Chapter 09 – The evil within.

During the same month, day, and hour, Platform 9 3/4 was crowded, people struggled as they bumped into each other while trying to arrive at their respective destinations. Even if it was still quite early for the train to depart for Hogwarts, the masses made it difficult for people to move. Thankfully, the Black sisters were already inside awaiting departure in a specific compartment, the one that usually Lucius Malfoy used.

Narcissa Black, the youngest, was pretty nervous, about two different things. The first, of course, being Hogwarts. She had always lived at home, in the company of her parents and sisters when a sudden detachment of both made it all a little awkward, scary and uncertain about her upcoming new life at the castle.

Glancing at her sisters, Narcissa knew she was the one to drag them out of the house early in the morning, Bellatrix's face showed that very well. Then, glancing at Andromeda she caught her sister staring at her with a worried look on her face. The middle sister was always very supportive and caring in moments like this, always worried about her. If Narcissa could describe her two sisters in one word, that would be 'perfect'. Both of them always took care of her, taught her, protected her, even if her oldest sister was a little eccentric and the middle one was to overprotective(too much or 'as well'?), they were awesome sisters.

"Are you sure you're alright, Cissy?" Andromeda asked, worry clear in her tone.

Before Narcissa could reassure her, Bellatrix groaned. "Andii, you asked her this, like what... ten times already?"

Andromeda glared at Bellatrix who didn't acknowledge it. "I'm worried about my sister, Bella. And for your information, this is the fourth time I've asked her." Andromeda said matter of factly.

Bellatrix huffed. "You're almost reaching your goal, maybe when we arrive at Hogwarts you will finally have reached the tenth time."

Andromeda stuck her tongue out at Bellatrix and 'harumphed' at her.

Narcissa giggled at their antics, it was always this way, their whole lives. They never really fought with each other, but this little bickering was constant. She remembered when she got her letter from Hogwarts and what she hoped to be a helpful conversation.

Flashback: Narcissa Black, Grimmauld Place.

Narcissa and Andromeda were currently walking towards Bellatrix's room to talk with her about the subject that had been bothering her, Hogwarts.

Her plan was to ask both of her sisters about their experiences at the famous castle. She went to Andromeda first, who agreed in a second, and now the two of them were walking towards Bellatrix's room. It took maybe a few steps to reach her oldest sister's door. Knocking, she heard Bellatrix's voice.

"It's open." It came in a tone of such boredom that Narcissa could only giggle. Typical of her big sister.

Opening, she was greeted with Bellatrix laying on her bed reading a book. "Bella? Can we talk?" she asked sweetly.

Bellatrix glanced at her with the corner of her eyes and said. "Cissa, Andi. Of course, we can, sweet sister."

Narcissa huffed at her sister's tone. "I'm serious, Bella."

Bellatrix blinked at her but lowered her book after a minute. "Well. Then let's talk."

"Do you always have to be this rude Bella? The least you can do is offer us somewhere to sit." Andromeda huffed.

Bellatrix raised her eyebrows and gave an exaggerated gesture with her right arm. "Feel free to sit anywhere you like, dear sister." She even smiled mockingly at the end to Andromeda's annoyance.

Andromeda clenched her fists and glared at Bellatrix. "Do you always have to be such a cunt, sister?"

Bellatrix raised her eyebrows and her smile turned into a smirk. "Oh my. Andromeda Black, speaking in such a degenerate manner. What will mother think about this, hm?"

Andromeda's frustration only raised, but after a minute of the two glaring at each other defiantly, Andromeda backed down and sighed. "So what do you want to talk about, Cissy?"

Narcissa who was standing there giggling calmed herself and suddenly bit her bottom lip. "Uhm... I-I want to know what Hogwarts is like."

Two pairs of dark delicate and beautiful eyebrows raised simultaneously. "What Hogwarts is like? Well... old, dark, mysterious, a castle. Filled with ghosts, wizards and witches... blah, blah, blah." Bellatrix responded lamely.

"You know what I asked, Bella." Narcissa crossed her arms and pouted.

Bellatrix sighed. "Be more specific then?"

Narcissa glanced at her sisters and shrugged. "I don't know how to be more specific, just tell me what you two think about Hogwarts?"

Narcissa's two older sisters glanced at each other and in perfect unison they replied. "Boring." Silence.

Narcissa started to sweat. "B-boring, how so?"

Andromeda pondered a little then looked at Bellatrix who shrugged at her. "I mean, the classes are too easy. It makes it all boring."

Narcissa furrowed her eyebrows. "Easy?"

This time Bellatrix responded. "More than easy... In my case, I find all of it plain and boring. The classes, the students, the professors... My Lord teaches me everything I need. The library is good, but still not enough for me." Bellatrix shrugged at the end.

Narcissa tilted her head. "My Lord?... Oh, you mean Harry?" Narcissa, like all the other Blacks who attended the Christmas (the Christmas what) made a vow not to tell about Harry Potter and the conversations about him. So for Narcissa and everyone else, he was Harry Potter, son of Charlus and Dorea Potter and that was it.

Bellatrix seemed a little annoyed at her comment. "Of course Harry is my Lord, who else would it be?" Narcissa chose not to answer.

At that Andromeda furrowed her brow and commented. "It's a surprise seeing you home, you are always at Harry's." Now all the Blacks knew where Bellatrix went almost every day.

Bellatrix looked at her sister boringly then smirked. "Jealous, are we?"

Andromeda turned red and stuttered a little. "W-wha... Of course not. I-it only surprises m-me, you being home at this hour when normally you would be with Harry. That's all."

Bellatrix's smirk suddenly vanished as she sighed. "I'm still being punished. I'm to be at home for the next two weeks, no training, no reading dueling books or any kind of offensive spellbooks. The only ones I'm permitted to read are the basic ones, like transfiguration, charms, blah blah blah and the Mind Arts."

It was clear by the book Bellatrix was holding earlier, Mind Arts Intermediary Part 3.

Narcissa and Andromeda raised their eyebrows at her downcast mood and took advantage of the situation. "Well, I think you look beautiful in pink, sister." Andromeda had a wicked smirk on her face.

Narcissa not far behind said. "I agree with Andi, you looked adorable in that sparkling pink dress."

Bellatrix's eyes twitched, she clenched her teeth and fists, they dared to mock her. Andromeda, seeing this, quickly moved her wand and waved at her sister who was now shouting, trashing and squirming but no sound was coming from her.

Andromeda, seeing the shocked expression on Narcissa's face, said. "See, like we were saying, Harry makes things a lot easier for us at Hogwarts, but I find it awesome being there, making friends. You just need to adapt, then you will be fine, Cissy." Andromeda said while gesturing at Bellatrix.

"Like you did?" Bellatrix mocked, getting herself out of the silencing charm.

"And what is this supposed to mean?" Andromeda said indignantly once again glaring at the curly black-haired witch.

"Don't play dumb sister, you almost don't have friends." Bellatrix scoffed.

Andromeda narrowed her eyes and said. "Of course I have friends. Harry, Davis, Ito, Lovegood, and Ted."

"Ted? The muggle? Well, that's quite an addition." Bellatrix commented, whispering. "Do you see what the problem is... where are the girls?" She asked mockingly.

Andromeda, now cornered, stuttered. "They d-don't like me, alright. And what's the problem with Ted?"

Bellatrix deadpanned and said. "Didn't you come to me the other day saying my Lord forced you to befriend the Puff boy? Actually, you didn't even come to me, you just kept mumbling while looking angry."

Andromeda's eyes widened slightly and she opened her mouth, when no sound came she closed before opening again. "Well, I came to realize Harry was just worried about me and wanted me to befriend other students from different houses like Lovegood. Of course, at first, I didn't like it, but Ted is a great friend. And why are you dictating me on this if you also don't have friends."

Bellatrix raised her eyebrows at Andromeda. "Differently from you sister, my needs for having friends are at the bottom of the list. And those dimwits I normally hang out with can at least be called friends, even the girls from sixth year." Andromeda knew this was true, Bellatrix was quite popular among the older students.

Meanwhile, Narcissa stood aside only watching her sisters bicker with each other, because of random the end, she didn't get her answer but she appreciated their attempts.

Flashback end.

Narcissa Black, Hogwarts Express

The second cause for Narcissa's concern was her marriage contract with the handsome and rich Lucius Malfoy.

Narcissa was confused, she knew marriage contracts, engagement contracts, betrothal contracts, and others. But Narcissa was different, she remembered the day her father and Lord Black called her for a meeting. She was nervous at first but also was glad when she got out of Lord Black's office.

