Underworld
"It is so wonderful to see you once more, Cheshire." Sorako states with a smile which went unreciprocated by Cheshire who just stares back impassively. Silence fell between the two as Sorako fix a nostalgic gaze on the onyx marble doors covered in primrose engravings as he murmurs: "You still had access to her door… She always loved her portals…" "Why are you doing this Sorako?" The brown hair male just smiles wryly at Cheshire's rough interruption. "I suppose…Drakon was unable to persuade you… I thought someone with a kindred soul would have been able to win you to our side…" Cheshire grits his teeth as he responds: "This is not what any of us would have wanted. You would have known that Sorako." The brown hair male blinks, his smile unnaturally stiff as Cheshire's words seem to hit a mark. Anax slowly places Aria down, covering her with his cloak as he readies himself just as Sorako's cosmo exploded in anger. The sheer magnitude of cosmo had forced Ananx to his knees and rendered even the Twin Gods immobile. "H-How…is Sorako…doing this…?" Thanatos thinks to himself and his eyes widens in shock as Cheshire remains seemingly unaffected by the cosmo as he stares sadly at Sorako. "Then what do you think we would have wanted, Cheshire?" The male seethes as Cheshire remains silent, his mind flashbacks to his battle with Drakon.
Flashback
"Once again Cheshire, are you with us, or against us?" The silver haired male grits his teeth, clenching his fist tightly as he hears the faint groan of Rhadamanthys as he is choked by Drakon. Silence went by as Drakon continues speaking: "I won't repeat my words Cheshire…" "Is this…?" Drakon stops speaking as Cheshire continues speaking. "Is this the only way…?" Cheshire chokes out, golden eyes leaking tears as he gazes back sorrowfully at his old comrade. Drakon stares back before smirking ruefully as he replies: "Yet, this is the only path we have left. Isn't it?" Cheshire opens his mouth to retort but could find no words to dissuade him. Drakon shakes his head slightly before he continues speaking: "It is a shame Cheshire. You would have been able to live your future with Heros should you have joined us." Cheshire inhales shakily as the words struck him hard.
Despite noticing the hurt in his eyes, Drakon continues speaking casually: "I remember how you spoke so much about doing anything for Heros. Yet now with the chance right I front of you…You refuse to grab it. Even when the proof is right before you!" Drakon exclaims as he pointed to the unconscious Heros behind him. Cheshire remains silent as Drakon continues speaking: "I can't help but question it now Cheshire…whether your feelings for Heros are true or…were they just a farce."
Drakon had barely finished his sentence when Cheshire appeared right in his face. Before he could even react, a sharp pain erupted from his side as blood soaked through the side of his cloak and forced the male to release his grip on the unconscious current hell judge. When he looked up, he sees Cheshire laying Rhadamanthys down before standing. Cheshire calmly flicks blood off his claws as he turns to face his old comrade with dangerous calm. "Drakon, you can say anything about me but do not ever make assumptions about my love for Heros!" Drakon said nothing, as Cheshire continues speaking: "Perhaps this might have been the way for us to be reunited but…" Cheshire chokes slightly, his gaze focused on the unconscious Heros behind Drakon. "If it had to result in Heros being hurt… I would rather him remain dead…even if it kills me." Silence fell between both warriors and Drakon clenches his fist tightly, his gaze lowered as he begins flaring his cosmo while Cheshire braces himself for impact. Instead of attacking, Drakon's cosmo abruptly dies down and he gazes at Cheshire with a mixture of sadness, apology and realization. The standoff lasted for a few minutes before Drakon turns away and under Cheshire's watchful yet reluctant gaze scoops up Heros. "You…" Cheshire starts but was cut off by Drakon. "…Like I said, I was only here to ask you to join us. You have very clearly stated your stance on the matter. Don't worry about Heros. I will make sure he gets help." Drakon stated impassively as Cheshire relaxes his stance. Drakon then proceeds to wave his hand summoning another wooden door before him. "You can take Heros door, I believe you know what to do to get it to work. Sorako is probably in the Underworld now, maybe you can still get through to him." At those words, Drakon turns away, facing those doors as Cheshire calls out.
"Drakon this plan…whatever it is…You do not have to go through with this…" Drakon remains silent and as the doors swing open, Cheshire lets out one last ditch effort. "Basil would not want you to do this!" Drakon stiffens slightly, staring into the darkness of the open doorway as he replies Cheshire: "It may be the case Cheshire…but we are already on the path of no return. Same goes for Sorako…" Cheshire opens his mouth to retort but Drakon interrupts him: "It was nice meeting you again Ches. I'm sorry it had to be this way." Drakon proceeded to give a side glance accompanied by a very familiar sad smile before stepping through the doorway. Cheshire could only watch on as the door close shut, the bell ringing once before dispersing into shards.
