The next few days on Sadala had been a tough set for Kid Pan. Caulifla really was a harsh teacher, who showed little to no mercy in their sparring. It was non-stop on occasion, Kid Pan trying her best, only to be knocked down a few pegs.
"Come on! Show some heart!" Caulifla ordered.
Kid Pan wiped away some dirt and fought harder. She picked up on some of Caulifla's patterns, good for the occasional dodge but she still wasn't completely fast enough to dodge, regardless if she saw the attack coming or not.
Pan, Cabba, Kale and Bulla observed from the sides, each ready to step in if things got too bad. Thankfully Caulifla usually knew when to dial it back, she proved to be a very decent trainer for Kid Pan, even if her methods were harsh.
"Pan's younger self has gotten a lot faster these past few days," Cabba said. "She's adapting pretty well."
"Grandpa always thought I could adjust well to a situation," Pan said. "Something I did fall out of practice with for a while, but I picked right back up on by the time we fought Baby."
"You think your little self could surpass you in strength though?" Bulla asked. "Having a teacher as intense as Caulifla could realy do wonders for her strength."
"Hard to say really, I mean she's still me, just younger," Kid Pan said.
"From my experience, I remember there the time I first met your dad as a kid, he at one point was nearly evenly matched with his older self," Cabba said. "During a fight they had, it seemed like the younger Gohan was unexpectedly stronger than anticipated as it took the older one by surprise."
"Wow, that's neat, who ended up winning?" Bulla asked.
"The older one still one, it was not a pretty sight though," Cabba said, remembering the rage of the older Gohan. To think such a gentle soul could be so aggressive. "Pan, you won't get jealous of your younger self, will you?"
"No way, I mean why should I be jealous of myself?" Pan said. "If she gets stronger then it's a good thing, it means I can reach whatever potential she has, and we can help each other with that."
"That's a good way to look at it," Cabba said. "You're handling this a little better than the Gohan of my timeline."
"How badly did that Gohan handle it?" Bulla asked.
"I don't know the full story but he seemed really upset," Cabba said, remembering that day, and the fight he had with Gohan. "I remember fighting him myself, he did not hold back much."
"Are you sure you're remembering that right? My papa is not one to lose his temper," Pan said.
"Wasn't the key to his power suppose to be his anger though?" Cabba said. "At least that's what I remember hearing Goku say during the Cell Games."
"That was when he was a kid though, as an adult he has a better grip on his emotions," Pan insisted. "Maybe he was just super focused but no way he would lose his cool or be jealous, papa's a better person than that."
"Gohan is good at keeping calm under pressure," Kale said. "He did a great job of it at the Tournament of Power."
"Exactly, no one does it better than Papa," Pan said.
"Alright, if that's what you believe Pan," Cabba said. He didn't want to continue this, mainly since the older Gohan seems to have lightened up over time and he doesn't know the full story so he can't judge.
He couldn't think this over long anyway, as he suddenly felt the impact of Kid Pan being kicked into his ribs, knocking him back.
"Hey easy Caulifla!" Pan shouted.
"She's fine," Caulifla said. "Yo! Mini-Pan! We ain't done."
"I kind of am honestly," Kid Pan said, feeling dizzy. Once she recovered, she came to realize she had landed on someone. "Oh, you alright Cabba?"
"I'm fine, don't worry," Cabba said, getting Kid Pan off him. "Man Caulifla hits hard."
"Want to train with someone else for a bit?" Cabba asked.
"No, I'm fine, I think I'm getting close to landing a punch," Kid Pan said, getting up off Cabba. "But later on we can do something together."
Kid Pan flew back at Caulifla, trying once again to land a punch, to pretty much no avail. Pan helped Cabba up, dusting him off, "That was quite a blow."
"It wasn't too bad," Cabba said, looking to Kid Pan. "She's really determined."
"Sounds just like me," Pan said. "When I was that age, I wanted to be the strongest, so of course she's gonna train hard."
"To think just the other day she was completely frightened," Cabba said. "Were you always like that?"
"Pretty much, even if my nerves get the better of me I try my best to be tough and fight through it," Pan said. "Like the Tournament we saved her from, I remember fighting this big scary looking guy, I want to say as big as that Nappa guy was. I was nervous at first but grandpa gave me the confidence I needed to fight and win."
"Wow, I can't imagine a little girl like that fighting someone like Nappa," Cabba said. "Though your father fought Nappa at the same age as your younger self, so I guess like father, like daughter."
"Yeah, like father like daughter," Pan stated. "And there is no man I admire more than my papa, I mean I admire grandpa Goku too but papa just has that confidence to him."
"It's great that you're so close with your family, you're lucky to have such nice parents," Cabba said.
"Your family's nice too, I appreciate you introducing me to them the other day," Pan said.
"Yeah, it would have been better if they didn't think I brought home a wife, they seemed really disappointed when I told them you weren't," Cabba said.
"I thought it was sweet," Pan said, inching closer to Cabba. "You know, that makes both of our families that got the idea, maybe it's a sign."
"Pan, I like you but I still don't think we'll work out," Cabba said. "We live in two different timelines, one of us would have to stay in the other's and I can't leave my planet. Would you be alright with not seeing your family?"
