Hello, Hello, HELLOOOOO. It's been a very long time. I have lots of writing to do and some editing that needs done in the first few chapters of this story. Life has had lots of challenges and I want to say thank you for all the comments and reviews over the past years while this story sat. I hope you enjoy the small edits to the previous chapters and the continuation to come.
A refresher for some of you who pick up here on chapter four: the chunin exams are going on in the hidden leaf village. Team seven is participating. Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke have managed to pass the written part and retrieved both their heaven and earth scrolls and are about to start the preliminary rounds. News of Orochimaru is starting to trickle through the higher ranks of the leaf village. This chapter will mostly be a flash back as Jiraiya travels to the leaf village. I will be pulling a lot of words directly from the show SO IM STATING HERE I OWN NOTHING. This is my interpretation of the past and my wants for the Tsunade/Jiraiya love story in my head. Happy reading and let me know what you think!
Chapter 4
Thoughts from the past
Jiraiya back peddled as fast as his feet could move. His arms were up in front of his torso as Tsunade attacked him viscously. Beads of sweet slid down his face and into his eyes. His muscles screamed as Tsunade spun quickly her leg colliding with his side, his arm blocking as much of the blow as he could manage. " CHAAA!" the beautiful blonde let out a frustrated cry as she infused chakra into her legs making Jiraiya slip backwards as he tried to hold himself up against her ridiculous strength.
"AHHHH!" he snarled grabbing a hold of her ankle with his other hand. Tsunade clenched her teeth and kicked off the ground spinning herself around in an attempt to break away from his grip while turning her body so she could land a fist in his face. Before she could he shoved her away hard sending her spinning.
She arched her back in the air landing on her hands and rolling onto her feet breathing hard as she spun to face her opponent. Jiraiya's wild long hair looked even crazier after the intense practice they had been through today. She could see he was growing tired regardless to the smile on his face.
Jiraiya put his hands up in front of him ready for an attack. He gritted his teeth as she came at him. He held his ground till the last minute as Tsunade neared him and at the last minute he dipped down avoiding her blow. Orochimaru and Sarutobi stood on the side line watching with anticipation.
Tsunade pivoted and lost her balance trying to catch him. Her fingers gripped his shirt as he turned to face her and they both fell back, Jiraiya's back hitting the ground and Tsunade falling on top of him. What happened next silenced everyone. Tsunade's face banged into Jiraiya's, their lips met in an oh so unconventional way. Jiraiya's eyes widened as her teeth clacked against his, her lips brushing his own for four of the longest seconds of his life.
As she pushed herself up with her hands he blinked up at her confused. He couldn't tell if the red on her face was a blush or if it was a fierce anger he had awoken inside the temperamental young lady.
"I'm sorry! Jiraiya screamed fear fill him as he pulled his hands up over his face assuming the worst.
"You Idiot!" Tsunade said her anger coming from the fact that he was expecting to get pummeled when her initial blush was really from her embarrassment of the situation as a whole. Ever since Jiraiya had returned from Mount Myoboku she had been struggling with her emotions towards him and now this, In front of her sensei and team mate.
Jiraiya crab walked backwards as she pulled her fist back trying to get away from the beating he knew he was about to get.
"Whoa! Calm down killer!" Sarutobi grabbed Jiraiya up off the ground and stood him up while moving between the two ninja. "This time I think we can all agree this was an accident and… this match should be over?" He laughed nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
Jiraiya nodded taking several steps backwards. "It was I swear!"
Tsunade's looked at him, her eyes locking on his full lips for a split second before she looked down at the ground. Her stomach grew warm with excitement. She spun on her heal and turned stomping away clenching her fists. "Fine, I'm leaving."
Jiraiya, Orochimaru and their sensei stood watching the final member of their team walk away, "well you're a dead man," Orochimaru said in an amused and cool tone as he brushed past Jiraiya.
The white haired Shinobi gulped uncomfortably, "I think your right. If I go missing in the next few days… you know what happened." His shoulders fell and he let his head hang sighing.
