Chapter Eighteen
I'm Always There For You
She felt like crying. How could he think she had anything to do with those threatening letters? How could he think that she would tell anyone? Just how little did he actually know of her?
It was her fault, she figured. For seven years she had shut him out, so she shouldn't be surprised that her own father didn't even know her. That he would actually consider her as someone who would send threatening letters, or know the one who did.
She shouldn't be surprised, but it still hurt.
Lying on her bed, she hugged her pillow and sniffed. If he hadn't lied, or even, if she simply hadn't figured out the truth, then what their relationship would be like today? Would they still train together? Would they still watch horror movies in the dark while eating a huge bowl of ice cream? Would she still admire him unconditionally? Would she be proud to be his daughter, and thrive to be like him? If she hadn't seen through his lie, would he still be her hero?
She rolled on her back, her arms and legs wide apart on either side of the bed, and stared at the ceiling. She sniffed again, rubbed her nose and eyes, and then let out a heavy sigh. Longing for a comforting presence, Videl reached over towards her night table and picked up her cell phone. She bit down on her lip as she stared at the familiar name, not sure that it was a good idea. In the end, she decided to go for it ━ she needed him too much right now.
Her phone vibrated in her hand only a few moments after she hit send. The text she got read, I'm on my way.
A small, relieved smile formed on her lips, and she held her device to her heart, closing her eyes. She knew she could always count on Gohan when she needed him.
x
He hadn't even let his mother know he was leaving. Gohan knew he should have told her, that she was most definitely going to freak out when she noticed that he was gone, but Videl's text had sounded so desperate and urgent that he didn't want to risk losing time by explaining to his mom that he needed to go. He would've had to lie to her, too, and he was so bad at it that Chichi would've been bound to see through it, and then a lot of drama would have ensued, and Gohan really had no time to deal with all that.
He had barely gotten home from school when he got Videl's text. He figured it would be alright as long as he wouldn't be out too late.
Slowing down for a bit, he took out his phone from his back pocket and read the text again, a worried frown tarnishing his features.
Can you come over? I'll be waiting for you on my balcony. Please come, Gohan. I need to see you. Please.
He tried to swallow the dry lump caught in his throat, but it seemed to only get bigger and tighter. He didn't like it. For Videl to be so desperate and ask him to come see her like that… He didn't like it at all. Something was wrong. Something must have happened to her, and it did not look good. He felt like his heart had dropped in the pit of his stomach.
Reaching Satan City, Gohan flew towards the direction of Videl's house. As the luxurious mansion came into view, flashes of what happened last night when he went to Videl's bedroom flickered in his mind, and the teen flushed brightly at the very vivid memory.
Now was not the time for such recollections. Videl needed him, and he had to be there for her. He frowned in worry and hoped it wasn't anything too serious. More importantly, he hoped he would be able to comfort his girlfriend.
He hovered around the roof, looking for Videl on her balcony, and soon enough he saw her, leaning over the railing and scrutinizing the sky ahead of her, obviously hoping to see him fly toward her. Gohan was coming from the opposite direction, however, so she didn't notice him until his foot touched the floor of her balcony. She turned around swiftly, and the next thing he knew her arms were tightly bound around his neck, hugging him desperately.
"Thank you for coming," she whispered, burying her nose on the crook of his neck.
He held her for as long as she needed it. Her feet weren't touching the ground, since she was so much shorter than him, and after a while Gohan ended up picking her up, like a bride, and carried her to her room.
He didn't let himself get distracted by the memory of losing his virginity with Videl in this very bedroom just the night before, and walked over to her bed. He sat down, while Videl snuggled up to him.
"What's wrong?" he asked gently, his voice hushed, letting his fingers run through her beautiful hair. He was glad she'd let it down.
She sniffed slightly. "It's silly, really. I felt really lonely."
"It's not silly," he said, lifting her chin to look at her. He smiled. "You can count on me whenever you feel lonely. I'll always come for you, no matter what."
