In the planes of Heaven, the Takamagahara, Amaterasu sat on the floor with her two brothers, Tsukuyomi, and Susanoo around the vast table prepared for the negotiations to take place between her faction, the Devils of the Christian faction, and the One-armed Dragon.

She could not help but look towards her brother, Susanoo who looked distinctly uncomfortable in the presence of his siblings. After all, even though their father had left this universe behind for unknown parts, the Divine banishment he had left on Susanoo was still in effect, even if it was not as powerful as it once was, thus resulting in the God of Storms to feel distinctly uncomfortable while staying in Takamagahara.

If it were not for the fact that the Infamous Dragon was going to appear at the negotiation table for reasons unknown, her brother would never have bothered to return home anytime soon. Even when banished, he still cared greatly for his siblings and he would not let a mere banishment stop him from protecting them from an infamous being whose name has started to spread far and wide in the recent years.

Amaterasu herself would have absolutely refused the dragon entry into Takamagahara under any circumstances if it were not for the fact that her beloved avatar, Yasaka, looked up to that creature as a father figure after the death of her family during the final days of the Great War between the three factions of Christianity. Something that Amaterasu has yet to forgive the Christian factions for to this day, that, and the fact that he was one of few supernatural creatures that had decided to support the Shinto when the Devils had slaughtered the Nekomata race while also pulling strings in the supernatural communities so that no other faction would actually help them fight against the Devils for this transgressions. The Hindu faction and the Norse faction, or specifically, Odin, being the other few exceptions to the rule when the Hindu Trinity had declared that no Devil would ever be allowed to set foot in India ever again and also imposed a ban so that no Indian would ever be allowed to become a Devil, while Odin had cut off most of the trade with the Devils which caused a lot of rare resources that were essential for the Devils to become scarce. Two major blows in the form of massive population in case of India and massive resource loss in the form of Odin's treasury.

She was brought out of her musing when she sensed the gate to Takamagahara being opened from the mortal realm followed by her servants escorting two of the four devil kings into her sanctuary. She could already sense their demonic power taint her immortal plain but she was helpless to do anything since it was the Dragon that had said to organize the meeting in Takamagahara and as powerful as she was, she did not wish to fight against that monstrosity whose power continues to grow by the day. She could not help but feel that this was him punishing her for her negligence when it came to Kurama's disappearance.

She never did like that brat and never approved of his union with Yasaka, it was only the dragon's protection that allowed him to wed her avatar. When the Devils had used an ancient Greek relic from the time before the Olympians had come into existence to send Kurama into the Dimension Gap, she would not deny that she had felt a little bit happy that her precious girl would not have to tolerate the presence of such an unworthy man, but when she felt her daughter's grief after she heard the news, she had tried to send a few minor gods into the Dimension gap to find that stupid fox, but her attempts were continuously thwarted by the Apocalypse Dragon who was unusually overprotective of the Dimension Gap, as if he was afraid that something from beyond the Gap would make its way into this universe. The One-Armed dragon had never truly stopped being suspicious of her ever since, suspecting that she had joined hands with the Devils to get rid of Kurama.

Amaterasu could not help but snort at that thought. As if she would need the help of the Devils to take out that stupid brat that clung to her daughter, but she could not fault the Dragon for his thought process. She had personally witnessed just how found of Yasaka and Kurama the One-Armed Dragon was, and if there was anything she could respect about that dragon, it was his love for the children he had taken under his wing. Any parent who had suddenly lost their child would logically suspect those that hated their children in the first place, but just because she accepted his reasoning does not mean that she would stay quiet.

She was definitely going to give a piece of her mind to that stupid dragon once this meeting was over, consequences be damned.

The two Devil Kings walked in front of her and gave a light bow before taking a seat directly opposed to her.

"I thank you for this opportunity, Amaterasu-sama," The Crimson Satan said with a smile while his companion had a childlike expression of happiness on her face. Something that would not fool her one bit.

She had seen the ugliness that lies beneath the human facade that the four Devil Kings like to wear and she could say with confidence that not even the image of their mother during her time imprisoned in Yomi had disgusted her as much as watching the true form of these creatures.

"We welcome you to our home, Devil, although it was not by my choice, let it not be said that Takamagahara did not have manners and lacks hospitality."

The face of the Crimson Satan lost a little of its friendliness while the Childishness slipped from the face of the Leviathan. But before the two could say anything, a gargantuan tear in reality opened directly to the side of the table. The Shinto grew tense but remained seated when they recognized the presence, but the Devils started to sweat bullets in nervousness as a single being exited the tear which disappeared from existence.