Sarutobi laughed and clapped a hand on Jiraiya's shoulder," now now. It was all an accident. I don't think you have anything to worry about. If you ask me… I think she didn't mind it as much as she let on…" Jiraiya looked up at Sarutobi confused, "but I could be wrong. So be on your toes and uh… maybe don't bring it up unless she does. You know?" Leaving jiraiya standing on the training field alone.
What in the world had happened? He let his feet drop from under him and lay back on the ground sprawling out and looking up at the sky groaning. Ever since the first time they set foot on this field and he saw Tsunade. All he had wanted was to make her see him, to be strong and sweep her off her feet and make her see he was the best guy for her. He would do anything to see her happy. He reached a hand up and touched his lips. He had never imagined that his first kiss would be like that…
Tsunade stripped off her clothes and turned on the shower in her room. She signed and stepped under the warm flow of water. Pulling the shower curtain closed she leaned her head back letting the water run over her face and soak her long blonde hair. Tsunade closed her eyes and brought her hand up to her lips tracing them. His lips had been on hers. Jiraiya's. She had always fought her natural feelings for the idiot.
Since he had come back they had been playing these awkward games with each other. Everything could be okay and his hand would brush hers or he would get too close or he got hurt and she had to get close enough to him to catch is smell. Not knowing how to deal with the effect he had on her she was forced to do the only thing she knew to do with him and called him and idiot or annoying in an attempt to deflect her feelings. Feeling she had never had for anyone before. She was sixteen and never imagined she would feel such a pull to someone. Since she was 12 she had been fighting beside Jiraiya. They had been through a lot together.
As the water washed over her she thought about the mission they had went on a few weeks back. Enemies had opened fire on them and a stray arrow had embedded itself in Jiraiya's shoulder. She had removed it and healed it enough to stop the bleeding. She couldn't only think about the rippling muscles that decorated his back as she had wrapped it up. She remembered the feel of his soft sun kissed skin as her fingers brushed across it. She had been terrified when he got hurt but she couldn't help but to wonder what if would be like for those strong arms of his to wrap around her body and hold her close.
Tsunade groaned as she ran her hands over her wet breasts and leaned against the showers tile wall. She shut her eyes tight and imagined Jiraiya's hands and lips all over her body touching, kissing and caressing. She reached her right hand down between her legs. She slid two fingers in between her wet folds and gasped as she began to touch herself allowing her imagination to get away from her. She thought of all the things she dreamed of the handsome, spiky haired Shinobi doing to her, "Jiraiya," she moaned his name as she reached her climax shivering.
Across town, Jiraiya turned the key in the door to his apartment. He sneezed as he stepped inside, "hm, someone must be talking about me," he chuckled to himself and closed the door tossing his keys on the kitchen counter. Yawning Jiraiya turned on his kettle and walked to his cupboard and grabbed a cup of instant ramen.
REAL TIME.
Jiraiya walked slowly through the outskirts of town as he made his way north east through the hidden valley village towards konohagukure no Sato. A small messenger frog named Kosuke sat on his shoulder briefing him on the events that had occurred during the second stage of the exams and Kakashi's teams encounter with Orochimaru.
Over the years Kakashi had sent him many messages about the boy and his progress. He was always grateful for Kakashi's communications. The boy had always struggled with bonding to people after he lost so many important people in his life. He was glad that he still reached out to him. It was nice to always have an in to the village as well. 'Orochimaru…' Jiraiya thought his brows pulled together in deep thought as he walked along.
"You want me to tell him you're on your way boss?" the little red toad asked as he readjusted his goggles around his neck.
"No," Jiraiya said shaking his head. "No, I don't need them all knowing I'm coming. I just want to check in on Naruto. I've given up on Orochimaru. I don't want to be involved in all the antics."
"You got it boss. Catch you later then." Kosuke said before disappearing in a small cloud of smoke.
Jiraiya's fingers tightened around his book bag straps as he thought over all the information he had just been given. He couldn't understand why Sarutobi had put Naruto with the Uchiha boy. Didn't he know that would put the boy in more danger? Both of them in fact… he shook his head and bit the inside of his mouth. At least he had a lot to think about on his two days of traveling.
Soooooo? What do you think? Be brutal. The flash back continues in the next chapters and it will come in waves till the end.
