A couple of weeks later at the Time Nest, Chronoa had been once again checking her scrolls. There hasn't been anything major happening in any of the timelines just yet. The Kai should be grateful but it also worried her. She knew Towa, Mira and the others were still out there, ready to strike at any moment.
"Supreme Kai of Time?" Came Cabba's voice.
Chronoa turned around in surprise, "Oh, Cabba, didn't expect to see you here. Another date with Pan?"
"I wouldn't call them dates, we're just hanging out," Cabba insisted.
"Same thing basically, fact is you only come to ether see Pan or do a mission for me, and I don't have any missions," Chronoa said. "How did you even get here?"
"I contacted Trunks, honestly the lack of missions is partially why I'm here, I am getting a bit worried," Cabba said. "Seems like there's been no sign of Towa, Sealas or their sinister creations. There's no way they could have given up could they?"
"Absolutely not, they're way too stubborn to consider such a possibility," Chronoa said. "Unfortunately there is no way to tell for sure. They might be planning something big, that or they decided to take a nice vacation."
"Well even villains need a break, don't they?" Cabba said.
"Maybe...anyway I'm sorry if you came here for nothing, you're free to remain in Conton City, I believe you're familiar with the training facility here," Chronoa said. "I haven't seen Pan around, I don't know if she's coming. I could contact her if you wish."
"That's fine, if anything I thought I could go and see her myself," Cabba said.
"Oh, you want to go see Pan?" Chronoa asked. "I can definitely arrange that, I bet she'll love seeing you."
"Well I like seeing her, she's a really great girl," Cabba said. "Little bossy but also very determined. I really like her go-getter attitude."
"Right, Saiyan guys like girls who are strong willed," Chronoa said. "And Pan is especially strong willed."
"Well, yeah, I mean our relationship is strictly friendly, I don't have any romantic feelings for her," Cabba insisted.
"Well she might for you, so tread carefully if you're going to go by that notion," Chronoa said, opening up the portal. "There you go."
"Thanks," Cabba said, about to step in.
"Hey, I don't know what your concern is about dating Pan, but I think she'll really like you so don't be too shy in telling her how you feel," Chronoa said.
"Uh, thanks, but I really don't like her that way, she's a bit young for me," Cabba said.
"Is she really?" Chronoa asked, in an almost sly tone.
Cabba rolled his eyes, "I'm going." In an instant Cabba had jumped through the portal, landing near the house belonging to Gohan, Videl and Pan. Cabba has rarely been here, so he hasn't had much of a chance to take in the sights.
"It's a great place," Cabba commented and knocked on the door. "I hope she doesn't mind me coming over, maybe I should have asked The Supreme Kai of Time to let her know so I don't-"
Moments later, the door was answered by Videl, "Oh, hello there, can I help you?"
"Uh yes, my name's Cabba," the boy introduced. "I'm here to see Pan, is she home?"
"Cabba?" Videl took a moment to register the name. "Oh, you're the boy she's been talking about! Come on in!"
"Thanks ma'am," Cabba said, making his way in the house.
"Don't be so formal, Videl is fine," the mother of one said. "Pan! You have a visitor!"
"Is it Bulla!?" Pan said, making her way into the living room. To her surprise she saw Cabba standing there.
"Uh, hi Pan," Cabba greeted.
"Cabba!" Pan looked very surprised to see the boy. "Oh wow, um, I had no idea you'd be here!"
"I'm sorry if I came at a bad time, if you can't see me I can always come back later," Cabba insisted.
Pan shook her head in the contrary, "No, it's fine, I'm actually happy to see you. I'm just surprised you're here, I didn't expect to see you for a couple of days."
"Well I was off today and I kind of wanted to come by and maybe spend some time with you," Cabba said. "If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them."
Pan squealed in excitement, the fact that Cabba came from another timeline just to see her on his day off spoke volumes to the girl. "I have some ideas, let's go!"
"Do you need time to-" Cabba was pulled by the wrist. "Whoa!"
"Let's go see a movie together! There's this new one that looks really cool!" Pan said, dragging Cabba outside. "I'll see you later tonight mom!"
"Bye honey!" Videl said, waving her daughter good-bye. "He seems like a nice boy, he might be a good fit for Pan."
The two had flown toward a movie theater, though on the way, Pan had spotted Capsule Corp. "Oh right, I should re-introduce you to Bulla, she's been asking about you."
"Oh yeah, I haven't seen Bulla in a long time, wonder how her training is going?" Cabba wondered.
"Let's see for ourselves," Pan flew down toward Capsule Corp with Cabba in tow.
The two stopped before the door, Pan taking a moment to knock and await an answer. She got one seconds later in the form of Vegeta. "Oh, it's you Pan."
"Hi Vegeta, is Bulla home?" Pan asked, not even minding Vegeta's lackluster greeting.
"She just finished a training session with me, so she's very exhausted, if you're gonna see her make it quick, she needs rest," Vegeta said, then took note of Cabba. "Do I know you?"
"I'm Cabba, we met on the Prison Planet, you helped me fight off Slug and Turles," the boy reminded.
"Slug and Turles?" Vegeta took a moment to recall. "Oh right, that evil Namekian and evil Saiyan. I remember. You're from another timeline where I am your mentor. A Saiyan from another Universe."
"Yes, Universe Six, " Cabba explained. "I don't suppose you had a chance to meet me in this timeline, have you?"
"No, not yet at least," Vegeta said. "Traveling to another Universe seems impossible for me right now, I'm not sure how I did it in your timeline."
"Either the God of Destruction an their Angel can help, or even the Supreme Kai," Cabba said. "Basically most deities."
"Ah, well I don't keep in contact with my Supreme Kai and I have not met the God of Destruction," Vegeta said.
"Makes sense, it's why we haven't met yet," Cabba said.
"Well anyway, go inside if you wish to see my daughter, but like I said, make it quick," Vegeta said.
"Uh, yes sir," Cabba said.
"You got it," Pan agreed and pulled Cabba inside. "Let's hurry!"
The two made their way through the building. It was pretty large, Cabba amazed by the size. "Is this really someone's house?"
"That and a place to work," Pan said. "Bulla's grandpa invented something called Hoi Poi Capsules, or Dyno Caps as some people call them. They're devices that can carry around large objects in a small space."
"That's fascinating! It makes carrying around supplies so much easier!" Cabba commented.
"It really comes in handy, especially when you can fit just about anything into a tiny little capsule," Pan said.
"Maybe I can get some for my fellow soldiers in Sadala's army," Cabba said. "Once I go back to my own timeline, I can try to ask the Bulma there more about it."
"That sounds like a solid idea," Pan said, taking note of the area they were both in. "We're almost at Bulla's room."
The two arrived at the door to her room, Pan taking the initiative to knock. "Bulla?"
"Pan? Is that you? Hold on, I'll let you in," Bulla said, opening up the door. "I'm so happy to-"
It was then Cabba caught sight of Bulla completely underdressed, only wearing her panties and the article of clothing her name resembled.
"Cabba don't look!" Pan said, turning to shield Cabba's eyes as Bulla quickly closed the door, "Sorry! I didn't expect you to be underdressed!"
