Transforming Helex laughed delightedly as he seized the squirming frame cowering in front of him. The blue paint had be torn off enough revealing a battered black and white frame below. A frame belonging to an Autobot annoying enough to be on a special list.

"So the traitor is actually the Autobot scum Jazz," he sneered as he pulled the Autobot into the gaping torso. Quickly the locking mechanisms activated trapping the mech in the activating smelter. Soon the spy would be nothing but a melted pile of components and charred armor.

In some ways it was disappointing not to hear screams and pleas for mercy but perhaps this spy thought he could find a way out. He'd be disappointed before he deactivated. No one escaped the heat of Helex.

A heat that was increasing at an alarming rate far beyond what he normally produced. The searing inferno within had increased beyond his normal capacities and Helex felt his very cables and wiring melting. Frantically trying to comm Tarn, Helex discovered that his circuits were frying from the inside out leaving no way to send out a warning about the true menace he'd discovered. Mercifully he eventually offlined like so many of his victims.

As the burned and melted frame fell to the floor to shatter and crack apart a cloud of shimmering crimson and cinnabar fire rose from the carnage and gradually flowed into a vaguely mech-shaped form with glowing yellow optics. A sense of dark delight seemed to emanate from it.

"Well that was fun for a change," Jazz said with a dark chuckle before solidifying completely into his black and white mech disguise to continue hunting down the rest of the Decepticon base. He could be patient and enjoy toying with the rest of his prey; there'd be another Helex to play with soon enough. After all this was the second one he'd encountered so far.

The Autobot officers would be pleased to know one member of the Decepticon Justice Division was offline even if Prowl wouldn't let Jazz explain exactly how he did it.
