Reese was awakened to the unforgiving rumbling of the thunder from the blackened sky; the wind howled like a wolf into the night tearing leaves from trees. Lightening crackled lighting up the sky and the rain loudly slapped the ground.
Ding! Dong!
Reese looked at red digital numbers on the flashing clock on her nightstand, the power must have gone out. She rolled out of bed and threw her robe over her black-laced negligee and hurried to the front door. She could see a shadow pacing outside her door as she approached.
"Who is it?" she called through the door.
"It's Christian," the shadow proclaimed.
Reese swung open the door to find Christian standing on her front porch, soaked. His expression was serious and intense; half in the shadow and half in the expressed light from the lightening. His hair had become one with his face which was dripping.
"What are you doing here?"
"Giving us, what we both want," he said moving closer to her.
"Christian I—"
Before Reese could finish her sentence, Christian's lips mounted hers and his arms were around her. She sank into his embrace, yielding to his tongue as it parted her lips and massaged hers. Reese's heart began to race as warm sensations encapsulated her body. She moved her hands to his wet hair, combing her fingers through it. Christian's hands begin to move from Reese's face to her shoulders, then over her arms and up her back. Reese could feel his hands make its way to her breast. His thumb gently rubbed her nipple under her negligee instantly arousing her. His touch was warm, and she moved in closer to his embrace. He kissed her harder, deeper. Until they both had to come up for air. Christian stepped back, breathed deeply emitting a faint grunt as he explored her curves with his eyes.
"Just as I imagined," he smiled wickedly, "You can wake up now."
Christian's voice echoed until it turned into the familiar rambunctious blaring of the small alarm clock on Reese's nightstand, jarring her out of her peaceful sleep. Reese smashed the snooze button as hard as she possibly could; the alarm clock was rude…very rude for interrupting her dream. After the initial frustration had passed, Reese slid out of her moist panties and headed to the shower.
After her shower, Reese threw a fresh pair of panties and her favorite oversized t-shirt and crawled back into bed with her laptop. It was early morning and the world was still silent, Sunday mornings usually were. Reese browsed through her emails to see if anyone had RSVP'd for a private showing of the Melrose listing. Nothing. After hours of paying vendors and designing e-vites for the upcoming masquerade event, Reese decided to google something of slight interest; dominant and submissive, after all she did want to sell this unique house and if there was market for it, she could sell it.
As she clicked through images, each more provocative than the previous, her mind began to wander. This is what Christian was into. He was right, he wasn't like any client she had ever worked with.
MMzz! MMzz!
5:33 AM 3234933687: Good morning Ms. Sutherlin. I was hoping to speak with you about my ideas. What time will you be available for a meeting?
Reese stared at her phone for a moment before responding; he always seemed to contact her at the most unexpected moments.
5:37 AM Reese: Good morning Mr. Grey. The office is closed on Sundays.
5:38 AM 3234933687: And your home office. Is that closed as well?
5:42 AM Reese: Can you send me an email?
5:42 AM 3234933687: Ms. Sutherlin, I would rather discuss this in person.
5:44 AM Reese: Fine. I am available between 10 and 2.
5:47 AM 3234933687: What about now?
5:55 AM Reese: Do you see what time it is?
5:55 AM 3234933687: I do, but you're awake and so am I.
5:57 AM Reese: ...okay that doesn't mean I want company.
5:58 AM 3234933687: Well why else would you be up so early.
6:00 AM Reese: I'm working.
6:02 AM 3234933687: You're lonely.
6:04 AM Reese: Or maybe you are. That's why you're texting me. Your bed must be cold.
Reese smirked confidently at her response to Christian. She sat waiting for a response that never came; guess she hurt his feelings.