Flashback ends
"I'm waiting for your answer Cheshire…" Sorako's sickeningly sweet voice cuts through his thoughts. If it had been in the past, Cheshire would have bashfully scratched his head and Sorako will chuckle and repeat his instructions. Yet, the current man standing before him bore no resemblance to the Sorako he knew in his memories except for his appearance. Cheshire calmly gaze straight into those emerald eyes: "We would never hurt anyone for any reason. Especially you, Sorako. You wanted peace out of all of us… You tried every means to maintain the peace we used to have…before the wars…" Sorako was silent, his gaze lowered as he seems to be processing Cheshire's words. Soon, his shoulders begin to shudder and Sorako threw his head back in maniacal laughter. Cheshire's eyes widen in shock as the laughter continued. It was not a laughter of joy or carefree. It was an insane, empty and chilling laugh that he never expected to hear, not from the man before him…
Eventually, the laughter slowly dies down to chuckles as Sorako inhales to calm himself down. "Peace…yes… I had always wanted peace. I desired it especially for Lord Hades… He had never wanted to hurt anyone even when they waged the wars around him. Even when they tried to get him to join in…He never gave in…until we were gone…" Sorako's empty gaze fixed onto Cheshire. "That's why we have to come back in order to regain the peace for Lord Hades…" Sorako trails off as he eyed the pulsating orb that he cradled carefully in his arms. Cheshire's eyes widened as he caught whiff of the scent coming from the orb. "No…it can't be…" He notices the unconscious Lord of the Underworld on the ground and rushes towards him. The lack of pulse from the pale limb confirmed his deepest fears. "You…" Sorako continues to hum quietly as he pets the orb in his hands. "There is no need for Lord Hades to have a body…it is so much easier to keep him safe this way…don't you agree…?"
Sorako had barely finished his sentence as a claw came inches towards his face. Sorako just smiles as Cheshire seemed to pause mid air in flight. It didn't take long for the unwilling spectators to realise why. The golden eye male hisses as a scratch mark formed on his cheek. Shimmering threads were binding the cat like spectre, fixing him mid-jump. Sorako beams, humming slightly as he twitches a finger causing the threads to squeeze around Cheshire, leaving behind bloody welts. "I suppose Drakon has been too soft for this mission. If not he wouldn't have left it incomplete…So unlike the detailed man in my memories…" Cheshire hisses as the threads squeezes tightly around his neck as Sorako grins derangedly. "Now then Cheshire, for the sake of a new history… I'm afraid we must say goodbye."
Sanctuary
"I promise to make this swift and painless…" Saori glares back as the glow from the jade orb increases as the woman before her grins. "Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!" As the voice rang out, a series of light rays cut through the walls just as a shaggy brown hair male burst through. The woman 'tch' as she summons a vine to ward off the newcomer. This action led to the vine loosening around Saori who took the opportunity to free herself. "Seiya!" The Pegasus saint immediately teleports to Saori's side. "Are you ok Ms Saori?" The purple haired goddess was readying her reply only to be interrupted by more vines coming in their direction. Immediately, Seiya pulls Saori behind him and starts releasing another round of Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken which shattered the vines and hit the cloaked lady head on. "Yes!" Seiya cheers only for the smoke to clear and the cloaked figure to stand there unharmed. "How…?" Seiya murmurs as the lady eyes him before commenting: "I see…the God Killer Pegasus saint… I suppose I should take this battle seriously then." She murmurs before sending away her vines, her cosmo expanding as Seiya goes into a defensive stance. She raises her arms, her cosmo forming a guillotine right behind her as she uttered her attack: "Behead him, Blood Flower Scissors." Seiya scoops Athena into his arms, dodging just as the guillotine blade fell. As a result, a gaping hole was left where the duo had once stood. "I will say this once Pegasus saint. Leave your goddess be and I will spare you and the entire Sanctuary." Seiya huffs. "I must be insane to leave her with you!" The lady glares, her cosmo spiking with anger. "Then perish with her."
