a reason for bringing us, right?"

"Yes. I believe you might be..."

"Then let's get going." Kirito said

"Are you... But no... It's not possible..."

"Cardinal, what exactly are you..."

"Kirito, Sonic, can't you feel it? The immense swirling will wrap around that tree." Cardinal said

"What does she mean?" Alice said

"The... Administrator..."

"Wh-What are you talking about?"

"You're right. I do feel her mind and will... coming from that tree." Kirito said

"Impossible..." Sonic said

"Her terrifying attachment to life is burned into the tree itself," Cardinal said

"But we defeated the Administrator! Didn't we?!" Alice said

"Yeah, I thought so. Sonic and I struck her down with our own hands." Kirito said

"So long as her will remains, the Administrator lives on this world. I cannot fathom how or why she created that tree, however."

"Eugeo?"

"If the Administrator captured Alice again..." Eugeo said

"We'll get her back again," Kirito said

'And we will." Sonic said

:...Right."

"To do that, we'll have t get back to the top floor," Kirito said

"You could use flying arts to get directly to the top, but the tree blocks it."

"A tree filled with the Administrator's will... Let's see if swords or arts work." Kirito said

"That is a sound plan," Cardinal said

"Um... Sorry to interrupt, Kirito, but do you have a second?" Asuna asks

"We're having trouble following all this stuff about the Underworld..." Lizbeth said

"What exactly is this "Administrator" you keep talking about?" Silica said

"Yes. I was relieved to hear that you and the others were as well." Alice said

"It's a miracle that no one was killed. And that includes you three." Bercouli looking at Kirito, Sonic, and Eugeo

"Looks like death is scared to come after me, haha." Sonic joking while removing his helmet off

"Y-Yeah..."

"Yeah. I'm glad everyone's alright." Kirito said

"..."

"Eldrie, you don't look so pleased." Bercouli taking notice of Eldrie

"I wouldn't say that, sir..."

"You may have been in the right, but you broke the law and went against the Church. I'm sure there are many knights who don't approve of you three..." Bercouli said

"Where I have heard that before? But there has to a decision for every outcome..." Sonic scratching his head

"We understand. But we still had to do what we thought was right." Kirito said

"Right. I feel the same way."

"I'm glad you understand. You've got Alice on your side, I see. Winning over the others shouldn't be hard. There are some Knights you haven't met yet, in fact. Why don't I introduce you? Hey, Shetya! Renly!"

"Sheyta Synthesis Twelve."

"I'm Kirito. nice to meet you." Kirito introducing himself

"I'm Sonic. Sonic The Hedgehog. It's great to meet other fearless people fighting for whats right." Sonic introducing himself

"Yes."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"The quiet type, maybe? But it's our first meeting, so I should say something. On the second thought, maybe it's better not to push her."

"Is it true you both took down the Pontifex?" Sheyta said

"Huh? Uh, yeah." Kirito responded

"That will correct," Sonic said

Sheyta looks at Sonic with an emotionless expression stare and looks away soon after.

"Why was she looking at me like that? Is it because I look different from anyone else?" Sonic thought

"She's one the Integrity Knights who was frozen in the Senate. We were both frozen, but the commands used on Sheyta were a bit different. We managed to wake her up, but the others went up to the sky with that tree." Bercouli said

"I see..."

"And this is..."

"Renly Synthesis Twenty-Seven." Renly introducing himself

"A pleasure. I'm Kirito." Kirito introducing himself

"Sonic. Sonic The Hedgehog. Nice meeting Renly." Sonic introducing himself

"Huh... Something about this guy..."

"Renly was frozen like Sheyta, but seems Chudelkin woke him up. He was probably preparing more Integrity Knights to fight you three." Bercouli said

"But by the time I awakened completely, the Pontifex had already passed away," Renly said

"Who's this little kid?" Bercouli looking at Cardinal

"I expected a more respectful greeting from you, Bercouli Synthesis One." Cardinal said

"No way, you? You're... the second Pontifex?"

"And you could afford a bit more consideration to the position I'm in." Cardinal said

"Your... position?" Beroculi said

"You've kept the Administrator's death from all but those assembled here, correct?"

"Yes. We've said she's gone into a deep sleep." Bercouli said

"Then I shouldn't be called the Pontifex. There cannot be two with the same title."

"Oh... You have a point."

"So for now, you ought to call me the "acting Pontifex." Cardinal said

"Are you satisfied with that title?" Bercouli said

"I don't mind. I have no great attachment to such things, unlike my predecessor." Cardinal said

"Looks like introductions are finally taken care of." Kirito said

"Then let's discuss the current situation. I speak, of course, of that giant tree." Bercouli said

"The Cathedral Cedar..."

"Cathedral Cedar? You mean the big tree?"

"Right. We went up close to see it." Kirito said

"Did you now? Then tell me, please... What did you learn about the Cathderal Cedar?" Bercouli said

"If it's so difficult to damage it, what are we supposed to do?" Fanatio asks

"If they were riding on a dragon, doesn't that mean they're an Integrity Knight?" Kirito said

"I mean, only the Integrity Knights are allowed to use a dragon, right?" Sonic said

"No, all the Integrity Knights are here, so it had to be someone even I don't know." Bercouli said

"it's hard to imagine someone stealing the dragons that only Integrity Knights ride." Kirito said

"We'll deal with that later. first, we must calm the townsfolk. Will you two help us?" Bercouli said

"Yeah, of course." Kirito said

"Let's calm the town and then we can continue our plans with dealing with this situation, literally above us." Sonic said

"Alright, time to get serious." Sonic putting his helmet back on

*380/05 Central Cathedral*

"Eugeo, Sonic, and I broke a taboo while training and are sent to Central Cathedral. Sonic and I then face the Administrator with Alicer, who lost her memory but was now a Knight. We reached out to Eugeo who had transformed himself into a sword to fight her alone. With our combined powers, we defeated the Administrator in a gruelling battle. After, the Cathedral Cedar covers the Cathedral and separates the top floors. We also learn that the Administrator's Incarnation engulfed the Cathderal Cedar. Meanwhile, numerous beasts are sighted at Sothercrois. We go to investigate."

*Later*

"Hey, Eugeo! Alice!" Kirito shouted

"Sorry for waiting for us!" Sonic shouted

Eugeo and Alice turn around and watch as Kirito and Sonic ran towards them.

"You are rather late you two!" Alice said

"Yeah... If you'd been any later, we were going to leave you behind!" Eugeo said

"Sorry! Sorry! But I know you two would ever actually leave us behind." Kirito said

"We know you two so well. So we wouldn't be that worried." Sonic said

"Unbelievable..."

"Anyway, let's get going."

Eugeo and Alice were about to walk till Kirito stops them.

"Oh, hold up!"

"We need to show you something." Sonic said

Moments later, Kirito and Sonic fist-bumped each other right in front of Alice and Eugeo.

"What is it?" Alice said

"Let's promise each other one more time." Kirito said

"That our friendship will never end." Sonic said

"Good idea... the four of us really are meant to be together." Eugeo fist-bumping with the other two as well

"Yes. And we're starting over right now." Kirito said

"Come on, Alice."

Alice slowly raises her fist and smiles at the three of them.

"Alright... I'll promise." Alice fisting bumping the three as well

"Okay, then here we go... From birth until death, we four will be together. Nothing can separate us!" Kirito said

"That's a promise, Kirito! Sonic! Alice!"

"Yeah-"

"Yeah-"

"Yeah-"

Moments later, the four all raise their arms up towards the sky and giggled together as all four of them began heading out.