"Well, maybe not," Pan said. "But that's usually how it goes, the girl falls in love and moves in with her new husband."
"I don't want to take you from your family just yet, you're still so young," Cabba said. "Plus I think you'd be happier with a guy from your timeline."
"Tried it, none of the other guys are interesting enough, some even think I'm weird because I can fly," Pan said. "Earth boys can't handle stuff like this as well as a Saiyan."
"She's right," Bulla said, making her way over. "Sorry for listening in, but she has a point Cabba, I was reluctant for some time to be like my father and brother because I saw how people react to their abilities. It's just hard for an average Earthling to accept, unless that Earthling is just as amazing as a Saiyan, Earthlings like Krillin, Yamcha and Tien."
Pan stifled a laugh," Yamcha?"
"Hey I know he's weak compared to my Saiyans like dad and your grandpa but he's still stronger than an average Earthling, including your other grandpa," Bulla said.
"Yeah, I guess you're right," Pan said.
"Wait, which one is Yamcha?" Cabba asked.
"Remember the Cell games? Did you see a guy with a scar on his face?" Pan asked.
Cabba tapped his chin, trying his best to remember, "Oh right! I think I saw him when I went to play baseball on Earth."
"Baseball?" Pan asked, a bit confused. "You're gonna have to tell me about that later, but yeah, that's Yamcha."
"He was my mom's boyfriend before she got with my dad," Bulla said. "He's pretty cute for a guy who's my mom's age, I'm almost surprised they didn't last."
"According to my parents, it's because he's a playboy," Pan said. "He loves flirting with any girl he meets."
"Makes sense that his relationship didn't last long then," Cabba said.
"Yeah, not many girls would want to date a guy like that," Pan said. "Yet somehow he does get dates."
"Only because he's kind of sneaky about them," Bulla said. "Clever guy."
"Well anyway, you get the message, don't you Cabba?" Pan said. "Earth guys are not for me."
"Maybe you just haven't found the right guy yet," Cabba said. "I still say there's better options than me."
"You're too humble Cabba," came Kale's voice, as she too made her way over. "Ideally you are the perfect mate for a girl. You are very dependable, you have a sensitivity to you that a girl would appreciate but you're also strong enough to fight for your morals."
"Wow, never thought you fel that way," Cabba said.
"I'm just speaking objectively," Kale said. "I don't have any strong feelings for you or anything, but as your friend I did feel the need to point out your good points. Perhaps in another timeline we could have been together, just like Caulifla wonders about certain other boys in other timelines."
"Huh? What boys?" Pan asked.
"Uh, nothing really," Kale nervously insisted. "Don't worry about it, just some ramble."
Pan looked a bit confused, she kind of wanted to question it, but part of her was afraid she would regret asking. However she didn't have much time to think as her younger self got punched straight through the wall of the hut.
"Dammit! Now I gotta fix that!" Caulifla lamented.
"That's what you're worried about!?" Pan angrily shouted. "Not that you may have really injured the younger me!?"
"Wow you're overprotective, is this how you were trained?" Caulifla asked.
"Well when Grandpa trained me he didn't knock me through buildings, that's for sure," Pan said.
"So Goku took it easy on you, big surprise," Caulifla said. "That's why you're not as strong as you should be!"
"I hate to agree with her, but she might be right," Pan said. "Papa said Piccolo was a better trainer because he was a bit more assertive than Grandpa was."
"I get that same vibe with Vegeta, I mean he wasn't really my trainer but the only reason I turned Super Saiyan is because I thought he was gonna come to this planet and destroy it," Cabba said.
"Was he really gonna do something like that?" Caulifla asked. "Think I'd just stand by and watch while he did so?"
"No offense Caulifla, but if Vegeta did come here for the intent of destruction, he'd kill us all," Cabba said. "No one on this world knew how to turn Super Saiyan. In fact not many still do."
"I would have figured it out, I'm a progidy," Caulifla said.
"And a bit full of yourself," Kid Pan said, stumbling out of the broken house.
"Hey, you alright sweetie?" Pan asked, kneeling down to her younger self.
"I'm fine, it didn't really hurt that much," Kid Pan insisted. "Well her punch hurt but getting knocked through the house didn't."
"I pack quite a punch, it takes a real warrior to take it and come back for more," Caulifla said. "Be proud kid, you're hanging in there with one of the two strongest of Universe Six."
"Mama says it's not good to be overconfident and full of yourself, otherwise you end up like Grandpa Hercule," Kid Pan said.
"That does sound like something mom would say," Pan commented.
"It's only overconfidence if you can't back it up," Caulifla said. "I can totally back it up, and with my help, so can you. I can tell you have so much potential, which is why I'm going hard on you. It'll all be worth it once you turn Super Saiyan."
"It'll also be worth it once I'm strong enough to take you on," Kid Pan said, showing a hint of determination.
"Oh, aiming high are you? Good," Caulifla said. "Come on then, come and get me."
Kid Pan flew back over to engage with Caulifla, the older Pan proudly observing, "Younger or not, she's still me, and neither of us are going to back down from anyone."