She moved closer and tilted her head to the side, touching his lips with hers. Gohan let himself relax, cupping her cheek with one hand while the other pressed her closer to him. He basked in the delicious sensation of her lips, of her tongue, of her body against his, of the peachy scent of her hair. It just felt so good… He would never get tired of kissing Videl ━ in fact, every time they kissed, Gohan always found himself craving for more.
Her fast breathing was tickling his cheeks. His heart was drumming like crazy, and his face felt like fire. He leaned his forehead against hers, keeping his eyes closed, and allowed a content smile to curl his lips.
"Feeling better now?" he asked softly.
"Mhmm," was her reply.
"Did something happen, though?" he asked, still in a hushed voice.
"Yeah…"
"You want to talk about it?"
"Not really."
"Okay." A pause. "I'm here for you, you know that right?"
A smile. A peck on the lips. "I know."
He didn't mind. If Videl didn't feel like sharing her troubles, it was okay with him. He was just glad he could be of any help, simply by staying there, by her side. He would always stay with her and make her feel better. He didn't need to know the details. He didn't need to know why, how, what, when. He would never prod Videl to tell him something she didn't want to say. He would never make her do anything she didn't want to do. He was just happy to be there for her, whenever she needed him. Make her smile again when she had been crying. Hold her close when she was feeling lonely. Kiss her pain away. Make everything better again. As long as he could do all that, the rest didn't matter at all.
Videl was all that mattered.
Gohan was so nice and comfy. They were lying together in her bed. A content smile curved Videl's lips as his arms tightened around her. She kept her eyes closed and snuggled up to the warm body enveloping her. She tucked her head under his chin, and he kissed the top of her head. Videl felt her lips stretch wider. Being in Gohan's arms like this… It felt too good to be true. She felt so safe, so peaceful, so content, so warm and happy.
"Feeling better?" he asked, his voice low and gentle. Videl felt a tingle run down her spine as his breath brushed her ear.
"So much better," she replied in the same soft tone. She pulled her head back slightly, meeting his half-lidded eyes. Gohan smiled warmly, cupping her cheek, his thumb slowly moving.
In that moment, everything felt simply perfect. His gentleness, his smile, his eyes, his touch… Him. He was perfect. He truly was.
But the moment didn't last. Reality soon crept up to her as Videl looked over Gohan's shoulder, out the window, and a frown furrowed her brow. The sun was setting. Gohan would probably have to go home soon. She buried her face in his chest and sighed deeply. She didn't want him to leave. If only he could just stay with her and not have to worry about the consequences…
There was a knock on the door, followed by her father's voice.
"Videl? Can I come in?"
She sat up in a jolt, her eyes widening. No matter how strained their relationship was, her father could not catch her in bed with a boy. Even if they were still fully clothed.
"Don't!" she blurted out in panic. "I… I'm changing! I'm naked!"
There was a pause. "Alright…" came the hesitant reply, and for a moment Videl almost sighed of relief.
But it wasn't over yet.
"I just wanted to say," her father went on after another pause. "I'm really sorry about earlier. I know I should've known better… After all, you're nothing like me."
Gohan frowned at her in silent inquiry, but Videl just mouthed to him to hurry and go hide in the bathroom. He nodded in understanding and got up, not forgetting to take his shoes with him. Still, he would glance at the door from time to time on his way, but not in worry of being caught. He seemed to be lagging behind just so he could listen to what her father had to say. His curiosity was clearly getting the better of him.
"Anyway…" Hercule sighed. "I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am… for everything, really. You know, I really wish sometimes that I'd never…"
Gohan frowned slightly and shot her a look. In response, Videl mouthed to him to hurry up with an impatient wave of her hand.
Another sigh came from the other side of the door. "Are you done dressing yet? Can I come in?"
Videl scowled at Gohan, who gave her a sheepish smile in apology. "No! I was… uh, listening to you, so that kinda slowed me down…"
Her throat tightened as she finished those words. She hated how easily lying came to her.
