Amy Santiago hated when she was paired with Peralta. He was childish, immature and infuriating. And yet, he was one of the best detectives she could work with. She'd choose Jake Peralta over Hitchcock or Scully any day.
There was something intriguing about Jake Peralta. He was a decent friend, he was a good person. He was a pain in her ass, but he protected them like he would his family. And that smile. That smile made her smile, and she hated it.
And maybe she didn't hate working with him.