Kid Pan took another hard blow, this time flying right into Bulla, knocking them back, barely missing the house.
"So glad that one didn't destroy part of the house that time," Caulifla said, to the annoyance of Pan, Cabba and Kale.
Kid Pan slowly sat up, noticing that Bulla was lying down in some pain. "Hey, are you alright Bulla? I didn't hurt you did I?"
"You did nothing wrong," Bulla said, slowly sitting up. "But maybe you should take five."
"But I'm fine, I can keep fighting," Kid Pan said.
"I know you're fine," Bulla cracked her back a little. "But Caulifla won't be once I demolish her."
"Oh, you want to fight me now?" Caulifla asked. "Heh, bring it on, I could use another challenge!"
Bulla powered up and flew in to engage with Caulifla as Kid Pan walked back to the three bystanders, each of them hoping Bulla isn't in too over her head. She's a bit stronger but she's also relatively new to fighting, this may not end well.
"So, Cabba, we can train together now if you want," Kid Pan said.
"Wow, you do have quite a bit of energy for a young girl," Cabba said
"I am part Saiyan, and I love fighting," Kid Pan said. "Let's go somewhere private, just us two."
"Uh sure," Cabba turned to Pan and Kale. "You two don't mind if I fly off, do you?"
"That's good with me, a little one-on-one should be good for her," Pan said.
"We'll stay and make sure Bulla doesn't get too beat up," Kale said, looking back to the fight. "Though she is doing surprisingly well."
"Vegeta's training is paying off," Cabba said, then turned to Kid Pan. "Well let's get going."
The duo flew off, leaving Pan and Kale behind, the former glancing the direction of her younger self and Cabba. "Little me is really getting a lot of good training."
"Yeah, and you said that you want to be strong enough to defeat some enemies and send her safely back home, correct?" Kale asked.
"That's the plan," Pan said. "If we can fix things, little me will be placed back with her friends and family, almost like she never left."
"And you believe that plan could work just fine?" Kale asked.
"I don't see why not, it seems simple," Pan said. "Get strong, beat up bad guy, save the world."
"It does sound simple, but is it simple?" Kale asked. "Time travel seems like a very tricky concept, can you really just place your younger self back in like it's nothing?"
"Of course, I mean we know the Supreme Kai of Time, she'll help us figure something out for sure," Pan said.
"Uh, alright," Kale said, unsure of all this. Maybe it's just her lack of knowledge on this subject but she decided to just go with what Pan was saying.
In the forest area, Cabba and Kid Pan were doing their spar, this time Cabba trying to help Pan with various evasion tactics.
"Don't just fight with your eyes," Cabba said, throwing some soft punches at the girl. "Feel out your opponent, try to read where they're coming from."
"Uh, right," Kid Pan said, doing her best to dodge.
"Don't think too much, sometimes it's better to let your instincts take over," Cabba said, going for a kick that got Kid Pan in the chest. "And always be ready to react!"
Kid Pan pulled herself up, glancing at Cabba and ready to fight again, then quickly dodged an oncoming kick. Cabba may be a bit nicer than Caulifla but he was still a tough trainer, not that the young girl minded.
Moving in fast, Kid Pan flew at Cabba, going for a punch that he blocked, then immediately went for a kick. Cabba parried it aside and went for a punch of his own that Kid Pan blocked, but the force still knocked her through a tree.
"Ow..." Kid Pan slowly stood up again. "I don't think I'm doing so well."
"Don't give up, I think you have what it takes to really excel," Cabba said.
"Oh I won't, Grandpa taught me not to quit," Kid Pan said. "But sometimes I feel like I'm too weak to train against you."
"I don't consider you too weak, you just need more practice, remember this is gonna take some time, but nothing we have to rush," Cabba said.
"Maybe, but...it seems like the only way I can be back with my family is if we get strong enough to fight those bad guys," Kid Pan said. "And the way older me made it sound, they're really tough."
"They are strong, but we'll be stronger," Cabba said. "It's going to take time but patience is always a virtue."
"Even so, I kind of wish there was a faster way to get stronger," Kid Pan said. "Like just get a bunch of energy into my body."
"There's no shortcuts when it comes to strength," Cabba said. "Power alone isn't enough. Speed, precision, awareness, instinct, all of those need to be worked on. Power means nothing if you can't use it properly."
"Wow, there's a lot more to fighting than just being strong," Kid Pan said, checking her muscles. "I thought I had a good head start too."
"Hey you're strong for a young girl at least," Cabba said. "Now come on, continue practicing your strikes with me."
As the days went on and Kid Pan's training continued, Pan and Cabba eventually decided on trying out another method of training, one that Supreme Kai of Time had once suggested. With permission to bring Bulla, Caulifla and Kale to the Time Nest, the training had resumed in a special room that Chronoa herself designed.
"In this room you can fight whoever you desire, you can make that person as strong as you need them too as well," Chronoa said, handing them a device. "If you want it to feel like training, then will it as such. If you want it to feel like a friendly spar, you can make that happen. If you want it to be a fight for your life, go for it, as long as you're careful, I'd rather none of you accidentally die in there."