His usual brown cloak that he wore for the past few centuries was now gone, in its place was a simple black shirt and black pants held by a simple belt. The sleeve of his left hand left to float in the air showing the lack of said limb while he used magic to cover up his tribal markings on his skin.

Overall, he would not look out of place if he were to walk among the usual crowds of humans.

"Looks like all of you idiots have arrived before me. No matter, we will now begin the meeting" He said and unceremoniously used his power to conjure a massive stone throne and sat upon it, being extremely rude towards both the Shinto gods and the Devils who could only swallow their pride and begin negotiations.

(POV MC)

I could not put off the sneer from my face as I watched the twitching faces of both the Shinto and the Devils.

But there was a reason why I was behaving in a way befitting of the old me. I had learned long ago that the only way to make the stupid gods of this world to see reason is to exert my own power on them and make them realize that they are beneath me, hence making them swallow their massive ego and to truly start taking things seriously.

It could be said that the pride that these gods had in themselves was much worse than that of the Dragons from my old world, but the gods were skillful enough to hide their pride behind pretty words and actions while the Dragons openly showed it to the world.

Watching the two sides negotiate, I could not help but think back to why I had originally decided to join this meeting in the first place.

(Flashback)

It was when YHWH had begun to fade from existence that he had told me and the four Angels, Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael, about what had truly transpired before his confrontation with the Two Heavenly Dragons.

When he had sent the visions of the creature known as Trihexa to his four angels and me, he was forced to remove the visions promptly from his children because of the adverse effect it had on them at the sheer scope of the creature. Michael had nearly used a light spear to kill himself, Gabriel's wings had started to turn black as her face contorted in horror, Uriel nearly went insane and Raphael did go insane and started to attack everything in his surroundings. It was only when YHWH had erased their memory of the vision that they calmed down and slept with their heads in their father's laps who watched with a content smile as he started to fade from existence.

Before fading, he spoke a few words with me.

"To have been able to keep yourself in control even after witnessing the monster that nearly drove my children insane and had caused even me to feel fear, I cannot even begin to imagine the horrors you must have witnessed in your life, my friend."

A true statement if there ever was one.

The creature, while horrifying, was nowhere near the title of being number one on my list, that honor belonged to the abomination that Zeref had created during his early days of being an immortal in hopes of ending his life. That monstrous creature he had created using the forbidden magic he stole from the Nrivit combined with the Etherious body he had created using corpses of a hundred dragons was something that was able to give me a run for my money but I was able to destroy it after a long battle. Zeref had also given up on that creature when he realized that the beast would not be able to kill him and had started his work to revive his dead brother who would end up becoming the Dragon Slayer that had killed me.

"Before I fade away, I have one last request, my friend. If you can, please try to find a way to end this beast for good, I realize that what I ask of you is something too great to be called a request, but I no longer have the time to give anyone else this burden, please, find a way to end that beast and make sure that my children and Humanity would continue to exist even after my seals eventually fail in containing Trihexa."

(Flashback end)

On that day, my very first promise on this world was made and I took my first steps towards redemption.

Ever since then, I had tried to find ways to put down that beast, in my quest, I had found and learned about many interesting things that I doubt even the Gods of today even remember ever existing. From forgotten forms of magic to ancient relics of primordial creatures. But to this day, I have failed to find a way to permanently put down that creature.

While the idea of simply consuming the beast's power and soul had briefly crossed my mind, the visions given to me by YHWH was still fresh in my mind and I doubt even the most purest of creatures in existence would ever be able to resist the sheer impulse of destruction that seems to have been woven into the being's soul, let alone a tainted soul like mine that had once been obsessed with the same goal as that creature.

I fear that if I tried to consume its power, I would once again descend into madness and Acnalogia would once more roam the world. That is something I cannot allow to happen.

That was the reason why I had been trying to integrate into the Supernatural world's politics as much as I can in hopes that, when the day came, I would be able to have at least a large chunk of the factions of this world by my side to fight that beast. Even if it means I had to deal with Immature Gods and troublemaking Devils.

"Then it is settled, The Shinto would give the Devils rule over Kuoh town while the Devils will grant the Shinto access to the rare metals and other resources from the Underworld at half the price as we usually sell them at for the next five centuries."

My concentration returned to the meeting when I heard the jovial tone of the Crimson Satan. I had to put much effort into masking my dislike from reaching my eyes and cause an issue right now.

