Chapter 5: The End of the Barrier

When the glowing stopped, everyone looked at where the Huemans and Gaster were. They find the Huemans surrounded by a green forcefield and Gaster on his knees in paralyze.

"Whew, that was close. Good save, girls," said Charles.

"Thank you, Dad," said the Hueman Sisters.

"Wow, you Huemans sure know how to show your "bright" ideas. Hehehehehe," said Sans.

"Tee-hee. Good one, Sans," Mew-Mew smiled.

"Oh, brother," said Papyrus and Undyne annoyed.

When opening the tank of the Mana Confiscator, Kristina takes out the Soul of Lancer's mother and puts it in a jar.

While handing the jarred Monster Soul to Lancer, she then said, "Here you are, Prince of Spades. Your mother's soul is yours, and we will bring her back soon."

"Alright, Mrs. Hueman. I'm glad to hold my Mom again," said Lancer, holding his Mother's Soul close to his heart.

"How cool, Lancer. How cool," said Susie, high-fives him.

But then everyone turned to Gaster twitches his head and screams in pain. He calls even louder when he glitchy turns from a human to his standard Undertale form, Monster.

"Is the Mana Confiscator suppose to do that, Mom and Dad?" said Frisk.

"Don't think so. The Monster Soul must've taken some of his Human essence due to his lack of balance and care between his soul and the Monster soul. With Human within him, he now permanently a Monster," said Charles.

When Gaster notices his Monster appearance, he angrily shouts, "You turned me to a Monster?! I will destroy you, Charles and Kristina."

But then the Skeleton Brothers pounced on him and handcuffed him from behind.

Then the monsters point their weapons at him and his handcuffed men while Asgore said, "Gaston Gastermen, you're under arrest. Take him and his men away, boys."

As the guards made Gaster and his men stand up and take them away to the dungeon, Gaster shouted, "I'll get you, Huemans, and your Human and Monster friends too! You haven't seen the last of Gaster!"

"Yeah, right. Now that he's gone, it's time to get rid of the Barrier so the Six Humans here can go home," said Chara.

"Yeah, we're going home. Hooray. My family is waiting. I can finally see the sun again. It's going to be a long story to tell the fam. I'll sleep in my bed again," said the Six Humans, happily.

After a few minutes, everyone is seen at the Barrier.

"You ready, Mom and Dad," Kris asks.

"Yes, Kris," her parents respond.

"Okay, everyone. Stand back," said Toriel.

"This is going to be good," said Flowey, takes out a bag of popcorn and eats him.

"Nice for you bringing popcorn with you, Flowey. I brought some too," said Asriel, taking out his and began to eat some.

Once Prof. and Dr. Hueman fire at the Barrier, everything begins to shake crazy. Even the entire Underground is starting to shake, which leaves the inhabitants confused and concerned.

"Wow, things are shaking up. And I mean it seriously," said Sans, trying to keep balance.

Dayakar quickly uses his magic to create a forcefield when he gets near her when some of the ceilings are about to fall on top of Grizelda.

"Are you alright, Grizelda?" Dayakar said in concern.

"I'm fine, Dayakar. Thank you so much," Grizelda blushed.

"Oh. I want to save Shihobu and be her hero," said Andy, proudly.

But Shihobu pulls Andy close to her to avoid him getting hurt by a falling ceiling.

"Too bad, Cider. I became your hero," said Shihobu.

"Then I should reward my hero with a kiss," said Andy, teasingly and puckering his lips.

But Shihobu hits him hard on the head with her notebook in flustered, before he says, "I was only joking. Can't you take a chuckle?"

Honora and Billie stayed closed together while Honora said while using her blue magic to prevent any falling ceilings on anyone, and Billie shot them into bits, "How long will this take?"

"Who knows? But we need to protect everyone," said Billie.

"I think our invention is taking too much magic at once," said Kristina.

And once the Barrier disappears, the tank of the Mana Confiscator gets so full of magic that it's Kris's size.

"Oh, boy. That's a lot of magic, but it was worth it. The Barrier is gone," said Charles.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye. I hope we'll see each other again," said Frisk, hugging the Six Humans.

"Don't worry. We'll see each other soon," said Grizelda, leads the Six Humans the way.

"Goodbye," the Six Humans said and waving before they went down the mountain to the city.

"Now that the Barrier is gone, the Monsters are free, and Gaster is no more in control with our workplace. Now what?" Charles said.

"Who knows? But we'll find out soon." Chara respond.

After a few weeks pass, the Monsters create a hidden village near the Huemans' old house, which they move back in. The Six Humans reunited with their families and begin to visit the Monsters and Huemans daily. The Underground is now a place for Monsters who aren't ready to co-exist with Humans yet and prepare themselves for their time to live with them. Just then, the Hueman Sisters came running out of their house with joy. They soon reach the Monsters' hidden village to find their Monster friends and the Six Humans already there.

When they spotted them, they said, "Hi, Hueman Sisters."

"Hi, everyone," they respond before going to them.

At the dungeons, the King of Spade's prison is next door to Gaster and his men.

"I thought I recognized you! I swear when I get out of here, I will rip you and your men into bits for killing my wife," said the King in rage.

"Whatever. I want to get out of here to get back at the Huemans," said Gaster.

Then a pair of eyes is seen in the shadows and said, "I say? You men want to bring chaos to those who live under the Light, do you?"

Both antagonists were curious before Gaster then said, "Who are you?"

"Just call me…the Knight." THE END?
