Summary:

Ohdo Yuga likes watching Sogetsu Gakuto run.

Yuga liked watching Gakuto run.

Though you couldn't pay Yuga to participate in track and field of his own accord (he'd take his Duel Bicycle, thanks!), he had no argument against observing others do it. Tell him it was the Student Council President, and you'd find Yuga in the stands, recording diligent mental notes.

You couldn't pay Yuga to do much of anything, as Atachi Mimi could confirm. Leave him to his own devices, and he'd be more prone to fork over or promise whatever it was you were after for free.

His notebook containing the secrets of Rush Duels.

A high-performance drum robot.

Yuga still wouldn't run.

Gakuto was no Olympian, but his needle-like focus on doing it all, on being the one man standing between the school and utter chaos, had the power to open Yuga's eyes to a whole extra road of possibility. When Gakuto ran, Yuga thought he was in the audience of a traditional Japanese play. There was something artful and fluid about Gakuto's strides. The way they flowed as water or the wind flowed. The minute delays separating each, rushes of celestial fire.

Like Gakuto was slicing the unknown ahead of him. Lighting up the dark.

Like he was carving a road and moving forward!

Sogetsu-style transcended Duels.

While Luke scorned the sight of gears and cogs (except those on his shirt, apparently), Yuga derived solace and a charge from seeing universal systems in action.

Speed, velocity, pressure, propulsion, rotation, drag, structure.

They came to a harmonious fusion in Gakuto.

And. He. Was. Soaring!