"You got it Supreme Kai of Time," Pan said. "Thanks for letting us use this room, it would really come in handy."
"Remember, this is still a work in progress, be extra careful in there," Chronoa warned as she opened the pathway into a white room of void. "You can also change the background too, eternal whiteness has been known to be a bit draining on the mind."
"I think we can handle it," Caulifla said, making her way inside with the others.
"I hope they don't overload the room," Chronoa said, making her way back to the scrolls, still hoping to find a trace of the enemy.
Inside the training room, Caulifla took a nice look around, a little confused as to what's next. "So, we just gotta imagine something in here?"
"That's what Supreme Kai of Time said," Cabba said, pulling out the device. "Let me try it out, see if I can get someone, any suggestions?"
"How about one of the Pride Troopers?" Caulifla suggested.
"Alright, let me try something," Cabba said, messing around with the device until a figure popped up, that being Dyspo of Universe 11. "I got someone!"
"I remember him, that fast guy who gave Hit trouble," Caulifla said.
"Yeah, I believe his name is Dyspo," Cabba said. "Should be a reasonable start, tough but fair. Plus it goes into a good lesson for little Pan." Cabba turned to the young girl, "Power is good, but if you can't catch the person you're fighting, then it's useless. You have to be able to outthink that person. When our friend Hit fought Dyspo, he needed to outsmart him."
"He also had a little help from Goku," Caulifla said. "He showed up in that Super Saiyan God form."
"Wasn't Goku mostly there to keep in even?" Kale reminded. "Dyspo had that other Pride Trooper helping him."
"Also, what's Super Saiyan God?" Bulla asked.
"It's a form that precedes the Blue Form you saw on the Prison Planet," Caulifla explained. "I'm still trying to figure that out, along with Blue. Oh, and also 4."
"Caulifla, you can't turn Super Saiyan 4, you don't have a tail," Pan said.
"Pfft, you don't know for sure if that's how it works!" Caulifla said. "If anyone can figure it out, I can!"
"Focus please," Cabba said. "Pan, older Pan I mean, would you like to try this fight out?"
"Sure, I could use a warm up myself," Pan said, making her way to Dyspo, quickly observing him. "So he's fast, like really fast?"
"Yes, so be careful," Cabba said as he maneuvered the device. "I'm gonna try to get him as close to his actual power as I can, though it may be a bit off."
"Nothing I can't handle," Pan said. "Alright, bring it on!"
Pan went for a punch but within seconds, Dyspo dodged and appeared by her side, kicking Pan in the ribs. As she went flying, he ran around and kicked her in the back, knocking her to the ground."
"Ha! Too slow!" Dyspo taunted.
"Huh, it even has his personality," Cabba said. "Interesting."
Pan stood up, dusting herself off, "Alright, so he is tough, but I can be tougher!" Pan powered into Super Saiyan and went after Dyspo again, but the Pride Trooper ducked her punch and hit an uppercut, knocking her into the air, then flew up to kick her back down.
"Wow, he's fast," Bulla said.
"Pan, remember to strategize!" Cabba said.
"Yeah, yeah, I got it!" Pan said, standing back up. "I won't let this creep get the best of me."
She went in to attack, this time keeping her guard higher up for his counters. As she punched he zipped aside and went for a blow, but Pan was able to block, though she was still knocked off guard from the impact and staggered back, leaving her open for a kick to her ribs.
Pan cartwheeled to avoid hitting the ground and flew in for a knee attack which Dyspo blocked. She tried following up with a kick but he ducked that as well and went for an elbow to her face, knocking her aside.
Dyspo then started zipping around, picking up speed to attack again, but Pan blocked his incoming strike and punched Dyspo across the jaw. "Ha! Got him!"
"Lucky shot!" Dyspo then kneed Pan in the stomach, but she held onto his leg and tossed him, charging a ki blast and sending it at him. Dyspo kicked it away and zoomed in fast, hitting Pan with a few quick strikes at various angles and finishing with a kick to her sides.
"She isn't doing too well," Caulifla noted. "Should we step in?"
"I'll do it!" Kid Pan said, flying in before anyone could stop her. "Take this!"
She flew in for a punch but Dyspo effortlessly blocked and punched her back, knocking her toward Caulifla.
"Got ya!" Caulifla managed to catch Kid Pan, though skidded across the ground from the power. "That bastard hits hard."
"You ain't no match for me!" Dyspo said. He turned back to Pan and then took a massive blow to his jaw.
"Got you!" She began charging her ki for a follow up attack. "Take this, KAMEHAME-HA!"
Dyspo got blasted back, the hero attempting to push the attack away. However her felt a kick to his back, courtesy of the little Pan. "Take that!"
"Why you!" Dyspo managed to deflect the beam, but that left him open for an attempt from Pan, getting him across the jaw while Kid Pan kicked him in the face. The two then hit an uppercut, knocking him into the air, then zipped up and blasted him down.
"Alright, good, that's enough of that," Cabba said, using the device to make Dyspo disappear.
"Hey, we weren't done!" Pan said.
"I just wanted to test it out, plus if this drew out more, you would have been drained," Cabba said. "Let's take it little by little."
