This chapter was slightly harder to write than the previous two chapters. It took me a week just to write and most of the time I was starting over again, just because I was not happy with what was happening in it.
Chapter 9: Master Qymaen jai Sheelal
The Jedi Temple was a large and grand building in Coruscant. It was one of the largest buildings in all of Coruscant and also covered a lot of land of the world that made the heart of the Republic. Many Jedi of different ranks walked all over the place. Jedi Knights and Masters who had apprentices all made their way either back to the Temple to rest up or they were going to back to their fleets with new missions. There was a few Clone Commanders with their Jedi as they gave their generals reports of completed missions or missions that were about the start.
Walking towards the Jedi Temple was one of the Jedi Generals. A Jedi Master who was well respected by all the other Jedi and his clone commanders. He was the only cyborg Jedi in the Orders history. He had been badly hurt in the Battle of Geonosis that had sparked the Clone Wars. His injuries could not be healed by the Force alone that he had become the first cyborg Jedi. Before he became a cyborg he was an imposing figure, and now after all the implants and new limbs that have been added to his body he was even more imposing. He was as tall as a Wookie when he stood tall and straight, but most of the time he walked with a slight hunch in his back.
His clawed feet clanked against the marble floor with every step that he took. The Jedi who he passed bowed their heads in respect as he walked by them. He returned the bow as he walked past them towards the Council Chamber. He knew where he was going. He had been at the temple since he was four after Master Yoda had found him as a youngling. The Temple had been his home, but in recent months to nearly a year he had been spending more time on his Venator than back at the Temple. The only few times that he had been back at the Temple was for debriefings for missions all over the warfront.
He walked towards the massive doors of the Council Chambers. The doors swung open when they sensed his approach. He did not stop and kept walking into the Council Chamber. He stopped dead in his steps to see that in the Council Chambers was just Master Yoda and Mater Mace Windu. They were sitting in their normal seats in the Council Chambers.
The two Jedi Masters looked towards him as he walked to his chair in the Council Chamber. The metal claws of his feet kept clicking with every step he took to his seat. He fixed his cape before he sat down on his chair. His yellow reptilian eyes looked between the two other Jedi Masters. "Is there something wrong, Masters?" he asked them. His deep baritone voice had a mechanical echo to it as he spoke.
He watched the two Jedi Masters look at each other before they looked back to him. "Mission for you. We have." Master Yoda informed him.
"What mission?" he asked Master Yoda.
Mace Windu spoke up, "It is a mission only for the Jedi council to be concerned about. We have reason to believe that Darth Sidious is after an ancient Jedi artefact. One that we cannot allow the Sith to get their hands on."
"I thought that all the Jedi artefacts have been brought back to the Temple in the Old Republic Age?" he asked the both of them. He was mainly focused on the older green skinned Jedi Master.
"This one was not. Unknown Regions located it is." Master Yoda explained to him.
"Surely if it is in the Unknown Regions it is safe there? There are too many planets out there for Sidious to divert his droid forces to search out there. His droids may outnumber our clone forces, but he is still going to use his numbers advantage against us." he said to the two other Masters. "We also cannot risk sending a single a Jedi or even a Clone Special Taskforce to the Unknown Regions." he continued to speak to the two other Jedi Masters.
"Understand concerns you have. We do." Master Yoda spoke in a calm neutral voice to his former apprentice. "Understand our concerns you should."
"What concerns? What does this thing do?" he asked Master Yoda. He blinked his eyes as he watched Master Yoda's reactions.
Master Yoda looked towards Windu. Windu nodded his head for him to continue. He looked back towards the cyborg Jedi who blinked his organic eyes. The only organic part of his body that was still visible under all the white durasteel armour. "Turn the tide of the war. This can. Get it before Sidious we must. Friend time is not." he explained to Qymaen. "Predict the future's it can."
"Future's?" asked Qymaen. He scrunched up his eyes as he focused on Master Yoda.
"Yes. Consequences happen with actions. Actions lead to different futures." Master Yoda explained to him.
Qymaen was silent as he thought over what he had been told by Master Yoda. He closed his eyes for a moment before opening them. He focused his full attention fully to the Grand Master Yoda. "I will prepare my fleet." he told them all as he stood up from his chair. His metal claws clicked against the floor with every step he took.
"There is no need for that. Your fleet is ready to leave as soon as you get on board." Windu told him.
Qymaen blinked towards Windu before he bowed to both of them. "I will leave right away." he informed them both. He was walking towards the door when he heard Master Yoda speak up. He looked towards the green skinned Grand Master of the Jedi Order. He was still sitting on his chair with his legs hidden under his brown robes.
"Make haste. Not the only ones are we looking for this relic."
"Of course!" he responded back to the Grand Master. He continued to walk out of the Council Chambers. Every step he took there was the clicking of his metal claws. The further away he got from the Chambers the quite the clicking got.

The Venator classed Star Destroyer emerged from hyperspace. The massive ship appeared before a rust red planet. The planet was in the middle of Unknown Regions of galaxy. A large part of the galaxy that was larger than both the Inner and Outer Rims of the galaxy. The planet was a very small planet that could be described more than nothing more than a moon than a planet. There was no moon around the planet and the planet was the third away from the sun in the solar system. When there was no moon around the planet there was a graveyard of shipwrecks. The ships were from all over the universe. Some were recognisable to Qymaen and Commander Ink and there was other ships that orbited around the planet that they did not recognised.
Commander Ink looked towards his General. The clone commander had removed his helmet so that his face was on full view to his General. His face was covered in many tattoos. Much of his skin on his face was covered in tattoos that made him easy to be recognised from the rest of his brothers. His armour had golden highlights worked into it.
"Sir, the scouts are ready whenever you are." Commander Ink told his Jedi General. He looked back towards the viewport. The rusty red planet looked dead and if he wasn't standing beside a Jedi Master who knew what he was looking for, he would have passed it right by. "What is this planets name?" he asked him.
"It has no name, Commander Ink." Qymaen responded back to the human commander. He looked towards the human commander. "I want you to remain here and watch out for anyone who passes this planet by. If any suspicious ship enters the system alert me right away." he ordered the commander.
Commander Ink looked back towards Qymaen. His eyebrows that was the few parts of his face that was not covered in tattoos arched up. "Are we expecting company, sir?" he asked him.
"There is a high possibility that Darth Sidious will be sending his agents to get the artefact." he responded back to his commander.
"Of course, sir. I will keep watching in all directions. And I will warn you if anyone is coming to the planet." Ink responded back to him.
Qymaen's eyes blinked as he bowed his head in response to his second in command. "Thank you, Commander Ink. I will be back as soon as I can." he told the commander. He walked out of the bridge of the Venator. The clicking of his metal claws on the metal floor of the ship echoed in the corridor as he walked to the hanger where the LAAT that was going to take him to the planet below with a team of scouts handpicked by Commander Ink.