"That's fine, mistakes happen!" Bulla said, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I didn't know you were bringing Cabba."
"We wanted to surprise you," Pan said, pulling away from Cabba. "Though I guess you surprised him."
"That's an understatement," Cabba said, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Bulla peeked from behind her door, "Hey Cabba, sorry for the surprise. At least you got to see a nice show."
"I'd rather not think of it that way," Cabba said.
"Aw, you're so pure," Bulla said. "You know, normally I wouldn't let a boy into my room while I'm underdressed but since you're such a nice boy, I can make an exception for you."
"Hey, are you trying to seduce him?" Pan accused.
"Who me? What makes you say that?" Bulla teased.
"Just get dressed, you won't be flaunting anything to Cabba today," Pan said.
"You're no fun," Bulla teased as she closed her door again. "Just give me a moment."
Cabba was still feeling a bit awkward from the recent exposure, once again he saw a girl he knew in a less than decent state. Granted Bulla was a bit more covered up than Pan was, the boy once again thinking back to seeing her bare breasts. Of course he started to mentally berate himself for remembering Pan like that.
"Are you feeling alright Cabba?" Pan asked. "That wasn't too surprising was it?"
"Well it was certainly unexpected," Cabba said. "Looks like I have weird luck when it comes to the sight of girls lately."
"Don't think about it too much, not like Bulla cared," Pan said. "We're all friends after all."
"Seems like she might want more than friendship," Cabba said.
"Come on, she's just teasing," Pan said. "I mean, not that you aren't attractive enough for her to want to genuinely flirt with you."
"So she's not just a flirt by nature?" Cabba asked.
"Well, she sometimes is, but other times she can be genuine," Pan said. "With you, it's definitely genuine. Not that she's expecting you to completely fall for her, but she won't turn you down if it actually works."
"Well I am flattered, though sometimes it is hard for me to tell if a girl is being genuine or not," Cabba said. "Most Saiyan women I know can be extremely flirty, even Caulifla flirts on occasion, despite being with Kale."
"Are they actually a couple? I honestly thought they were sisters," Pan said.
"Well Kale does call Caulifla 'Big Sis', but that's more of a term of affection," Cabba said. "But I've been around them long enough to know that they're both really close, but that doesn't stop Caulifla from 'inviting me in'. Kale doesn't appreciate that, and she gets a bit jealous of me since Caulifla does give me a lot of attention."
"She doesn't hate you, does she?" Pan asked.
"No, she does see me as a comrade and she does have faith in me, plus if I'm ever in danger she would try to help," Cabba said. "She knows it's not really my fault that Caulifla gets a bit flirty, but she has asked me to be a little more firm about turning her down."
"I can't blame Kale for being worried, if I had someone I liked flirting with someone else, then I'd get a little jealous too," Pan said.
Suddenly the door had opened, "So, you'd be jealous of me if I tried stealing away Cabba from you Pan?"
Pan grew a bit frustrated, "Grow up, will you?"
"I'm just teasing, wow you get so easily frazzled," Bulla said, rubbing Cabba's head, the boy sheepishly turning away. "But I can't blame you, if you really like this boy then you better fight for him."
"Hey lay off," Pan warned, swatting off Bulla's hand.
"Fine, I'll try to resist," Bulla joked. "So what brings you here?"
"Well I did come to re-introduce you to Cabba, somewhat regretting it," Pan said.
"You brought a cute boy to my room, what did you think I was gonna be this prim and proper girl?" Bulla asked.
"My only regret is bringing you here while you were changing, I think the excitement got to you," Pan said. "Thankfully not so much for Cabba."
"Oh he was plenty excited, he's just too much of a gentleman to really make a comment," Bulla said. "But you get a pass Cabba, so if you see that sight again, I won't blame you if you made a flattering remark."
"Stop flirting with him already!" Pan warned. "Ugh, maybe now isn't the best time, your dad said to make the visit brief anyway."
"Well not this brief," Bulla said. "Hey Cabba, wanna see our garden? It's totally out of this world."
"What kind of comparison is that? Cabba himself is literally out of this world, he's not even from this timeline!" Pan pointed out.
"Let's not get into a disagreement," Cabba said, focusing his attention on Bulla. "I would like to see this garden you mentioned."
"Sweet, it's this way," Bulla said, gesturing Cabba to follow her, Pan doing the same.
"It's nice seeing more of this place," Cabba said, looking around the halls. "Last time I was here, I was mostly outside."
"Yeah, you weren't here that long, but we did appreciate your arrival," Bulla said. "You brought some interesting flare to our timeline. In fact the events leading to my dad going to that Prison Planet was because you came here. My dad's been so interested in that Super Saiyan Blue form, along with the other Universes."
"It's a hard form to get, though if he can do it in my timeline, there's no doubt he can do it here," Cabba said. "Though this Vegeta has that Super Saiyan 4 transformation, he might not even need Blue."
"That won't stop his curiosity," Bulla said. "I mean if you can access both transformations, then why not give it a chance, they might each have their own benifits."
"Good point," Cabba said. "I'm still trying to learn Super Saiyan Blue, but I am interested in Super Saiyan 4, so are Caulifla and Kale."
"Isn't it harder for you though?" Pan asked. "To go Super Saiyan 4, you need a tail, and the Universe Six Saiyans don't naturally have tails."
"Yeah, dad said Super Saiyan 4 is basically Super Saiyan channeling the power of the Great Ape Form, and that form only exists to those with tails, so I doubt even I can go Super Saiyan 4 since I wasn't born with a tail, neither was my brother."
"Papa is the only half Saiyan who was born with a tail," Pan pointed out. "Meaning he's probably the only one who can go Super Saiyan 4."
"Actually my mom has a theory that he might not be able to, but you'd need to ask her more on that, something about genetics," Bulla said. Before long they finally arrived at the garden. "Here we are."
"Oh wow..." Cabba said, walking inside the large dome. There was grass everywhere, some flowers, a pond, and many animals running around, including some dinosaurs. "This is amazing!"
"It's basically wild nature inside of a large building," Bulla said. "Pretty neat isn't it?"
"It's beyond neat, it's astonishing!" Cabba said, taking in the sights. "It looks so natural. All the animals too, so many of them."
"Yeah, my grandparents love them, they constantly watch over and take good care of them," Bulla said. "They love these animals so much they refused to leave them behind when the city was under attack from a monster."
"A monster?" Cabba asked.
"I don't know if you heard of a creature called 'Majin Buu', it's one of my dad's biggest battles," Bulla said.
"Oh I'm familiar, me and Pan ran into him during one of our missions," Cabba said.
"Oh yeah, your time patrol missions," Bulla said. "Can you tell me about them?"
"We can tell you a lot," Pan said. "Like when your dad first came to Earth, or our first encounter with Frieza, even Cell and Buu."
"Plus, you remember Fu right?" Cabba asked, getting a confirming nod. "We met his mother."
"His mother? What's she like?" Bulla asked.
"Well his mother Towa is just as much of a scientist, her goal is to go to these different timelines and steal power from various warriors to power up her creation Mira," Cabba said. "He's one powerful warrior, he was too much for myself and Pan."
"He got lucky, that's all," Pan said. "Next time I see him I'm gonna destroy him!"