"Alright, but now I get to choose who you're gonna fight," Pan said, taking the device. "And I pick this guy." Using the device, Pan summoned General Rildlo, the robot leader looking ready for battle.
"So who's he suppose to be?" Caulifla asked.
"That's Rilldo, he's a machine mutant from Planet M-2, and the general of an army led by the evil Dr. Myuu," Pan said.
"Yeah I heard of him, didn't he give you, my brother and Goku a hard time at one point?" Bulla asked.
"This should be a weaker version of him, though even in this form he's stronger than Majin Buu, according to Grandpa at least," Pan said.
"Alright, I think I can take him," Cabba said, powering into Super Saiyan 2. "Let's do this!"
The two clashed against one another, Cabba already having an upper hand as he knocked Rilldo back and began his assault.
"Cabba's got this," Bulla said, the others agreeing while Kid Pan looked on in intense curiosity.
Back on Z-Earth, Gohan continued his intense training, this time sparring with Goku, both in their Super Saiyan 3 form. Videl sat back near Seventeen and Eighteen, enjoying the spar between the father and son.
"Months ago I could barely keep up, now I can keep up a little," Videl said.
"That's good to know, remember to keep following with your senses," Eighteen said. "Of course that's something even I can barely do."
"Yeah, it's a pain, almost like we're built to not be able to," Seventeen said. "Guess Doctor Gero forgot to program it."
"Also, seems like Gohan's been fighting a bit differently than before," Videl said. "He's much more careful with his strikes."
"Must be his training with Zamasu, though even with that precision he can barely land a blow on Goku," Eighteen said.
"Goku's pretty quick on the hand movements himself, he's very good at adapting to styles, must be a Saiyan thing," Seventeen said.
"Saiyans are genetically bred to fight, they can probably master any style after seeing it for only a little bit," Eighteen said.
"Goku did mention to me once that he learned that Kamehameha attack because he saw that Master Roshi guy doing it once," Videl said.
"Yeah, the old man needed fifty years to figure it out, and Goku figured it out in seconds, how embarrassing," Seventeen joked.
"Oh give it a rest, Roshi's only human, he's still impressive than most humans out there," Eighteen said.
"Not knocking the old man or anything, but it would be a blow to his ego," Seventeen said. "Even the two of us could master that move better than he could."
"I want to do energy blasts like that too soon," Videl said.
"Focus on your physical strength before you start firing blasts," Eighteen said. "That can drain energy fast."
"Not that we would know, our energy supply is unlimited," Seventeen boasted.
"Pretty sure she knows that already," Eighteen said.
"It's fine, he doesn't bother me or anything," Videl said.
"Once again, you're my favorite," Seventeen said, rubbing her head. "You're one cool kid."
Videl did her best not to enter a giggle fit from Seventeen's affection, "Th-thanks, you're one cool dude."
Nearby Gohan got whacked hard to the ground, the boy powering out of his Super Saiyan form. "Well dad's gotten stronger. I swear it's like he adjusted to Super Saiyan 3 better than I could."
"He's just got more natural talent," Seventeen said.
"You're a smarter fighter though," Eighteen said with a wink. "So don't worry too much about it."
Gohan blushed a bit from Eighteen's kind words, "Yeah you're right Eighteen."
"Eighteen's a good onee-chan," Seventeen joked.
"I told you to stop talking like that, it's weird," Eighteen said.
Goku landed down, powering out of his Super Saiyan 3 form, "Man that form takes a lot out of you. Great work today Gohan, you did great."
"Thanks, I'm still having trouble mastering the teachings of Lord Zamasu though," Gohan said.
"You'll get there, sometimes it takes some practice," Goku said. "It took me months to figure out King Kai's teachings."
"Speaking of which, I wonder if Zamasu knows the Spirit Bomb?" Gohan wondered.
"I don't think so, only King Kai knows," Goku said. "It's a good move, but very time consuming."
"At least it gets things done," Seventeen said.
"Eh, sort of, it did help against Vegeta, but did nothing against Frieza," Goku said. "Aside from ticking him off at least."
"Don't give up on the Spirit Bomb, it might come in handy one day," Gohan said.
"That something you figured out from your time in the future?" Goku asked.
"Sort of," Gohan said. "I don't know all the details though."
"That's fine, I like a little surprise," Goku said before walking off. "Well I'm going to keep practicing a bit more on my own, you should get some rest son."
"I think I have some energy left though," Gohan said. "Maybe I can-"
"If you have energy, mind coming with me a moment then?" Videl asked.
"Huh?" Gohan looked to the girl. "Uh, sure, I guess."
Videl dragged Gohan off, both Seventeen and Eighteen looking on in confusion.
"Looks like Gohan's busy again," Seventeen said. "At least he and Videl are getting closer, I thought she would hate him."
"Girls are like that, they act tough but they can be softies," Eighteen said.
"You mean like you?" Seventeen teased.
"Pfft, hell no," Eighteen said. "I'm bad down to my core."
Seventeen stood up, stretching his legs. "Well I'm off for a quick fly, maybe find a car and drive it around."
"Wait don't!" Eighteen called but Seventeen took off. "He better not cause more road trouble!"
