In the Demon Realm, the King Mechikabura was observing the battle about to unfold from this throne. He seemed particularly interested in the warriors present.
"That version of Goku is a fair bit stronger than I would have guessed," Mechikabura said. "Quite astonishing how quickly his power had raised, much stronger than he would have been in the main timeline. The same could be said for all his allies." The King stood off his throne, dusting himself off a bit. "Perhaps I'll pay a visit, see this power up close and personal."
Chronoa looked on in worry as now Goku, Gohan, Seventeen and Eighteen of the Z Timeline had gotten mixed up in this fight. The good thing is that now there are more numbers on the side of the heroes, and she hoped it would be enough to stop the sinister scientist and her diabolical creation.
She wasn't along in the Time Nest, in addition to both Trunks and Zangya, Kid Pan was present and seeing her friends and family in such a precarious position.
"Grandpa made it!" Kid Pan said, then turned her attention to the Supreme Kai of Time, "Do you think he can save everyone?"
"I hope he can, this version of Goku is strong, but I don't know if he's strong enough," Chronoa said. "But strength isn't everything, and Goku's a really smart fighter. I just hope that if he needs help, he can put his pride aside long enough to accept it."
"Grandpa will figure something out, that's why he's the best fighter in the world!" Kid Pan said.
"In a fight like this, being the best in one world isn't enough," Chronoa commented.
"Well, good luck with this," Zangya said, making her exit.
"You know you could at least pretend to care," Trunks said.
"Now that wouldn't be honest, would it," Zangya snarked, a hint of a smile on her face.
"Never mind her, our side can still win," Chronoa said, looking down at the scroll. "They have the potential, we just need to believe in them."
Back in the Dystopian Timeline, Mira had gotten into a stance, facing off against the Super Saiyan God that was Goku. Bulma and Gohan stood back, awaiting what could happen.
"So has he improved that form at all?" Bulma asked.
"He trains in it regularly, I think he's trying to achieve a form higher than that," Gohan said.
"Is it feasible?" Bulma asked.
"Yes, the form higher than a Super Saiyan God is the Super Saiyan version of a Super Saiyan God," Gohan explained. "To keep it simple it's just called Super Saiyan Blue."
"So does that mean Super Saiyan with blue hair instead of golden?" Bulma asked.
"Yeah, simple as that," Gohan said. "Dad and Vegeta are both trying to master it, but me, I'm working on something else, something from Pan's timeline."
"Speaking of Pan, she, Bulla and Cabba can't do that form either, can they?" Bulma asked.
"Not to my knowledge, unless Cabba, Caulifla and Kale figured it out," Gohan said. He turned to see Cabba trying to help Pan away, despite his injuries. "Oh, that reminds me." He grabbed his pouch and dumped out the materials. "Alright there's enough for everyone here who got injured, and with two to spare."
"What are those beans exactly?" Bulma asked.
"Sensu beans, they have amazing healing properties," Gohan said. "In addition to keeping you full for ten days, which really isn't enough for my dad, they also heal your injuries. But they can't cure any illnesses, so they're not a cure all type deal."
"That sounds so fascinating," Bulma said.
Gohan placed the extra back in his pouch and took a look around, "I don't see Caulifla, Kale or Bulla anywhere, but I can faintly sense their presence. For now I'll get these to Cabba and Pan, you stay back and stay out of danger."
"Sure thing," Bulma said.
Gohan quickly made his way over to Cabba and Pan, the two immediately taking note of his presence.
"Gohan, we're glad to see you," Cabba said. "Little surprised you're here."
"Thank the little Pan and Bulma, they asked the Supreme Kai of Time to get me, dad, Seventeen and Eighteen," Gohan explained.
"I don't suppose anyone else knows," Cabba said.
"No, the only other person who knows we're here is my mom, and she's not a fighter," Gohan said.
"What about Videl?" Cabba asked. "I'm surprised she's not here with you."
"Videl wasn't at our house at the time, so Trunks couldn't pick her up," Gohan said, then noticed something strange about Cabba. "Your arm looks really limp."
Cabba looked to his appendage, "I think it might be broken, that or just really badly damaged."
"Well that's why I'm here," Gohan said, grabbing a Sensu Bean and handing it to Cabba. "Here take this." He gave one to the young girl. "You too Pan."
"Is that a sensu bean?" Pan aksed, eyeing the sage remedy.
"Yeah, eat up," Gohan said.
Cabba took the bean and immediately his injuries disappeared, his arm felt so much better and he felt all his energy come back, and then some. "Wow, it worked! My power is back!"
"That's good," Gohan said, then turned to Pan. "Hey, eat up."