Flashback: Arcturus Black. Grimmauld Place.

Arcturus Black was once again sitting in his office, it was the day after Christmas and the conversation with his nephew, Hadrian Potter.

Like Harry was informed, Abraxas Malfoy sent him a letter detailing his choices and his desire to form an alliance with the Blacks. Arcturus was surprisingly happy with the man's choice, of having another ally, and even more so, that ally being the Malfoys.

But since the majority of alliances were made in friendship or marriage, Abraxas asked him if he was open to a betrothal contract between Lucius and one of the Black daughters.

When he first read the letter, Arcturus thought about the terms of the contract. It was pretty standard, detailing that the girl to marry Lucius when at age, will be Lady Malfoy when he becomes Lord. There were details about money and other simple terms.

But now he had a problem, whom he would choose.

The first was Bellatrix. Completely off limits, she would prefer to kill the Malfoys than to marry one of them. And there was the problem that she only obeyed Harry. If it was the old Bellatrix, she would at least consider it, seeing as the Malfoy's were a Pureblood family.

Second, Andromeda. Andromeda would clearly refuse. She didn't like being used, as she had put it.

The third was Narcissa. He was sure the girl would accept, albeit reluctantly, but his thoughts drifted to Harry's memories. Could he control Lucius or at least direct him towards a path where he didn't end up as Voldemort's lackey?

Ending with no conclusions at all, Arcturus decided to do something not to his liking, asking his nephew for advice.

When the conversation with Potter at his office ended that day, he didn't know what to do. He wanted this alliance with the Malfoy's but he also didn't want to risk his family for it.

But Potter said something that intrigued him, 'make a contract that's easy to dissolve and both parties gain or lose equally.' That's when an idea came.

Earlier this morning he called his nephew Cygnus to show him a contract he made. It was pretty obvious that it would cement an alliance, but could be easily broken. "I see, so you want to discuss with Narcissa then, Uncle?" Cygnus asked, putting down the parchment.

"I want to know your opinion first, Cygnus." Arcturus sighed.

Cygnus pondered and nodded. "I think it is a good contract, easy to get out and of course Narcissa will remain protected. We only need to wait for their answer, but do you think Lucius will accept it?"

Arcturus nodded slowly while locking eyes with Cygnus, then he called. "Alright then. Kreacher."

Kreacher appeared already bowing. "Lord Black called."

"Fetch Narcissa for us," Arcturus ordered Kreacher. The elf poped out to do what it was ordered.

It didn't take very long for a knock to sound on the door.

"Enter." Arcturus allowed and from the door Narcissa Black stepped in a little afraid. "You don't need to worry Narcissa, you haven't done anything wrong. Your father and Ijust want to talk with you." That made her relax a little.

"What can I do for you then, Lord Black?" Narcissa asked, still a little nervous.

"Please take a seat, Narcissa." Arcturus knew he was an intimidating man, but he was trying to be as gentle as possible.

Narcissa took a seat beside her father who gave her a reassuring smile, making her nervousness diminish. Arcturus took his time explaining everything to her, from the party conversation until she knew what the proposition was.

"Uhm, so I'm marrying Lucius Malfoy?" Narcissa asked confusedly and timidly.

Thank Merlin, Cygnus came to his aid. "No, nothing like that daughter. It's more like a courtship contract. It's only a formality to cement an alliance with the Malfoy's."

"Courtship contract? Isn't that a Marriage contract?" She again asked, confused.

Arcturus shook his head. "With this marriage, you will not be tied to Lucius, but still you will need to respect the boundaries of this contract as he will. Although any kind of harassment for both parties or one of the two felt reject(don't know what that means) or has a feeling that either of you are deviating from the future relationship you two have, this marriage will be broken. The specifics of this contract will be discussed later if you should accept it."

"Of course only if you want to, I will not force you." Cygnus added reluctantly.

Narcissa was overwhelmed, it was a pretty weak contract and she knew it, but she was glad to not be tied to a boy she barely knew about. Although it was strange, she liked it. It was a dream of hers to have a rich, handsome guy to marry. So she decided to give it a try.

She nodded slowly. "I accept, Lord Black." Cygnus beamed at his daughter, and Arcturus furrowed his brow and gave an unnoticeable sigh of relief.

Flashback end.

Narcissa Black. Hogwarts Express.

That was another reason Narcissa came earlier, to meet Lucius. During the summer her mother and father took her to meet Abraxas and Lucius at their home. It was very awkward for her. First because she was going over to a boy's place, and second because Lucius seemed very depressed, as his mother was a very frail person and currently she was at St. Mungos. She asked what happened and Lucius said it had always been this way, she always had health problems.

Her meeting with him was pleasant, and after the awkwardness vanished, they talked a lot about different things, silly things really, although they promised each other to catch the train to Hogwarts together.

And so here she was. Narcissa maybe was a little too early for that, making her plaster the older sisters to come early seeing parents didn't have much effect on the two Blacks anymore she had to scheme against the two of them. Andromeda was easy to persuade, a little of her pouting and big puppy eyes, score, Andromeda melted.

The challenge was Bellatrix, she didn't even budge at her attempts, luckily her sister came to her aid and said something about Harry coming early, she was the first to get out of the house, but when they arrived and Bellatrix searched every compartment for him, and she meant it, her oldest sister mood soured.

As these thoughts played on her mind the compartment door opened and there stood a boy fairly tall for his age, blond hair reaching his shoulders, grey eyes, handsome face, standing proudly in his expensive robes.

When her sisters saw him arrive, Narcissa heard Andromeda sigh exasperatedly while muttering 'finally' while Bellatrix voiced her displeasure.

"If it isn't Lucy... " She started in a mocking manner with a smirk on her face who dropped instantly as she sneered at him. "You're fucking late, you know that Cissy dragged us here like forty minutes ago?"

Lucius didn't look fazed, he only raised his eyebrows and said. "Bellatrix. I don't need to explain myself to you."

Bellatrix didn't like his tone so she repeated every word he said in her baby voice. Lucius's eye twitched and he sneered silently at the black haired witch. He was not dumb, Lucius knew if he provoked the eldest of the sisters he would probably get hurt.

As they glared at each other Narcissa nervously broke their spat. "Lucius…"

Lucius' glare broke and he glanced at her with an almost unnoticeable smile on his face. "Narcissa." They of course talked about this, they would call each other by name even if they didn't know each other that well.

Narcissa kind of liked this, it made her like a princess, but it seemed to her Bellatrix was not as amused as she hoped. Andromeda coughed awkwardly on her hand and Bellatrix made gag noises, making Lucius glare at her.

"What?" Bellatrix asked. After a moment that no one graced her with a response she clicked her tongue. "Whatever, I'm out. You two are no fun at all."

Narcissa's glare turned into surprise as she asked. "Why? You said you would accompany me until Hogwarts."

Bellatrix chuckled with a fake smile. "No dear sister, I said I would accompany you until we reached the train. Now, I have someone to meet." Narcissa shivered at the malicious grin that appeared on her sister's face.

When Bellatrix left, Narcissa was quicker than Andromeda giving her best puppy eyes she knew, making Andromeda sigh in despair and relent to her demands. At least Andromeda would not escape her.

Dorea Potter-Black, King Cross Station.

Dorea walked through the crowd with her husband at her side, a scowl on his face and her son at her other side with a thoughtful look on his. Glancing past his son, she couldn't help and shiver slightly. But she felt bad about it, even if her shiver was understandable.

It all started a little before the summer, when Arcturus Black asked for a meeting with Charlus and herself. That's when Arcturus came and handed it to him. A letter that Andromeda wrote him on Harry's behalf.

She read it. Her son was asking Arcturus information on a man he didn't know, but he wrote down all the descriptions about the stranger. Firstly, she thought it would be difficult to find a man only by his description, but when Arcturus was the one searching, things changed.

The final contents of the letter were for this information to be delivered to Charlus, because it was time they went hunting.

The target was Baron Winston Whitlock. From a small pureblood family, but very influential politically.

Arcturus knew what this implied and voluntarily helped. He didn't come alone, with him he brought his nephew Cygnus, and Harfgang Longbottom, the same man who dueled her son.

Beyond them, Charlus contacted his old war companions, they were four in total. Three wizards and a witch. Those same people he found at the bar.

The wizards were Mace Elks, he was the oldest of them, but certainly not the stronger. White mustache, bald head, with scar adorning his head, one of his eyes was blind and his left hand was missing two fingers.