"I'd actually rather not see him again," Cabba said. "It also looks like those two aren't alone, there's another being out there causing trouble with a creation of his own."
"Oh yeah, Sealas," Pan said. "I still kind of feel bad for the guy, I mean it seems like he just wants to help," Pan said.
"You heard the Supreme Kai of Time, what he's doing is against the rules," Cabba said. "If he erases all of time, that means we can't see each other anymore, at least not in this way. Keep in mind, in my timeline you're still an infant, and here I'm probably much older."
"Right, I would hate it if the two of us couldn't hang out anymore," Pan said.
"Same here, so you two make sure that Sealas guy doesn't mess anything up," Bulla said.
"We promise," Cabba reassured.
"Now what about my dad, what was he like?" Bulla asked.
"He...wasn't the nicest guy at first," Cabba said.
"Was he really that bad?" Bulla asked. "I mean I have heard stories but my dad's always been a bit of a softie deep down, at least for me."
"It was a surprise to me too, the Vegeta I know is a prideful warrior, but an honorable one too," Cabba said. "Of course he has told me he used to conquer planets, I'm just glad he put that life aside."
"Speaking of which, what about that Frieza guy that my dad used to work for?" Bulla asked.
"He's a creep," Cabba said, grimacing at the memory. "I mean he's always been a bit of a creep, even during The Tournament of Power, but this Frieza just felt more sadistic. Probably because he wasn't restricted by the Tournament Rules."
"Cell was a creep too," Pan said. "All his taunting and laughing, making everything and everyone seem like one big joke."
"He knew how to get in your head," Cabba said. "He nearly figured out who Pan and I were."
"If you saw Cell, did you also see my brother?" Bulla asked.
"You mean Trunks, yeah we saw him there," Pan said. "Another version of him is kind of our supervisor."
"Wait, so you basically work under my brother then?" Bulla asked. "That must be weird for you."
"A little, but it's not like he really gives us orders, that's more The Supreme Kai of Time," Pan said.
"We haven't had a chance to really see him fight though," Cabba said.
"Too bad, I've been interested in my brother from the future for a while," Bulla said. "It's weird seeing another version of my brother, one that's a lot more serious than the one here."
"Well that Trunks grew up in a Dystopian Future, so of course he grew up a bit differently," Pan said. "It's a good thing he came back in time to warn everyone, otherwise you and I wouldn't exist."
"So my brother is the true hero of our little story then," Bulla said. "The boy who saved the our timeline."
"Mine too, sorta," Cabba said. "I mean what happened affected his planet more so than mine, but if he hadn't kept Master alive, I never would have met him and I wouldn't be who I am now, plus Master's the one who helped expose my traitorous ally."
"I can only imagine what lives would have been affected if people out there have never met my dad or Goku," Bulla said. "Especially Goku, he's a very influential person, he's probably the reason my dad isn't our conquering planets."
"Goku has an affect on others," Cabba said. "Including Caulifa, and our ally Hit. He might have influenced other Universes as well."
"My grandpa made friends on a lot of different planets," Pan said. "He's very charismatic like that."
"Goku's a real likable person, aside from that moment in the Cell Games," Cabba said.
"Oh yeah, probably one of his worser days," Pan said.
"Huh? What did he do?" Bulla asked.
"He sent Papa out to fight Cell, when me and Cabba tried to help he kept telling us to stay out of his fight, and he kept nagging at Papa to fight harder," Pan said.
"I know Saiyans have a tendency to be hard on others but I always thought Goku was an exception to that," Cabba said. "Though maybe that moment for him is the reason he's much calmer nowadays, maybe he regrets putting his son in danger like that and didn't want to feel that way again."
"Seems a bit deep for grandpa, but it's still possible," Pan said, then checked the time. "Oh, we should be going, me and Cabba are gonna catch a movie."
"Oh, sweet, can I come?" Bulla asked.
"Your dad told you to rest," Pan said. "Besides I want to spend time with Cabba alone."
"Seriously? You spend time with Cabba all the time, you go on missions together to save time!" Bulla said.
"Well this is our down time," Pan explained.
"You girls said time like four times," Cabba joked, getting a brief glare from the two.
"Seriously, can I come? I'll ask my dad, he told me to rest he didn't say it had to be here," Bulla said.
Pan groaned in annoyance, and turned to Cabba. "Next time let's go to your timeline for privacy."
"My timeline, you mean where Caulifla and Kale are?" Cabba reminded.
"We'll just not make the same mistake twice," Pan said, then turned to Bulla. "Fine, ask your dad if you can come."
"Sweet, be back soon," Bulla said, rushing out the room.
"She's a really nice girl, I can see why you two are friends," Cabba said.
"Yeah, she is really nice, we bicker but she's probably the best friend I could have," Pan said. "She's one of the only people who don't freak out about my abilities. I mean I can barely make friends here because the moment someone sees me flying or blasting energy, they start to freak out."
"Guess Earthlings aren't properly prepared for something like that, most of them at least," Cabba joked.
"Even Bulma said when she first met my grandpa, she thought he was a monster because of how strong he was, that and he had a tail," Pan said.
"That reminds me, how is your grandpa in this timeline, is he still around?" Cabba asked. "Is he still a kid?"
"He left with Shenron, not sure where," Pan said. "It's one of his worst habits, always leaving for such a long period of time."
"Like what happened when he trained that Uub kid?" Cabba asked.
"I get that grandpa loves to train and he wants to improve the world but, papa has mentioned that each time he's away, grandma looks so lonely," Pan said. "I mean last time he left, he was gone for such a long time, apparently he barely keeps in touch with a lot of his friends. Vegeta says it's a Saiyan thing though, fighting first, friends and family later. Even he's like that, but since he's a Prince he also understands the value of family."
"Weird, I never really had that problem in Sadala," Cabba said. "I mean I have to be away from my family a lot but I still miss them. Maybe it's more of a Universe 7 Saiyan mindset to have."
"Amazing, you're a Saiyan just like Grandpa and Vegeta, yet you act so much differently," Pan said. "Same with Kale, she seems so dependent. Caulifla is probably the only one who can pass as a Universe 7 Saiyan."
"Yeah, but even she feels a sense of comradery," Cabba said. "Might be the evolution of our species, maybe back when Saiyans had tails, they were a bit more primal, as oppose to Saiyans in my Universe who aren't born with tails."
"Sounds possible," Pan said. "Seems like something we should ask a scientist."
"Maybe Bulma and Vegeta can answer that anomaly someday," Cabba said. "A genius and a Saiyan Prince, who better to help us figure it out?"
"Good idea," Pan said. "We'll uncover this soon."
Later, after Bulla had finished getting ready and basically begging her dad to let her go out, she had joined Cabba and Pan in an afternoon of fun. The three hung out together, went to the movies, strolled through the park, they even shopped around a mall district, getting Cabba to try out a few fancy looking clothes to make him seem like more of an Earth boy.
It was a fun day and that night, after dropping off Bulla. Cabba had brought Pan home, the two getting ready to say 'good-bye' at the front door.
"I had a lot of fun today," Pan said.
"Me too, we should do this again really soon," Cabba said. "Next time I'll give you a tour of Planet Sadala."
