Jane caught Joe's eye and flashed him a brief smile before they got back to work on securing the crime scene. When it was time to pack up and head back to the lab, she pulled him aside and kissed him right up against the wall. "How unprofessional," he teased before diving in to kiss her once more.
"I'll give you unprofessional," she grumbled as they continued to make out. She hated it when her team pulled this shit but she wanted to take some time to herself for once.
"Oh my God, my eyes. Find a more private place next time." They both jumped apart at the sound of Kai's voice.
Jane sighed. "Can I give you something to keep quiet?" she tried.
He squinted his eyes in amusement. "Are you trying to bribe me? Amazing. But no, I'll stay quiet so you don't have to worry about anything." Kai sighed and walked away to return to the van.
"You want to do this again?" Joe shrugged and huffed out a laugh when Jane glared at him. "Love you, Jane."
"Yeah, I love you too, Joe." She waved at him over her shoulder as they went their separate ways.