"I think I need help chewing, my mouth hurts," Pan insisted, Gohan immediately furrowing his brow at the girl. "I could use the help of a nice young boy."
"Pan, not the time for this!" Gohan said, shoving the bean into her mouth. "Eat it up."
Pan rolled her eyes in annoyance and ate the bean, quickly feeling her power returning to her. She stood up, checking herself. "I feel much better now, and stronger."
"Saiyans do get a boost when they've healed from a big injury," Gohan said. "One of the perks of having Saiyan blood."
"Yeah you're right," Cabba said, checking his arm. "I've seen this happen a few times myself, especially during the Tournament of Power."
"And during the fight against The Shadow Dragons," Pan added.
"You said anyone with Saiyan genes, you think that could include Mira?" Cabba asked. "He got power from Saiyans after all."
"It's possible, I remember papa telling me that Cell got stronger after recovering from an explosion since he had Saiyan DNA," Pan said.
"Which means that if we're not quick to bring down Mira, he's just going to come back stronger," Gohan said, grabbing some more beans. "Listen, I'm gonna go find Caulifla, Kale and Bulla and get them healed up to, in the mean time, stay close to Bulma and keep her safe while my dad fights Mira."
"Sure thing," Cabba said, and turned to Pan. "Ready to fly?"
"More than ready," Pan said as she flew after Cabba, leaving Gohan behind.
"Maybe it was hypocritical of me to get annoyed at Pan, but I'd rather she not do the same stupid stuff that I've done, or have been doing," Gohan said as he searched out his friends. "Saiyan Puberty really sucks."
Mira had powered up again, Goku doing the same as both warriors looked ready to clash. In an instance, Mira had flown in with a punch to Goku, but the Saiyan warrior was quick to block.
"Gonna need more than that!" Goku said as he went for a kick which Mira blocked.
"Same on your end," Mira said, the two jumping back a bit. After a few more seconds of staring down, Mira had fired a ki blast at Goku, the fighter in orange deflecting as he rushed in to engage in a clash with Mira, the two heading to the skies above.
Mira tried another kick to Goku, but this time his opponent grabbed the leg instead and flung the big android down to the ground below, hitting hard.
Goku flew down for a punch, though unfortunately it was blocked and Goku was left open for a ki blast to his face, Mira taking the moment to stand and punch the stunned Goku through a building.
"Goku!" Cabba called in worry.
"Don't worry, he can pull this off," Pan reassured, hoping she was right.
As this continued in the background, Gohan had made his way over to Bulla, the girl badly bruised and bleeding a lot from her beatdown. He helped her sit up, trying to get her attention. "Bulla, are you with me?"
"Huh?" Bulla opened her eyes to face the boy, "Gohan?"
"Here, eat up," Gohan said, placing the bean in her mouth. She at least had enough strength to chew and swallow the bean, her power immediately coming back.
"Whoa!" Bulla stood up, feeling amazing. "All my strength is back! Wow those Sensu beans really do the trick!"
"Wow, you're so much stronger than you were the first time I met you," Gohan said. "You must have been training hard."
"You can thank my dad for that," Bulla said, then the two heard an explosion in the background. They turned to see that a building had been destroyed while Goku and Mira once again clashed in the background. "Goku's here too!?"
"Yeah, the one from my timeline," Gohan said. "He doesn't have Super Saiyan 4 or Super Saiyan Blue, but he is mastering Super Saiyan God, I hope that's enough."
"Hey if worse comes to worse, we can try to help," Bulla said. "I mean I know your dad doesn't like help but he might swallow his pride if he needs to."
"We'll worry about that if the time comes for it, now Cabba and Pan are healed up and waiting with Bulma, you should go wait with them while I go find Caulifla and Kale," Gohan instructed.
"Will do, thanks Gohan," Bulla said, flying off to meet with the young version of her mother.
Gohan tried sensing around for any sign of Caulifla or Kale, "They're around here, I gotta find them and quick."
In the skies, Goku had punched Mira across the air, the monster crashing through several buildings as Goku pursued him, getting a few more punches in before kicking him toward the ground. Goku sent a Kamehameha but Mira had recovered midair and punched the attack right back toward it's sender.
Moving quick, Goku teleported out the way and dashed right toward Mira, knocking him aside again. Goku hoped to follow up with another punch, but Mira blocked and elbowed Goku in the gut, then returned a punch, knocking Goku through the base of a tall building, knocking it over.
"Should we step back in?" Cabba asked, looking ready to fight.
"Not yet, grandpa still has a lot of fight left in him and he's not gonna want to accept help," Pan said.
"Why wouldn't he want help though, it would make him win faster if he accepted it," Bulma said.
"It's a Saiyan thing, they pride themselves on a one-on-one fight," Pan said.