"Sounds fun," Pan said. "Well, goodnight Cabba."
"Goodnight Pan," Cabba said.
Leaning in, Pan planted a kiss on Cabba's cheek before heading inside, leaving the boy blushing from the affection. Part of Cabba liked it, but another part figured this would never work out, he still felt like the differences in age and timeline didn't do much to help.
He flew off, back to the Time Nest enroute to his return to Planet Sadala, where he would stay until the next task.
Meanwhile in the Z Timeline, Eighteen and Videl were once again bathing in the Hot Spring in the forest, the two relaxing after yet another training session.
"Think I've gotten much stronger?" Videl asked, checking her muscles.
"Yeah, you're getting stronger," Eighteen said. "I mean, I'm not good at sensing energy but I can see your improvement through our spars, you've improved a lot."
"How long before I'm at Gohan's level?" Videl asked.
"That...I'll give it to you straight, that might take a while," Eighteen said. "You're strong but Gohan is half-Saiyan, that gives him a much more immediate advantage."
"Well it's a goal at least," Videl said. "As long as there's hope then I'll definitely try to surpass him."
"Gohan's like a rival to you, isnt he?" Eighteen asked.
"In a way," Videl said. "He's around my age, yet he's so much stronger than I am, that kind of irks me a little. I mean, yeah he's half alien but what makes his alien race so special?"
"That I can't answer, I don't know much about Saiyans," Eighteen said. "It just seems like they're a group of warriors who are bred to do battle."
"Well they got the power for it," Videl said. "I kind of envy them honestly, seems like there isn't much they can't do."
"Aside from proper manners," Eighteen joked. "Strong as Goku us, doesn't change the fact that he is super immature, and Vegeta's such a whiney punk."
"Well he is a prince, probably feels entitled to whatever he wants," Videl joked.
"You got that right," Eighteen said. Within moments some rustling in the bushes could he heard. "Who's there?"
"Oh you girls are here?" Gohan asked, making his way over, holding his clothes and wearing just a towel around his waist. "I was hoping to come here to bathe."
"We'll be done shortly," Eighteen said.
"He can get in if he wants, I really don't care," Videl said.
"Sure about that?" Eighteen asked. "I mean, I know you talked this over with him once but still..."
"It's good, we're all friends here," Videl said, turning to face Gohan. "You can join us."
"Thanks," Gohan said, tossing his towel aside, exposing himself to both girls. Videl certainly liked what she saw, she almost started to desire it. Eighteen was also impressed, and eagerly awaited the day he was fully grown, figuring that will grow with him. Gohan floated and got into the water, relaxing his body immediately. "This feels great!"
"Were you out training just now?" Videl asked.
"Yeah, Seventeen and I were toughening ourselves up," Gohan explained.
"Seventeen!?" Videl looked around. "Is he coming?"
"No, Seventeen won't come if there's girls here, of course he barely likes bathing if I'm here," Gohan said.
"Aw..." Videl seemed a bit disappointed, this would have been a great time to bond with Seventeen, and get the two very comfortable with each other.
"Seventeen is somewhere in the forest, doing who knows what," Gohan said.
"He better not be causing any type of trouble," Eighteen said.
Meanwhile in the depths of the forest, Seventeen was seen petting a deer, feeding it a few berries he found. "Nature is so much better than civilization, out here there aren't a bunch of annoying rules to keep you from enjoying yourself."
Back with the others, Eighteen looked just about ready to leave, "Hey we should be heading back before you dad gets overly worried again."
"Ugh, I swear it's like if I'm gone more than two seconds he starts to panic," Videl said, stepping out of the water.
"He's just worried about you, after all you are his only daughter, plus you were captured by villains so of course he's gonna be that much worried," Eighteen said, also stepping out.
Gohan couldn't help but glance at the girls, though he did his best not to get caught. While Videl looked nice, Eighteen's breasts were a pleasure to the eyes. Then she leaned over to pick her clothes up. Seeing her nice, round butt really sent Gohan into a hormonal frenzy. Eighteen could see Gohan from the corner of her eye, feeling somewhat proud of getting this reaction.
"I've gotten stronger though," Videl said, bending over to pick up her clothes, basically exposing her naked butt to Gohan as well, the boy quickly turning away out of embarrassment. Eighteen did notice his reaction, somewhat finding it cute, though was slightly jealous that Videl got a reaction like that as well.
Videl started getting dressed, "Gohan you're kind of lucky, your dad isn't so overprotective."
"Well, to be fair, I am part Saiyan and I'm very strong, so my dad had no reason to be," Gohan said. "But my mom gets worried, so I know how you feel."
"I bet my mom wouldn't be so worried about me, she'd know I can kick ass when I need to," Videl said.
"Just try to be understanding Videl," Eighteen said, getting dressed herself. She turned her attention to Gohan. "I'll see you later alright?"
"Sure thing Eighteen," Gohan said, still feeling a bit embarrassed, and grateful his lower body was concealed in the water, he did not want the girls to see where the blood in his body rushed to.
The two flew away, leaving Gohan to himself. Once completely out of earshot, Videl turned her attention to Eighteen. "Gohan was acting a bit weird , wasn't he?"
"Well when two attractive girls bare their bodies in front of him, then yeah, he would," Eighteen said. "Gohan's a well mannered boy, but he's still a boy with hormones, especially at his age."
"I'm almost flattered then," Videl said.
"Just a few weeks ago you wanted to kill him for seeing you naked," Eighteen said.
"Well what can I say we came to an understanding," Videl said. "After all, it's alright to be curious."
"Uh-huh..." Eighteen said, not too fond of that answer. "Let's hurry."
The two sped off to Videl's house, ready to fully call it a day after intense training.
A couple of days later in the Time Nest, Pan and Cabba had returned, with a brand new mission from Chronoa, or rather a pair of missions that would require each of them.
"The anomaly is in two timelines?" Cabba asked.
"Yes," Chronoa confirmed. "Usually I would send you both as a team to one and I can have another patroller attend to the other one, but I'm spread thin right now."
"So we're going solo then?" Pan asked.
"Correct, you'll each be doing one timeline, think you can handle something like that?" Chronoa asked.
"Of course, I mean I work better with Cabba but that doesn't mean I can't pull off a solo mission," Pan said.
"I'll do what I must as well," Cabba said.
"Well, that's good to hear. Now then, I'll grab the scrolls." Using her magic, Chronoa summoned the two scrolls, handing the first one to Cabba. "This is from Pan's timeline, you'll be going to the newly recreated Planet Tuffle to face the evil lifeform known as Baby."
"Baby?" Cabba said, remembering the stories Pan told him. "That creature who hated the Saiyans?"
"Correct, he mind controlled many of the warriors, and even took over Vegeta's body, so be ready for anything," Chronoa said.
"Baby's tough but it's nothing you can't handle," Pan said. "Hopefully grandpa will be there, and you two can fight side by side."
"Pan," Chronoa handed the girl her scroll. "This is technically in Trunks's future timeline, you'll be helping him fight Goku Black."
"Goku Black?" Pan asked. "Do I know him?"