The next was Almond Firewheel, badly shaved brown bear, hair of the same color in pompadour style, was very crafty but loyal, he had this tick where he scratched his ear often.

The third was Handerson Inkwood, a dark skinned man with shaved head, clean face, who looked serious all the time. Charlus also said that when he mentioned Horcrux he was one of the few wizards who knew what it was.

Lastly, the witch, who Charlus said despite her petite figure was damn skilled and had a foul mouth. Her name was Mabel Ironbark.

Since Charlus started the Horcrux hunt, they dutifully and faithfully aided Charlus in what he needed.

As the days passed, and the group investigated Winston Witlock, Dorea was getting frustrated. She wanted to do something, something to help her family, and the opportunity came when the raid to capture Witlock presented itself to her.

During Charlus' hunts, he acquired a place, small yet safe to use as a base. Warded and under Fidelius of course.

Her husband was preparing himself to meet the raid team consisting of the eight individuals.

That's when she showed up in front of Charlus dressed for battle.

He blinked at her for a moment, taking the image of her wearing tighter clothes, but quickly shook his head and went to tell her she wasn't going.

But she remembered very well what she said. 'If I don't go with you, don't give yourself the trouble to come back, because I'll not be here anymore.'

She knew that the threat hurt him, but she was feeling so useless that she couldn't help it. Black blood still ran through her veins after all.

Grudgingly, yet excited to have her at his side he nodded and kissed her, ready for the coming storm.

The thing was, the storm was the last of her worries, capturing Witlock was easy.

After a lot of research, they discovered the man hated all kinds of creatures, be they goblins, centaurs, werewolves or house-elves.

Witlock had a history of changing house-elves frequently, leading the ministry to investigate. They came to a conclusion that he killed all the house-elves he had simply out of hate, leading the ministry to forbid the man to acquire or have more house elves.

But how could a man like Witlock, a pureblood who lived alone live in dirt without a house elf to cook his food?

Witlock had money to hire a maid and a butler. Magical of course. In the magical society having maids and butlers when you had house-elves turned out to be very rare, but there were still people willing to do the job, for several reasons.

To capture Witlock, the group followed and captured the maid and butler first, forcing them to give access to the Witlock estate. After that, it became easy. Witlock was captured.

While looking through Willock's residence, Dorea found some documents about some transactions between Witlock and various other contacts from around the world. He dealt in human trafficking, being muggles, muggle-born, half-blood, but his specialty was werewolves.

Not far from the estate, they discovered what seemed like a dungeon There they saw cells, torture chambers, the worst kind of places. Fortunately, when they found the said dungeon, it was empty.

After all she witnessed, she felt repulsed, sick, angry but above all she was scared. Now she knew what her son was fighting against, it was not only a man who sought control over the world, but also his sick followers and their own sick minds.

Charlus wanted to kill Witlock right there and then, and tell Harry the man died in an accident, but this was betrayal. Even if her Potter side agreed wholeheartedly with her husband, the Black one screamed at her, saying she was betraying her son and Witlock needed to suffer.

In the end Dorea decided to inform Harry of Witlock's capture, and for the first time she witnessed how Harry could be merciless and wicked.

She remembered the day Harry met Witlock, she shuddered at the memory.

Flashback: Dorea Potter-Black, Charlus Hideout.

The hideout Charlus got was a two storey wood cabin. It was small, but very comfortable.

Dorea currently sat in a room with her companions while her legs shook furiously in nervousness. Harry was coming.

Arcturus stood behind her with a hand on her shoulder. But she was not the worst off in the room. Charlus was practically sulking with a furious scowl on his face.

"Finally we are going to meet the boss." Ironbark threw her hands in the air. Letting herself fall on the couch.

No one commented, but Harfgang gave a weak chuckle, yeah, she would be surprised that the 'boss' was a kid.

"I don't like this." Charlus broke the silence mumbling irritably.

Arcturus at her side sighed. "We already went through this, Charlus. He has to come, not only because he's the Lord and he ordered us to. But also because it is his duty, he started it and we followed suit, not doing as he says is betrayal, and you know that.

"I am his father... " Charlus tried to argue but Arcturis cut him off.

"But right now, he's not your son, he's a Lord," Arcturus voiced devoid of any emotion.

The woman, Ironbank, narrowed her eyes at them. "What are you fuckers babbling about, hm? You purebloods are such gits every time."

Dorea sweatdropped. This woman clearly had no filters.

Arcturus and Charlus, ignoring Ironbank, continued discussing. Dorea's heart ached as the fireplace turned green, it was finally time. Time for her to see what was going to happen with Witlock.

From the fireplace three figures stepped in the room, making not only Dorea, but the other witch and wizards fall into silence, some confused, others nervous and in her and Charlus' case dread.

When the fire diminished, standing proud, was her son, Harry Potter, a displeased scowl on his face.

The second person she saw was an equally proud Bellatrix Black, wearing her trademark smirk on her face.

The third was another girl, she seemed to be around Bellatrix's age, a little shorter than the curly black haired witch, dirty brown hair, pulled into a ponytail, not leaving bangs whatsoever, but what got Dorea's attention was how lifeless she seemed. No light in her eyes, she looked like an old porcelain doll.

"What the fuck?" Ironbark shot to her feet. "What the fuck you kids doing here?" The only response she got was a growl from Bellatrix, but before she could act Cygnus grabbed her arm.

"What are you doing here Bellatrix?" Cygnus snarled through gritted teeth.

Dorea felt Arcturus move to stop Cygnus but it was too late. Bellatrix shook herself from the grip and she growled towards Cygnus before smirking again.

"What am I doing here, dear father? Well loyal servants follow their masters, no?" Her smirk got wide when Cygnus teeth made screeching noises echo in the room.

"Bellatrix." Came Harry's voice in a warning tone, making her smirk vanish instantly. She straightened herself and started to ignore Cygnus completely.

"Cygnus." This time was Arcturus warning, a little begrudgingly Cygnus back down still glaring at his daughter.

"Can some of you fuckers explain what's happening?" Ironbark shouted. She had a confused look on her face mirroring her companions.

Charlus cleared his throat, mixing with a growl to catch their attention. "This is the Gray Lord. Harry Potter."

Ironbank's face turned blank. "Is this some kind of joke, Charlus?" she asked low and dangerously. The other three were not so different.

Before anyone else could speak again, Harry stepped forward and asked. "Where's Witlock?"

At his question the room fell silent. Dorea's heart sank more as her hands started to tremble. She glanced at the boy standing there, looking exactly like a proper Lord should, calm and collected as the dreadful feeling in her heart grew even more.

A memory came to her mind, she was laughing and dancing with her son, as he tried his hardest to mirror her moves. Then it changed to his memories, the pain he felt, the abandonment, the fear, frustration, the anger.

She promised to help, as a mother she would do anything to get her son out of here. But right now, the Harry standing there was not her son, but the old Harry.

Her hands stopped trembling and she shot from her seat. "In here, Harry." she said as she started to move towards the basement.

Dorea didn't need to glance back to know her son was following soon after.

Voices reached her ears.

"What the fuck Potter, is this some kind of joke?" Ironbark snarled.

"Didn't you promise you would at least stay at the end of this? When you see the… what's coming next, we can talk." Charlus contered heatfully.

Dorea remembered Charlus speaking to her, Ironbark made the promise to stay until the end of the 'interrogation' knowing they would not like it when they saw Harry.

"Yes, I did, Potter. But why the fuck are three kids doing here?" Ironbark snarled again.

Charlus struggled to not explode. "Just do what you promisse and stay till the fucking end. Then you can do whatever you want."

Ironbark growled. "Fuck! Fine."

Minutes later everyone was in the presence of a bound and gagged Whitlock hanging by his arm from the ceiling.

When everyone entered the room, Dorea stood beside Charlus with her brother in front. The two girls stood side by side and Harry stood in front of Witlock looking at the man.

The others stood behind them, she heard rushed whispers of confusion and disdain.

Dorea saw Harry stare at the man a minute before nodding. "It's him," he confirmed.

Then he turned back and walked towards them. "Thank you, uncle. For your help and assistance."

Arcturus gave him a nod. "I was only delivering the information, but at the last minute I decided to partake in this... raid. And I was glad I did, I gained a lot of knowledge from that... man, over there." Dorea didn't miss the venom at the word man referring to Witlock.