Meanwhile with Videl, she had taken off her shirt, had her bare breasts pressed against Gohan's bare back, as she stroked his private area from behind.
"Can't let you slack off on this," Videl said, pumping faster. "Don't worry about paying the favor back, I'm just in a good mood."
"Y-eah..." Gohan said, feeling a bit odd. "How much longer do we do this?"
"In a few weeks we'll go to the next step," Videl said. "Just remember, you're not my main prize."
"Yeah, that was a the deal, we help each other get ready for the ones we love," Gohan said, wincing a bit.
"Damn right," Videl said, moving faster. "Let's play a game now, see how long you can endure without climaxing."
"Y-yeah, sure," Gohan said. A weird endurance test, nothing he couldn't handle.
One week later, it was time. Chronoa contacted Pan and Cabba, bringing them straight to the time nest.
"You needed us ma'am?" Cabba asked.
"Yes, it's Sealas," Chronoa explained. "We finally tracked him down!"
"Wait really!?" Pan asked. "That's great, where is he? Or when is he?"
"He's at a very risky time period, it's during the time Goku first did battle against The God of Destruction Beerus," Chronoa said. "I'm worried that Sealas is going to try and steal one or both of their power. Goku's power being used for evil is bad enough, but a God of Destruction will cause way too many catastrophes. You have to stop him, and fast!"
"Don't have to tell me twice," Cabba said, then turned to the girl beside him. "Let's go, fast!"
"Right!" Pan said, the two being transported through a portal to the proper timeline.
The two found themselves in a wasteland area, both quickly looking around for any sign of Sealas, hoping to find him before he found Goku or Beerus.
"We gotta move fast, if Sealas gains the power of a Destroyer God, there's no telling what he could do with that power!" Cabba said.
"How bad would it be?" Pan asked.
"A Destroyer God has the ability to instantly destroy anything," Cabba explained. "They can make it vanish without a trace, if Sealas got that power then he'd be that much more dangerous."
Suddenly Pan felt some vibrations, "Over there!"
From the distance, Cabba could see what looked like Goku in his Super Saiyan God form doing battle against Beerus. "Looks like their fight's started."
"Wow, seems like they're putting power into their blows," Pan said. "It's weird that I can't sense it, kind of hate that."
"God Energy is a bit of a mystery, it's possible for a mortal to sense, but not without practice," Cabba said.
"So you two have come," Came Sealas's voice. The two turned around and spotted the creature, his appearance having drastically changed to having a completely dark body with long silver hair, giving off a menacing aroma.
"Sealas?" Cabba asked, surprised by the sight before him.
"What happened to you?" Pan asked, looking weirded out.
"When you two destroyed Ahms, he had a little power left in him for me to use," Seleas explained. "I have merged with that power to become stronger! With that strength, I will destroy you and then the rest of the Time Patrollers! I will use my strength to fulfil my goals and purposes!"
"Sorry, we can't allow that," Cabba said. "We won't let you manipulate time to your liking."
"You still don't get it, I'm trying to fix the mistakes that were made! You need me!" Sealas shouted.
"Mistakes were made, that much is true," Cabba said. "But it's what makes us who we are. It's what makes us Saiyans and Earthings! Namekians and Tuffles! It's what makes us human! That's not something you have the right to take from us!"
"Such insolent thinking!" Sealas shouted. "Now die!"
The fused being went in for an attack, knocking Cabba aside, then blocking a punch from Pan and kicking her across the air.
Cabba flew in after turning Super Saiyan 2and engaged in a quick clash against Sealas, trying to get the upper hand. Pan flew in in her own Super Saiyan form to help but Sealas blocked her strike just as he kicked Cabba. He then focused his attention on Pan and went for a punch she ducked under and made him pay with a kick to his stomach.
Pan went for a follow up knee to the face but he blocked it and blasted her back while kicking Cabba away.
"Everything I'm doing!" Sealas clashed with Cabba. "Is to make a better timeline for everyone to be at peace!"
"Your plan is too risky!" Cabba said, trying to attack. "It's nearly impossible to erase evil, your plan will be in vain!"
"Not if I have the power to stop it!" Sealas said, hitting Cabba with a forearm to the face. "I just need a few more specimens! With the power of the God of Destruction Beerus, that could be my big step to completing my goal!"
"Enough!" Cabba shouted, kicking Sealas across the jaw. "You're just spouting nonsense! Trying to justify your evil!"
"You simple minded fool!" Sealas said, kneeing Cabba hard in the stomach and hitting an uppercut. He attempted another blow but Pan grabbed his arm.
"I don't think so" She tried pulling Sealas off but the fighter had turned around to punch her across the jaw.
Suddenly he created a pink ki blade and attempted to attack Pan but the girl quickly evaded, not before losing part of her shirt. "Whoa! A pink blade!?" She quickly flew back, checking where she was cut. Luckily it was minor but still a close call. "That attack is just like what Goku Black uses."
"With the power of Ahms, I now have what he has," Sealas said, flying in again, attacking with the blade.
Cabba flew in to attack from behind with a kick, promoting the fighter to try the blade on him, but boy barely dodging.
