You became curious and stared at Golden Werner, but knowing that they're a pacifist, you decided to trust them and their plan.

"So, let me help you by giffng you zis empty suit of mein." Golden Werner said as they point at their empty suit. "Here, you're gonna need it."

You decided to put on the suit they gave you and you were surprised that it fits.

"Oh, vone more zing," they said, "Verner Verman is very dangerous, so please don't let him catch you or else he'll kill you, just like he did to ze last vone who vore zis suit. Poor soul. I hope you von't end up like ze others. So, I vish you ze best of luck, brafe newcomer."

And with that Golden Werner vanished without a trace. Even though they looked and sounded just like the ghost of Werner Werman, at least they weren't as hostile as him. So, you decided to look for one of the Rat Wraiths.

While you were searching, you heard a ghostly moan. Shit! It's Werner Werman! You began to hide behind the couch as you remembered what Golden Werner said. You saw Werner entire the living room, floating around, looking for you.

"Veeeeeere aaaaaaaare yooooooooou?" He moaned.

You wanted to close your eyes and wait for him to leave, but you fear that he might find you behind the couch, so you decided to make a run for it while his back is turned. As you went out of the living room and right to the hallways, you got off scot-free.

Suddenly...

"So zat's vhere you're going, eh?" said a familiar, sinister voice before laughing maniacally.

Then, Werner appeared from behind and charged at you. You knew you were a goner and flashed your flashlight at him, only for him to be blinded as he screams in shock. This gives you enough time to escape as he growls in anger.

You decided to hide in the kitchen as he ran past you, not knowing where you were hiding. You sighed in relief and became glad that he couldn't find you. Just then...

"Oh, it's you."

You turn around to see a Rat Wraith, but not just any Rat Wraith, the same ghost from last night who tried to attack you. He crossed his arms and glared at you.

"Vat do you vant?" he asked.

You felt guilty and looked sincere at him. He looked at you and noticed something about you.

"Vait, you vant to apologize to me?" he asked. You nodded. "You say you're sorry for ignoring me und you vant me not to kill you?" You nodded again. "Vell, okay. I accept your apology und ein promise is ein promise. I just hope Verner doesn't know about zis."

The ghost hugged you and vanished. You smiled, hoping that the Rat Wraith had kept his promise, but then you realized that there are more Rat Wraiths, making you nervous. Then, you thought about the ghost of Werner Werman and feared about what he'll do to you, making you scared.

"Is somezing wrong?" you heard a voice.

You turned around to see Golden Werner. You took off the suit and stared at them in sorrow.

"Are you okay?" asked Golden Werner.

"Golden Verner, du kleiner ficker!" Werner's angry voice rang out.

"Oh Scheiße!" said Golden Werner. "It's ze ghost of Verner Verman! You gotta run!"

You obliged and ran off. Then, the ghost of Werner Werman appears, glaring at Golden Werner.

"Vhat ze fuck did you do?" Werner hissed.

"Vhat I had to do, you cold, heartless murderer!" Golden Werner exclaimed.

Werner growled angrily.

As you can see, Golden Werner is indeed the good guy. If you think I'm gonna make them the bad guy, you've got another thing coming.
