Reese moved freely through the crowd to the makeshift stage to announce the winners of the giveaway items of the auction. Every face stared anxiously at her as she clutched the index cards with the names of the winners in her hand, every face except Christian. His face was ardent, burning with desire; she found it to be distracting yet accepted the challenge from his eyes and stared back. He smirked with amusement.

"Good evening everyone," Reese said clearing her throat, turning her gaze to the rest of the crowd "I hope everyone is having a good time," she smiled nervously, " I have the winners of tonight's giveaway items generously donated by some of you fabulous people," she smiled coyly, "The winner of the Spa and Serenity yacht day trip is Nadine Fischer."

The crowd cheered and eagerly waited for the next announcement.

"Congratulations," she smiled, "the next item is a 3-day weekend in Malibu, " she paused, fumbling over the index cards "and the winner is Collin Haynes," her voice trailed as the name escaped her lips.

She stood frozen for a moment, her ex-fiancé's name echoing in her ears. She hadn't told him about this event or even spoken to him in two years, she couldn't imagine what he could be doing here. She carefully searched the crowd, meeting Naomi's gaze who shrugged her shoulders in confusion. Collin's name was on the paper, yet there was no sign of him in sight.

"Congratulations, make sure you come and claim your prize," she said nervously chuckling as she continued to glance around the crowd, "Well moving along," she said clearing her throat, "This next item was donated by," she paused, looking confusedly at the card, "actually, I'm not sure," she raised a brow, "but it is a private jet tour that will take you to the wine country."

The crowd cheered excitedly.

"The winner of this item is," she dragged her words in suspense, "Miranda Sosa," she announced excitedly, "Yay Miranda," Reese said glancing over at her colleagues. "And now the final item. This is the envy of all items tonight because it is an all expense 2-week vacation for two off the coast of Crete," she shouted excitedly.

Palpable excitement buzzed through the room as infectious grins from anticipation spread like wildfire.

"The winner of this all expense vacation is," she paused, "Christian Grey," Reese said enthusiasm leaving her voice. She looked up quickly meeting his gaze as he stood with a familiar smirk on his face.

For a moment the room fell silent as the two locked eyes. His smile grew wider as he appraised her from afar before motioning for her to snap back to reality.

"Ahem, sorry," Reese said clearing her throat, "This concludes our giveaways, please continue to enjoy the party and this beautiful house, which goes on the market in two days," she smiled shyly rushing off the makeshift stage.

Music began to fill the room; some reacted to the beat and others resumed their conversations. Christian, however, made his way to Reese as she made her way over to her colleagues.

"Naomi, can I talk to you?" Reese said interrupting her conversation with Vincent.

"Sure," Naomi said hesitantly, excusing herself, "What's up?"

"So, Collin is here?"

"I don't know, I guess," Naomi shrugged, taking a sip of her smokey cocktail.

"Did you invite him?"

"No," Naomi said raising her brow, "Why would I do that? The last time I talked to him, he said he wasn't interested in seeing the house, so I can't imagine why he would be here."

"Right," Reese's voice trailed, "Well, I guess I'll take a look around and see if I bump into him," she sighed.

"Are you sure?" she leaned in closer to Reese, "I mean do you really want to open emotional wounds during your brokers open?"

"I'm not looking to have a conversation about us," Reese snapped, "I just want to know why he's here," she said glancing around the room.

"Okay," Naomi's voice trailed, "but I definitely am advising against it," she mumbled.

Reese walked gracefully around the party scanning the room for Collin. She wasn't sure what she would say, she just wanted to figure out why he was there.

"Ms. Sutherlin," Christian's full deep voice aroused the hairs on her neck, "Is everything okay?"

Reese turned on her heels, "Yes," she paused, "everything is fine. Do you need something?"

"Well," his voiced trailed as he smiled at her devilishly.

"What," she said quickly, "Your buyer bail" she continued crossing her arms.

"No," he said sternly, "he'll be here."

"Then what?" she said tightening her lips.

"Will you come with me?" he said extending his hand, "I have something to show you."

"I'm kind of busy Christian," she scoffed, "I'm hosting a party."

"This will only take a minute," he smiled extending his hand.

"Fine," she sighed.

Reese reluctantly took his hand as he led her through the crowd. She followed closely behind his measured steps as he continued out the back doors, across the lawn to the guest house. It was the only place that wasn't being used for the party, so they were completely alone.

"Christian what are we doing in here?" she said as he closed the door behind them.

"I want to talk to you," he said staring intensely at her.

"About?" she said raising her brow.

"Accompanying me to Crete."

"Christian—"

"You don't have to answer right now," he smiled, moving closer to her, "Just hear me out."

"I'm listening," she whispered, melting in his mesmerizing eyes.

"As I've already told you, I have no intention in leaving you alone," he smiled wickedly, "so just imagine swimming in Elafonisi Beach or taking a dip at Seitian Limania Beach. It's private, we would be completely alone," the words spilled softly out of his lips, "maybe I can finally make you mine."

"Christian," she sighed, we've been over this."

"Have we?" he growled, pulling her into his embrace.

"Yes," she whispered, her breath dancing on his lips.

"You and I have started something," he said firmly, "and I'm interested to see where it goes."

"It's nothing we can't stop," she said breathlessly.

"Are you sure about that," he said, his lips lightly brushing across hers.

"Yes," she said faintly.

"Why do you lie to me?"

Reese swallowed deeply, staring at him. She wanted to him; he was right about that. She stared at him, deep in thought as his hands cupped her face, caressing her cheeks.

"What is it?" he stared at her intensely, "what are you thinking about?"

"I—"

"Say it," his eyes scanned her face.

"I think we should get back to the party," she said faintly, "people might be looking for us."

"Let them look," he said leaning in and planting a soft kiss on her lips.

His arms encircled her, drawing her into him as he continued to plant delicate kisses on her lips. Her heart fluttered in her chest; his kisses were tormenting her because she wanted to give in but instead, she pulled away.

"Christian," she said stepping back, "we shouldn't."

"Fine," he paused, "I'll leave you alone...for now," he smirked.
