The two of them were plopped rather unceremoniously on their sofas. The Lestranges remained standing, thankfully. Ted really wasn't in the mood to sterilise their furniture because of the taint of dark, twisted people. The ropes bit into his skin, surely leaving marks on his flesh.

"You could still renounce this all, Andromeda," Rabastian said softly. "Tell us everything you know and return where you rightfully belong."

Andromeda snorted loudly and Ted rolled his eyes, he knew how this would turn out. Hadn't this lot learnt that normally it's better to silence you hostages so they don't annoy you? And if Ted knew his amazing wife, he knew that this stupid man was about to receive a thorough tongue lashing. He had seen that look many times over the course of Dora's childhood.

"Like I said to your poorly thought out marriage proposal," spat Andromeda. "You can't make me!"

Rabastian's eyes narrowed, "You never did know your place."

Andromeda held her head high, "It's right here, you idiotic fool."

Ted winced, insulting your capturers wasn't usually a way you avoided torture but by the looks of it Dromeda was on a roll.

"Hold your tongue!" shrieked Bellatrix, flying into one of rages.

"She can't exactly do that tied up, can she?" asked Ted drily, he may as well contribute his pennyworth's.

"Crucio!"

Ted didn't know who cast the Unforgivable, he didn't care. All he cared about was his frayed nerve endings crying out for release.

"No, no, no!" sobbed Dromeda, struggling with her bonds. The curse ended as the Lestranges observed them.

"Very well," Rudolphus finally said. "Speak, if we are pleased with the answers we may let you go with minimal persuasion."

It was Ted's turn to snort this time. As if they could or would tell them anything!

Bellatrix cast the curse this time, at her own sister. Andromeda lasted about three seconds before screaming. He never ever wanted to hear that again. The sound of his soul mate in pain caused him hurt as well, wrenching at his very heart.

"What do you want?" pleaded Ted; he wouldn't necessarily give them the correct answers, just misleading ones. It was handy having a Slytherin for a spouse; you pick up some of their ways eventually.

With a quick gesture from Rabastian, Bellatrix finally ended the spell. Andromeda was pale faced and trembling, he probably didn't look much better.

"Tell us where Harry Potter is," demanded Bellatrix.

"Why?" enquired Andromeda childishly.

The curse was cast silently this time and he instantly cried out in pain.

Once it was removed Rabastian said, "Let us see if your mudblood husband knows how to respect his betters." The man pointed his wand at Andromeda. "Where is Potter?"

"Why do you think we know?" Ted croaked out.

"Isn't your baby daughter all gwown up and fighting big bad people with Dumbledore's widdle Order?" taunted Bellatrix. "She surely told you something!"

Oh no, Dora! Where was she? Had she been captured by someone? Wait, Bellatrix wasn't taunting them about any capture of their only child (and she would do if Dora had been caught, it was just the sort of 'game' Bellatrix had always liked to play) so maybe, just maybe she was safe.

"Nothing," whispered Andromeda fearfully. "She told us nothing."

Rudolphus grunted, "As if we believe you blood traitors."

"Then why interrogate us?" implored Ted. "We are useless to you."

Rabastian's eyes gleamed hungrily at Andromeda (The git). "I think not," he said slowly. "You are good sport and if Andromeda can be persuaded...?"

"Never," she spat rebelliously

Bellatrix stared long and hard at her sister. "You would be of no use anyway," she told Andromeda.

Andromeda smirked. "Has Azkaban really addled your head that much? Surely you remember that that tactic only works on Cissy, not me."

'SLAP!' The sound of flesh striking flesh seemed to echo across the room. Bellatrix was panting heavily and Andromeda looked stunned, a red hand print appearing on her cheek. The woman was mad. You could never tell if she was having an insane moment or a relatively sane one. It was disconcerting; you wouldn't know how far to push her before she broke because she had already snapped.

"This was a rather interesting concept from a medical point of view," mused Ted. "Pity it is neither the time nor the place."

"Shut your mouth," snapped Bellatrix then smiled. "Or better yet, I will silence both of you. Silenco"

The cruciatus curse was cast on both of them at once this time. It was horrible, they couldn't scream. Ted hated seeing Andromeda in pain but not hearing it. Tears streamed down his face as the pain intensified.

It was quickly lifted once he started to see spots and he gasped for air. Rudolphus glanced at their clock.

"It is time to report to our Master," he announced with a regretful tone.

"Maybe we can catch up later," said Rabastian flippantly.

Bellatrix nodded in agreement, "We will be sure to bring along a few friends to loosen your tongues." She left the threat hanging, smirking at them superiorly.

Andromeda was glaring resentfully at her sister, Ted had to admire her. He knew that he definitely didn't have enough energy to even spit at them though he would have liked to. Though no one would have appreciated it, unfortunately.

The three of the disappeared with barely a sound, leaving them there, tied up and alone until Dora fell out of the fireplace forty five minutes later.