More vines erupted and headed straight towards Seiya and Saori. Seiya focuses his cosmo, sending a cosmic energy filled punch that shredded the vines before him before proceeding to use the surrounding vines as a stepping stone to approach his enemy. "What a foolish man." The woman comments as she waves a hand as a guillotine appears right behind Seiya who attempts to attack her. The guillotine snaps shut only for Seiya to disappear and re-appear behind her. "What!?" Seiya smirks as he activates his cosmo full blast. "Pegasus rolling crush!" The impact sends both figure hurtling through the roof of Athena temple. "Seiya!" Saori cries out as she summons a barrier to deflect the falling stones. It took a few minutes before she sees a ball of light crashing back down into the temple. "Sei-!" The words were trapped in her throat as she sees the woman standing, her feet on the unconscious Pegasus's saint's chest. "Hmm…I thought the God Slayer would be stronger than this but I suppose his soul should be sufficient." With those words, she holds the jade orb close to the Pegasus saint.
"Remove your hand from him!" Saori exclaims as she focuses her Nike, attempting to release a strong burst of cosmo only for a vine to shoot out and knock away the staff from her hand. More vines shot out wrapping around the goddess and dragging her close so she was face to face with the enemy before her. Saori glares at her defiantly. "What are your reasons for doing this? My Uncle-Lord Hades no longer seeks vengeance on this earth!" The woman smiles wistfully. "I don't see the need to elaborate further. After all, once you die and reincarnate once more you will no longer remember anything! Unlike my lord who is force to carry on with those memories of pain and regrets from broken promises…" She stops mid-words, biting her lips so hard that it bled as she continues speaking: "I heard that the Pegasus saint will always find his way to the goddess Athena. No matter how many times they are reincarnated…they are always reunited…" She eyes the jade orb in her hands. Her grief reflected back at her from the surface of the orb as she continues speaking: "For this, I envy you Lady Athena. To be reunited with those close to you, even if is just for a fleeting moment…Even clambering through a path of thorns will become a breezy stroll." A tear trickled down her cheek, landing on the jade orb as her voice drops to a soft whisper. "Isn't that true, Vidar?" Saori felt a chill run down her spine as her enemy continues her one-sided conversation with the Jade orb before her. "…You are right…this has to end now. Everyone is waiting." The woman holds up the glowing jade orb towards Saori. "This farce is over. Surrender your souls…for your sins."
Solo family private beach
"Lord Julian!" Sorrento screams as the siren opens its mouth. "Aurora Borealis!" A gust of icy wind froze the siren stopping its attempt and her surrounding sisters. The others sensing the danger immediately retreated behind the cloaked figure as the one-eye male stood before Julian. "Can you stand Lord Julian, Sorrento?" The blue haired god smiles as he stables himself. "I'm alright, I suppose today was not the day for a relaxing day at the beach huh Isaak?" The one-eyed male manages a smile at the joke. "Perhaps not milord." The males share a chuckle as they turn to face the cloaked figure who was still calmly staring at the scene unfazed. "It's wonderful to see people reunite. A shame it has to be under these circumstances." The two Mariners formed a defensive stance wary of the cloaked male before them as he casually raises a hand. To their surprise, the sirens retreated back to the ocean.
"What are you…?" "I just don't want my friends to get hurt so…" The males smiles sweetly as he flares his cosmo. "I guess I will have to do the work then." With those words, the male politely bows before he starts to extend his arms and extending his legs gracefully before he begins to twirl, his movement sending sand flying into the air. As he did so, the water begins to rise and collect behind him in a sphere. "First dance, αιχμές βροχής (Rain Dance)." With a wave of his hands, the water sphere begins shooting out needles of water towards the Mariners. "Do you think this would work?" Isaak shouts just as he summons another wave of icy air to freeze the water needles heading towards him. "Well as a distraction, yes." Isaak's eyes widen as the cloaked male had already re-appeared at his blind side and sent a fist straight at him. Isaak barely dodges the fist, a scratch formed on his cheek and his fists as him and the male exchange blows. "He is fast but…not fast enough!" Isaak loudly states as he summons a blast of icy air, effectively freezing the male in place. "H-How…" The words went unfinished as Isaak sent a fist through the male's frozen body, shattering him into pieces.