"Considering I'm a Saiyan myself, I totally understand where Goku is coming from, but now is a really bad time for this type of mindset," Cabba said.
"Well unfortunately, grandpa only allows help when he knows he can't win on his own," Pan said. "Which hopefully he realizes before it really gets bad."
"Let's try to trust Goku's judgement then," Bulma said.
Not too far off, another battle was going on as both Seventeen and Eighteen were going against Towa, both of them trying to land a blow against the Demon Realm scientist. However she proved to be a lot faster than they thought.
"Didn't expect much resistance from you, guess you're not just the brains!" Seventeen said, trying to land a blow.
"I'm a high ranking member of the Demon Realm!" Towa said, blasting Seventeen back. "You really think I would have the strength of a simple commoner!?"
Eighteen tried landing a blow whole Towa seemed distracted, but the scientist woman had almost easily dodged and hit Eighteen with an uppercut and kicked her aside.
"She can't last forever," Seventeen said, flying over to Eighteen. "Let's take her down sis!"
"If you think your infinite energy will save you here, then I'm afraid you are horribly mistaken!" Towa said, readying her power. "My power may not be infinite but it's still more than enough to bring down obsolete models such as yourself."
"You'll know all about obsolete once that big oaf you created gets blasted to hell by Goku or Gohan," Eighteen said. "Maybe both, make it a father-son event."
"Though you might not even live long enough to see it happen," Seventeen said. "Think of it as a favor from us, you won't have time to bask in your own failures."
"I will never understand what brings you your confidence, perhaps it is a mask to hide your insecurities, after all you two have been through so much in your life," Towa said. "Growing up with no one looking out for you, I mean you two were captured by a doctor for experimentation and no one batted an eye, the only take away is your abilities as Artificial Humans. Take that away though, and soon you'll be the same disposable garbage you've always been since your childhood."
"Wow, you really know how to run your mouth, don't you?" Seventeen said, seemingly calm before angrily clenching his fists. "You're really starting to piss me off!"
Seventeen sent out a ki blast that Towa deflected, though Eighteen managed to fly in and get a kick to her sides, leaving her stunned enough for Seventeen to get a punch across her jaw.
"Not so high and mighty now!" Eighteen said, going for a kick. Towa had vanished out the way last second and blasted Eighteen from behind and then turned to kick Seventeen back.
"Careful with that temper you two possess, it could lead to a few slip-ups," Towa taunted.
"You're one sadistic woman, something tells me you enjoy tormenting others and doing damage both physically and mentally," Eighteen said.
"That's quite the conclusion you've both come to," Towa said.
"Well considering you oh so casually showed Gohan what happened to his grandfather and Planet Vegeta, that seemed like a logical conclusion to come to," Seventeen said. "The conclusion that you relish types of torture."
"Oh come now, I personally believe that I was helping Gohan, after all he deserved to know what happened to his grandfather," Towa said.
"Oh wow, aren't you the helpful little demon," Seventeen said. "You can word it however you want to lady, we see right through your bullshit."
"And by the end of this fight, you'll be nothing but atoms," Eighteen said. "We're going to relish in pulverizing you."
"Now who's relishing in torture?" Towa taunted. "As I would expect from the Androids that destroyed most of the Earth's population."
"Oh you're about to experience destruction first hand!" Eighteen said, flying in with a kick to Towa's chest, knocking her through a building. Eighteen flew after her, sending a flurry of ki blasts at her opponent.
"Save some for me sis!" Seventeen said, flying in and sending some blasts of his own.
Towa gathered up enough energy to deflect some of the blasts back at the two Androids, both holding out some defense against the counterattack.
"This won't be enough!" Seventeen charged up some energy, ready to send it right at Towa. "Super Electric Strike!"
The demonic scientist was hit with the blast, getting knocked away in the process. Eighteen flew in with a double ki blast to Towa's face, knocking her further back against the side of a building.
"She's durable," Eighteen said as Towa pried herself away. "But she can't last much longer."
Towa however wasn't done, charging up some energy and waiting for the siblings to enter the building, she unleashed a big devastating like attack that completely destroyed the structure they were inside, hoping it would finally defeat the two opponents she had some trouble with.
Back with Goku and Mira, the two continued to exchange blows in the skies above, Mira slowly becoming more accustomed to Goku's style of combat.
"You truly are a master of your craft Son Goku," Mira said, parrying Goku's strikes. "Bringing you down will be a pleasure!"
"Never assume victory, that's a warrior's biggest mistake," Goku said. "If you act like the battle's already won, you'll just end up being the biggest fool."
"We'll see who's the fool," Mira said, flying in with another punch, one that Goku managed to block, though as the Saiyan followed up, Mira had side-stepped and kicked Goku through some buildings.