"Can't you… I don't know, put on a robe or something? I really need to talk to you."
"Um…"
Gohan finally went into the bathroom and slowly closed the door behind him, trying to be as silent as possible.
"Give me a moment! I'm looking for it!"
Videl quickly went to her closet and rummaged through her stuff, looking for a robe so her story could be convincing.
"There it is!" she finally exclaimed. She let her gaze sweep the room, making sure Gohan didn't leave anything incriminating behind.
"So can I come in now?" her father asked with some impatience.
"Just a sec! I'm putting it on!"
She slipped her arms into the sleeves and tied her robe. She glanced at the bathroom door, before taking a deep breath. There was no reason for her father to check the bathroom, so as long as Gohan stayed quiet, they wouldn't get caught.
"Okay Dad, you can come in now."
Her eyes were on the door as the handle slowly moved and the door creaked open.
"You sure you're decent?" came her dad's hesitant voice, and Videl cracked a smile. But then she caught herself and frowned. She was supposed to be mad at him, she reminded herself.
As she recalled what her father had thought of her earlier, her face hardened, and her voice was cold when she replied. "Yes, I'm decent. You can come in."
The door opened all the way, and there he stood, the one and only Mr. Satan ━ fiddling with his thumbs like a child in trouble. He glanced up at her in guilt, but Videl maintained a blank expression. Why did she let him in her room anyway? It would've been much simpler to just tell him off just now. And she wouldn't have had to interrupt her time with Gohan.
It was all Gohan's fault, really. While it was precisely because she'd wanted to forget what had happened with her dad that she asked Gohan to come over, her boyfriend had done a little too well. So when her father had knocked on her door, she'd just been in such a good mood that she pretty much forgot that she was supposed to be mad at him.
"Well? What did you want to say?" she asked impatiently. The more Videl looked at him, the angrier she was getting.
"I'm really sorry, Videl… for everything," he pleaded, his blue eyes ━ the same exact shade of blue as her own ━ shining with distress.
"I heard it the first time you said that," she retorted coldly. "Anything else?"
Hercule heaved out a dejected sigh. "Look, Videl, I know this is all my fault. I know I screwed up. I shouldn't have lied back then. I shouldn't have taken the credit…"
"But?" she said suspiciously.
"No buts. It was a mistake and I regret what I've done."
Videl eyed him, unconvinced. "Do you really? Don't you love the fame, the glory, the wealth, the fans? You're basically a god to the whole world, and you're telling me you don't love every bit of it? Really?"
Hercule gulped. "Well…"
Videl scrunched her nose, clenching her fists at her sides. "I thought so," she said through gritted teeth.
"But still!" her father blurted hurriedly. "I hate what it's done to our relationship. I love you, sweetie… And I miss you. I miss us. We used to be so close…"
Her lips pursed. "So, would you give it back? Would you at least apologize to the real world savior for everything you've said about him and his friends? Would you give him back everything you got from his accomplishment?"
Her father looked taken aback. He frowned. "What do you mean? Even if I wanted to, nobody knows anything about the guys who were at the games."
Videl fixated her stare on her father, pondering whether she should tell him.
Ah, the hell with it.
"I do. I know him." She paused for dramatic effect, while Hercule paled at her revelation, gaping, his eyes wide.
"Wh-wha-what are you saying…?" He blabbered, dumbfounded. "How could you even…?"
"Haven't you heard of Saiyaman on the news lately?" she inquired, an eyebrow raised. Surely her father wasn't that blind? Didn't he put two and two together as well? "Didn't you recognize him? It's not like there's a bunch of golden-haired boys with super strength running about, you know. And his age fits, too. I know that he was the boy at the Cell games, and he's the one who actually defeated Cell."
"I… I guess you're right…" Hercule mumbled uneasily. "I haven't been following the news much lately…"
"I know him. The real him, I mean," Videl went on. Her father narrowed his eyes at her.