"Not likely, so here's the story" Chronoa said. "An evil Kai named Zamasu was jealous of your grandfather's power, so he used the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with him. While in Goku's body, he teamed up with another version of himself and both have started what he calls The Zero Mortals Plan." Chronoa tapped her chin. "Or was it Project Zero Mortals?" She shook it off, "Either way he's using your grandfather's body to destroy all mortals in existence."
"That's terrible, why would he want to do that anyway?" Pan asked.
"He believes Mortals are evil, irredeemable creatures who must be destroyed, for the sake of the twelve universes," Chronoa explained.
"So, one villain has stolen Vegeta's body, and another had stolen Goku's body," Cabba said. "Seems very underhanded if you ask me."
"Well they are villains, so it's to be expected," Chronoa said. "You both have your missions, you know what to do."
"Yes ma'am," Cabba said.
"We won't let you down," Pan said.
"Good luck you two," Chronoa said as she sent the two into their respective portals. This was a big test for them, seeing how well they can manage on their own. If anyone could do it, it would be the Universe Six Prodigy and the Granddaughter of Goku, both had incredible latent power that could very well shine while fighting on their own.
Cabba had arrived in his appointed timeline, finding himself on a baron looking planet with a red sky. "This must be the Tuffle Planet The Supreme Kai of Time told me about." The boy took a look around, taking in the sights. "Such a rough looking place, was this the result of the fighting or is it the natural agricultral landscape?"
The boy took to the skies to find any sign of life, knowing he had a mission to complete. Suddenly he felt a spike in energy. Acting quickly he flew to the source of power where he encountered what looked like a younger version of Goku, the Super Saiyan looking kid getting kicked around by a mysterious being.
"Is that Baby?" Cabba wondered.
The Tuffle Baby hit Goku with another strong blow. "Come on, I thought after all your grandiose showing off you'd put up somewhat of a decent fight!"
Goku struggled to stand, the boy wiping some blood off his mouth, "He's a lot stronger than I thougth he'd be."
"You're free to surrender at any time Saiyan," Baby taunted. "I understand if my power is too much for you now."
"Sorry but I'm not giving up so easily," Goku said, powering up some more, pushing the limits of his Super Saiyan form.
"He's gonna need help," Cabba said, leaping down near the fight.
As Baby punched Goku away, he readied a follow up attack in the form of a Final Flash, "This will sting!"
At that point, Cabba flew in and kicked Baby in the face, knocking his attack away at an angle. Cabba quickly landed beside a recovering Goku. "Are you hurt?"
"I'm fine, thanks," Goku said. "But, who are you?"
"My name's Cabba, I came to help," the boy introduced.
"Oh well that's nice of you, my name's Goku," the kid bodied Saiyan said.
"Hm, I wasn't aware of other strong beings, perhaps a friend you made during your travels?" Baby said.
"Actually I've never seen him before," Goku said. "Not that I mind, if he wants to help then I won't say 'no'."
"Still, there's something about the way you're dressed," Baby said, taking note of Cabba's clothes. "Where are you from?"
"If I told you, I doubt you'd believe me," Cabba said. "But allow me to show you what I am!"
Within seconds, Cabba powered into Super Saiyan 2, much to the surprise of both Baby and Goku, the latter amazed by this revelation. "Whoa! You're a Saiyan!? A Super Saiyan at that?"
"This is impossible! The Saiyans were wiped out!" Baby said. "Why are there more of you alive!?"
"Like I said, I doubt you'd believe me," Cabba said.
"Ugh, no matter! With this power I can get rid of you with no problem, I will not allow another Saiyan to thwart my plans!" Baby said. "The Tuffles will reign supreme!"
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Cabba shouted as he flew in, landing a strong punch on Baby's jaw, following up with a kick that knocked him back. Baby went for a strike but Cabba parried the attack and hit an uppercut, followed by an elbow to Baby's face.
"Wow, you're good!" Goku said.
"Let me fight for now, that should give you a moment to catch your breath," Cabba said.
"Sounds good to me," Goku said, giving a thumbs up.
"Don't get cocky," Baby said, getting Cabba's attention. "A few lucky strikes mean nothing! I will destroy you!"
Cabba and Baby clashed once again, resuming their battle in the skies of Planet Tuffle.
Meanwhile, Pan had also arrived in her appointed timeline as well, finding herself in the dystopian future, specifically West City, or what's left of it.
"Wow, this is hard to look at," Pan said, a little taken back by the terrible sight. "Just how badly was Trunks's future affected?"
She was alerted by the sound of an explosion, acting quickly she went to find the source of the energy emitted. Upon arrival she spotted her grandfather and Vegeta in battle against an imposter resembling her grandpa and a type of Kai.
"That must be Goku Black and Zamasu," Pan said, looking around some more, then spotting another ally. "And there's Trunks!"
On the ground nearby was Trunks, alongside his mother Bulma and his friend Mai.
"I gotta get back in there," Trunks said, grabbing his sword.
"Be careful, you're still not fully healed," Mai said. "Maybe you should just let Goku and Vegeta fight for now."
"No, they won't last," Trunks said. "I don't know how but Black and Zamasu have gotten stronger! I can feel it!"
Indeed Goku Black was starting to over power Goku, getting a few hard strikes on the Saiyan and then kicking him to a building, just as Zamasu had punched Vegeta into that same building, causing it to topple over.
"All this fighting has really done service to my power," Black said, checking his hands before turning to his counterpart. "Seems like you are benefiting as well my comrade."
"Yes, I do feel much stronger," Zamasu said "Perhaps even Gods can grow strength in battle, it's only fitting after all."
"Hey you two!" Pan said, flying over, getting their attention.
"Who's she?" Zamasu wondered.
"Huh?" Bulma looked up. "Trunks, are there more warriors in this timeline?"
"Not that I know of, all the warriors I know are dead," Trunks said.
Black had aimed his ki blade at Pan, "Time for you to start explaining, just who are you?"
"I'm the girl who's gonna deliver a whooping on you two lame-Os!" Pan said. "For all the damage you caused this future, I'm really going to make this beating hurt!"
"Is this a joke?" Black asked, almost confused. "I don't know who you are but if you wish to live, then I suggest you stay out of my way."
"Well, she won't live long anyway once we wipe out all the mortals," Zamasu said.
"Fine, let me rephrase that," Black said. "If you want to enjoy whatever time you have left alive, I suggest you depart immediately, otherwise I shall strike you down now."
"Just try it, I'm a lot tougher than I look," Pan said.
Black grew a bit more irritated at the audacity of this girl, "Impudent mortal. Fine, if you wish to die then-"
Pan powered into Super Saiyan and kicked Black immediately in the stomach, then hit an uppercut to knock him away. She then turned to Zamasu and blasted him in the face.
"What the hell!?" Trunks shouted. "Did she...just turn Super Saiyan!?"
"Now I'm really curious," Bulma said. "Who do you think she could be?"
"Think she's a relative of yours?" Mai asked. "Or even Goku's?"
"No, I mean, mother never mentioned another sibling, and Gohan told me he was an only child," Trunks said.
"...You don't suppose Gohan had a secret lover, do you?" Bulma asked.
Trunks was about to refute that, but started to wonder, "I mean...he was pretty popular with girls for his fights against The Androids but...no, I can't be, Gohan wouldn't just get a girl pregnant, would he?"