Mira readied a blast and sent it straight at Goku, hoping to completely annihilate him, but Goku used his Instant Transmission to appear beside Mira and delivered a strong punch to the jaw, then flipped into a kick that sent Mira spiraling down.
Goku cupped his hands for another attack, "Take this, KAMEHAME-HA!" He sent the beam down at Mira, though to his surprise, the monster had caught the beam, holding it in place. "No way!"
"This...won't...stop...me!" Mira shouted, tossing the beam aside. Of course it did require some effort and he was almost out of breath but it wasn't anything he couldn't bounce back from.
"You're really strong aren't you?" Goku said. "Still, even you must have your limits."
"Ones you won't live to see!" Mira said, readying his dark energy. "Take this!"
Mira sent a blast at Goku, the Saiyan using his Instant Transmission to appear beside Mira and went for a punch, one the Android blocked as they continued to do battle.
Cabba worriedly stood in wait, not sure how much longer the fight could go on, "This fight could go either way, ugh, we should just step in and end it!"
"You know my grandpa won't like that," Pan said.
"It's for the safety of the timelines though!" Cabba said. "Even Goku must realize that something that big should come before the joy of battle."
"Logic isn't exactly grandpa's strong suit unfortunately," Pan said. "But, if things really get that bad, then of course we'll step in and help."
"I just hope it doesn't end up being that drastic of a situation," Cabba said.
"From what dad says about Goku, I'd say the chances of that are pretty high unfortunately," Bulla chimed in.
Bulma looked worried and confused by what was happening. Of course she knows that even the Goku of her timeline enjoyed fighting, and it seems like that had not changed in his later years, but it also seems like it's becoming a point of weakness for him.
"How often does Goku do stuff like this?" Bulma asked, getting the attention of the two. "How often does he just recklessly fight?"
"A lot, he does things like this almost all the time. I've seen him rush out to fight guys like Super 17 and Omega Shenron, he was even willing to fight General Rildo on his own," Pan said. "The you of my timeline mentioned other times he just willingly threw himself into a fight just to test his own strength."
"I remember how eager he was during the Tournament of Power, wanting to go against Kefla and Jiren, even when the odds were against him," Cabba said.
"I'm not sure if you've learned about any of those guys but just know that they were all really strong at the time," Pan said. "Difference is my grandpa had Super Saiyan 4, and the one Cabba knows has Super Saiyan Blue. This one has neither."
"The Goku of my time has something even better than Blue," Cabba said. "He has Ultra Instinct."
"Oh I think I saw that in the scrolls, he had silver hair, kind of like Mira," Pan said. Suddenly a dreadful thought passed through her head. "You don't think Mira is capable of Ultra Instinct, do you?"
"I really doubt it," Cabba said. "I don't think we have anything to worry about in that regard Pan, but Mira is still strong on his own."
"That's why we should step in!" Came the voice of Caulifla as she flew in with Kale and Gohan. "I'm ready for a fight, especially after eating that bean. Feels like my strength multiplied by the hundreds!
"Looks like you're all better," Bulla said.
"I'm more than better, I'm feeling invincible!" Caulifla said.
"But you're not," Gohan reminded as he flew over. "Don't do anything reckless."
"You ordering me around pipsqueak?" Caulifla asked, almost looking ready for a fight.
"Caulifla, just wait until it's safe to go in!" Cabba ordered. "I know you're itching to fight but you just recovered from a beatdown."
"He got lucky, that's all," Caulifla said.
"No! He overpowered you! If Goku hadn't shown up, we'd probably all be dead!" Cabba said. "You want to fight, fine, just don't rush in there blindly!"
"Kind of weird to hear you say that since you just said you wanted to join the fight as well," Bulla said, earning a glare from Cabba. "Hey just pointing it out."
"I want to collaborate in defeating Mira, not hog up a fight," Cabba said. "We do this smart or we don't do this at all."
Suddenly Goku got knocked to the ground near the group, startling them a bit as Mira descended toward them. He looked a little beat up but he also looked ready for more fighting.
"Screw it, I'm heading in!" Caulifla said, powering into Super Saiyan. "He looks weakened enough, let's destroy the bastard!"
"Caulifla wait!" Cabba urged, just as Caulifla flew in with a punch to Mira's jaw. She threw a few more strikes until Mira grabbed her fist and flung her away.
"Dammit!" Cabba powered up as well and flew at Mira, everyone else following.
Mira blocked a strike from Cabba and knocked him back into Kale and Bulla while Gohan and Pan attempted to double team him. Mira elbowed both in the stomach and crashed their heads together.
