Chapter 2: Revival of Lost Souls

In the royal laboratory, the Hueman parents are creating their life resurrection formula with Alphys helping. The rest of the Monsters, the Hueman Sisters, and the Six Souls are watching from the sidelines.

"That is a lot of ingredients for this elixir," said Ralsei.

"Trust us, everyone. It took us four years straight to get it right, and it was all after me, and the Mrs. got married," said Charles Hueman.

"Was it possible to find the right things for your formula back at the Surface, Dad?" Kris asks.

"Sure thing, Krissy. But for it to work, we need the souls or personal remains to make it happen."

"Good thing, we still have our souls," said Grizelda.

"Is there some catch to this? There's always a catch," said Andy.

"That depends? Are you children planning to go back to the Surface?" Kristina Hueman asks.

"Well, yes. My family must be worried about me," said Honora.

"Same here. I have a dream to reach when I get back home," said Shihobu.

"Alright. Children, promise us you'll never mention our residence in the Underground. We still need to protect our research and our family from Gaster and other governmental officials," said Charles.

"We will if you let us come visit you and the rest of Monsters all the time. I love my friends and these people so much," said Dayakar, stares at Frisk.

"I agree. I don't want to leave anyone behind," said Billie, looks at Frisk.

But after Grizelda and Honora grabbed them by their ears to make them stop, Kristina said, "Alright. Just never mentioned anything about the Underground and us. And if they ask you where you all were, tell them you got lost in the forests."

"Okay," said the Six Souls.

"Are you almost done?" Susie asks.

"Yes. All we need to do now is to put one drop of it on the soul. So, who wants to go first?" said Charles, holding a beaker with rainbow liquid and sparkles.

"I'll go. Just remember to watch me, Shihobu," Andy winked.

"Whatever, Cider," she rolled her eyes.

When Andy presents his orange soul, Alphys says, "Gently…Gently…"

Once Charles puts one drop on Andy's soul, light surrounds him before he appears back into his human form.

"It worked! It worked! I can breathe and smell again," said Andy, happily hugging Frisk.

"I can't believe it really worked! Yes!" Charles said joyfully.

"Well, now that's done. Who's next?" Kristina said with a smile.

The rest of the Six Souls and Asriel begin to say, "Me! I want to go next! Please, choose me!"

Meanwhile, back with Gaster and his spy men, they are still in the elevator as they go down very slowly.

"How long is this going to take?!" Gaster shouted.

When the elevator dings and the door is open, they find themselves in the Ruins, and Gaster says, "Oh, okay? Let's get those Huemans!"

Gaster leads his men, but he stops and says, "Wait, which way are we going?!"

His men felt nervous before he shouted, "You incompetent boneheads don't know where they are?!"

"We don't have a map of the Underground, sir," said an agent.

"Oh, great! How will we find them if we don't know where they are in it and our location? We can get lost here easily!"

"Sir, there's a house over there."

When they spot the abandoned Toriel's house, they kick the door down and say, "Halt! Nobody move! Put your hands up!"

But they stop when they find the place trashed and untouched.

"Looks like nobody's home. And it feels like no one hasn't used this house in years," said Gaster.

"Sir, look at this," said an agent, who spots a map of the entire Underground, hanging on the wall like a tapestry.

"Excellent. Start taking pictures of it. I will not rest until I get what I want from the Huemans."

"But sire, who knows where they could be in the Underground. We're going to have to go to every place in the Underground to find them."

"Again, patience is never my virtue."

Back with the Huemans, the Monsters, and the now Six Humans, the Six Humans were overjoyed to feel alive again while Charles put a drop of his formula on Asriel's soul and turned back to normal.

"Asriel, my boy," said Asgore, hugging his son.

"I can finally hug you for real this time," said Toriel, joining in the hug.

"Prof Charles and Dr. Kristina, thank you so much for bringing the prince of the Monsters back to life," said Papyrus.

"Yes, indeed. Now, the bloodline of Asgore can carry. Not that I'm saying that the Hueman Sisters aren't capable of leading on the legacy," said Undyne.

"Being a ruler sounds like hard work. So I'll pass on ruling the Monsters as their leader," said Chara.

"I already have big dreams, so I'll pass on that too," said Frisk.

"Same here. I like to do a hard pass," said Kris.

"Heh, you Hueman girls are quite the honest types," said Sans.

"Was that suppose to be a joke, Sans?" Mew Mew asks.

"To be honest, I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be."

"Well, I'm glad it wasn't. Your jokes were always bland and lacking," Flowey said.

"Well, Flowey, your honesty isn't "floraing" like what you are."

"Again, your jokes are bland and lacking…."

"Now, now. With all of our soulless friends are revive, we should celebrate with lunch," said Frisk.

"Good idea, sister. I'm starving," said Chara with a smile.

As everyone exits the laboratory, Professor Hueman paused at his tracks in shock.

"Dad, you okay?" Kris asks.

"Yes, I'm fine, Krissy. I just had a strange feeling about something bad afoot."

"I'm sure it's another migraine, honey. Let's go," said Kristina.

"Okay, sweetheart."