Julian and Sorrento blinks at the unexpectedly swift end while Isaak shakes his fist. "Huh guess he was nothing. Lord Julian are you alright?" Julian smiles. "Well, since you are here. I could offer you a drink?" The three laughs only for Isaak to suddenly stiffen. "Isaak?" "What the-cough!" Isaak suddenly raises his left arm and grips it tightly around his throat. "Isaak!" Sorrento starts only to be slammed down on the ground. "I'm sorry, I need you to stay down." His eyes widened as the very same cloaked male who was currently holding him down on the ground. "Sorrento!" Julian shouts only to find himself immobile as a wave of water binds his feet and hands. "You…how…?" The cloaked male tilts his head, revealing a silver eye under messy blue streaked hair. "Well, I just controlled the water in his body. Ah and before I forget, the 'me' he defeated was just a clone I made from water." He added, emphasising the 'me' by twitching 2 fingers on his raised hands. Sorrento growls but he was interrupted by the choking sounds of Isaak who was now kneeling on the ground, eyes bulging as he struggles to breathe. "Ah, he's probably going to die soon. Which may be good for me because I need souls." "Let…him go." The male puts a finger on his chin. "Hmm, let's have a deal then. You can let me have Poseidon's soul and I will free your friend. It's perfect!" Sorrento remains silent, his hands trying to reach for his flute but a water tendril grabs it away and hands it to the male sitting on him.
"Oh thank you. Wow, this is so nostalgic... I haven't seen it being performed in so long especially in his hands…it would have sounded like magic…" The male trails off, eyeing the flute with a nostalgic gaze before beaming at the male he was casually seating on. "Thank you for taking care of it. I'm sure your predecessor must be very proud of you for that!" Sorrento grits his teeth, his cosmo swirling with anger and slight confusion when Julian begins to speak. "Let them go." The cloaked male turns to Julian, twirling the flute in his hands. "I'm sorry for disturbing your holiday Mr Julian but I have orders..." "Let them go Vrochí." The male stops twirling the flute abruptly, as Sorrento and Isaak sense the change in Julian's demeaner. "…You have awakened?" The cloaked male asks as Julian stares back, his eyes glowing slightly. "Free my warriors, Vrochí." The cloaked male was silent before he stands, allowing Sorrento to sit up. Surprisingly, he hands back the flute to the slightly confused but wary Mariner before casually snapping his fingers allowing Isaak's hand to drop from his throat, leaving him to collapse on the ground heaving for air. "Am I that obvious?" The cloaked male asks as he pulls back his hood, revealing messy dark blue hair, streaked with purple. A single silver eye stares back at Poseidon as the god stares back.
"Your dance is as beautiful as I last remembered." Vrochí smiles and politely did another bow. "I'm grateful that my performance could still bring you joy." Sorrento watch tersely and noticed that Poseidon was staring at the man before him with a mixture of joy and sadness. "How were you revived?" Vrochí smiles as he stares out at the ocean. "By some 'miracle' I supposed. I wish I could say more but then I wouldn't have the chance to speak to you further if I broke my promise with Sorako." His gaze flickered back to the god who remains silent, his bangs covering his eyes before he slowly looks up. "You speak of presents for a dead man?" "A man who will no longer be dead." Sorrento watches as Poseidon remains silent. "…Does my brother know?" Vrochí shakes his head. "Sorako did say it was going to be a surprise for Lord Hades. I can't wait to see him smiling when we bring him back." The males ended with a cheerful giggle and Poseidon shuts his eyes sorrowfully. "And to do that you need my soul." Vrochí smiles. "That's right, I guess I'm having a much easier time with you. Aspen is having a really hard time at Sanctuary." "What!?" Sorrento exclaims as the blue hair male giggles. "We need souls and well there's a whole bunch of them at Sanctuary, in the Underworld and…Poseidon's Sea temple." Sorrento's cosmo flares in anger as he realises that he could no longer sense the cosmos from the the ocean army. "I see." All eyes focus on Poseidon once more as he fixes his gaze on Vrochí. "You are here to punish me for my sins?" Vrochí thinks for a bit as he replies: "Well I don't really think it's that serious but I guess Sorako sees it that way…I mean I guess when we did ask for help but no one showed up…" The male's eyes darken despite the smile on his face as he continues: "Then I suppose everyone's death is partly your fault then. My death…Angel's death…" Poseidon wordlessly clenches his fist as Vrochí pulls out an ocean blue orb from his cloak. "Would you like to pay for your sins by giving me your soul, Lord Poseidon?"
