Hello, this is just a character sheet for a story in the works. Yes, it's an OC character but it will not be an extreme character. He won't be some Gary Stu, but he will have in-canon abilities. I know it's late, but I want to say that the adventure series end up ruining itself. To list off something's that I hated let's talk about Homeostasis.
It is a being that has caused more issues than it tried to solve. It brought children into a war they had no place being in. Children are the least qualified to handle these types of situations. Heck, they weren't even given a choice to come to the digital world. Made the system in which partners are separated once the human reaches a set potential limit. The Digimon adventure's last evolution Kizuna was a result of this system. In other Digimon series, we know there were no age limits when it comes to Digimon partners. This led me to believe that Homeostasis just wants cooperative pawns so it "chose" children as they are more gullible than adults for the most part.
Gives a potentially dangerous Digimon containing a virus that can ruin the digital world to a little girl instead of terminating it. Yes I know giving a person a chance to live isn't wrong, but Homeostasis did nothing to fix that virus. Some could argue Meiko was its solution but that is just playing devil's advocate. It reboots the digital world and amounted to nothing except scaring the DigiDestined. It gets away with everything and becomes the new ruler of the digital world. Homeostasis pushed problems onto humans for the sake of its so-called balance.
Then there are a bunch of other things like the death of Imperialdramon, stupid lines, and a ton of sitting around. Heck, even the plot of a virus turning Digimon from binary to ternary was ripped off of the tempest virus from the Digimon twin line. The biggest gripe for me was when they made Alphamon and Drasil evil at the end which is overused. Alphamon was always said to be the Digimon that protects the digital world when the situation was dire. In the first movie, it looked like he was trying to stop the virus at its source and didn't bother hurting the chosen's Digimon more than necessary, even though it could destroy them for getting in its way it didn't. Sure it was willing to kill Meiko and I am not saying it was alright, but consider that everything was on the line and so something deeds were worth doing. It knew that Meicoomon would be permanently dead in the human world and was willing to kill Meiko as well if it meant the digital world was safe. But then the stupid plot twist made no sense contextually speaking.
Now onto the host computer, itself. Yes while king Drasil was known to be an extremist in most cases however all of those cases were justified. Humans in Savers invade the digital world multiple times destroying Digimon permanently and put both worlds on the verge of destruction, it's no wonder he stopped trusting humans. While Kurata was manipulating everyone that doesn't change what the soldiers that followed him didn't so much as question any of their actions. Then there were the Gizumon who was a Frankenstein Digimon, would you trust a species that creates monsters from human corpses? One thing to say against Drasil however there were evil Digimon like Belphemon and the seven demon lords with legions of followers who did similar things.
Then in X Evolution, the entire digital world reached max capacity and he had to make the difficult choice of letting everyone die or save what he could. Then he purposely makes things more difficult for himself making his knights turn against him in an act of penance. How else would you explain the self-sabotage of letting Dorumon go instead of terminating him and not speaking a single word to his knights for the entire movie? He wanted the digital world to thrive and knew he was unfit to do so. So he set up his destruction for the ultimate reboot restoring the Digimon that he destroyed.
This story is meant to fix most of these issues. However, I still need a place to start. So while the story is in the works please look over this profile and tell me if it comes across as too Gary Stu. Comments help me construct my stories faster so don't hesitate to reply.