On one hand, my Human side knew for a fact that Sirzechs had nothing to do with the actions of the Noble families who were responsible for the disappearance of Kurama, but my Dragon side could not help but blame him for his lack of control over his own kind as a leader which had caused the disappearance of someone that I thought of as my own son ever since I had rescued him and Yasaka from the battlefield of the Great War.

"Since the Shinto faction no longer has any problem with our presence in the human world, does Bahamut-sama have anything to add to this meeting?" he turned towards me with his words, barely containing the glee in his eyes at having singled out the fact that I had not contributed anything to the meeting since the beginning.

Really, it took a lot out of me not to just incinerate him where he sat.

"While I had originally wanted to talk about a few things in this meeting, they can be discussed at a later date. Right now, I had a few questions that need to be answered by you, Devil." I said as I leaned forward from my throne.

Watching Sirzechs exchange looks with Serafall with barely contained caution in their eyes was something that brought a little bit of glee to my Dragon side. With a nod from Sirzechs, I started speaking again.

"First things first. Have you people managed to gather all of the King pieces from the Old Maoh faction?"

Immediately, Sirzechs's back became straight as his expression became neutral from his previously smiling face.

"How do you know-"

Before he would continue speaking I extended my hand as my Requip space opened and deposited a crimson chess piece in my hand.

I promptly threw the blood-stained King Piece on his face which he caught with wide eyes.

"That thing was being used by a kid that called himself Arthrog Marbas. He demanded that I become his servant, if not, he would use his newfound power to attack Kyoto and kill their leader. As you can already guess, I was not amused with his joke, so I dug into his very soul and retrieved that piece followed by destroying him with Holy magic."

Sirzechs had a blank look on his face before he spoke again.

"This is the second time you have eradicated one of the seventy-two pillars, Bahamut-sama. First, it was the Naberius now it is the Marbas. Do I have to worry about you killing off all the 72 pillars in the future?"

"Don't think so highly of yourselves, Devil. Naberius was the primary cause as to why that girl, Kuroka, had to abandon her sister with you and flee the Underworld, he was also someone that held a lot of political power in the Underworld and was actively working to undermine the ruling body of your kind while the Marbas brat was clearly working for the Old Maoh faction if his words about blood superiority and the way he described what he would do to the Leviathan once you four were defeated by his superiors was anything to go by. I would say that I have taken care of your own problem for you, twice now. So I expect you to give me something in return for this or there will be hell to pay" I said as I released a little bit of my power for the intimidation effect.

Sirzechs gave a wry smile and nodded, unable to refute my words.

Good, looks like my words paid off. I desperately need those secret tomes that the Phenex family keeps in their treasury pertaining to how their infinite regeneration works if I am to have a breakthrough in my research on creating a spell to kill Trihexa.

Now that the primary objective is complete, I need to complete the other part of the reason why I was here.

"Sirzechs Lucifer, Serafall Leviathan. While the Shinto may have given you ownership of Kuoh town, you are still only allowed ownership for the next five centuries and are still subjected to some conditions. While the Shinto have made their conditions of never causing harm towards any human being in the town along with other conditions, I will state my own condition even though I know that I have no right to do so. The condition is as such, you will not cause another incident such as the incident that happened last year with that Belial girl and the Church exorcist. You will also make sure that whoever is going to be in charge of that town knows that they are ruling that town under our rules and that even if one rule is broken, our agreement would be void and you Devils will be kicked back to the Underworld by me personally."

The Leviathan suddenly spoke up with a serious face.

"With all due respect, Bahamut-sama, you do not have the right to tell us what to do since it is not your land that we are trading for here but the Shinto factions land, as such we do not have to follow your words"

I said nothing as I simply motioned towards Amaterasu to speak.

"As a matter of fact, Leviathan, Kuoh town may be under the jurisdiction of the Shinto but its true owner is actually Bahamut-sama." She replied as both the devils went slack-jawed at her answer before Sirzechs turned an accusing stare towards me.

"You did this on purpose, didn't you? So that you can get in our way again? Just how many times do we have to apologize and make amends with you to you for what happened with Kurama so that you would stop getting in our way at every turn? What would it take for you to stop messing with the survival of my entire species?"

"Let me stop you right there, Sirzechs, while it is a fact that I have not, and never will, forgive your kind for taking away my son from me, and I will also not deny your accusations of purposefully disrupting the Devil's efforts internationally in my acts of revenge, this particular instance is not one of those attempts. In fact, the land of Kuoh had been under my ownership ever since the Great War had ended and it is ruled by the Shinto only because I could not be bothered with ruling a piece of land and watching over it."