"He's told you who he really is? Why? Who is he to you?"
Videl held his gaze, standing tall and confident. She knew her father would be appalled if he learned that she had a boyfriend, but, frankly, she couldn't care less whether he found out or not.
"He goes to my school, and I eventually figured out who he was."
Relief took over his features. Videl smirked, knowing exactly why her dad was relieved, even though he really shouldn't be. But, for now, Videl decided to keep it to herself; she would drop the bomb another time. Gohan and her being together was supposed to be a secret, after all.
"So, will you?" Videl questioned, crossing her arms. "Will you apologize to him?"
She knew the answer even before the man even croaked out a dumb, "Uhh…"
Videl scowled. She should have known better. She shouldn't have bothered to ask at all. She should've known her poor excuse for a father was only capable of disappointing her.
She shouldn't have tried at all ━ and Videl promised herself: no more. This was the last time she was letting him disappoint her.
"Just… Just leave," she spat, turning away from him and pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Look, Videl… Sweat Pea…"
"Don't call me that!" she cried out angrily. "Just forget about me and leave me alone! I don't want to see you anymore!"
She pointed at the door.
"But… I…"
Videl didn't care for his dejected eyes and hunched shoulders ━ he didn't deserve anything from her. She gave him a chance and he blew it. He wasn't even man enough to do the right thing. She only asked him to apologize to Gohan, which was long overdue; she hadn't even asked him to confess to the world ━ and he couldn't even do that.
Videl watched with contempt as Hercule turned around and slowly walked out the door of her bedroom. Her lips tightly pursed and her brow deeply furrowed, she looked at the man who had held her in his arms when she was born, and truly wished she had nothing to do with him. And for a fleeting moment, Videl considered running away. Leave this place without a look back, and never return.
She shook her head, discarding the thought not a second later. Her life was here, in Satan City. She went to school here, and had her friends here, and Gohan, too… Moreover, she helped the police fight crime in this city. This was her life, and she did like her privileges despite the way she got them. Her life was in Satan City. And besides, there was no point in leaving now since she would be turning eighteen next year. Then, she would be able to leave on her own accord and not have to justify herself to anyone. She will just have to ignore her father for another year ━ the house was pretty big anyway, so it shouldn't be too hard to avoid him. She just needed to be patient. Another year, and she would be free to live by herself.
Videl smiled to herself. She could live by herself, or with Gohan. That sure sounded nice…
x
Gohan's face was scrunched up in a deep frown as he listened to the argument on the other side of the door. He had no idea Videl had confronted her dad about the Cell Games. That must be what happened before she texted him earlier, why she had needed him to comfort her.
He turned the doorknob and walked out of the bathroom. Videl smiled at him, but the light in her eyes was subdued and resigned. His heart clenched. How could he fix this? How could he help Videl forgive her father? Was such a thing even possible at this point? From what he just heard, Videl's resentment ran deep.
It wasn't going to be easy for sure, but Gohan knew he had to find a way, somehow. He had to fix the mess he had made. Mr. Satan was Videl's only family. Gohan couldn't live with himself if she never managed to patch things up with her father.
He went to Videl and pulled her to him, wrapping his arms around her. She relaxed in his embrace and let out a deep sigh.
"I don't need him to apologize to me," Gohan said softly. "He did me a favor, taking the credit. You know I wouldn't want to have to deal with the media, the fame, the people. Really, Videl. He did me a favor."
"It would've been the right thing to do," she mumbled into his chest. "You lost your dad that day, and he found nothing better to do than badmouth him, and even you. Apologizing to you would be the very least he could do. And he can't even do that."
Gohan sighed. She did have a point. Mr. Satan wasn't making this any easier for him.
"Give him time. You just sprung it on him and I'm sure he was still registering the fact that you know me. Don't give up on him just yet. I know he'll do the right thing in time."
"He'll just disappoint me again. He always does."