Her son nodded in appreciation and turned towards Cygnus, Harfgang and the rest. "I would like to thank you as well, gentleman and lady." Making Ironbark growl again. They nodded but said nothing.

Then Dorea grabbed Harry's attention, giving him a hug, it took several moments, but before she pulled back she whispered. "Whatever happens, know that I love you and always will." With a final kiss on his forehead, Dorea's expression turned steely as she stood prepared for the inevitable.

Charlus was the last, he put a hand on Harry's shoulder and squeezed a little, then they locked eyes in a silent understanding nodding at each other.

Harry then turned towards the fat man hanging on the ceiling gagged, but before he could move Dorea heard the new girl finally speak. "You promised." It came out as a venomous spat, almost like a hiss.

Her son immediately stopped in his tracks, he seemed to sigh in annoyance. Honestly, Dorea didn't know what was happening but when Harry ignored the girl and gave one more step towards Whitlock the girl raged at her son.

"Liar, that's what you are. You promise and here you..." Whatever she went to say was stopped on her tracks by two sources, her son turning around with pure annoyance on his glare and Bellatrix filled with rage pulling the girl's hair.

"You will have what you want, but I didn't promise it was you who would kill him. Now if you want to partake in this, be quiet and let me work... otherwise leave."

The girl seemed to freeze, Dorea was not faring too well either, as she never saw Harry glare at someone like that or hear such a tone on his voice.

But it didn't end there, to her shock Dorea saw Bellatrix lean close to the girl's ear and whisper some words that Dorea only understood by reading the curly haired witch's lips. "Shut up dimwit, your master gave you his answer and gave you an order, so stay quiet and watch. What did you, hm? Because I didn't teach you to be disrespectful to your master, be glad you won't be punished, but you will regret this later, Bell. Oh, how you will regret this later." Bellatrix finished with a wicked smirk on her face as the girl started to shake a little.

After Harry finished glaring at the now trembling and scared girl he turned on his heels and stalked towards Witlock.

"Ennervate." Harry muttered waking Witlock from the darkness.

"W-hat? W-here... w-where am I? H-happened?" The confused man groggily looked around in confusion.

But before he could do anything more Harry uttered another word. "Legilimens."

As Harry concentrated on information gathering, Dorea glanced again towards the curly black haired witch who seemed to be waiting patiently in the side with the scared girl at her side.

But the silence held in the room was broken by Dorea's nephew voicing his displeasure towards his daughter. "Bellatrix, now that Potter is engaged on the matter, care to explain why you are here?"

Arcturus who stood at Dorea's side and sighed in disappointment, this time keeping to himself. He warned once, he even warned twice but Arcturus wouldn't warn his nephew a third time.

Dorea watched the scene with a keen eye, as Bellatrix totally ignored her father. Instead of spatting at him as expected, Bellatrix raised her hand and started to pet the unknown girl's hair as if she was some kind of dog. Making Cygnus scowl in displeasure.

"You've been a really bad girl Katykins. But nothing is over for you, you still can be redeemed... look there" Bellatrix said while pointing towards Witlock. "You see, there's the man who ruined your life, the worm who turned your life into a living hell." It was sweet and almost seductively like a siren. "Imagine you inflicting pain on him, as he screams and begs you for forgiveness. Imagine how pathetic it will look when you hear him break as his hopes shatter when you deny him his pleas. Imagine how good it will feel when the life in his eyes finally fades." Dorea stared in shock as Bellatrix's smirk grew. "Do you want it? Hm? Do you want to inflict that pig of a man pain, make him scream like one? Make him beg you for forgiveness?" As she spoke Dorea saw the other girl shake at her every word.

It looked like the girl was afraid, scared of what Bellatrix whispered, Dorea thought of asking Bellatrix to stop but the answer that came from the girl's mouth made her freeze.

"Yes, mistress." The girl responded in a whispered tone but enough to echo in the room. Bellatrix smirk grew even more, it wasn't only evil, but sickening to a degree that all this time spending with the girl made Dorea never want to see her again.

"Then when and if our Lord give you permission, you might have your little fun." Dorea's lips pursed at the mention of Harry. Bellatrix was really a sadist. "Then what do you need to do?"

"Be respectful, get on my knees and beg otherwise sit still in complete silence." The girl said in a mantra-like way.

Dorea saw Bellatrix frown as she waited a moment expecting the girl to continue. After a minute Bellatrix gritted her teeth. "To whom, Bell?"

The girl twitched and stiffened. "O-our Lord, mistress."

Bellatrix's angry face slowly turned to her usual smirk again. "Good." She said, reaching for the girl's head.

The girl that was now named Bell stiffened again when Bellatrix started to rub her hair again.

As the scene displayed in front of her, Dorea forgot to look towards Cygnus. Fortunately for the man everyone forgot him as in a split of a second he went behind his words and kept quiet in a dark corner. Taken aback by his daughter's actions.

Suddenly, Dorea felt the air grow cold and her head snapped towards the source of the coldness. Harry stood there, head hanging low as Witlock started to trash around and curse at her son, he seemed now very aware of his situation.

What she wasn't expecting was what came next. Harry suddenly raised his wand and a violent and nasty red light came from his it hitting the captured man who screamed in agony.

For a moment she couldn't remove her eyes from the scene, gasps reached her ears, Charlus's companions also in pure shock, but the only thing she could hear was Witlock's screams and the quick change on Harry's breath, rough and slow, he was angry, no, her son was pissed.

But whatever reason made her son snap and cast the Cruciatus Curse, even on a man like Witlock, made her frown in sadness.

Unfortunately, it didn't end there. Dorea saw Harry suddenly stop and he turned around and to her shock he went directly towards the new girl, who had a scared wide eye expression on her face.

Harry hestily grabbed Bell's arm and dragged her towards Witlock. "You did want your 'Justice' right, then fucking do it. Bellatrix taught you Cruciatus didn't her, then do it." Dorea couldn't believe what she was hearing, silently she started to pray for the girl to refuse and to not do anything.

"You're afraid now, uh? You're weak... that was to be expected." Dorea sighed in relief as Harry turned towards the man, but her sigh was caught on her throat when Harry leaned toward the girl and whispered something in her ear.

The room met silence for a moment until Bell suddenly jerked away from Harry and glared at him "You lie. There's no way this is true. This... this murderer, he could never be..." Dorea looked confused as all the other occupants in the room.

Harry returned her glare coldly and just said. "Why don't you make him talk then?"

Shivers ran in everybody's spine when the girl glanced towards the tied man. "Is what he said true? Are you really my father, you are the one who sired me?" She asked slowly and dangerously.

The man didn't reply, making Dorea's hopes be crushed in many ways again, when Bell raised her wand Dorea's legs dragged her out of the room without looking back with the screams of agony, rage and worry behind her.

Soon enough Charlus caught up to her with a saddened look on his face and in a long time a tear escaped Dorea's eyes, the reality finally coming down on her.

Flashback end:

The truth was Dorea was so conflicted at Harry's actions that sometimes she couldn't look him in the eyes, and she felt ashamed by it, she only hoped Harry would not let this revenge consume him.

Kathelyn Bell. Bell residence, a few hours before the train departure.

The dark and depressing place she called home was silent as usual, but she liked it, the silence was relaxing to her, cold yet comfortable. As she brushed her hair, her eyes glanced briefly at her face, stoic, expressionless, cold and uncaring. This was her since that day.

Kathelyn couldn't stop the images that plagued her mind of her mother's murder, but then Harry Potter and Bellatrix Black showed up, or rather she went to look for them in her moment of weakness. She was so frustrated when she reached for them yet, they like the others denied her. They not only denied her, but called her weak, useless, pathetic. When that happened she lost hope, but some days later Bellatrix Black came back to mock her more, and the memory brought her shivers to the spine, Black was a merciless and cold witch.

What she was not expecting was the promise Potter made to her of getting information on the man who murdered her mother to be fulfilled, her inexistent hope now shined a little bit of light, rekindling her hopes again.

That made Potter, the one who called her weak, pointed out her flaws and made her feel miserable suddenly to be at the top people she liked in the world, above her fake friends, above Dumbledore, above her family and above her father. Because he not only promised to at least help a little but he fulfilled the promise. Making him be like an angel attending her prays.

Although, if Potter was an angel, Bellatrix was the devil. The girl was merciless in her comments and spats, she didn't hold back, she even physically hit her at some point. In her vision Bellatrix was pure evil.

Demons usually were known by the violence but another common trait demons had was the lust, the seduction, not only physically but more commonly mentally. And Bellatrix proved to be an enticing demon.