"Not good!" Cabba kicked again, this time firing a ki blast from his foot.
"Gonna need more than that!" Sealas attacked again but Cabba was quick to dodge, barely avoiding each attack and eventually kick a kick to the chest.
"Galick-" Suddenly Sealas had hit him with punch out of nowhere, surprising the warrior.
"I'm coming Cabba!" Pan flew in to attack, when suddenly Sealas was in front of her, having punched her in the jaw.
"Is he...using the Time Skip!?" Cabba wondered. His question was answered when Sealas moved again, hitting Cabba at various angles within a second.
"Time skip!? Like that Hit guy uses!?" Pan asked.
"The power of Goku Black and the power of Hit are at my disposal, and not just them either!" Sealas flew back and aimed both his index fingers. "Die!"
Sealas began firing Death Beams at the two, prompting them to quickly dodge out of the way to avoid danger.
"This is Frieza's attack!" Pan said, trying to dodge, taking a few shots across her arms and legs.
"Dammit! He's almost like Cell in a way!" Cabba said, trying to block.
"Cell you say? While he himself doesn't have too many unique abilities, the ones he has are of interest to me," Sealas said, flying up and charging a familiar attack. "Kame..."
"No freaking way!" Pan shouted in disbelief.
"Ha...Me...!" Sealas continued to charge.
"Get ready!" Cabba said, as he and Pan charged their own attacks.
"HA!" Sealas fired the Kamehameha, just as Pan did, with Cabba firing the Galick Cannon. "The prized move of the Turtle School, Goku's little trademark. How fitting to destroy you both with this attack!"
"In your dreams!" Pan shouted, the two pushing harder to keep the attack back. Sealas put more power into it, and while they were close to resisting, eventually they had to pull aside and let the attack pass by them.
"That was close," Cabba said, then took a double kick toward the ground.
"Cabba!" Pan was about to check on him but Sealas flew in front of her. "Out of the way creep!"
"Hear me out," Sealas said. "You and I, our goals aren't too different."
"What are you going on about?" Pan asked.
"You see things from my perspective, when we first met you believed in my ideals, the chance to create a better timeline," Sealas said. "If you help me, I can guarantee your existence, we can wipe out everything bad in the Twelve Universes! Please, join my cause!"
"Join your cause? Maybe at one point I empathized with you, then you went and tried to erase me from existence!" Pan said. "Now a version of me is orphaned and nearly homeless! You can't expect me to help you now!"
"I can rectify that, I just need a chance to," Sealas pleaded. "What do you say?"
Pan did think about it a moment, a chance for total peace would be nice, but likely not possible. "There has to be a better way than erasing the timelines, maybe focus on making a better future than changing the past."
"It's too late for a better future," Sealas said. "Now I ask once more, join me, or perish."
"Why can't you join us!? It's never too late to do the right thing!" Pan said. "We can fix things! Bring you back to the Time Patrol! We can make it better!"
Sealas sighed in frustration, "You're too far gone it seems. I have no choice then, I'm sorry."
Sealas went for an attack but Pan quickly dodged. She was about to attack again when suddenly the pink ki blade had pierced through her chest.
"NOOO!" Cabba shouted as he flew up. "You bastard! I'll kill you!"
Cabba flew in with a massive punch to the jaw, tears rolling out of his eyes. He proceeded with a few more before Sealas eventually caught his fist and hit Cabba with a mighty uppercut. He then grabbed Cabba's ankle and flew down to aggressively toss him against a rock formation.
Meanwhile Pan was falling, having lost a bit of stamina from her stab wound. She tried holding in the blood but it was coming out fast. However her biggest concern was Cabba, the boy was now at a disadvantage.
"I...have to...help," Pan sighed in sadness. "If only I were stronger."
"Wuss!" She heard in her head.
"Huh? Caulifla?" Pan looked around, no sign of the brash female Saiyan.
"You're really just gonna give up and die!? You're part Saiyan dammit! You have the potential to over come this!"
"But, he's too strong," Pan said.
"Then be stronger! Do you want Cabba to die!? Do you want to die!? Don't you want your happy life with Cabba!?"
"I do but..."
"Then go in and kick some ass! Be a Saiyan dammit!"
Pan stopped her decent, trying to power up, "Yeah, you're right Caulifla, I have to do something!" Pan charged up, channeling her energy. "I have to save Cabba!"
Meanwhile down below, Cabba had pulled himself out of the rock formation, but not before Sealas flew in and punched Cabba back in. Sealas continued to attack the boy with blow after blow, stomping down hard and really letting Cabba feel the pain.
"That's what you get for defying me, you little fool!" Sealas pulled Cabba out and tossed him across the ground.
"I...I gotta keep fighting!" Cabba pulled himself up and got into a defensive stance. Sealas flew in, the boy blocking a few attacks and getting a punch in, but Sealas kneed him harder, knocking the air out of him. He held his palm out and blasted Cabba, knocking him across the ground.
The boy was badly bruised, his armor broken, his clothes torn, blood all over his face and parts of his body. He could barely maintain his Super Saiyan form.
"You should have given up," Sealas said, marching over, bringing out a giant trident. "It's over, once I kill you, I'll go after Goku and Beerus. Then my power will be unlimited, I will be unstoppable!"