"Futile, once I am done here-" Suddenly Goku appeared behind Mira and kicked him aside, sending him flying across the streets.
"That guy really is tough," Goku said, then turned to the others as they gathered together again. "Hey I appreciate the help but maybe you should all sit this out a little bit longer."
"I don't take orders!" Caulifla said.
"Wow you're kind of obnoxious, aren't you?" Goku said.
"Hey screw you! I do whatever the hell I want do to!" Caulifla said. "You're not winning alone so someone like me needs to step in and save your sorry ass!"
"Look I know you're strong but-" Goku noticed someone approaching. "Watch out!" Goku quickly got in front of everyone and deflected an attack.
"Quick one, aren't you?" Towa said, flying over, looking a bit bruised and her clothes torn up.
"Towa?" Gohan looked around for any sign of his other friends. "Wait, where are Seventeen and Eighteen!?"
"Those two were no match for me," Towa said. "I was able to defeat them with no trouble."
"Doesn't look like it, your clothes are so torn up, anymore and you'd be giving the boys a nice view of the good stuff!" Pan said.
"What good stuff?" Goku asked. "Does she have something that we need to be worried about?"
"...Never mind," Pan said, sporting an awkward blush, same with everyone else, except for Caulifla.
"You're one to talk about clothes right now honestly, given your battle damage, it's amazing how most of your clothing is still hanging on," Towa said.
"Can we move on from this," Cabba said, not wanting to be aware of how revealing some of the girls looked, and himself to an extent.
"If you insist on rushing your demise, I'd be happy to oblige," Towa insisted. "Now for the matter of you-"
In seconds, Seventeen and Eighteen appeared behind Towa, kicking her to the ground below.
"Thought you could beat us that easily!?" Seventeen taunted, aiming his palms.
"Let's show this bitch what happens when she messes with us!" Eighteen said, aiming her palms as well.
The two began to rain down ki blasts at Towa, the woman quickly putting up a shield to stop it, "No! I will not lose so easily!"
Just then, Gohan appeared before her in his Super Saiyan 3 form, punching Towa hard in the stomach, knocking her toward Caulifla, who kneed Towa hard in the back.
Kale flew in with a punch to her jaw, and Bulla with a kick. Cabba and Pan finished the combo off with a double ki blast that knocked her across the ground.
"Keep it up!" Gohan said, he and his teammates flying in for more combos. Aside from Goku and obviously Bulma, everyone present started punching and kicking Towa at each possible angle, taking her by surprise and keeping her disoriented.
"Alright! Go get her team!" Bulma cheered.
After Cabba and Pan kicked her into position, Gohan charged up his biggest attack, "Kamehame-HA!"
He sent the beam right at Towa, knocking her back and unintentionally into Mira's arms, the Android looking furious.
"Look who's back up," Caulifla said. "Ready for more? Or are you ready to surrender?"
"You truly are fools," Mira said. "Do you think you will win this eaily?"
"Yeah, kinda," Caulifla said. "Face it, you're no match for us, so why don't you be a good, whatever you are, and give up," Caulifla said.
"She's right, you are in no condition to stop all of us!" Cabba said. "With Goku, Gohan and The Androids now with us, your chances of victory have dwindled, especially with your lowered power."
"We're healthy and stronger, never mess with Saiyans who get stronger with each fight!" Pan said.
"Or Androids with unlimited energy," Eighteen said.
"Perhaps I can't win at my level, but that does not mean I do not have any more tricks up my sleeve," Mira said. Suddenly he and Towa began glowing as Mira started to absorb his creator into his body, much to the confusion of everyone present.
"What the hell is happening?" Caulifla asked.
Within seconds, Mira appeared to take a different form, his hair was much spikier, similar to that of a Super Saiyan with hair covering parts of his now bare torso. Their enemy had achieved his greatest form, Ultimate Mira.
Back at the Time Nest, Chrona began to freak out a bit. "You've gotta be kidding, just when it looked like we had this won!"
"Ahem," came Zangya's voice. "Hate to bother you but it looks like your friend Trunks is getting yelled at by a scroll or something."
"Oh what now!?" Chronoa said as she went to check on that situation.
Kid Pan continued to look on, eager to get in and help however way she can. "I gotta get in there, my family needs me, I have to save them!"
Zangya looked a little impressed by Kid Pan's determination, albeit a foolish one in her eyes. She while she relates to her plight, even she thinks Kid Pan is too young to be of any use here. She'd feel more sympathetic if it wasn't Gohan's life at stake too.
Back in the Dystopian Future, Mira had channeled all his power, ready to unleash it at a moment's notice, much to the concern of the heroes opposing, al of whom were still in a state of shock from the power they beheld.
"Did they fuse?" Cabba asked.