Serafall continued to look at both me and Amaterasu with a dumbfounded look on her face before she spoke towards Amaterasu.

"Why is no one aware of this fact?"

Amaterasu turned away from the looks of the Devils with a neutral face, but if someone were to look closer, they would find that her cheeks were flushed in shame.

"While Bahamut-sama had instructed us not to inform anyone of this fact, we ourselves were not so inclined to telling anyone the truth. How can we face other pantheons without shame if they learned that I was forced to trade a part of my territory to a barbaric creature such as a Dragon for the sake of a favor?"

It was Sirzechs who spoke this time.

"What did you ask for in return?"

"That would be her request to heal me" A voice like that of silk resounded throughout Takamagahara as a figure materialized near the table.

While Amaterasu lived up to her title as a Goddess, the beauty excluded by this new figure was on a completely different spectrum.

The Shinto Trinity straightened their backs in respect while the Devils had a pale face as they recognized just who it was that stood there so nonchalantly.

Gone was her disgusting appearance of a corpse, instead, she was restored to the beautiful form she had when she was still with her husband before the Formation of the Shinto faction.

Her soul which was tainted by madness and evil during her stay in the primordial dimension known as Yomi was purified by my Healing power that could even heal the unhealable wounds of a soul.

Her tainted essence as a primordial now restored with the help of my personal brand of Runic magic that I had used to help her recover.

Amaterasu, Susanoo, and Tsukuyomi bowed in unison and spoke.

"Welcome back, dear mother."

Yes. The primordial being that stood before them was none other than Izanami-no-Mikoto, the wife of Izanagi-no-Kami.

And said primordial being turned towards me and gave a light bow which I returned with respect.

"It had been a long time, Bahamut-sama."

"So it has been, Izanami."

Honestly, she was one of the few level headed deity I had ever interacted with, while she too possessed an ego, it never interfered with her thoughts and behaviors, as such, she had earned my respect for being able to retain a fraction of herself even before I had cured her of the power of Yomi and able to make amends with her adopted children. Even though she knew that the Shinto trinity was not born of her and were the children of her husband alone, she still cared for them like her own.

"Would you be staying in Kyoto this evening?" She asked but was clearly disappointed when I shook my head in negative.

"I need to head back to the Dimension Gap. My research is close to fruition and I cannot afford any more distractions."

She immediately perked up at my words and spoke again.

"Is that true? How long do you think before you are able to succeed in locating him?"

"At the bare minimum, another two years. At maximum, five years."

The look of clear delight on her face would have made even her fellow primordial blush but her joy was understandable.

My research was her only hope of ever seeing her husband again.

Ever since Kurama disappeared into the dimension gap, I had been spending a lot of my time trying to find a way to bring him back.

I knew for a fact that he was not dead due to the fact that I felt his lingering power in the dimension gap leading to a tear in reality that refused to let me pass through it before it collapsed when he had first gone missing. I understood that he was in the same situation as me when I had first arrived in this world and that he was thrown into a different world, so I began my research into ways to open a tear in the dimension gap to locate him alongside my research into getting rid of Trihexa. This was one of the main reasons why I had taken the land of Kuoh from the Shinto. For my research, I needed a land rich in magic power and the only land aside from Kyoto that met my requirements was Kuoh. Since there was no way I was putting Kyoto, and by extension, Yasaka in danger by experimenting in Kyoto, I decided upon Kuoh.

When I had healed Izanami in exchange for Kuoh to be under my ownership for all of eternity, she had learned of my project and asked for my assistance in locating her Husband, Izanagi-no-Kami, who had left through the Dimension Gap in the same way Kurama did when he was depressed after not seeing his wife for countless eons, leaving Takamagahara in the hands of his children he had hoped to arrive at an unknown dimension to have a clean slate and to heal.

I stopped my musing and looked back towards the Devils to find them still pale in fear at the appearance of Izanami.

Of course, the Devils would be afraid. It was not every day you find out that a faction that you have always considered to be your equal had suddenly regained one of its strongest ancestors and had suddenly jumped in power by a massive amount, leaving you behind in the dust and making you look weak.

If someone were to ask me, I would say that this is an appropriate wake-up call towards the Christian faction to stop fighting among themselves and unite together if they are to stand a chance of surviving against the other pantheons of the world.

After all, a pantheon without a God was like a Vault with its door wide open, anyone with sufficient power can easily take advantage of them if they are not careful. It would be a shame to see that faction that YHWH died to preserve end up becoming puppets for other factions across the world.

Now then, since both of my objectives here are complete, I might as well get back to my research.