Gohan pursed his lips. He got why Videl felt this way, but Mr. Satan's apology to her had been sincere. The man missed his daughter, and it just broke Gohan's heart that Videl wouldn't give him another chance.
But he decided to leave it at that for now. It was just making Videl more upset to talk about her father, and he wanted to make her feel better, not worse.
He tipped up her chin to make her look at him. He could see the hurt in her eyes, even when she tried to smile, and Gohan felt his chest tighten. He leaned in and pressed his lips on hers, hoping he could kiss her pain away. Videl wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. Gohan groaned into her mouth, his head in a haze at the intoxicating sensations. They deepened the kiss, held each other closer, tighter. Getting lost in the passion.
"I… I should probably go," Gohan whispered, his lips inches from hers.
Videl buried her face in the crook of his neck, tightening her arms around his shoulders. "Or you could… stay and we could… you know."
He flushed at the proposition. But, as much as he wanted to be intimate with his girlfriend again, in this context… it just wouldn't feel right. Videl was vulnerable and sad right now. It would be like they would be doing it for the wrong reasons.
But Videl had already untucked his shirt and slid her hand under it, exploring his abs. Gohan felt his resolves crumbling at the caress. He bit his lip, refraining from letting out a moan. Videl decided to make it even harder for him and started kissing his neck.
He swallowed, his eyes shut tightly, fighting down the urge to just throw her on the bed and take her savagely, right there and then.
"Vi… Videl," he croaked out. His breath hitched when she rubbed his nipple between her thumb and forefinger. She nibbled his earlobe. He groaned in pleasure. She was killing him here…
"W… Wait…"
She paused and pulled back slightly, giving him a questioning look. Gohan sighed in relief and tried to clear his head so he could explain himself properly. Her hand was still under his shirt though, which really didn't help.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"I just…" He grabbed her forearm and gently pried her hand off his torso. "I don't think we should… not like this." He cupped her cheek, stroking it tenderly with his thumb as he looked deep into her eyes. "I love you, Videl, and I loved being… intimate with you." His face flushed as he said that, but he powered through the embarrassment. "But, it's something so… so special and beautiful, and if we do it now, when you're sad and upset, it just… It wouldn't feel right. It should be an act of love, not something you do to make yourself feel better and forget about your problems, you know?"
Her brow furrowed in thought. She lowered her gaze to his chest and played with the fabric of his shirt. "I get what you're saying, but I…" She sighed, moving closer to him. She put her arms around him, rested the side of her face against his torso, and let her eyes slide shut. Gohan wrapped his arms around her. "I… I want to feel close to you. I do want to forget about everything else and be with you, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be an act of love. I need you, Gohan… Comfort me…"
He swallowed. His face was burning. "Videl, you're… vulnerable right now. I'd feel like I'd be taking advantage of you."
"Don't be silly. You're my boyfriend, and it's not like it'd be our first time." She pulled away but didn't meet his gaze. Her eyebrows were scrunched up. "Do you not want me?"
"That… That's not it at all!" he said, almost in a panic. "Of course I…" He trailed off and blushed. It was a wonder he had been able to be so assertive last night and tell Videl he wanted to take that step with her.
He sighed and slumped his shoulders. He brushed her bangs with the tip of his fingers and tucked a few strands behind her ear. "I'm sorry, Videl. I didn't mean to make you feel unwanted… I was just trying to do the right thing."
She gave him an ironic smirk. "The right thing would be not to make your girlfriend beg for sex."
He flushed brightly and turned his head away, withdrawing his hand to cover his nose and mouth with it. "Th-That's not what I was trying to do, I swear…"
Videl giggled. His gaze was drawn to her as she lifted her shirt over her head. Gohan felt a lump rise in his throat at the sight of her bra-covered breasts. The way the thin piece of lingerie outlined them and pushed them together was making his lower stomach burn.
He swallowed. She was sliding off her shorts now, and then she reached to her back to unclasp her bra. His whole body overheated as Videl unraveled her beautiful chest… He stared, unable to move, unable to form a single coherent thought. Last night, her bedroom was dark save from the one lamp at her bedside; but now it was brightly lit, and watching Videl undress for him like this, it was a whole different experience.