When Kathelyn received the information from Potter about the murderer, Bellatrix changed abruptly, from an active bully to a person that acted as if nothing happened, ignoring her completely.

Bellatrix knew what she desired, knew her wishes, her thirst for revenge, revenge that she mistook for justice, Bellatrix knew her weakness. So Bellatrix, like the devil she was, offered a way out for her desperation.

It was that sweet and delicious voice on the back of her neck that screamed for her to let it take her, still the strong and sane part of her mind was too proud and said no to her wishes. But still Bellatrix's voice was too strong and little by little that stubborn, yet sane part of her was crumbling little by little and she was giving in to the devil's wishes.

Now Kathelyn knew Bellatrix was an expert evil seductress.

And her journey to the darkest pit started the day she took on Bellatrix's proposal. To learn the Cruciatus Curse for solely use against 'her Lord's enemies', as Bellatrix informed.

When Bellatrix said that, right on the day she delivered the invitation, Kathelyn didn't know what Bellatrix meant.

Now Kathelyn knew. It meant she had to forget and give everything that was left of her to the two of them, the devil and her Master.

It was dark, yes, it was evil, yes, it was wrong, yes, but it was everything Kathelyn had left and she would clutch with all her might, because at least she would have something, she would have her revenge.

Flashback: Kathelyn Bell, Hogwarts Great Hall.

Kathelyn was currently in the Great Hall sitting on her house table, Gryffindor. If asked her today she would say she would be far from being a Gryffindor but her mother died after she was already part of the house. She sat alone focusing on one and only thing, the Slytherin curly black haired demoness, Bellatrix Black.

Bellatrix sat with two other girls and a boy she didn't know their names, not that she wanted to, and of course the Lestrange brothers who she knew because they were quite popular.

She was staring at the laughing girl for almost fifteen minutes straight, struggling to muster her courage to walk towards the devil and sell her soul. Although, deep inside she knew there were no other choices for her at the moment.

Finally having enough of the Slytherins laughing, Kathelyn walked up to them and stood right behind Bellatrix.

"And then I said... " Bellatrix , who was talking about something, stopped when Rodolphus, sitting in front of her, suddenly glanced above her. "What?" Bellatrix asked.

Rodolphus didn't respond, instead he looked at Kathelyn in the eyes and said. "What do you want, little lion? Are you lost?"

Kathelyn ignored him and waited for Bellatrix to turn, the said girl did after a second. "Black, I want to talk."

Bellatrix raised her eyebrows. "Is that so? Then talk."

"Alone. Please" Kathelyn said while starting to get frustrated with Bellatrix's games.

"Wait... I know you." One of the unknown Slytherin girls said with a shocked face while pointing at her while squinting her eyes. "Nah, I just mistook you for a house-elf." The others laughed at the bad joke.

But it clearly inflicted on her pride, but Kathelyn remained locked eyes with Bellatrix, who did the same while smirking, enjoying her suffering. As the insults came to her death ears. Bellatrix, seeing that Kathelyn didn't budge, got up from her seat abruptly startling her house mates.

"Bellatrix?" Rodolphus inquired confusedly.

"Then let's talk, follow me." Bellatrix said, turning to walk.

"Wha... Black, where are you going?" The other boy Kathelyn didn't know spoke.

"It's none of your business Dolohov... maybe it's time for me to tame the brave lion." Bellatrix cracked, Kathelyn ignored and just followed the witch.

As they walked, with Bellatrix a little ahead of her, she recognized the path they were going, the famous bathroom.

When they finally stood inside the bathroom with Myrtle there looking curiously at them, while they stared at each other. She finally gathered all the courage to talk.

"I accept... teach me." Her voice failed a little but Bellatrix seemed not to catch or not give a fuck, because she only raised her eyebrows with the most serious face she had.

After minutes of silence Black spoke. "That's not how it works, Bell."

Frustration already started to rise within her. "W-what do you mean?"

In a second her throat was in Bellatrix's hands. "Don't take me for a fool you worm." At each word she squeezed only releasing after finishing speaking.

Kathelyn gulped frozen in place. "I thought you understood what you did wrong." Bellatrix backed off a little. "Let me remind your filthy little head... you have nothing, no allies, no friends, no family and no hope." Silence. "You want that? Have a family? My Lord can give to you." As Bellatrix spoke those words something started to crumble in her mind, her own being. "You want friends. My Lord also can give to you." A familiar desire was now rising through Kathelyn's body. "You want allies? I can be your ally." Bellatrix's sweet voice penetrated her mind. "You want hope? Power to kill your enemies? A chance to avenge your mother? And show the whole world your not a weakling?" Yes... Kathelyn's mind screamed.

Although, the sane part of her, still filled her with fear, doubt and desperation kept her from jumping at the proposal right up ahead. But reluctantly an answer came from her mouth. "Y-yes." It came in such a pathetic way, meek and weak that she felt ashamed of herself.

"Then you have to offer something in return." That damn sweet seductive voice, it was pure evil yet so comforting and inviting.

"W-what? What do I need to offer in return?" Kathelyn was afraid to ask but did nonetheless. She knew she would regret asking.

For a moment a flash passed through Bellatrix violet eyes and slowly, as each syllable was spoken, shivers ran through Kathelyns spine. "Everything."

A slave, that was she would be, she now got it. All these things were not a joke, they were really serious about this. That's why she had to bow, she had a choice to be a simple slave, get her revenge or stay as she was... a slave to her own being, a lifeless body. That's were her choices, but even though her body shook in denial, that part of her, the spoiled one, wanted 'justice' and not revenge.

Before she could word anything, Bellatrix seemed to catch her thoughts and muttered. "You're really pathetic Bell, beyond hope." And she started to walk towards the door.

"W-wait... please, I'll do anything." She spun on her heels and stretched towards Bellatrix's back as desperation flowed out her mouth.

Unseen to Kathelyn a big and visceral smirk appeared on Bellatrix's face. "Then bow."

"I-I... b-but you said y-you would be m-y ally." Wrong thing to say.

It was like slow motion, Black walked past her as thoughts runned through her mind in a speed she couldn't imagine was possible. Every word Bellatrix spoke to her passed through her mind and on a final straw the blurriness of that memory faded and the face of that man, now could be seen clearly.

"I want to be your ally, Black. '' She screamed desperately.

Bellatrix spun around with furious expression instead of the trade smirk as she reached for Bell's hair who shrieked in surprise then in pain. She brought Kathelyn's ear near her mouth. "I will be your ally dear Kathelyn, but first I'm your mistress. When I said everything, I meant it. Body, mind, soul, spirit, magic, whatever the fuck has left within you will belong to my Lord and him only." She tightened the grip, yanking a little. "Do you understand?" Then she finally released when she saw a weak nod from Kathelyn. "And belonging to him, it means I'm your senior and it's my duty to educate you."

In a second she was on her knees but not bowing, no, she was sobbing, crying, hiccupping, like a pathetic girl she was... suddenly she felt warm, it was a foreigner feeling to her... no she knew this feeling, but she didn't recognize, forcing herself to see what it was, a voice came into her ear. "The door is in front of you... if this is too much for you Kat, you can run away... I promise you won't remember this." Again that sweet and inviting voice as Kathelyn realized what was happening. Bellatrix Black was hugging her, lovingly, carefully, like she was the most precious thing in the world. Although, Kathelyn also knew about the big and vicious smirk on her face... her mistress' face.

"N-no, I want to stay... please teach me, my mistress... teach about everything." Her mind didn't process what she said, she knew what these words entailed, but it came out involuntarily. She finally gave up, now she only had to wait and see what the darkness was like.

"Good my little pet... I promise to teach you everything... and when I finish, you will be reborn." Then she broke the hug. "Up."

With those words, Kathelyn was on her feet. "You can go now, every day you will be here... and we will begin your training, I don't want you to be late, understood?"

"Y-yes... m-mistress." Her answer came weakly.

"Good. Now you can go." Bellatrix waved her hand in a dismissive way.

With a reluctant bow, she turned to leave.

"Wait." She stopped at Bellatrix's voice. When she turned around she met a hard slap that made her stumble backward.

"W-wha..." confusion spread to her body as she gripped her stinging cheek.

"This is your punishment for earlier, you don't come to me demanding anything, are we understood? You, pet, need to get to know your place first, your master comes first." And with that Bellatrix was gone.

Kathelyn knew one thing, the price she had to pay to have her revenge would be a tumultuous path.

