This is Gōlaka. Here, the Indo-Iranian nations are a superpower.

Ah, Japan... Here, they've come a VERY long way since WWII...

Here, ACME's about to make a major bust. It'll all start at a block of flats, surrounded by its rivals...where raccoon dogs still pillage the garbage, as if this was a Vancouver suburb.

Atop some blocks, there are sculptures of demons. (A bit foreign, I know; but then, Japan did try to modernize itself, about the mid-late 19th century... Plus, there was that time Italy was their ally in WWII...

(They were also allies in WWI...but then, at least they were the good guys in that fight...)

Among the demons, a sculpture in a cloak crouches, beneath a hood, and watches the streets. Don't breathe easy, though; this bench is no Daredevil...or Elektra...or Echo. She might, though, be a Grey Gargoyle...or a Gorgon. Alas, if only she preferred turning things into stone over throwing shurikens and chakrams. But then, with that said, she's more of a Yukio, isn't she? Ah, but wait; Yukio was a heroine, wasn't she? Or at least, she was a protagonist in both of the X-Men movies she was in; Wolverine and Deadpool 2...

Through the air, high-tech "I-Spheres" hover. They're with ACME...and of Ivan Idea's invention.

Outside the block of flats, a white limo sits parked. It's not what it looks like. It's one of Dee Plomassy's, and with ACME.

Atop other blocks, Korean, Filipino, eastern Washingtonian state, and Singaporean athletes all wait to be deployed. Most of them are Singaporean. They all wear winged harnesses; the wings make them look like angels, when they fly. They're Kim Yoonity's Paraangels...and they all work for ACME. Some of them look more like flying monkeys than angels...

ACME's got Paper Star's quarters surrounded. Soon, she'll have nowhere to run...

Plomassy's bodyguards break down the door, and storm in. Most of them are Russian, English, or British Columbian. Many of them swing flails around, prepared to bop her on the head if she tries to dart beneath them...or if she tries to throw one of her dangerous trademark paper shurikens.

Alas, she's not here. She's given them the slip...

Alas, it turns out she's been expecting them. She's deviously hidden paper star-armed trebuchets. On cue, they launch themselves. They fly across the room, and cause many of Plomassy's bodyguards to swear out loud.

At least the English ones swear in British accents. The British Columbian swearing, alas, is a BIT more decipherable... But then, in moments like these, it's a good thing that writing dialogue isn't my strength.

In the ceiling, a secret panel opens. From it, a motorized scooter falls, hits the floor burning rubber, and speeds through the window...in spite of the bodyguards' desperate attempts to hack the scooter to pieces with their flails. Alas, some of her paper stars have severed the chains that their flails swing from...

The window shatters. Paper Star does acrobatics in mid-air, as she falls...

She lands on a ramp, rolls down it, and shoots off into the night. She's now a rebel on the run.

From the rooftops, the Paraangels are called to arms. Some of them make war cries, as they run across the rooftops, leap, fall, deploy their cybernetic wings, and take off. Most of the ones who make war cries are Yakima...or half-Yakima, even.

Aboard her scooter, Paper Star speeds through the streets. This is just like a James Bond movie...set in Japan. (There are at least two of those that I'm sure of...)

Through the sky, a boomerang-shaped UAV flies, targeting Paper Star. It's one of Idea's. He's named it the Harkness 601. One of Idea's Tasmanian proteges helped create it.

It gets in line behind Paper Star...and starts showering her with sonic blasts. Alas, if Paper Star's ears are hurt by the ordeal, she doesn't react. It does blow off her horned, two-toned wig, though...

As Paper Star speeds, a sidecar meets up with her...and latches itself to her scooter. It's got a dollar sign painted on its side.

One piece at a time, a trebuchet assembles itself atop the sidecar. It aims itself at the Harkness 601, and starts launching chakrams at it.

The chakrams slice both of its wings off...and leave it in a pile of scrap metal in the middle of an alley. As the Harkness 601 falls, it deploys emergency I-Spheres, which evacuate all innocents who're within range of the crash's havoc.

About now, the Paraangels show up. They, too, help rescue innocents from the Harkness 601's crash.

Otherwise, a squadron of them fall in line behind the fleeing Paper Star. With phone-and-cable flails, they take swings at Paper Star. Alas, the VILE henchwoman is fast, and dodges each of their swings. She doesn't have to talk to VILE Agents Myte, Schrival, Tosis, or Fark to know how much of a bench Yoonity's phone-and-cable flails can be.

This gets old fast. So, Paper Star re-arms her sidecar. On her command, it launches many shuriken. They hit the Paraangels in the wings, and send them crashing into the streets. Some of them slice their phone-and-cable flails in two, as they're in mid-swing...

Lucky for Paper Star, she doesn't have to launch very many of these...before all of the others start acting as ambulances to keep their fallen brothers from hurting anyone while "falling from grace." It's too bad a lot of them are Singaporean, and don't take much pride in helping out Japanese folk. Paper Star sure is no Godzilla...even if she does have his fangs.

Through another part of the city, a motorcycle speeds. It makes a lot of noise. Sad; the man who drives it is usually a very peaceful one.

His face is concealed...by the back of a Japanese geisha. She rides in the saddle, right in front of him...facing the stern.

"Don't get any ideas," Agent Ijo, of ACME, warns the driver.

"Never in the mood," Agent Nootix, also of ACME, assures her.

It's bound to happen...and it does. Nootix flies from out of nowhere, and broadsides poor Paper Star's scooter.

Airborne, Paper Star flies down a stepped hill. While airborne, she empties her pockets, and throws every paper star she's got at the enemy, as it keeps chasing her...

The Opera Siren, another one of Idea's inventions, blares loud noise at the stars. For many, it shatters them. Alas, somehow a curve-star rattles through the noise, comes out on the other side, and slices open the Opera Siren where it hurts.

While airborne, one of the east Washingtonian Paraangels fires an arrow, with a longbow. It's showered by paper stars, during its flight...and ripped to splinters mid-flight. This applies to a lot of other arrows the east Washingtonian Paraangels try to shoot at Paper Star.

Three ACME agents arrive, aback flying fur rugs. Seems like they've got more where that comes from. Like eels, fur scarves escape them, and swarm towards the still-airborne Paper Star...

They all ensnare her, and get to work constricting her, as she resists. Alas, she's a fierce one, and resists too much.

She resists so much, that she lets slip her secret: she's not really Paper Star. She's a robotic double. Her head and arms both snap off...revealing broken circuitry and sparks between the severed joints.

About now, Paper Star's dollar sign-branded sidecar is airborne, over a bay. It explodes, while airborne; no loose change or paper money emerges from it. It was all a decoy.

About now, the real Paper Star arrives...aback a giant shuriken. She stands atop a turntable atop it; it spins beneath her.

With it, she rides right over ACME's troops, decapitating most of them. She throws smaller shuriken as she goes along, taking out many Paraangels, I-Spheres, and Fur Riders.

About now, Nootix pulls over. He and Ijo dismount.

In a square, Paper Star lands, and gets back to work defending herself. From all around, Paraangels, I-Spheres, and Fur Riders still attack her. With shurikens, boomerangs, and chakram rings, she takes them all down, like a pesky Japanese mouse, with half-black and half-blonde hair.

On the pavement around them, Ijo helps Nootix draw a diagram. With it, Nootix will summon a miracle remedy from the mystic world.

Nootix clenches his fists, bows his head, and starts chanting. As he chants, the ring before him glows with benevolent white light...

Out and down there, Paper Star keeps slaughtering ACME's best, with the worst of her origami. She's got NO idea what's coming...