His pants felt too tight around his crotch. She was so sexy. Her body was pure perfection. He let his eyes travel up along her legs, to her shapely hips, her thin waist, her toned stomach. He swallowed as he stared at her breasts again. Goodness, could anything be more desirable than the sight of her gorgeous body?
He was heaving as his hands moved in their own accord and started undoing his belt. Videl smiled coyly, her cheeks a lovely pink color; she backed up to her bed and sat down, before climbing onto it until she reached the headboard.
Gohan kicked off his pants and pulled his shirt over his head. He saw her gaze trail on his bare torso, and he enjoyed the way her face got redder and her breathing deepened. He eagerly joined his near-naked girlfriend on the bed and moved on top of her, pressing his body down on hers. He sighed in delight at the way her lovely curves meshed against him. He looked deep into her eyes.
"You're so beautiful," he murmured hoarsely, cupping her cheek. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he let her pull him to her, meeting her lips in a tender kiss.
He slid his hands down her neck, to her shoulders, before moving them to her chest. His fingers sunk into the plush mounds, and he swallowed Videl's moan at his touch. She was so soft… He rubbed her nipples with his thumbs, and Gohan reveled at the way his girlfriend shivered against him. Everything about her was so intoxicating.
He pulled back from the kiss, keeping his eyes closed as their heavy breaths mingled. He kept fondling her breasts, encouraged by Videl's moans and sighs of pleasure.
"Gohan…" she whimpered.
The hair rose all over his body. Goodness, he lived to hear her say his name like this…
He felt her hand on his cheek while the other slid down his torso, tracing the bulge of his pectoral, slowly traveling down his abs. He hummed in appreciation. His skin burned from her touch.
She reached the hem of his boxers and started lowering them, just enough to free his bursting sex. Gohan buried his face in the crook of her neck and planted soft, hot kisses on her skin, slowly making his way down to her beautiful breasts. Videl arched her back and moaned loudly when he wrapped his mouth around her hardened nipple, flicking it with his tongue.
Gohan felt himself falter when Videl grabbed his throbbing member. She rubbed him, her hand moving back and forth. He buried his face between her voluptuous mounds and pushed them together with his hands, stifling his groan against her skin.
She pushed him on his back, sitting up beside him as her hand continued moving up and down his erection. Gohan threw his head back and moaned her name. His eyes shut tightly, his chest heaved deeply as the pleasure kept building up.
"Ahh… It feels so good, Videl… Oh, god…"
He felt her shift positions, moving between his legs. She let go of his sex and proceeded to remove his boxers completely. Gohan propped himself onto his elbows to look at her, panting heavily. She gave him a sheepish smile, flicking her hair over her shoulder and tucking a few strands behind her ear.
"I don't know if I'll be any good at this," she said. "But you… um… you went down on me last night…" She flushed and cast her eyes down in apparent embarrassment. "…so I want to return the favor."
Gohan raised an eyebrow and tilted his head, not quite familiar with the slang she used. He had no idea what she meant and what "favor" she planned the return.
His interrogations were soon answered as Videl lowered her head between his legs and opened her mouth. His eyes widened as she took his length inside her warm and wet cavern, and a jolt of electricity shot through his body. His hips jerked on their own accord, his head dropped back onto the pillow, and he let out a shaky moan.
He couldn't believe Videl was actually…
Good gods, the way she's sucking my…
He was losing his mind. The pleasure was so intense. It shot through every fiber of his being, making his whole body burn. He couldn't control his voice, he couldn't control his hips, thrusting upward to go deeper inside Videl's mouth ━ he couldn't control anything anymore. He felt weak, completely at her mercy. His head was in a haze, swirling in the most exquisite sensations.
This was… heavenly.
