Raven introduces herself to everyone else as Lindsay Moon. Yes Moon, as in Luna. "I might as well follow the trend,"she reasons with a shrug when Elyza stares at her incredulously.

It takes her about three seconds to declare the time machine a lost cause after she finally hobbles up the stairs after Elyza's lead to the rooftop. Raven grimaces at the parts, kicking them half-heartedly with her good leg.

"Why are you here?" Elyza asks from behind her, although she is scared of the answer. She doesn't want to know, because if the answer is something that demands she returns, she will have to choose between Alicia and helping the friends she still loves.

The only sound is the wind for a while. Raven doesn't turn around, nor move her eyes from staring at the wreckage on the ground. "I wanted to know if you could really see them again."

Raven turns around slowly and looks at Elyza and she knows. She knows who she means. All the people they lost. It was an odd thought because Elyza had been so caught up she had never even thought of a possibility that their souls could exist in this place as well if Alicia existed here. Elyza's eyes drift out over the wall of the roof. Could they be out there? "If they are I haven't seen them."

Her eyes come back to Raven, who's resolute attitude never changes. She lifts her chin and juts it out. "So you haven't even looked."

Guilt floods Elyza, guilt that makes Elyza angry because she shouldn't need to apologize for finding the one thing she came here for. Freedom from her past and grief. From the confines of the life that was Clarke Griffin.

Perhaps Elyza doesn't hide her anger nearly well enough because Raven's face softens and she shoves her hands into the back pockets of her jeans. "Sorry. I know it's not why you came here. I just thought and hoped that maybe everything would be different here."

Elyza manages a grim smile, "It's not that bad. Fighting zombies is better than choosing live people to sacrifice and killing your own friends."

Raven snorts as she starts walking back towards the stairs. "Not that bad huh? There better at least be alcohol."

With that, she throws herself into helping the refugees that were suddenly swarming to the hotel after Madison's incident. Between the spanish that Lindsay knew (she had learned in an attempt to connect with her Mom on the ark to no avail), and Elyza's medical expertise, they were put in charge of patients.

"Hey, it's commander-heart-eyes gracing us with her presence", Lindsay quips when Alicia walks in during their lunch break. Lindsay seems to be intent on teasing Alicia whenever she comes around.

Alicia blushes and rolls her eyes. "Her presence is my life's joy," Elyza replies beezily, threading her hand into Alicia's, giving it a tug so that Alicia falls into her lap. She plays up to the teasing and nuzzles her nose into Alicia's neck, breathing in Alicia's presence. Never in her life had she gotten to show off her love life unabashedly.

Alicia leans into Elyza and giggles at the attention she's receiving. Still, she complains as she wraps her arms around Elyza's neck and looks into her eyes. "You've been so busy you've avoided me all day and still I could practically feel you mooning at me, Lex."

Resisting Alicia is like trying to resist the winds of a tornado. Elyza smirks, "What can I say, hon'? I couldn't resist the view." It is all too true. Alicia is absolutely irresistible and Elyza had no trouble letting her know that.

In the background, she can see Lindsay pretending to gag.

"Next time, just say 'hi' and ask me on a date", Alicia retorts, as if they weren't working their butts off daily to keep this hotel going. It wasn't like there was a movie theater that Elyza could take Alicia to.

The idea of a proper date itself makes Elyza want to prance on clouds (perhaps cloud nine). "Hi! Wanna go on a date?"

"You're terrible", Alicia grumbles, slapping Elyza lightly in the shoulder. It's true Elyza wasn't the most romantic person on Earth. It wasn't like she'd gotten much practice. She also knew Alicia didn't mind by how she failed to suppress her grin.

Elyza's heart flies in her chest. She wants to take this beautiful girl on a proper date. Even if she has to fight through hordes of walkers, or get through all of the patients that have flooded to the hotel. Elyza promises herself that someday she will take Alicia out on a date and woo her with romantics. "I'll take that as a yes", Elyza answers, pushing a loose strand of Alicia's silky brown locks behind her ear.

That was when Hector ran in, gasping for breath. "Travis- Travis went crazy. Oscar-"

Just like that, Elyza finds herself thrown in the storage room of the military base with Travis and Lindsay. She lands with a grunt and struggles to sit up with her hands bound behind her. She lets herself remember the panic in Alicia's eyes as they get separated, struggling against the soldiers wildly until Elyza mouthed, "It's okay. I'll find you." She will, Elyza assures herself before letting her eyes fly open and observe the situation around them.

She watches as Travis crawls over to a familiar ratty haired boy, huddled next to a hispanic woman. Nick Clark. The person who they were looking for in the first place. Elyza has to bite down the anger. Why was Nick so important that now Alicia was now in danger? Elyza swore to herself that she'd cleave through all of these people and rescue Alicia like a knight in shining armor just to see her blush.