"Seems like it, but why does Mira look like he just achieved Super Saiyan 4?" Pan wondered.
"Probably because of the power Towa stole," Cabba said. "He has Saiyan DNA, among many others after all."
"Guess he really is like Cell then, if he needed to absorb another person to achieve a higher form," Pan said.
Seventeen and Eighteen shuddered a bit, thinking of the time that Cell absorbed them both. Not the most pleasant experience for the two of them.
"Just be ready, his power just skyrocketed," Goku warned.
"He wants to fuse huh? Well he's not the only one who can," Caulifla said. "Isn't that right Kale?"
"Uh, right Caulifla, one problem though," Kale said. "We don't have the Potara Earrings."
"No problem, we'll go and ask that Supreme Kai of Time for hers," Caulifla said. "She'd be willing to give them up for the safety of the multiverse, wouldn't she?"
"You won't have a chance to," Mira said, flying in and punching Caulifla out, faster than any of the heroes could catch. He turned to Kale and grabbed her by the face, lifting her off the ground.
"Hey get away from her you-" Bulla got kicked back when trying to protect Kale, then had the Saiyan woman thrown at her as Mira blasted the two back.
"Crap! Spread out!" Cabba said, everyone flying in different directions. Unfortunately Bulma was all alone and at the mercy of Mira.
"No! Bulma!" Goku teleported to grab her to safety but Mira was too quick and blasted Goku in the face, knocking him away.
"Let's go sis!" Seventeen said as he and Eighteen rushed in and attacked Mira with their synchronized fighting abilities.
"Oh great, now he's stronger!" Gohan said. "What are we suppose to do now!?"
"You're not giving up are you?" Came the voice of Videl, the girl flying nearby with Kid Pan.
"What the!? Where did you two come from!?" Gohan asked.
"Well I was kind of ticked that you left without me, so I yelled until I got that Trunks guy to show up and bring me to the Time Nest," Videl said. "That Chronoa chick saw the trouble you all were having and just as that Mira guy fused, she decided to send me in to help."
"I came to help," Kid Pan said.
Gohan could not believe what he just heard, nothing against the two but they were not the best choice to do battle against Mira. "Alright you two need to go back, you're not suited for this type of battle."
"The hell I'm not," Videl said, powering up. "I'm gonna go and kick some ass!"
"Videl wait!" Gohan pleaded. Too late, as Mira knocked the Androids away, Videl flew in with a kick to his head.
"You're not so tough!" Videl said, then went for another kick, but Mira grabbed her leg and punched her hard in the stomach, knocking the wind out of Videl as he tossed her to the ground, the girl not moving.
"Dammit!" Gohan powered up as high as he can go. "MIRA!"
Mira looked up as Gohan flew right down at him, quickly blocking a punch, but nearly losing his balance in the progress. Gohan and Mira clashed in the skies, the boy determined to bring Mira down.
Cabba and Pan were rounding up their friends into a nearby building for safety as they tried recovering from their quick but painful encounters with Mira. Bulma hid with them, hoping to gather some needed data they could use to bring down their enemy.
"I hate to say it, but he might be way too strong to defeat now," Bulma said. "Do either one of you have a plan on how to stop him?"
"We need strategy," Cabba said. "There has to be something we can exploit. Maybe his fusion has a limit, or it's unstable."
"He did get really strong, really fast, that could make it unstable, hopefully," Pan said.
A huge wind blew at the sound of Gohan delivering a massive punch to Mira, nearly knocking him back again.
"At least Gohan's winning, maybe this won't be so bad," Bulma said.
Cabba shook his head, "It can still go either way." He looked into the skies and saw the other guest that had came along for this journey, feeling very annoyed that she's out here and in potential danger. "I gotta get the other Pan. The rest of you stay here."
"Hey, I can still fight," Caulifla said, trying to stand.
"Stay here and heal dammit!" Cabba shouted, surprising Caulifla. "Fight with your head! Not just with muscle!"
Cabba flew up to help Kid Pan, leaving Caulifla surprised "Wow...he's kind of sexy when he acts all authoritative."
"Hey back off, he's mine," Pan said.
"Heh, so you finally admit it to us," Caulifla sat up, looking up at the girl. "Times like this, you can't afford to hide your feelings." She then turned to Kale, "Isn't that right?"
Kale nodded in agreement, "Right Caulifla."
Pan looked up at Cabba, "Please be careful up there!"
As Gohan and Mira continued to battle, Cabba flew right beside Kid Pan, the boy looking concerned yet still unhappy, "Pan, how and why did you come here?"
"Supreme Kai of Time let me, I wanted to help because I was worried," Kid Pan said.