Black made his way back to Pan, looking rather irritated. "You're stronger than you look, I won't underestimate you again. But tell me, you appear to be a Saiyan, or at least part Saiyan. What is your origin?"
"Sorry, can't tell you, bit of a secret," Pan said.
"Alright, if you wish to keep secrets, then I shall beat the answers out of you, or you die, whichever comes first," Black said, rushing in to attack again, clashing with Pan.
Back in the GT timeline, Cabba and Baby continued their fight in the skies above, Cabba struggling a bit trying to take Baby down. His opponent did have quite a number of reserves as far as power went, but it wouldn't deter the young Saiyan.
"I admire your tenacity, but it really is for naught," Baby said, getting a punch to Cabba. "My power grows each second, such is the latent potential of the mighty Tuffles!"
"Saiyans have potential too!" Cabba said, kneeing Baby in the stomach. "Our power grows with each fight!" He went for another punch, but Baby had grabbed his fist.
"It's not growing enough!" Baby said, getting a couple of punches to Cabba, then charging up a ki blast. "Now die!"
Cabba kicked Baby's hand away, sending the blast aside as he spun around for a kick to the villain's face and another kick to his chest. Cabba flew back and charged another attack," Galick Cannon!"
As the beam approached, Baby had blocked it with his hands, trying to push it back, "Not back!" He then completely parried the attack and flew in to punch Cabba across the skies, then reappeared over head and kicked him to the ground below.
"Cabba!" Goku shouted, powering into Super Saiyan 3 to help his ally. However Baby had whacked him back down.
"Fool, you're still no match for me!" Baby taunted.
This distraction did allow Cabba to fly in and kick Baby in the sides, then fired a ki blast from his foot to send Baby flying. The boy rushed in to attack some more but Baby had dodged to the side and elbowed Cabba in the back, sending him flying down to the ground below.
Cabba struggled to stand, but was still ready to fight when he noticed something troubling. Suddenly he had been surrounded by Gohan, Goten, Videl and Trunks. Normally this should be a good thing, but he could tell something sinister was about to happen.
"I don't like the looks of this," Cabba said.
"How dare you attack our master!" Goten said.
"Filthy Saiyan, we'll make you regret trying to destroy our way of life," Trunks said.
"Hey snap out of it, all of you!" Cabba said. "Are you really going to let this creature dictate your life!?"
"Baby knows best, he is our master," Videl said.
"We fight for our master," Gohan said. "We will destroy for him!"
The four rushed in to attack at once, Cabba quickly trying to block from four angles, hoping to fend them off without really hurting them. Unfortunately a timed blow from Gohan had knocked him off balance, allowing Videl to get a clean kick to his head while Goten and Trunks fired a double ki blast to knock Cabba back.
"Good! Now finish him off!" Baby ordered.
The four were about to do as told when Goku showed up and knocked Gohan into Videl. Trunks tried to attack but Goku ducked and punched him in the abs, then kicked Goten aside. "I really hate doing this to my Trunks, Videl and my two sons but I really don't have much of a choice here."
"You're still resisting!?" Baby shouted. "Not for long!"
As Baby flew to attack Goku, Cabba rushed over and kicked him aside, then sent a blast at the evil Tuffle. He flew in again to punch him away.
"I got this Goku!" Cabba reassured. "If you can hold off the others."
"Of course," Goku said, fending off his mind controlled friends.
Baby and Cabba continued to do battle in the skies overhead, but Baby was losing his patience. He punched Cabba in the stomach, knocking him upwards and then grabbing his ankle to aggressively throw him to the ground below.
"Time to end this!" Baby placed his arms up as he channeled some dark ki, readying it to the size of a massive orb. "It's over, Revenge Death Ball!"
Baby sent the attack down at Cabba, hoping to completely destroy him. Cabba did not give up, he charged another Galick Cannon and fired the attack to keep the Death Ball away.
"You're only delaying the inevitable!" Baby shouted, placing more power into his attack. "I will destroy you for good!"
"Not a chance!" Cabba said, pushing the attack harder. As Baby put in more energy into his attack, suddenly he felt a ki blast hit him from the distance. This brief distraction allowed for Cabba to push harder, sending the attack right back at Baby.
"No!" Baby quickly released his hold and stepped aside, allowing Cabba to take the opportunity to fly in with a kick to Baby's stomach and whack him down. He then sent a flurry of ki blasts down at Baby, ending with a charged Galick Cannon attack, creating a damaging explosion that took some fight out of Baby.
"That was a close one," Cabba said.
"Sure was, good thing I was here," Came a voice. Cabba turned to see a mysterious young boy with a black vest. "Hi, I'm Uub."
"Uub?" Cabba said, recalling the name. This boy was suppose to be the reincarnation of Majin Buu. "Uh, hi Uub, I'm Cabba."
"I'm not sure who you are, but I appreciate the help," Uub said. "But if you don't mind, I'd like to take a turn, looks like you've already done a lot."
"Yeah, seems like it," Cabba said, then remembered. "Wait, Goku!"
"His granddaughter's helping him," Uub pointed out, gesturing to Pan, the young girl keeping her grandfather safe from the mind controlled Z Fighters.
"Pan..." Cabba knew this wasn't the Pan he was friends with, but he was happy to see her nonetheless.
Down below, Baby was beginning to stand, Uub quick to react, "Better clear out the way."
"Right," Cabba said, flying away, getting one last glimpse of Pan. "I should help her."
"No, leave it," Chronoa ordered, to Cabba's surprise. "You did your job, leave the rest to Uub."
"Is that really alright? I can't just leave Pan," Cabba said.
"Let the timeline flow naturally," Chronoa said. "There's nothing more to be done."
Cabba nodded and was about to leave when he saw Pan getting knocked over. Hearing her yelp in pain was alarming to the boy as Trunks stood over her, looking ready to attack. Goku was prepared to step in, so Pan would be fine, but Cabba snapped.
"Get away from her!" Cabba rushed in to kick Trunks out the way. He then quickly knocked away Goten as he got too close. Afterwards he turned to the girl, "Are you alright?"
"Y-yeah, thanks," Pan said, trying to stand up, with Cabba offering a hand. Pan gladly accepted his help as he got her back onto her feet. "Wow, you're quite the gentleman."
"It's nothing," Cabba said, though started to feel a sense of dread, knowing Chronoa probably won't appreciate that much. "I should go and...see if there's anything else I can do."
"See if there are others who might need help if you don't mind," Pan said. "I came here with my Grandpa Hercule, if you can see if he's safe, I'll really appreciate that."
"Sure thing..." Cabba said, feeling a bit bad. He knew he was just making up an excuse to leave, he just hoped there wouldn't be a consequence. "I'm off."
Cabba flew away, leaving the timeline once safe, hoping the Pan he knew would be alright, not noticing that from the distance, Mira and Towa had observed, the two ready to enact their next move very soon.
Back in Future Trunks's Super timeline, Pan continued her battle against Goku Black, the girl struggling a bit more on her own. Unlike Cabba, she did not know Super Saiyan 2, so there was a bit of a power disadvantage.