Flashback end: Kathelyn Bell, Bell residence.

After that, every day she went to that bathroom, and her training started, both as a 'perfect pet', as her mistress liked to call her behavior from now on, and her magical skills. While the latter, she was impressed, as she learned a lot, her training as a 'pet' was something… sick.

One thing she learned about her mistress, she was crazy. Her devotion to Harry Potter was so surreal, she felt revulsed because literally, Bellatrix was converting her to do the same. And Karhelyn had to let her do it.

As the days passed, her whole mind engraved and started to accept every word from Bellatrix, she was nothing more than a slave in everything but name.

But deep inside she convinced herself she was doing this until she got her revenge.

But the sweet words, penetrated her so deep that she only discovered she was so deep in the 'darkness' when the Cruciatus she learned with Bellatrix reached Witlock, when she finished giving him pain, she looked at the boy who allowed her to finally release the weight from her body and understood what her mistress meant, that day she came to accept the one who could give her everything she craved for, and this was Lord Harry Potter.

Harry Potter, Hogwarts Express.

The crimes of Harry Potter, that was what he called his campaign until now. Harry gave a lot of time to think over his actions and he couldn't come up with a better name for it. Since he... traveled in time he wasn't the same, his life was different, everything was different. The only thing that remained was his hate for Tom Riddle.

As he sat quietly in his usual compartment he gazed towards the window, lost in thoughts. Recently, his mind deviated towards simple questions. Yet they were hard to answer, his morals. He knew his objectives, but what could he do to achieve them?

Since he had that dream, that encounter with the entity that called itself Death, he came to accept his role to be the number one enemy of Voldemort, of course, Death also told him to live his life, and he did as Dorea and Charlus helped him understand what having parents was like and it was wonderful. But thoughts plagued him, thoughts of losing them plagued his mind.

He couldn't get out of the conversation he had with Dorea. He had not only made her sad, but the feeling of her being disappointed with him, stung. He had lost control that day. Still, it was not an excuse for his actions.

Kathelyn Bell was a recent addition to this party. He couldn't blame Bellatrix for anything, he did not imagine this would happen. Bellatrix didn't do this out of pure pleasure, not completely anyway. She wasn't stupid, and she saw Harry trying to recruit people and Bell was the perfect target to persuade and gain her complete loyalty, just like she gave to him.

But the difference was her choice, Bell thought... It was complicated. And like he told Dorea he should really say it was everything a game or not even listen to the girl because he saw how broken she was.

As his thoughts plagued his mind the compartment suddenly opened and the two girls he was thinking about appeared there. Bellatrix used her usual shy happy smile when she was with him, but Bell's expression made him flinch. Blank, expressionless, indescribable, he didn't know what hit her more, at least the light on her eyes came back, she didn't look like when he met her the first time. There she saw a broken and weak girl drowned in desperation and grief now he saw a merciless and emotionless killer, and he was the factory that created her.

When the door closed they did as he already expected they bowed and said at the same time "My Lord." Although, this time he didn't feel the urge to groan or correct them, instead he just grunted and gestured to them to sit.

Bellatrix sat beside him as the other girl in front of him, as he slowly directed his gaze outside, resuming his thoughts.

As he resumed his thoughts unconsciously she glanced at Bell, and remembered the conversation they had that day at the cabin soon after he had a conversation with his mom.

She was completely different; she only listened to him talk and agreed with everything he said, which Harry didn't like at all. Leading him to talk with Bellatrix, how did she learn the Cruciatus already, at least she wasn't the one to teach her nor was her father or any of her family.

When confronting her he learned one thing, Bellatrix was smarter than she was already was, she got a poorly written book on Knockturn Alley, she bought at a high price but still taught her the principles, the rest was all her own self-study. Harry wouldn't chastise her for wanting to learn, so he did the only thing he asked for her to stop trying to teach others without his permission and in return he would teach her properly, and she was more than glad to attend his wishes.

As for the conversation with his mother, right now he wanted to think about it, but all he was feeling was guilt, guilt about dragging a lovely woman like Dorea, a woman who welcomed him with open arms and a woman who he now called mother to his own mess.

So right now Harry needed to get his mind out of his problems, at least for now, he needed to relax, and the best way he knew was playing Quidditch. It was finally time for the star seeker to shine again.

Time passed and Harry kept buried in his own thoughts not even realizing that the train started moving.

"Harry... Harry... not this again... HARRY POTTER." A voice arrived in his ears. so Loud enough that it buzzed for a minute, giving him discomfort before he could even see who it was.

Looking to his side, he could still see Kathelyn sit there with an expressionless face, Bellatrix glaring angrily at one David Davis. Beside him was the shy and meek Tarou Ito and surprisingly beside the Japanese boy was Florian Greengrass, who stood there amused by the situation. And then there was Xeno who looked the same as always.

"Don't you see he's deep in thought... then shut up." Bellatrix snarled at Davis.

David, who was afraid of Bellatrix shrugged nonchalantly and said. "Then... I don't know, you could poke him, darling."

That was a huge mistake, Harry knew wasn't intentional, but the way the angry Bellatrix expression turned one of pure rage and distaste, made him intervene.

"Wha... Hey guys." He said looking again at the compartment, there stood three Slytherins, one Gryffindor, and one Ravenclaw sitting with him. "Sorry for that."

"Mate, you're doing this... dreaming while awake very often... you fucked up again didn't you?" It was so innocent that Harry didn't get mad at David's question.

Harry ran his hand through his hair and nodded slowly. "Yeah, but we can talk about this later. So what did you wanna know?"

David at this point was wide-eyed, the movement of Harry's hand and the way his eyes looked down, was a clear sign he fucked up.

"Ooh, I'm sorry mate, I... " He tried but was interrupted.

"Shut it, Davis, will ya." Bellatrix said annoyingly.

David nodded quickly. "Right... Uhm so... Xeno my man, how was your summer?" David quickly changed subjects in a poor and ridiculous way.

Xeno, being Xeno with a 'Luna look' on his face, kept staring at David for a minute before answering. "I have fallen in love."

Harry sweatdropped while David's eyes widened as he stood frozen. No one spoke, even the mighty Bellatrix stood in place looking bored but still quiet.

"With who?... or with what?" Harry was the first to compose himself.

"I don't know..." More confusion while David finally breathed again while glaring at Xeno.

"Shit mate, please don't say this while you stare at me so intently... I almost had a heart attack. Of course, I would be flattered by it, but I play on the other team, you know... I like..." Again thankfully he was cut off.

"Shut it, Davis." Thanks Bellatrix.

"Yes, ma'am" David even straightened himself on his seat.

A minute of silence later Harry asked again. "What do you mean, you don't know?"

After another silence Xeno said. "I saw her today... beautiful." Harry sweatdropped again.

"Just like that? Well, that's a surprise... " Indeed it was. Although, after Harry tried to end their conversation there Xeno still spoke.

"I'm going to marry her..." then Xeno stopped, his Luna-like face even shining brightly.

Harry just kept staring at the boy' 'how the heck does he do this?'

Finally clearing his throat, he turned to Blellatrix who had her boring expression on her face and asked. "Where's Andi?"

The boring expression immediately vanished and she smiled at him. "Probably, Cissy made her stay with Malfoy and his friends."

"Oh, so Lord Black went with the marriage contract?" Harry asked a little uncertain how to feel, he needed to keep an eye on Malfoy, for any signs of him joining his arch enemy.

"I wouldn't call it a marriage contract... Cissy said, Lord Black called it a courtship contract, there a more liberties, between both parts, but they still had to stay truthful between the two, there is another rules, but overall they aren't dating, only knowing each other, until they decide they really want to pursue a marriage contract." Bellatrix explained as everyone kept their attention on her.

Harry was really surprised it seems Lord Black took his advice at heart. "I see, so it's a contract for the two of them to know each other? They aren't tied together."

Bellatrix nodded, still smiling. "That's correct my Lord."

T hearing her response some of Harry's friends stood shocked at Bellatrix; "What did she called you?" Greengrass asked who was easily dismissed by Harry. "We really are taking this group seriously aren't we?"

"Mate, did she call you Lord?" Davis asked slowly finally getting out of his shock.

Inhaling deeply Harry nodded nonchalantly and waved his hand. "Yeah, yeah... you know what... I'm gonna sleep, wake me when we arrive."

"Oi, don't ignore me!" David said indignantly.

"Davis...shut up." Thanks Bellatrix.