Underworld
"Now then Cheshire, for the sake of a new history… I'm afraid we must say goodbye." Cheshire hisses as he stares into those cold emerald eyes. Is this truly the Sorako he once knew? Where did the gentle and thoughtful male go? The one who would stop fights and comfort those in tears? The one who listened to Hades and gave him advice regardless of triviality and time? The one who would resolve conflicts with words and not fists? Was this person…really the one in his memories…? Cheshire's vision blurred as he stares into Sorako's eyes, feeling his hope slip away with each second as the male before him remains a complete stranger. "Goodbye Cheshire, my precious friend." Sorako prepares to end Cheshire's life when several cosmo induced lightning struck the areas near him. "Release them, you fiend!" A familiar voice cuts through the air as Pandora appears before them, brandishing a familiar three prong trident with snakes engraved on it. "Pandora, get away from him!" Thanatos shouts as he and his brother struggled against the force that is pushing them down. "Lord Hypnos, Lord Thanatos how… Lord Hades!" Pandora screams as she starts running towards the god laying on the ground. "Lady Pandora, don't!" Cheshire shrieks as Sorako teleports right in front of her. Pandora instinctively tries to fend back only to suddenly buckle to her knees.
"What…?" She looks down to see familiar thin threads binding her legs and waist. "Cosmic Marionette..? How…?" She stops as Sorako abruptly appears before her before cupping her face with one hand. "It has been so long Lady Pandora." Pandora stares at the male in a mixture of confusion and anger. "I do not know you. Especially a fiend who is attempting to destroy the Underworld." Sorako just laughs. "You were very young when we first met after all but that determination and spunk is definitely the same. Exactly like your older sister…" Pandora stares back in confusion. "Are you insane? I never had an older sister!" Sorako stares at Pandora for a moment before his eyes soften in understanding and anguish. "I see…her last magic before her end…" Pandora's expression was morphing between anger and confusion before she determinedly raises her trident and attempts to stab the male before her. Sorako steps away and Pandora slices through the threads binding her before running towards Hades.
"Lord Hades, are you alright? Lord Hades? Lord Hades!" Pandora yells as she shakes the fallen Lord of Death as Sorako leisurely strolls towards her. "There's no need to worry Lady Pandora. Lord Hades is safely stored here." He shows her the pulsating orb and Pandora's cosmo flares in response. "Release him immediately!" Sorako pulls the orb closer. "I'm afraid I cannot Lady Pandora. For Lord Hades's happiness and yours as well." Emerald eyes gaze into purple eyes. "It is the wish of your sister as well." Pandora stares at him in confusion. "What are you saying…? I've always been guarding Lord Hades alone…all this time with the Specters…!" Sorako tilts his head. "Are you sure about that? Or perhaps…it is better that way after all…you were the main key source that led to Hades falling into the Holy Wars." Purple eyes widen at the words as Cheshire starts screaming. "Stop it, Sorako!" "W-What are you saying…?" Cheshire snarls, struggling in the binds as Sorako just smiles at the rather confused Pandora.
"How about a story?" Pandora didn't say respond and the male shrugs before continuing: "A long time ago, The Lord of Death ruled the Underworld. By his side, his three loyal judges, his army of 108 warriors and most importantly his close friends and support. Despite being surrounded by the dreadful screeching of the dead, the Lord of the Underworld was never lonely. He had close friends after all. One of them had a pair of sisters that served him faithfully. The older was a wise and witty individual, the younger strong headed, loyal with a strong curiosity. Both served and loved each other dearly."
Pandora felt a deep throbbing in her skull and her vision begins to blur. A slew of images ran through her mind. She sees a table set up with a tea set, a blurred figure elegantly sipping tea opposite her. She sees herself running through a field turning back to that same blurry figure, laughing brightly. The same figure reading her story books and brushing her hair gently before leaning over to kiss her forehead. As the figure retreated, the scene abruptly changes to a scene of flames and carnage. The blurry figure slowly sharpening into a silhouette. The lady turns and another bout of headaches struck Pandora as she squeezes her eyes tightly. Her eyes reopen to see herself back in the desolated Underworld with Sorako squatting in front of her.
Sorako remains unperturbed as he continues speaking: "One day, tragedy struck and a darkness tried to take over the lands. The Lord of Death, along with his army and close confidant went off to war. The older sister accompanied them and before she left, she told her little sister to never ever listen to anyone calling for her. Her little sister agreed and promised."