"Where's all that power you spoke of?" Black taunted, getting a kick to Pan's stomach. "Don't tell me you're having trouble."
"Hey, don't act like you've won!" Pan said, flying in for a punch to his jaw. Admittingly, this was a bit weird for her since he still resembled her grandfather, but he was really starting to tick her off.
"I do admire your tenacity," Black said, getting a punch to her jaw. "Tell me, who are you?"
"Call me Pan," the girl said. "Not that it matters, you won't last long enough for it to even matter to you."
"Under powered, yet you still put on a brave front," Black said. "You truly are a Saiyan descendant."
Goku and Vegeta flew over, both somewhat recovered from the attack they received and ready to continue.
"Come on Vegeta, we gotta help that girl, whoever she is," Goku said.
"And get some answers, such as how she's a Super Saiyan," Vegeta said.
As the two flew in, Zamasu had attacked Goku from the side, taking him by surprise. He went after Vegeta but the Saiyan Prince quickly blocked the attack and punched Zamasu away.
"You're one overbearing pest!" Vegeta shouted, blasting a hole through Zamasu's chest, one that healed right away.
"The audacity, speaking to a God that way!" Zamasu formed a ki blade and swiped at Vegeta, the Prince barely dodging and kicking Zamasu aside. He turned his attention back to Goku Black, but in that moment, the imposter Saiyan blasted Vegeta from the air.
"How foolish," Black taunted, then blocked an oncoming punch from Pan. "You know, in my travels, I haven't found another one with your power on this world, after being here for a year, I think I would have noticed you."
"I was...preparing!" Pan said, hoping he'd believe it.
"Right, preparing," Black said, punching Pan in the stomach. "Are you even from this timeline?"
"Huh?" Pan inched back, keeping her distance. "What are you going on about?"
"Fair question, Trunks already traveled to the past to get help from his father and Goku, for all I know he went to another timeline to recruit another ally," Black said. "Where are you from though? The past? Perhaps the future? I mean, you do bear the name of his granddaughter."
"Huh? How did you know that?" Pan asked.
"Perhaps telling me your name was foolish, since I know just about everything about your grandfather, I did my research before stealing his body," Black said. "So, did Trunks recruit you from another time period?"
"...Not exactly, I can't really go into detail," Pan said.
"Fine by me, it makes no difference," Black said, aiming his blade. "I'll still vanquish you."
Pan tried a sneak attack but sending a ki blast to his face. Black was able to avoid it but Pan used the distraction to punch Black in the stomach and kick him back. Pan then cupped her hands together, charging her family's attack. "Kamehame-HA!"
The beam was sent right at Black, but teleported out of the way, appearing right behind Pan. He brought his ki blade down at her but the attack was blocked by an oncoming Trunks using his sword.
"Not so fast!" Trunks said, and then kicked Black away, flying in with a punch to his jaw.
Black knocked Trunks out the way but this left him open for a punch from Pan to his chin, to which Trunks flew over with a kick to Black's head.
Pan and Trunks then leapt back and sent a double ki blast to send Black flying toward a building, causing a massive explosion in the process.
"He's one tough guy," Pan commented.
"Yeah, he is," Trunks said, then turned his attention to Pan. "Listen, I really appreciate your help, but I am curious as to who you are."
"It's hard to explain," Pan said. "Would you just accept it if I was just another friend?"
"We'd like a little more information than that," Vegeta said, flying over with Goku. "If you're going to fight by our side, we should know a bit about who we're fighting with."
"Come on, does it really matter?" Goku asked. "She seems like a nice girl and she does want to help. If she wants to keep a few secrets for now then let her, I mean didn't Trunks keep his identity a secret when we first met him?"
"Not from you," Vegeta said. "Apparently he told you I was his father before I found out for myself."
"You understand why I had to do that, don't you father?" Trunks asked. "I wanted to ensure my birth, I thought I would disappear if I said anything."
"Fair enough," Vegeta said. "Question is son, do you trust this girl?"
Trunks turned his attention to Pan, feeling a sense of familiarity with the girl, "Kind of...I mean..."
"Did you forget about us?" Zamasu asked, floating over. "How sad that mortals can't seem to trust one another, really makes me feel like I'm doing you a service in wiping you all out alongside my counterpart."
"I'm about to wipe that grin off your face," Vegeta warned as he flew in to attack. Zamasu dodged aside and karate chopped Vegeta in the back of the head and kicked him away. Pan flew in to attack but he blocked her strike and hit the girl with an uppercut, knocking her into Trunks as Goku flew in to engage, the two battling it out in the skies.
Black made his way back over, flying in to attack Trunks from behind, but the boy quickly pulled himself and Pan aside to avoid the blade and went for a kick to Black's face.
Trunks grabbed his sword and swung down at Black, his opponent dodging swifly and then kicking the future warrior aside. He turned his attention back to Pan, "Still think you can win?"
"There's always a fighting chance!" Pan said, going for a kick that Black blocked, then punched the girl away.
"You mortals and your blind determination," Black taunted. "Just like this body I took from Goku, even while in my old body he attempted to defy me. I made quick work of him though, right in front of his wife and son." This got Goku's attention, Black was talking about his family. "Right before I had to destroy them that is."
"He...what!?" Goku started to feel infuriated, for Black's sake he better hope he just misheard him. "Black!" At that point Zamasu tried to attack Goku but the Saiyan back handed him away immediately. "What did you say about Chi-Chi and Goten!?"
"Oh right, I never told you," Black began. "I never told you how I obliterated them right after my wish to take your body."
"You...sadistic bastard!" Goku flew in and aggressively punched Black in the jaw. "I'm gonna make you regret that!"
The two engaged in an a heated battle in the skies, Pan amazed at the ruthlessness her grandfather showed. He's normally a happy and peaceful person, but now he was on a warpath. She turned her attention to Zamasu, the Kai feeling the effects of the punch from Goku, but otherwise alright.
Flying in she confronted the villain deity, "You can take quite a beating, you don't even have a scratch on you."
"The power of an immortal body," Zamasu said. "As for you, I may have decuded where you came from."
"Excuse me?" Pan asked.
"My old mentor Gowasu mentioned a Kai who's sole purpose is to send warriors across the timelines to fix anomalies," Zamasu said. "Given how secretive you are about your arrival, I have begun to theorize that you may be yet another Time Patroller for the Supreme Kai of Time."
"Uh..." Pan wasn't sure how to cover this up. The only villain who came close to figuring this out was Cell, but Zamasu pretty much knew just about everything. "I uh..."
"Your reaction says it all," Zamasu said. "Perhaps it is good you came, once I destroy you, I can send a message that even the Goddess of Time is no match for my Zero Mortals Plan."
"As if, you try messing with the Time Patrollers and they'll kick your butt!" Pan said.
"We'll see about that," Zamasu said, holding out a box of rings. "After all, I can create an army if I so choose."
"Huh? What are those?" Pan asked.
"Time rings," Zamasu said. "Useful for time traveling, really helped out my counterpart, and can do wonders for me too."
"Sorry, I won't let you!" Pan said, though just before she could attack, an explosion alerted her to her grandfather. Looking over she saw that Goku had taken a really bad blow from Black. "Oh no!"