"Sealas!" Pan shouted, flying in in a fit of rage and and punching him across the jaw, knocking him to the ground.
"Pan!? You're alright!?" Cabba asked, very relieved.
"Nothing I can't handle," Pan insisted. She was still bleeding a bit, but was too determined to care. "Don't worry about me though, let's just focus on trashing this clown!"
Sealas stood up, feeling very agitated by this girl's actions. "You just won't stay down, will you!?"
"I'm stubborn like that," Pan teased.
"Fine, you can die together!" Sealas said, sending his spear at her. The girl quickly kicked it aside and punched him across the jaw once again, and then hit an uppercut.
"I plan on doing things together with Cabba, dying is not one of them! Not yet at least!" Pan said and went for another punch to his face.
Sealas returned the punch and went for another but Cabba flew in with a kick. Sealas then angrily grabbed Cabba's ankle and slammed him down hard. He back handed Pan away and focused back on Cabba, stomping hard on his ribs.
"Trying to defy me! Coming between me and my goals!" Sealas pressed harder. "It will be a pleasure to end you both! You are the stepping stone to my success!"
Sealas pressed his foot down harder, Cabba screaming in pain as his his ribs being crushed.
"Cabba!" Pan started getting angrier as she powered up. "You dumbass jerk! If you don't get off, I'll make you regret it!"
"Enough of your bickering!" In an instant, Sealas punched her across the jaw, but she barely moved. He went for another but this time Pan predicted his movements and grabbed his fist. "Impossible!"
"You're pissing me off!" Pan shouted, her rage giving her a boost in strength as she punched him hard in the chest. Sealas was about to attack again but noticed that Pan was still powering up. "For what you did to the other me! For hurting a boy I deeply care about! I'm gonna make this hurt!"
She put out an energy surge so strong, even Goku felt it from nearby. "What was that?"
"Hey! It's rude to not focus when you're fighting someone!" Beerus scolded as he punched Goku.
"Figure that out later then," Goku said, going back into his fight.
Pan continued to power up, getting Sealas a bit worried as lightning flashed around her body. Within seconds, the girl had ascended past a Super Saiyan, much to Cabba's amazement.
"Pan! You've gotten stronger!" Cabba acknowledged.
Pan, now a Super Saiyan 2, huffed in frustration. "Get away..."
"Repeat that!" Sealas said.
Pan's rage grew, "Get away from Cabba!" She flew in and punched Sealas hard! "Cabba is precious to me!" She delivered another punch! "He means everything to me!" She continued her attack. "He's the boy that I love! How dare you hurt him!" Pan delivered a massive blow to his gut, knocking him into the air, the fusion spitting out some blood.
"Damn you! Don't think just because your power boosted a bit means you'll defeat me!" Sealas said.
"Alone, I think she can take you, she's got the skill," Cabba said, walking over. "Together, there's nothing we can't do."
"Nonsense! Power is everything! And I have power!" Sealas shouted.
"If you believe that, then you're a fool," Cabba said, turning to Pan. "Let's go."
"Yeah," Pan said, the two flying in to attack, both overwhelming Sealas with blow after blow.
"I will not lose!" Sealas went for a punch but the two double kneed him and then double elbowed him to the ground below.
"Let's end this!" Cabba said, charging up his Galick Cannon.
"Right behind you!" Pan said, charging up her Kamehameha.
At max power and at their fullest strength, the two sent down a beam that completely overwhelmed Sealas, the creature slowly getting obliterated by the power.
"Is this...the end?" Sealas wondered as he slowly faded into nothing. "I have failed then, I'm sorry Towa."
After the attack, Sealas was no more, Cabba and Pan had succeeded in their mission. The timeline was safe, Goku and Beerus were no longer in danger, the two continuing their fight into the Earth's Atomsphere.
"Glad we pulled that off," Cabba said.
"Yeah, really-" Pan coughed up some blood as she began to power out of Super Saiyan 2 and lose consciousness.
"Pan!" Cabba quickly caught her and gently lowered her to the ground. She was still bleeding from the attack, acting quickly he tore off her shirt and used part of his own as a patch to stop the bleeding. "I got you Pan, you're safe."
"Cabba...Pan was somewhat in a daze as she spoke. "I love you..."
The boy hesitated to answer, even in her state he'd rather not say something he wasn't too sure of. "Yeah, I know."
In the Demon Realm, Towa could sense that Sealas had been defeated, the woman looking a bit disheartened. "There goes a promising young scientist."
"What a waste of talent," Mechikabura said. "But it is fine, a lot of his research will be put to good use."
"Yes, he's helped quite a bit, plus his distractions let me work without interruption," Towa said, holding out a Majin Energy device. "I've slowly been gathering strength from various warriors, the Time Patrol has been extra busy lately, but none the wiser to my movements."
"Good, soon the Demon Realm will take over, just as we always planned," Mechikabura said.
"And I will have created the ultimate being," Towa said, laughing menacingly.
Cabba and Pan had more ahead of them, but one major obstacle was finally out of the way. The two were unaware of what was to coming within the coming weeks.