The throbbing increased tenfold and Pandora found herself close to pulling the hair out of her scalp as the immense pressure threatens to knock her out. "The little sister was waiting desperately when she heard a voice. She tried to ignore oh she did try so badly but when she heard that it could help her sister…she followed." At this point Pandora was in pure agony, all she wanted was for the man in front of her to stop speaking but she was so drained of energy that she couldn't. "The little sister followed the voice and she sees an orb. The voice said to break it and everything will be over, her sister will be safe. Now a question before we go on…what do you think the little sister did?" Pandora did not reply, her chest heaved as she tries to fight through the pain, her grip tightening on her trident. "Sorako that's enough!" Cheshire screams as Sorako smiled continuing his story with glee: "She did as she was told. She smashed the orb unaware that that was the seal keeping the evil's powers in… The evil grew powerful and overwhelmed everyone. Lives were lost…" Sorako pauses as he inhales shakily, his eyes misting slightly while Anax remained silent. A minute passed and Sorako continues speaking: "In the end, the Lord of the Underworld lost his closest confidant and friend, his generals and his army. The little girl lost her older sister who decided to cast one last spell to make sure that she never remembered what she did…"
Sorako was abruptly interrupted as he dodges an energy strike from Pandora. "…I have enough of your lies… Return Lord Hades back to us or I will rip out your tongue first…!" Sorako stares back before he starts to chuckle which develop into full blown laughter. The male continues laughing for a full minute as a pale looking Pandora continues to point her trident menacingly at him. "Η γνώση (I gnósi) was right, we always want the pleasant lie…rather than the painful truth…" Sorako chuckles just as another energy blast heads straight for him. "Sorako! Look out!" Anax exclaims as Sorako holds up a hand to casually block the energy attack from Cheshire. "Ch-Cheshire." "Lady Pandora, please stay behind me." Cheshire states as he stood in between Sorako and Lady Pandora.
"I didn't want to do this the hard way Cheshire…" Sorako murmurs as suddenly hunches over. When he raises his head, an inverted crescent moon with a flame underneath forms on his forehead. An inky darkness slowly overtakes his scelera in his left eye "That's…" "Impossible…!" Both Twin judges gasp in unison while Cheshire froze. "Sorako…why…?" Sorako didn't respond as he just quietly murmurs: "…Oh my…he is getting so impatient after all…I'm not surprise. He just wants to see Lord Hades again…just like all of us…" Cheshire immediately went on the defensive as Sorako's gaze focus on him. There was a tense moment of silence before Sorako glance back Anax. "Anax, we are heading back. After all, we have gotten so many souls already. Lord Cain can't wait any longer." Anax swallows nervously as he does a sharp whistle and the horde of harpies begin to fly back into the open doors. "…I will call the others." Anax states as he shuts his eyes, sending a brief message to the others using his cosmo as Sorako summons another door. This time the door was made with dark onyx marble. The archway of the door was covered with carvings of various vines and plants. On the door itself, the right had an angel sitting on a throne bathe in light carved on it while the left had a demon smirking on a throne of skulls.
Cheshire snarls as he leaps forward intending to stop Sorako only to be blocked by Anax. "You…" "I'm sorry Cheshire. I can't let you interfere." Cheshire snarls as he lashes out at Anax only for the male to jab several pressure points in light speed. He crumples on his knees as Pandora cries out. "Cheshire!" Anax kneels as Cheshire's head landed on his shoulder seemingly looking like he is catching Cheshire's body and holds it close. "I'm sorry Chesh… I can't let you stop this revival…" Anax states loudly. "I can't let you die for this insane decision." Cheshire's eyes widen as he hears the message through their cosmos. "Anax, are you…?" The blue haired male tightens his grip around Cheshire and the male felt the familiar tell-tale signs of healing cosmo slowly flooding through his veins. "Listen close Cheshire. Arioch is awakening. The seal is weakening because of our actions. I'm sorry Cheshire." Cheshire felt his heart sink and a building dread upon his next question. "How do we stop it?" Anax smiles sadly. "We sacrificed our souls to imprison Arioch. Likewise, Arioch managed to find a way to absorb more strength through the souls that sealed him…To weaken him you have to destroy those souls…" Cheshire could only continue to kneel numbly as Anax stands. "Please don't get in our way Cheshire. We only want the whole family back. If you are not happy about it…come and get us." With those words, Anax turns and scoops are Aria before entering the doorway. Sorako glance at Anax for a moment before turning to Cheshire. "There is no need to worry Cheshire, Lord Hades will be in good hands. I will humbly await your visit with everyone else." Sorako enters the doorway and the doors slammed shut behind him before dissipating into a cloud of dark feathers.
As soon as Sorako disappeared, the ominous presence holding the others down were released and the judges rush over to check Lord Hades. "Cheshire! Are you alright!?" Pandora exclaims as she rushed over, stopping mid words as she noted the tears running down the specter's cheeks. Cheshire sobbing as Anax last cosmo message rang in his mind.
"You will have to kill us, there is no other way..."