She attempted to fly in to help but Zamasu had elbowed her down. He attempted pursuit but fortunately Vegeta had intercepted, knocking Zamasu away, giving Pan a quick opportunity to blast him with a Kamehameha.
"Thanks Vegeta!" Pan shouted, quickly going to check on Goku. However Black had blocked her path. "Out of my way!"
"You won't have time to mourn for him after I strike you down myself," Black said.
"Don't act like it's over, there's other warriors!" Pan warned.
"I hope you don't mean the warriors outside this planet, the only other decent warriors I came across recently were those from Universe Six, they all fell by my power," Black said. "That foolish assassin, that snarky false hero, even a young budding Saiyan warrior who vowed to defeat me. What a fool, I took pleasure in ending his life."
Pan's eyes widened, wondering immediately if he was talking about who it sounded like she was talking about. As she thought about Cabba, a new feeling arose within her, suddenly she started feeling a weird sense of a false memory.
"He never met Vegeta in this timeline, but it seemed like they got along well from what I've seen on that crystal ball," Black said. "Too bad he never met Vegeta, without Super Saiyan he didn't even last five seconds against me, what a-"
Pan angrily punched Black in the stomach, hard enough for him to cough out some blood. "Bastard! I'll kill you!" Pan then unleashed a flurry of blows, hitting Black all over his upperbody and ending with a kick that knocked the evil kai away.
She then quickly charged up some power and unleashed her Maiden Burst attack, hitting Black hard and sending him through several buildings, knocking him miles away. Pan continued to pant angrily, still fuming with rage over the idea of Cabba getting killed, even if it's not her friend, it's still Cabba, a boy she cared about very much.
"Pan..." Chronoa said, getting the girl's attention. "You feeling alight?"
"I'm fine..." Pan insisted, though she still felt quite angry. "I just..."
"I think you've done enough, let Trunks handle the rest," Chronoa insisted.
"Huh?" Pan looked around and saw that Trunks was now fighting Zamasu, the boy having an upper hand. "Uh, alright..."
Pan, without warning, quickly disappeared back into the Time Nest, leaving this future behind, unaware of the fact that Sealas was observing from the distance, alongside his creation Ahms.
In the time next, Pan now standing side by side with her friend Cabba, the boy having finished a little bit prior.
"Pan, I'm so glad you're alright," Cabba said. Suddenly he found himself in a tight hug from Pan, surprising him a bit. "Pan?"
"Sorry, I'm just..." Pan hugged tighter. "I'm glad you're alright."
"Whoa, did something happen?" Cabba asked, slowly returning the hug. "Hey, whatever it is, I'm here, alright?"
"I know, and I'm so happy," Pan said.
"Ahem," Came Chronoa's voice, alerting the two. "Sorry to break this up, but I do need to address a few things with the two of you. Cabba, you disobeyed an order of mine, while the consequences were minimal I don't want you to make a habit out of it. Control your emotions and don't let it happen again."
"Yes ma'am," Cabba said, bowing to her. "Sorry ma'am."
"And Pan...I get that Zamasu knowing about the Time Patrol can't be helped but you need to do a better job of covering that up, if he said that in the presence of Goku, Vegeta and Trunks, then that would have complicated things," Chronoa said. "You're lucky Black didn't tell them you were Gohan's daughter."
"Sorry Supreme Kai of Time," Pan said.
"But, perhaps sending you to these timelines isn't the best idea," Chronoa said. "I mean, some things will be made more complex than they need to be, so it's better if I find newer missions for you, preferably ones where you don't have to interact too much with Goku, Vegeta and the others."
"What do you have in mind ma'am?" Cabba asked.
"Tell you later," Supreme Kai of Time said. "You may go home for now, I'll let you know if I need you again."
"Uh, sure," Cabba said, then turned to Pan. "Assuming we won't have a mission by then, do you want to come over to my timeline in about five days? I should be off."
"I'd like that," Pan said. "I'd love to see your world."
"Good to hear," Cabba said as the portal to his timeline opened. "I'll see you then."
"See you," Pan said, going to her own portal, both back home in their own timelines.
"Complicated or not, those two do get along quite well," Chronoa said. "They've really builrt up a nice chemistry. It's so refreshing to see."
Back in the Z Timeline, Goku was training with Seventeen and Eighteen, trying to figure out their attack patterns as they zipped around him. Fighting enemies he couldn't sense was quite the training for him, he was able to teach himself to react naturally rather than rely on ki, just like when he was a boy. He had to remind himself not to forget that feeling.
Goku found an opening and got Seventeen in the stomach, then elbowed Eighteen just as she tried to attack from behind and then sent the girl crashing into her brother.
"You two are so fun to fight again," Goku said. "Your teamwork is impressive, almost like your minds are linked. Which makes sense since you're androids."
"Being an android has nothing to do with it," Seventeen said. "Twins have that natural link with one another."
"It's something we were born with," Eigtheen said.
"Something you were born with huh?" Goku said. "You two continue to impress me. Alright, let's keep going!"
"Ready sis?" Seventeen asked.
"I can do this all day," Eighteen said, the two rushing back in to fight.
Gohan was observing from nearby while sitting against a rock while snacking on some goodies his mother baked while he had some books on the side, trying to catch up on his studies.
Videl was on the other side, bringing out some ingredients her dad packed and also keeping watch of the fight.
"It's always fun seeing dad fight, same with The Androids," Gohan said.
"Those two make one intense team," Videl said. "Seems like they're unbeatable as a pair."
"Mostly, it's a challenge that only my dad has properly figured out, but not without some kinks," Gohan said.
Videl started preparing a sandwich when Gohan's tail appeared in front of her face. "Gohan your tail's getting too close to me again."
"Oh sorry, I forget to control it," Gohan said.
"Can you feel anything with this tail?" Videl asked as she watch it wave back and forth.
"Somewhat, but nothing precise," Gohan said as Videl carefully grabbed the tail. She was about to send it away when she started getting some ideas. "I mean I can tell if it gets wet, and if it gets pulled hard." Videl brought the tail down as she opened up her pants. "I'm still working on not feeling it but I think that with enough practice...uh, why do I feel something sticky." He then heard Videl moan, "Huh? Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, sorry, some of my honey just spilt," Videl said. "It kind of got on your tail."
"Oh, sorry about that," Gohan said, pulling his tail back, checking the tip. "Wow it's sticky." He licked it off a bit. "But sweet, got anymore?"
"Sorry, it's kind of gone, maybe later though?" Videl asked.
"Sounds good to me," Gohan said, unaware of Videl's grin. She placed her hand over her private area, rubbing it slightly, relishing her previous feeling. "Let's make time for that soon."
Eighteen had noticed something odd at the corner of her eye, but paid little mind as she tried focusing on her fight with Goku, unaware of her apprentice's mischievous nature.
That wasn't the only potential mischief, as Towa looked through a crystal ball, she spotted a familiar little girl. "Hm, this could be fun to experiment with soon. Let's see just how hard Pan and Cabba are willing to fight, when one of them runs the danger of being completely non-existent."
She placed the ball aside, revealing a young Pan on her way to her first World Martial Arts Tournament, the young girl unaware of her potentially new future.