"That's understandable but you need to go back to The Time Nest, call The Supreme Kai of Time to take you back," Cabba said.
"But if I don't help, how will you come back alive?" Kid Pan asked. "I don't want to sit back and lose another family, I have to help!"
"Pan, you're strong, but part of training and being a warrior is understanding where and when to fight, and knowing your limits," Cabba said.
"Grandpa says limits are meant to be surpassed," Kid Pan said.
Cabba wanted to argue that, but he wasn't sure how. Surpassing limits it's in a Saiyan's blood, it's what drives them to be better. "Pan, I know you want to-"
"Watch out!" Gohan called, but too late, Mira's sneak attack blast knocked Cabba out of the air. "No Cab-"
This distraction allowed Mira to hit Gohan from behind with a chop, knocking him to the ground below and back to his base form.
"Fool," Mira said, aiming his palm. "I'll destroy you first."
"Daddy!" Kid Pan shouted, flying in to kick Mira in the face, barely phasing the villain.
"Out of the way!" Mira said, whacking Kid Pan aside. "Pest."
"Oh you bastard!" Older Pan shouted, flying in and punching Mira, knocking him back a little. "I'll teach you to hurt my precious little self!"
As she attacked more, Mira had blocked and elbowed her in the stomach, knocking the wind out of Pan and kicking her back. Cabba flew in to attack again, but Mira elbowed him in the face.
"Big me! Cabba!" Kid Pan shouted in worry, feeling frustrated. "You bully! Stop hurting my family!"
"Begone, you're too weak to be of any threat," Mira said, using some non-lethal ki to blast Kid Pan back.
"Shit! Little Pan!" Videl called, trying to stand back up.
"Don't go back out there!" Bulma called out.
"But...she needs me!" Videl said. "She needs us!"
Mira went to focus again on Cabba and Pan, the two attempting to sneak attack Mira, but he had grabbed them both by the face and began squeezing, attempting to crush their skulls.
"You two will die first!" Mira shouted, slamming their heads together and knocking them down toward Gohan. He charged more energy, ready to aim down.
"Gohan!" Goku shouted from where he was. Knowing the others would try to attack, Mira sent out a flurry of ki blasts where everyone was hiding, keeping them at bay.
"I will deal with you all later!" Mira said, focusing back on Cabba, Pan and Gohan. "After I dispose of these three nuisances!"
Kid Pan looked worried, her family was in danger and she felt too weak and helpless to stop Mira. Her frustration began to boil as rage consumed her. "Don't you...hurt them...!" Suddenly a weird feeling emanated in her back as she started to power up. Kid Pan let out a massive shout that got even Mira's attention, the girl now glowing a golden color as she glared at her enemy. "TAKE THIS!"
The now Super Saiyan Kid Pan flew in with a massive headbutt into Mira's back, stunning him a moment, allowing her to flip up and then kick Mira across the face.
"KAMEHAME-HA!" Kid Pan blasted Mira in the chest, trying to push him back. Despite her increased power and early advantage, this still was not enough and Mira powered through her beam and kicked Pan in the stomach, knocking her across the air.
"I've had enough of you!" Mira shouted, readying an attack. "Now-"
Gohan teleported beside Mira and punched him hard in the face, taking him by surprise. He went for a kick that knocked Mira back, but it hardly phased him. "Persistent jerk this guy is."
Mira tried for another punch but Gohan ducked out the way, powering up for another blow to his stomach. At this point, Kid Pan used a Kamehameha to send herself reeling back and allowed for some big momentum behind another punch.
Pan and Cabba both stood back up, shaking off some cobwebs. They were hurt but not that hurt, they had a little more power in them than Mira expected.
"Cabba," Pan said, getting his attention. "You think we can win?"
Feeling unusually confident, Cabba nodded his head, "Yes, I think we can win."
"Good, I feel the same way," Pan said. "I feel like I can do anything with you by my side. I always want you by my side Cabba, because..."
"You love me," Cabba said.
Pan felt a little embarrassed, "I know it's hard to be with someone from another timeline, and I know you think I'm a kid, or that I'm not mature enough but...well, the thing is-"
"Pan, look at me," Cabba said. The moment Pan turned her attention, instead of talking, the boy locked the girl in a kiss, taking her by surprise. If it weren't for some of the aches she felt from her battle, she would think she were dreaming. Cabba, the boy of her fantasies, had her in a kiss, and she enjoyed every second of it. Cabba broke away, gently stroking Pan's face. "I love you too."
Pan was understandably enlightened with joy, and while she wanted to explore this newfound love some more, the two still had a job to finish. "After we beat Mira, you're taking me on a date."
"Of course," Cabba said, focusing his attention toward the Android. "Let's end this."