"Yes, ma'am."

To the side Kathelyn watched all quietly while her mind drifted to how could Harry Potter change so abruptly from a merciless wizard to a simple boy with a variety of friends.

Flashback: Kathelyn Bell. Bell Residence.

Eating with her father became an activity she disliked within her core, until the two weren't finished she couldn't leave and there wouldn't have conversations at all or he would start lecturing her about the 'bad' and random behaviors she had or something she did.

The food she ate made her miss Hogwarts even knowing that place brought her sadness as much as home did, but at least in Hogwarts her secrets and her shackles locked tight on her father, were released for a short period of time. She actually felt free.

Munching slowly as her father read whatever news he could find in the newspaper, she busied herself with a book that Bellatrix gave to her. Mind Arts. If she could say one thing about it, it would be hard. One had to have a very strong mind to be able to master it, or even reach decent levels of understanding, but her black haired tormentor insisted for her to read and understand all of it, for the sake of 'her Lord'.

Her fourth year in Hogwarts showed to be quite... shitty. Yes, that was the exact word she was looking for. Being bullied, shaming herself, crying nights after nights and finally enslaving herself to a sociopath named Bellatrix Black.

During her 'training' she was treated worse than the lowest of the animals. Bellatrix took well the job as her Mistress, humiliating her, hitting her and sometimes even casting spells on her.

But in Kathelyn's mind it was all worth it, 'her Mistress' promised her Witlock after all, as long as she could have her revenge, she didn't care about being a slave, a pet or whatever they wanted her to be.

Spending time with Black made Kathelyn got a grasp on her personality. Being punished also made her observe the girl's behavior so she could avoid future punishments or avoid the mistakes.

Kathelyn could see Bellatrix wasn't only doing what she did to gain her 'loyalty', Bellatrix wanted to brainwash her, it all involved Harry Potter.

Kathelyn once scoffed at the mention of his name and it was the first time she experienced the red light, it only lasted two seconds, but for her it felt like hours.

Her body shook in pain, her limbs went stiff and she couldn't bear with the heat that her body went through. She wanted to kill herself only to make the pain go away.

But that made her learn a lesson, don't scoff at Harry Potter. Actually, don't mention his name at all, she should be addressing him with respect, as Bellatrix teaches. It made her really sick.

As her food was near the end a sudden flapping wings sound reached her ears, she permitted herself to glance towards the noise. Thinking it would be one of her father's owls she didn't pay much attention, but it landed beside her.

Surprise crossed her face before glancing at her father. He gave her a disapproving look from the edge of his eyes, but didn't comment on it.

Reaching for the letter the beautiful bird dropped, she swiftly started to open and read the letter.

The initial surprise quickly changed to a grim look seeing who was the one writing to her, but it vanished as quickly as before to surprise and then euphoria when the following words were stuck in her mind understanding what the letter was implying.

'The time has come, meet me at this address.' The final words could mean a lot of things, but for Kathelyn it meant only one thing, it's time for her revenge.

The letter also informed her of the Floo address and the time she had been requested, even if she still had time, her impatience was too much to bear and for the following hours she tried to calm herself doing different things.

Then it finally came, eagerly she walked down the stairs 9f her house towards their Floo to be greeted by her father, and for the first time the thought of her father being annoying crossed her mind.

"Kathelyn? Where are you going to dress like that?" He asked, with his eyes still on the papers he was reading.

Kathelyn actually pondered before answering, her first instinct would be to tell him nowhere and actually don't go, her second option would be telling him everything and he called her crazy and deny what she wanted, but she had a third option and that was what she chose.

"It's none of your business." If there was a response from her father she didn't hear it, because she was already gone.

In a flash Kathelyn found herself in a small yet luxurious sitting room. Hoping to find Black... she found herself very disappointed because the only thing to greet her was silence.

Looking around she started to feel peaceful, weird right? But the silence provided her with a calm aura.

Suddenly the sentiment of being alone suddenly vanished when a house-elf appeared before her making a face of suspicion. "Who's you?"

Kathelyn actually didn't know what to say, she opened and closed her mouth several times before frowning deeply. "Well, uhm... Mistr... I mean Bellatrix Black invited me here... whatever 'here' is." She finished glancing around her one more time.

The she-elf, still looking suspiciously at Kathelyn opened her mouth to say something only to be interrupted by the fireplace turning green and a regal yet snobbish looking Bellatrix stepped through it.

One step, two steps then a quick look around Bellatrix finally spotted the human and creature looking directly at her.

"You're early." No polite greetings, no sympathy, no manners. Kathelyn was greeted with rudeness and with superiority.

Normally one would scoff or ignore the curly haired black remarks, but Kathelyn learned that Black was not to be crossed and like she said before, her whole being was already sold out to her.

So, bowing respectfully and with courtesy. "Good day Mistress... I arrived at the scheduled time, like you instructed."

Bellatrix, not reacting at all casted a 'Tempus' spell and instantly raised her eyebrows. "It seems I let my Lord wait." She said in an almost scolding tone to herself. Clearing her throat Bellatrix then glances at a more relaxed elf. "Tammy, where's Lord Harry Potter?"

Tammy bowed as well and answered. "Master Harry is in his room."

Nodding, Bellatrix waved her hand dismissively. "You're dismissed Tammy, I'll find my Lord myself."

With that, Kathelyn watched the elf pop away and Bellatrix started walking, not even glancing at her a second time.

Following Bellatrix, who seemed to know where she was going, couldn't help and ask. "Where are we?"

Still walking graciously and not glancing at her Bellatrix responded. "We are at our Lord's home... I mean, at my aunt's home."

Why she corrected herself so quickly, Kathelyn didn't know, but she was very impressed with how expensive this place looked.

The Bell's were a wealthy family, Kathelyn could live comfortably for years, although it could never be compared to the wealth that families like the Potters and Blacks had. Even if the Potters didn't like to show their wealth openly.

Kathelyn was so distracted while she looked around that she almost bumped on Bellatrix when she suddenly stopped in front of a random door.

Kathelyn watched as Bellatrix looked down at herself measuring if she looked presentable before patting her robes and clearing her throat. Graciously the Black girl knocked on the door.

Soon after a voice came from the other side, a voice Kathelyn could recognize as Harry Potter's. "Yes?"

Bellatrix cocked her head upwards slightly before answering. "It's Bellatrix, my Lord."

Immediately the voice was heard again. "Ah Bellatrix. Give me a minute so I can change."

Even if Harry wasn't seeing them Bellatrix bowed deeply. "As you wish, my Lord." But she didn't move.

A silence overcame them but was quickly broken when Harry's voice passed through the door once more. "You can wait at the sitting room Bellatrix."

Once again she bowed and thanked Harry before moving in another direction towards, what Kathelyn assumed, the sitting room.

Entering the sitting room, Kathelyn looked around taking every detail of the marvelous comfortable room.

Differently from the room she was in earlier, this was bigger and more inviting, while the other seemed more relaxing, if they could be described as such.

Kathelyn watched as Bellatrix sat in one of the many armchairs the room had and while crossing a leg on top of the other she called. "Tammy."

The elf popped with a bow. "Yes missy Bella?"

"Tea with milk. A sugar cube as well." Bellatrix ordered while she played with her wand as her violet eyes locked with Kathelyn brown ones.

Tammy then turned to Kathelyn but Bellatrix was faster. "She wants nothing."

Tammy bowed once more and popped away.

"So much to be polite." Kathelyn grumbled.

"Politeness is for guests, you on the other hand are not." Bellatrix stated calmly.

Kathelyn wisely chose to stay quiet as the elf popped again bringing the tea for her Mistress.

Kathelyn watched Bellatrix with a keen eye as Bellatrix with the same graciousness as before as she picked up the cup of tea and brought it slowly to her mouth. Bellatrix took the sweet scent that came from the tea and with a small delicate sip and savored it.

"I'm being patient with you." The sudden change of boredom to fierce anger startled Kathelyn. "You better show our Lord respect... because if you don't, I'll make it hurt." Bellatrix finished with another sip of her tea. "Hurt real bad."

Kathelyn stared wordlessly at Bellatrix for some minutes, but when she opened her mouth to say something the door opened.

Walking through the door Kathelyn recognized the boy with raven hair and green eyes, his guard was down, she could see a more relaxed and for the brief time she knew him, a normal boy.

In the exact moment he entered Bellatrix was already on her feet bowing slightly. Harry caught her eyes first and gave a courtesy nod, but when his eyes landed on Kathelyn he seemed to freeze.

