Hi. First, I would like to thank everyone who read and commented on the previous chapter. I was very happy to read comments. In today's chapter the part about parallel universes will begin. Some of the universes that will appear in today's chapter are tributes to stories I read here on the site and I really liked them. There's also a nice surprise in this chapter. Hugs and thanks to everyone who read it.

Vincent knew it wouldn't be a fast teleport, as the path to where Flim-Flam was was not a straight line but a curve, so they would pass through some parallel universes before reaching where he was.

He knew a little about multiverses in theory. Sometimes he had seen other universes through the crystal ball and made some notes about them, but now he would have a chance to see how it really worked.

He promised himself that he would have a serious talk with Flim-Flam when he found him, warning him about the risk of traveling through the Multiverses and talking about how difficult it was to find him.

He was still thinking about it when they made their first stop. He looked around and remembered having already studied a little about that universe. In that reality there were versions practically identical to them. In this universe their parallel versions

had lived many adventures together and had as their main enemy the 13th ghost.

"Look at Flim-Flam!"- Scrappy said excitedly seeing the Flim-Flam version of that universe.

"He's the Flim-Flam, but it's not our Flim-Flam." Vincent said holding him before he ran after the boy. He was still holding him when they went to the second universe.

Vincent had also seen some of this second universe. In that reality Flim-Flam was older, there were more people in the gang and in this universe the 13th ghost helped the gang to recapture the other ghosts from the chest. The passage through this universe was in the blink of an eye.

Soon they were in the third universe. The farther they went, the less Vincent knew about the universes. He looked around and realized that in that reality somehow all the people in the city had turned into monsters. They got out of there before Scooby and Shaggy started to get really scared.

When they reached the fourth universe, everyone felt a little dizzy from the many jumps through the multiverse. They were ready for another jump, because to get to Flim-Flam they would have to keep jumping of reality and reality until reaching the one he was in, but the crystal ball seemed to need some time to recharge.

"It looks like your castle, Mr. V."- Shaggy said looking around, even in that situation his eyes went towards the kitchen. - "Even the kitchen is in the same place."

Vincent looked around and indeed they were in a parallel version of his castle. Despite being similar, they had some differences. As he waited for the crystal ball to recharge he looked around, making sure they were far away from the original universe.

Suddenly they heard voices coming from the kitchen. Those voices got closer until the noise of something breaking cut the air. When they looked in the direction of the noise, they saw the Daphne of that universe looking at them with an expression of astonishment. She was shocked when she saw them and so had dropped the cup she was holding.

"Daphne?"-Vincent said, trying to explain to her what was going on. "I'm sorry to have scared you."

The Daphne of that reality was silently trying to absorb the new information. Vincent took advantage of her silence to continue talking:

"We came from a parallel universe. We're after Flim-Flam and we had to go through here."

She opened her mouth to say something, but before she could speak new footsteps were heard. A little boy came out of the kitchen and stood beside her. The child looked at everyone before asking:

"Why have two of your, Mommy?"

"Mommy? Do I have a son in this universe? Who is his father?" Daphne asked, still shocked. She was shocked by the new information as was everyone who came with it.

The child seemed oblivious to the general shock. The little boy looked at Vincent and smiled. She ran to him and hugged him saying:

"Grandpa V. Did you come back early?"

That was the moment for Vincent to be in shock. He couldn't return the hug. But the little boy didn't seem willing to let go of him at all. When he looked better at the boy, he noticed that he was wearing a miniature of his cape.

After the moment when the boy tried to hug Vincent the Daphne of that universe seemed to calm down a little. She thought that even from a different universe those people in front of her were still her family and friends. She said when she saw that the boy was still trying to hug Vincent:

"I don't know how things work in your universe, but here Vincent is like a father to me, so when Dylan was born he kind of became a grandfather to him. Even more so after what happened to Dylan's father. "

It was too much information to take in, but after hearing what she said, Vincent thought it was right to hug him back. He hugged the boy with one arm while the other held the crystal ball.

He was still hugging him when suddenly the crystal ball began to glow without warning, as if it was preparing to teleport them. That wasn't supposed to happen. The trip through the Multiverse seemed to have affected the crystal ball and it seemed to be working of its own accord, without his triggering it.

"Dylan back off, please."- Vincent said nervously when he saw what would happen. He tried to get the boy away before they were teleported to the other universe. The boy looked at him confused and released him, but he couldn't get away in time. They were teleported to another universe and Dylan went with them.

As they went to the other universe they heard in the distance the voice of Daphne from that universe, Dylan's mother, promising to go after her son and asking Vincent to take care of the boy until she arrived.

When they arrived at the fifth universe, they were all without reaction to what had happened. Things had gotten out of hand. They had just brought a boy from a parallel universe with them. This added to the confusion that started with Flim-Flam disappearing.

"I liked the trick, Grandpa V."- Dylan's voice sounded breaking the silence. The little boy still didn't quite understand what had happened.

"We have to send him back immediately. The other Daphne must be devastated without her son," Daphne whispered in a way only Vincent heard. She wondered how the other version of herself must be distressed by what had happened.

"It was my intention, but the crystal ball again stopped working."- he also replied in a whisper.

He was still holding the crystal ball when an image began to form. The static was gone and the image showed Flim-Flam. Apparently they were finally in the right universe. But that didn't calm him down, because from the image Flim-Flam was in danger.

Dylan was an original character created by me after imagining what it would be like if Daphne had a child.Looks like they finally got to where Flim-Flam is. But in this universe what will await them? Get ready for strong emotions in the next chapter and a heartbreaking moment. The next chapter will be published next Monday.