"Vi… Videl…" he gasped out. "I… I'm… I'm gonna…"
She sucked hard as she slowly let up, and ran her tongue over his tip. Gohan sat up quickly, grabbed her shoulder and pushed her off him just as he reached his climax, squirting on her bedsheets. He let out a long groan at the delectable feeling, his body trembling all over. That felt so good.
Videl brushed her finger over his tip and his hips bucked in response. He cracked his eyes open, watching her bring her hand to her mouth, licking his semen off her index finger.
The sight of her tasting him turned him on so damn much, he was getting hard again.
She caught him staring and blushed. "I was just curious how it tasted." She leaned closer to his crotch again and ran her tongue over his length, licking it clean. Gohan flopped back onto the bed, raising his hands to his face, and moaned against them, trying to stifle the embarrassing sounds he couldn't help making.
"It's very bitter," she said as she drew back from his once again fully erect sex. "And salty. But I don't dislike it."
His face caught fire at her description; thankfully, it was still hidden behind his large hands. Videl giggled. She straddled his midsection and rubbed her crotch against his hard-on. His eyes rolled in the back of his head at the feeling. When did she take off her panties?
He felt her soft hands on his, and she gently pried them off his face. His heart fluttered at the sight of her loving smile. She cupped his cheek, brushing his lips with her thumb.
"I love you, Gohan."
He brought his hand on the nape of her neck, his fingers tangling in her thick raven locks, and pulled her to him for a kiss. She sighed in delight against his lips, running her fingers through his hair as the kiss deepened.
Videl shifted on top of him, raising her hips before carefully bringing them down. Gohan felt his mind shut off completely as he slowly entered her. He groaned into her mouth; she was so tight and warm and slippery inside. He felt her shudder against him as his penis went all the way in.
"Does… Does it hurt?" he asked in a breathless whisper, pulling back from the kiss.
"A… A little," Videl answered honestly. "But it feels… really good, too."
He smiled at her. "I'm glad."
Videl started moving on top of him and rocked her hips back and forth. Gohan let her set the rhythm, enjoying her slow pace and the intoxicating friction it was creating. He brushed her hair over her shoulder, wrapping his other arm around her to pull her closer against him. He nuzzled her neck and planted soft, humid kisses on her skin.
It felt so good. Losing himself to Videl, becoming one with her… Gohan couldn't imagine anything better than this.
"I… hah… I love you… ghh… so much…" he groaned against her neck, his teeth grazing her skin. She moaned his name in response.
He rolled them over, getting on top, and grabbed her hips, thrusting faster and harder into her. Videl panted loudly with each shift of his body, holding him tighter around his back, her nails digging into his skin. The prickling pain felt strangely delectable.
Good gods, he loved the way she writhed beneath him.
Raising his head to look at her, Gohan cupped her breast and pinched her nipple, enjoying the way she thrashed her head back and cried out in pleasure. Her face was flushed, her eyes were tightly shut, and beads of sweat were rolling down her skin, all over her body. Gohan watched a droplet slowly trickle down her craned neck to her clavicle before getting lost between her breast.
He grabbed her hips and pounded her harder, unable to hold himself anymore. Videl's arms and legs tightened around him; she scratched his back once more, and then she arched hers and bucked her hips, her whole body trembling and shivering. Gohan felt her clench and quiver around his bursting sex, and the sensation was too much. He gave one last thrust and let out a guttural groan; his body shook violently on top of Videl while he came inside of her and delectable ecstasy took over him whole.
Gohan let out a shaky sigh and pulled out, rolling onto his back. Catching her breath, Videl snuggled up to him and he wrapped his arms around her as they basked in the afterglow.
"I was wrong," Gohan said after some time, watching the ceiling thoughtfully. "It doesn't matter why we do it ━ it's always an act of love."
Videl laughed slightly. She cupped his cheek and reached up to kiss him. Gohan sighed in delight against her lips. How he loved this feeling…
This is the last chapter I had left in store on my blog, so updates for this story are going to be slower from now on.