Kathelyn stared intently at Harry, watching his every movement, her attention only changed to Bellatrix when she heard the noises of teeth grinding and screeching on each other.

Beatrix was not happy, not happy at all. All the effort she spent teaching the unworthy girl, so when she met her Lord again, she disrespected him in such a manner? Unforgivable.

Somewhat fortunately for Kathelyn the grounding noises were sufficiently for her to realize what it meant. And slowly and reluctantly she lowered her head. To tell the truth it was a pathetic bow, if it could be called that.

"Ms. Bell... what are you doing here?" Asked the raven haired boy.

At his intense faze she gulped, not only his but Bellatrix murderous one as well. She opened her mouth slightly with the intention to talk, but for some reason she couldn't l, she hesitated.

If the lingering silence wasn't enough to make it all awkward, her unableness to talk was worse. After some minutes his gaze broke from her and Harry glanced at Bellatrix with narrowed eyes.

"What is Bell doing in my house Bellatrix?" He asked in a careful, dangerous tone.

Kathelyn glanced at Bellatrix, the anger expression totally vanished, now she seemed to be squirming under Potter's gaze.

Bellatrix took her time, for some reason her Lord seemed displeased. "My Lord... she came to swear her undying loyalty to you."

Silence. The only noise that was heard after a short time was a scoff coming from Kathelyn's mouth. " I didn't come here for this. You promised me Witlock, and I'm gonna get it." Kathelyn glared at the two simultaneously.

Kathelyn watched as Potter's face went from suspicion to confusion and finally anger mixed with frustration. He glared between her and Bellatrix with such intensity that made her muscles stiffen, her fear started rising as well. For all Bellatrix's teachings she learned not to never disrespect Potter, and she just did that, but before she could correct her mistake, Potter's glare fixed on Bellatrix.

"Care to explain Bellatrix. You bring her to my home and she has these crazy ideas in her head. Since when have I told you to reach out for her?" He inquired in a dangerous tone.

For the brief time Kathelyn spent with Bellatrix, never in her wildest nightmares, she would see Bellatrix Black squirming that way. The girl sulked a little as her mouth opened and closed rapidly trying to form words but failing miserably. But Kathelyn wasn't so surprised until she heard Bellatrix stammer with a small and submissive voice. "B-but, M-my Lord you a-alowed me t-to do i-it."

Kathelyn saw Potter open his mouth obviously to rage at her but stopped midway, his voice certainly stuck in his throat. His expression that showed anger, changed to confusion then realization.

"Y-yes I did... but not like this... bloody Merlin." Potter murmured the last words in frustration. "You know what… never mind." Then Potter turned towards her. "Whatever Bellatrix said to you, forget it. Go back home and do whatever you do on the weekend."

Kathelyns eyes narrowed at Potter, anger started to build within her core. "Go back? After everything I went through, everything I suffered, everything I left behind... I won't go home." Her tone showed conviction.

But whatever she expected Potter to say was thrown off by Bellatrix growl. "Suffered? It seems I lacked in my teachings. The disrespect you're showing will be corrected later. You already sold yourself... "

"Shut up." Potter snarled and glanced at the two of them, both stiffened at his voice. "What do you want from me, Bell?"

"What you promised. I gave everything I have to you and now that you have what I want you deny it to me?"

"I didn't promise shit to you." Potter frowned.

"But your little 'slave' here did." She countered.

Potter glanced at Bellatrix who was glaring at Bell with clenched fists and teeth ready to lounge herself at her.

"What did she promise?" His tone subdued.

"That I could have Witlock." She spat the man's name.

Potter seemed to ponder for a moment, debating with himself his choices. "Fine you can come, but you do what I told. I am calling the shots here, do you understand?"

Kathelyn stoically watched him before nodding reluctantly, but inside she screamed in joy for getting what she wanted.

"And you Bellatrix, we're going to have a talk later." He huffed, but by his tone he didn't seem angry with her, but with himself.

Kathelyn saw Bellatrix cringe under his gaze. "Yes, my Lord."

"Come on you two, we have a man to get information from." Then they left.

Kathelyn was impressed how serious Potter was about this 'war', arriving at what seemed a base of his, they found adults, and half of them seemed to respect Potter as a leader. She got a lot of strange and suspicious looks, but she didn't care and she was glad that Potter went for the main event without delay. And soon enough she was face to face with her mother's murderer Winston Witlock. But again she was denied her revenge.

While Potter invaded Witlock's mind she expectantly waited for her turn with Bellatrix murmuring in her ears, promising her pain for the disrespect she showed earlier. While this happened she cursed them.

But everything changed when she saw the red light. The familiar Cruciatus Curse red light, fear started to grow inside her with Potter mercilessly, she never imagined something like this, Bellatrix who stood at her side, was trembling in joy and excitement at seeing Potter rage at man.

Then he stopped and strolled right at her, grabbed her arm and said. "You wanted your revenge, here it is." She didn't move, only stared at him. "What? Are you cowering now, huh? Such big words and promises to stay still. Worthless." He spat at the end making something and inside her.

"I'm no coward." Kathelyn snarled.

"Then what are you waiting for?" He asked coldly.

That stuck her hard. Why was she existing? Her revenge was on her bare hands. Why was she afraid of inflicting her mother's murderer pain? She didn't know.

"I... I... " Unformed words escaped her mouth as Potter stoically stared at her.

"He's your father." Potter muttered dangerously.

"What?" She asked almost in a dazed confused tone.

"This man in front of us, Winston Witlock, is your birth father." Potter said again, no emotion whatsoever coming from him.

Outrageous, this wasn't time for jokes, but the way he said and his face expression made Kathelyn cringe. "What are you saying?"

"Ask him." He motioned to the man gagged in front of her.

Kathelyn glanced back and forth before staring at Potter. "Stop joki..."

"I said to ask him. I saw his memories of Bell, like I did to you." Cold and merciless voice rose from the bottom of his throat.

She stared at him for a while before slowly turning to Witlock. He was staring at her with the biggest wide eyes she ever saw.

Wetting her lips Kathelyn unconsciously moved to wipe some sweat forming in her forehead. "What's he saying? Is what he is saying the truth?"

Witlock said nothing, not only because of the girl in front of him. But because h3 also couldn't. But the gag quickly vanished from his mouth allowing him to speak, scream and make noises.

"Answer her." Potter commanded.

Witlock still did nothing. Only kept staring at Kathelyn. As for Kathelyn, she watched meticulously the man in front of her, already knowing the outrageous answer that would come from him. "Is what he said true?"

Still no answer.

"Is what he said true?" She asked again, raising her voice at each word spoken.

The man still chose to be quiet, confirming all Kathelyn's questions.

"W-what... H-how is this possible?" She stammered in disbelief.

Potter glared at the man as he spoke slowly. "Are you going to tell her willingly or she'll have to make you talk?"

Kathelyn glanced at Potter when again no answer came from the man, understanding the meaning of his words.

Slowly yet reluctantly she raised her wand in the air. Her mind processing all the information Bellatrix taught her about the Cruciatus and in an exact same movement the word 'Crucio' came out from Kathelyn's mouth like a howling wolf and the nasty red light came to life hitting the bound man who screamed in agony.

"What he said was true?" She screamed, hoping to be a lie.

It took several minutes until Witlock gave in. "P-please. Stop. YES, it's true." He stopped and screamed between words, the Cruciatus finally fading.

Panting and in bad shape Witlock continued. "I loved your mother." He enraged Kathelyn even more, she went for a second strike but Potter held her back.

"She never paid attention to me. When I was a boy, I saw her walking around the house..."

"WHAT?" You lived together?"

"She never told you then? I should've known. Her maiden name was Witlock, she was my cousin and I had her, until that Bell scum came to the picture, she had to fall in love with him." He spat.

A lot of questions came to her frozen mind, but she couldn't help and ask. "How did it happen?"

There was a pause before Witlock grinned. "On the day of her wedding I took her..." whatever he was going to say he was stopped by Cruciatus again.

"You raped her? You sick bastard." The piercing scream of Kathelyn Bell surpassed Witlock scream of agony by far. Her raging made the adults uncomfortable in the room.

As for Kathelyn, she committed what she craved, revenge. That day Winston Witlock was no more.

Flashback end:

From that day onwards Kathelyn Bell discovered the evil within herself, in Harry Potter, in Bellatrix Black, in all human beings around her. It didn't matter who I was, there was always a dark place in the hearts of everyone.
