Note: As you can tell by the title, my first idea of a cyber-world story based on an entertainment company will be centered in a 20th Century Fox version of the Serververse. I am aware that Disney has merged with the company, but this story ignores the merger.

I'm unable to begin the story this year but I thought I could show a sneak peek at some things that will be in the story. It's not a well-thought one anyway, but I still want to give those who'd like to see it the general idea of what it would be like, of what I had in mind so far. There's not a whole lot too it though.

Please bare with me if it's not to your liking. It's still not developed all the way, as I've mentioned already. By the way, I don't own the franchises or characters used, except a couple.

At the 20th Century Fox Film Corporation, a custodian/technician, who is a young man named Albert who had just recently graduated high school but isn't popular or well-connected, and couldn't even get a glamorous job. He is there to work on the studio's technological systems, and he is less than happy about it, as despite being a technical expert, he wants something more exciting than this.

When Albert is about to look at something, he spots of a flash drive with the company's logo on it, and there's a little message on the side saying 'Plug me in'. Curious, he plugs it into a spot where flash drives are usually plugged in, and then something unexpected happens: the computer's activated as it starts rapidly glowing and humming. Electricity surges and sparkles everywhere, and then, in a flash, the young man disappears from sight.

The next thing you know, Albert appears in a huge virtual room, and though surprised, he was also amazed as he saw the whole scenery from within the computer into which he was transported. There was an amazing scenery to look out of the private booth he was in, that scenery was showing some sort of cyberspace. He did admit it was terrifying a bit but at the same time amazing. He felt mixed emotions of worry and joy.

A cyber-being, who took the form of an anthropomorphic fox, who has the nickname Fox Century, appeared and greeted the newcomer in a friendly way, "Welcome to the Server-verse of Fox, where everything you've seen in this company's movies, anything beyond your wildest dreams can come true...or something like that. Try not to take it all in."

"Wow, I can barely hold all my expressions in right now," Albert exclaimed calmly though filled with excitement and wonder.

"Would you like to go and visit any world in particular?"

"I would, except...could you make me look more like a film actor-type character? One that people would go for?" Yes, Albert feels that he would be more approachable to others if he looked like a well-respected film actor.

Fox Century said with a shrug, "Of course. If that's how you want it."

He then arranged for Albert to get a virtual makeover (which isn't permanent), and after a bit, he appeared not as a high-school graduate in technician/custodian's clothing, but as a character resembling a Canadian film actor in bank teller clothing.

The fox then said, "I think I know the perfect world you could visit first." He searched through the many worlds based off 20th Century Fox franchises and finds one in particular.

Albert, in his new voice, asked, "Wait, shouldn't I be the one to pick-?"

But he was cut off by being stuffed into a spaceship automatically appearing and then blasting off out of the booth into space. Albert yelled in worry as the spaceship zoomed all around by itself through the cyber-universe. He tried to steer it himself so he could control it, but he had no such luck. On his way, he passed a few worlds based off recognizable franchises. One was a world based on Moulin Rouge, with Zidler's voice booming, "The Moulin Rouge!"

He also passed a Titanic-themed world, zipping right over the ship and a Young Frankenstein-themed world, with the monster's voice bellowing, "PUTTING ON THE RITZ!"

Much time after Albert has spent time in the Fox Server-verse, coming to it and back to the real world, it's become one of his favorite pass-times.

We now see Fox Century making an announcement to every character belonging to this company, with the message being broadcast in any way possible, including to worlds that don't have television.

He declared these words to all virtual inhabitants, "As you know, I am stepping down as leader of this universe, and I have already begun searching for a worthy successor. So I have devised a little competition."

We see an intergalactic enormous arena on one of the planets, with tons of Fox characters attending as spectators of some competition about to get under way.

Fox Century's voice was heard announcing, "I have set up a huge, multi-level scavenger hunt and obstacle course based on some of this company's well-loved franchises. Whoever passes these challenges will inherit my rank."

Albert, in his avatar, who is named Guy, is eager to compete in this event and win, but feels that the only way he'll truly win is if he gets automatically kick-butt action-packed characters on his team, which he needs to compete. So we see him in a room with character profiles appearing on the screen for him to choose.

As he looked, he said to himself out loud, "Well I'll definitely need a kick-butt woman who can get herself out of any situation, or even seduce her way out. I guess my first pick will be Mystique."

He clicks on her profile, and then behind him there is a bright light shining, meaning that his teammate will be teleported. But to his shock and confusion, it was not Mystique from the X-Men, but Scratte from the Ice Age franchise.

"Huh, Must've clicked on her by mistake," he said, confused. Then he shrugged it off. "Oh well, I guess I could use the gender-opposite of Blue Sky's mascot for a team mascot, but let's try that again."

He clicks on Mystique again, and this time gets Fantasy from the Pagemaster. He gets annoyed as he clicks on two other X-Men, and ends up with Horror and Adventure from the Pagemaster instead. Out of frustration, he clicks on random action-packed Fox characters (X-Men, Harry and Eggsy from Kingsman, John McClane from Die Hard, the Fantastic Four, etc.), but alas, he got none of the characters but ended up with animated characters who are considered nowhere near as desirable to the ones he wants. What's even worse is that he sees the "All Teammates Final" message flash, meaning that he can't swap them for others, causing him to groan in frustration.

Note: And that's the general idea I have for what will be coming in the story. It's not a well-put-together trailer, but more like scraps of leaked footage like on the website of cancelled animation. It's the only way I could display it.

If everyone's wondering what the objective of this multi-challenge competition is, it's basically the lead user and his teammates exploring a movie-based level via scavenger hunt exactly how Parzival, Art3mis, Aech, Daito and Sho from Ready Player One took the challenge based off The Shining for ten levels. It's a mixture of RPO, SJ:ANL, Kingdom Hearts and the Scare Games from Monsters University.

One example of the levels the team would take is a Princess Bride-themed level where the group has to battle pirates, R.O.U.S. and storm Prince Humperdink's castle, while pretending to be ghostly pirates, to look for a certain hidden object.

Again, if anyone has any ideas for stuff that could happen whenever the idea comes, unless I cancel it all together, I would love to hear them. I need all the help I can get.

I was planning to start the story in 2022 at first, but after seeing how it'll need more conflict and I already have time occupied with other projects I've wanted to get done before even thinking of this, I might move this to either 2023 or 2024, and start with a Universal-themed cyber-world sporting event story that's based loosely on the obscure 1980's animated TV special, Animalympics, in 2022.