Lindsay was oddly silent and subdued. Her eyes were opened wide, glued on a figure situated against the shelves. Elyza follows her gaze and can't help but slip out a, "Holy shit." It's the same woman, perhaps skinnier from lack of food, less poofy and curly hair, and a much more perfected glare, but the same exact face nonetheless.

"Luna", Lindsay breathes out as if not daring to hope. She shows a vulnerability Elyza hasn't seen within the woman in a long, long time. Raven had always been like that, a survivor of the highest order.

Elyza is familiar with the feeling of vulnerability. Not long ago she felt it herself. She would wonder day and night how such a coincidence could exist. It tormented her. Now she can only hope Alicia is okay.

The Luna look-alike glances down at the asian woman laying against her to make sure she hasn't been disturbed before returning her eyes upward with a glare. "Magna. I am Magna, not Luna", she hisses.

Within Raven's eyes something shatters as if the hope she had held onto has just left her. Magna's eyes soften a little and she looks away. Her hand affectionately plays with a strand of the asian woman's hair as she murmurs, "How'd you end up in this shithole too, Raven?"

Elyza watches Lindsay let those words wash over her and instinctively puts a protective arm around Lindsay. "Lindsay. It's Lindsay here", she finally replies.

Magna nods and lets her head tilt back to rest against the shelves. They do not talk again until the soldiers come in and start dragging away a man in a blazer with scraggly hair and a beard. "Luke! Let him go!"

Another pair of soldiers grab Travis.

Alicia watches her mother pace around, frustrated and panicked. She takes another deep breath in. She might not trust Troy, but there's no use wasting her energy no matter how frustrated she is that she isn't with Elyza. She just needs an opportunity to get out and find her.

She studies the cup of water she was provided and glances at the poor plant in the corner. She never got the chance to grow plants. As Lexa she was always too busy with her wars and bloodshed. As Alicia she was always too busy with school and trying to raise herself. Plus there's a possibility that the water is poisoned. Alicia starts to water the plant with it. No shriveling up and dying so far. "He's going to kill us."

"No, no", her mother replies, breathing hard from the exertion of whatever she is doing with the chair. Probably not something that would be of much use to them against guns. Her mother is always in denial. "He won't. He seems to like us."

"It can't be that simple", Alicia replies with a roll of her eyes. She certainly wanted to get out of here too but she wasn't that naive.

As the chair refuses to cooperate, Madison starts cursing. "Mom." She doesn't listen. "Mom", Alicia says once more, a little more insistently. Madison finally looks up at Alicia's outstretched hand, offering her the butterfly knife.

Alicia didn't like giving up a weapon, but with Lexa's training in her head, she would probably fare a little better weaponless than Madison. She wishes she could believe it when Madison promises that they will get out of there, that it will be Madison who has to do the killing and not her.

It takes two hours for both Luke and Travis to turn. Nick puts up a fight for Travis, but quickly relents when Luciana (the woman who was huddled into him) is threatened. He looks more tired of the world than usual. It is enough time for them to plan their escape. Elyza is just another minute away from freeing herself from the bindings on her wrists, but then they go for the asian girl in Magna's lap.

Suddenly there is a sharp object with a chain attached protruding from the soldier's eyeball. The rest of the soldiers cry in alert and run forward, but Lindsay sticks out her good leg to trip the man into the showers where the former Luke and Travis immediately start tearing into him with sickening sounds. Another soldier comes racing in and Elyza struggles to her feet, to intercept him. He stops, sizing her up. Elyza takes that moment to slam her head into his so that he clutches his head and then brings her foot up to his crotch as hard as she possibly can. There is a satisfying crunch and he collapses, crying out in pain. Good thing she picked up a pair of steel toed boots.

Magna comes up to her, slicing through her ziptie with a belt buckle. Elyza nods a thank you before they take off across the compound. They sprint as fast as they can, but with Lindsay, the asian woman, and Luciana slowing them down, it is practically impossible to keep ahead of the trained militia. By the time they reach the grate to the sewer pipe, it is obvious that not all of them are going to make it.

Nick and Luciana go down first, and then the two darker skinned girls who have signed the entire time, but even as Magna supports the asian girl, she turns around with concern in her eyes. It is strikingly reminiscent of the Luna who cried over the death of her clan. "They'll get you two", she hisses.

Elyza is tempted to tease that Magna seems to care, but Lindsay interrupts her with a shake of her head. "We've got it", Lindsay says, her mouth set with cocky confidence befitting of the person who held the title "youngest zero-g mechanic".

Magna frowns even further, but when the girl in her arms groans in pain, she disappears down the ladder too. Elyza slides the grate back over the pipe and stands up next to Lindsay. "So what's the plan, o-great-one?"

Lindsay shrugs, "Don't have one, but it made her go, didn't it?"

She is right, but stupid. Not that Elyza wouldn't have done the same exact thing if it had been Alicia.