Pan and Cabba flew up, channeling every bit of strength they could, ready to deal the final blow against Mira. The monster was still fighting Gohan and Kid Pan, the two double teaming the Ultimate being. However he eventually knocked them out the way, ready to destroy them when he noticed some more power at the far end of the opposition.
"Galick..." Cabba said, charging his ki.
"Kamehame..." Pan said, doing the same.
Mira did something similar, taking a familiar position, "Ka...me...ha...me..."
"Copycat," Pan said, then turned to Cabba, "You ready for this?"
"Sure am," Cabba said. "Let's do this!"
"HA!" Mira shouted, firing the Turtle School attack.
"CANNON/HA!" Both Cabba and Pan fired, their pink and blue beam swirling together alongside each other as they clashed against Mira's blue beam surrounded by demonic energy.
Mira pushed hard, expecting to completely overpower the duo. "It's hopeless, you cannot defeat me! You are not strong enough!"
"Keep telling yourself that! Won't be long before we completely annihilate you ya big jerk!" Pan shouted.
Cabba pushed harder, hoping to fully overwhelm Mira with his power, "Keep going Pan! We got this!"
"Hell yeah we do!" Pan said, putting more energy into her attack.
Mira felt like he was struggling, but he had a bit more power at his disposal. "I won't lose to the likes of you! You can't defeat me alone!"
"They're not alone!" Goku said, appearing behind Mira, everyone else lined up as well. "They have their friends and family!"
"Futile! None of you can overpower me! It's a waste of effort!" Mira shouted.
"Let's just kill this guy," Caulifla said, firing her attack. "Crush Cannon!"
"Hawk Charge!" Videl shouted, sending her own Ki Blast.
"Kamehame-HA!" Kid Pan sent her own wave.
"Masenko!" Gohan shouted, firing his original ki blast.
"Take this!" Kale fired a ki blast as well.
"Take him Seventeen!" Eighteen said, reading her palms.
"With pleasure sis," Seventeen said, sending out blasts alongside his sister.
Bulla placed her hands together for another of her father's attacks, "Final Flash!"
Goku charged his own attack, but this one was a little different, "I don't have all the power I'd like, but it should be enough to do some damage!" Goku readied a Spirit Bomb attack, using what little life energy remained on the planet. "Take this!"
Goku sent the attack at Mira, which combined with the other attacks, began to stun Mira.
"Quick, clear out!" Cabba warned. In the last second, both Cabba and Pan sent out one final push that completely overwhelmed Mira's attack, completely overwhelming him.
"I...lost..." Mira said, feeling a sense of dread, but oddly satisfied. "At least it was a good fight. Thank you Towa, for being there with me to the end..."
The beam overtook the lands, leaving destruction behind it. The battle was finally over, Mira and Towa had been completely defeated.
"YES!" Bulma cheered from her location. "Yes you did it! You all did it! YES! Oh what a win!"
Pan and Cabba powered down, the two dropping to the ground below, finally ready to take a rest.
"Looks like we finally accomplished our goals," Cabba said.
"Yeah, lucky us," Pan said, resting against Cabba. "Thanks to our friends and family."
Cabba wrapped his arm around Pan, content to be able to hold her close to him with no immediate danger. "That took a lot out of me."
"Hey, you two alright?" Gohan asked. "I have two more sensu beans, do you need them?"
"I'm good, I think we just need to get back to the time nest," Cabba said. "I kind of need a break from all this fighting."
"Same here," Pan said.
"Pfft, wusses," Caulifla said, earning herself a glare from everyone nearby. "Kidding, they did great, so they've earned a rest."
"Everyone did great, especially you little Pan," Bulla said, getting the girl's attention. "You finally went Super Saiyan."
"Thanks," Kid Pan bashfully said.
"Oh yeah, great work," Caulifla said, rubbing the young girl's head. "Maybe you can actually beat me in a fight now."
"Oh I will," Kid Pan stated, feeling confident, getting a laugh from Caulifla.
"I love this girl so much," Caulifla said. "Come on, let's get back."
Chronoa herself looked to be at ease with this win, finally that's one big major headache permanently dealt with. "Glad that's over, man what a journey. Almost fitting that a creature similar to Cell would be destroyed in a similar manner. Though instead of a Father-Son Kamehameha, we got a lovers' Galick Wave. At least that's what I'm calling it." Chronoa stood up off the chair. "I guess a celebration is owed, a much deserved one for Pan, Cabba and all their friends."
The battle was finally over, Mira and Towa had been defeated. The Demon Realm still remained however, and there was no telling when it would strike again. But for now, the heroes will relish in their hard fought victory.
The epilogue is near, up next is the final chapter of the Xenoverse saga.
