Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Beseria. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Beseria, Bandai and such do.

The figure continued forwards with a scythe atop his shoulders. His face was hidden under his cloaked mask as he hummed.

The figure was not normal, the deathly aura that seemed to radiate from him was enough to show that. He took a deeply metallic breath before humming as he looked up at the sky.

"Ow… Need to keep moving." The figure muttered as he continued to walk forward. "Hmm…" He said as he put his hand to his hip and looked over his shoulder.

He could feel pain lancing throughout his body. He was quite unsure of what happened next. He could barely feel his body when it came down to it. The figure sighed and leaned on a tree before looking up at the clouds.

He rubbed at his cloaked head before rubbing his fingers together while sighing. He needed more energy. He was quite unsure what was going to happen next. He needed to keep moving or he'd die before long.

This figure was named Clay, and he was quite curious as to what was happening right now. Clay tapped his scythe on his shoulder before leaning on the weapon.

Clay knew something would happen soon; he could feel energy polluting the air. Clay felt something tugging him forward. He didn't know what to say… What to do, then again? Clay couldn't exactly grasp what was happening currently, his body felt heavy, pulled downwards by a massive weight.

He leaned on his weapon before slowly starting to trudge forward once more. Clay coughed through the metallic mask that he wore upon his face. He felt his mind become foggy while he looked up at the night sky.

He liked the view of the lights… No, the stars above which made him question just what had created them. Something made him quite curious as to what had given light to the stars. Clay could glare up at them forever if he felt like it.

But he couldn't, he was compelled forward. Clay scratched at the back of his head while he looked around.

"Keep… Moving." Clay stated to himself while cracking his neck while caused him to grunt. He fell to a knee and then slowly pushed himself to his feet.

Clay took a deep breath and glared through his mask with deep dark blue eyes. His body felt ragged and in pain, but it did nothing to bother him. This pain wracking his body was not a new one… But it also gave him great power to fight back and feast upon greater power to grow.

Clay tapped his scythe upon the ground, sending a pulse of energy through the ground. He grunted and slowly urged his body forward once more.

"Need energy… Need power… Damn it." Clay muttered to himself and pulled at his cloak.

Clay didn't know what would happen next. He couldn't figure out his next move. His mind buzzed with such pain and intensity that he was hopeful death took him.

Or he'd find whatever was causing this headache of new energy. It drove him forward with such intensity and a powerful desire to secure it for himself that he ignored the power pulling him down. Clay sighed as he rested his weapon on his shoulder. He wouldn't use his weapon like a crutch for much longer. He was not going to be dependent on such a thing to push him forward.

Clay shook his head and then turned to the side while he looked to the side. Clay needed another feast or he'd die… This was his curse; this was his blessing.

And he knew neither pain nor fear enough to ignore it. Clay had found something that he wanted, and he'd get it whether he had to chase it across the countryside…

"Power…" Clay muttered to himself while he cracked a smile from behind the mask. "Need power." Clay added to himself while rubbing at his eyes as he looked to himself.

There were a thousand thoughts carving through his brain… And the first one was who could have such power.

Clay would find them, and he'd have the energy sooner or later. Clay was quite hopeful that he'd he free sooner or later.

Or he'd be dead and it wouldn't matter anymore.
