Hey everyone I'm so happy you guys are liking the story. This chapter will be about Phineas's point of view. Hope you guys enjoy ;)
Phineas POV
I dropped the pencil I was holding in shock. My eyes were huge, I just had watched my best friend get sucked into a mysterious portal that I didn't even know was in my backyard. I was just staring at the darn thing and for the first time, I was speechless. My throat was still stinging after screaming to her. Why didn't I try to save her? Would it have mattered if I had? Was it too late? I turned to my stepbrother, "F-F-Ferb?" He glanced over at me with the same startled look on this face that I had on mine. I sighed,
"So I didn't imagine it then." My shoulders slumped as he shook his head. I turned towards swirling vortex again then turned back to Ferb.
"Where do you think it leads to?" I was shocked at how soft my voice was. Ferb gave me compassionate look, but shrugged. A loud screeching noise filled the air. I turned to the portal again, the entire thing was shaking! The screeching noise started becoming louder. I clapped my hands onto my ears. Ferb grabbed me and pulled me over into house. I watched in horror as the portal burst into flames. Then the entire thing shot up into the sky and exploded. My eyes became huge again, what in the world? Then I realized that we now don't have a way to get to Isabella. So doing the only reasonable thing in this situation my knees buckled and I fell backwards. I just wanted to lay there forever but I knew that wouldn't help find Isabella. So I sat up and watched as the rubble from the explosion fell down from sky. I hung my head as any hope that I had about finding her crumbled. A hand fell in front of my face, I looked up and saw Ferb reaching his arm down to help me up. I gladly took it and stood up.
"You're right Ferb we have to stay focused, Isabella is our friend and we have to get her back from wherever that portal went." He gave me a thumbs up, I smiled.
"Ferb I know what we're gonna do today!" With that I ran off to round up the troops. We have a lot of work to do.
I ran to Baljeet's house, so I was completely out of breath by the time I got there. I stepped up to the porch and rang the doorbell. I stepped back and waited impatiently. I was kinda in a hurry. The Indian boy answered the door with a smile. Buford was right behind him.
"Hey Dinnerbell wha—"
"No time guys! Isabella has been sucked into a mysterious portal and the entire thing just exploded!" I was talking pretty fast and I it didn't help that I was out of breath from running. But I knew they understood me because their eyes got huge. Baljeet was the first one to break the silence,
"You do realize this is gonna be an almost impossible rescue mission." I flashed him a smile,
"Almost is the key word there, if we can save Candace we can save Isabella! So what do you guys say?" They looked at each other and grinned.
"You're insane Dinnerbell, but let's go rescue girly." I smiled as we headed back to the backyard. If we are gonna make this work we need one more person to help us. As the group started on the project I headed up to a certain teenagers room. As much as I know she'll hate it I know it doesn't matter. If we are going to save Isabella we need Candace's help. I took a deep breath as I knocked on her door. Whelp, here goes nothing.
