Title: Changing For The Better
Summary: Due to some interfering witches, a hot night between Katherine and Stefan results in her being pregnant. Stefan starts off by forgiving her and eventually falls in love. Katherine starts off by trying to get Stefan and then she ends up changing. Elena is not happy about any of it. Steferine and slowburn Bamon. Anti-Delena. Takes place after Katherine helps Stefan with his PTSD in Season 5.
Rating: M for Mature due to smut scenes.
Warnings: Not for fans of Elena or Delena. Elena may seem OOC in this story but I'm channeling all my frustration with this character into my writing.

Chapter 14: I'm no doppelganger
Damon knocks on Bonnie's door. She opens it and glares at him.
"I thought I told you not to follow me or I would give you the worst aneurysm of your life."
"I don't care," Damon replies, "I need to apologize to you."
"Fine then, apologize," Bonnie looks at him expectantly.
"That was the apology," Damon rolls his eyes.
"Damon…" Bonnie says in a warning tone and narrows her eyes at him.
Damon swallows and scratches the back of his neck. "Look, I'm sorry. You're more than just a witch, okay? You're amazing and kind and caring and selfless and to tell you the truth I'm jealous of how good you are all the time… I wish I could be like that."
Bonnie sees the sincerity in his eyes and her hard expression softens. She smiles at him. "I forgive you."
Damon sighs in relief before he drops to his knees, feeling like his head is about to explode. The pain disappears just as quickly as it came. He picks himself up off the floor and glares at Bonnie. "What was that for?"
Bonnie shrugs, "I told you what would happen if you followed me, I was just keeping my word… I'm not Elena, Damon. I'm going to hold you accountable even if we're friends now."
"So, we're friends then?" Damon asks wiggling his eyebrows.
"Don't make me regret this," Bonnie sighs.
"Come on, let your extremely handsome friend buy you dinner," Damon says holding his hand out to her. She rolls her eyes and takes his hand, letting him lead her out to his car.
"So, I was thinking we could go shopping tomorrow morning after your appointment?" Stefan asks.
"That sounds great," Katherine says before noticing the sneaky smile on his face, "I'm guessing Caroline is coming with a complete list of everything we need to get and the best brands to buy, huh?"
"Are you disappointed?" Stefan asks nervously.
"Nah, Caroline's cool," Katherine smiles before wiggling her eyebrows, "Wait if I pretend to be disappointed, does that mean you're going to make it up to me?"
"How would I make it up to you?" Stefan raises his eyebrow.
"I can think of a few ways," Katherine says before sliding her hand into his boxers. Stefan groans as he feels her hands work up and down his length.
"Looks like someone's up," Katherine smirks.
"He's always up for you," Stefan whispers in her ear. He slides his pants and boxers off. Then he takes off his shirt while she makes quick work of discarding her clothes onto the floor.
He climbs on top of her and starts kissing her neck. "No more waiting," Katherine demands, "I want you now." Stefan smirks before thrusting inside of her. She gasps, feeling all of him inside of her.
"God, Katherine, you're so fucking wet."
"Only for you, Stefan," Katherine replies before biting her lip.
He starts moving in and out of her slowly. "Stop teasing me," Katherine growls.
"As you wish," Stefan responds before thrusting in and out of her faster and harder. She cries out his name as he makes her cum, but he doesn't stop. He keeps pounding into her until she's crying out his name again. He fills her up before slowly pulling out of her and collapsing onto the pillow next to her.
"I think I may never move again," Katherine says, completely out of breath.
"That's too bad," Stefan says softly squeezing her breast before letting his fingers trail down her body, "Because I'm not done with you yet."
He plunges his fingers inside of her and she moans. He moves them in a rhythmic fashion and watches her hips buck up, taking his fingers further in.
"Fuck, Stefan," Katherine says breathlessly. She cums all over his fingers. He brings his fingers to his mouth and sticks them in.
"You taste so fucking good," Stefan whispers in her ear, "I think I should have you for breakfast in the morning."
Katherine wakes up to an empty bed in the morning and frowns before noticing a piece of paper. "Change of plans, the appointment got moved to earlier. Went to pick up some stuff. I'll meet you at the doctor, Nadia is coming to pick you up. We'll go shopping after. There's breakfast downstairs ? – Stefan," Katherine reads the words on the paper.
She has a quick shower and heads downstairs to eat breakfast.
"Hey Kat," Jeremy says when he walks, "What are you doing today?"
"I have an appointment to see the baby today," Katherine smiles.
"Really?" Jeremy asks excitedly.
"Yeah… would you want to come? I mean Stefan has Caroline there which is basically his family and I know it might be a little weird because Bonnie is coming to check things from the magic side and you guys just broke up, but I figured maybe you could come as my family," Katherine rants. Jeremy's eyes widen and she shrinks.
"I mean you totally don't have to…" Katherine scratches the back of her neck awkwardly, "Nadia will be there so it's fine."
"No," Jeremy objects, "I totally want to come."
"Really?" Katherine asks surprised.
"Yeah…" Jeremy says before confessing, "I was just surprised, that's all. No one really invited me to anything because I was just Elena's little brother… It only changed when I started dating Bonnie so I figured that would all go away since we broke up."
"Outsider looking in… I can totally relate," Katherine laughs, "Nadia's coming to pick me up in a few minutes. Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah," Jeremy smiles.
Five minutes later, Nadia walks in. "You ready to go?"
"Yes, we are," Katherine smiles.
"We?" Nadia asks, raising her eyebrow.
"Yes, we," Jeremy says standing beside Katherine. Nadia looks at them curiously before shrugging. They all walk to the car and Nadia drives them to the hospital.
They arrive at the hospital and a woman walks towards them. "You must be Katherine." She smiles warmly before continuing. "I'm Doctor Meredith Fell. Stefan's waiting for you. You guys can follow me."
They follow her and leads them to a secluded part of the hospital. "I know it's a little creepy here, but it decreases the chances of anyone walking on us and your friend Bonnie worked some magic on the room. Here we are." She gestures for them to head inside.
"Hey," Stefan smiles at Katherine.
"Hi," Katherine smiles back.
"Katherine, you need to get up onto that bed," Meredith instructs her, and she nods before lying down on the bed.
"Uggh," Damon says as he walks in, "Not even bourbon can fix the coffee here." He tosses the cup into the garbage and Bonnie smiles at the expression on his face.
"Damon…" Stefan asks surprised, "What are you doing here?"
"Come on brother. You didn't think I was going to miss finding out if I'm having a nephew or niece, did you?" Damon says, patting his brother on the back. Stefan smiles while thinking, 'Well if you were still dating Elena, you would have been too consumed with her to notice.'
"Kitty Kat," Damon teases her, "You're getting fat." Stefan half expects Katherine to leap off the bed and tackle him.
"I could say the same," Katherine retorts teasingly, "But I'm pregnant, what's your excuse?"
"Haha," Damon rolls his eyes playfully and she smiles at him. Stefan watches their interaction, wondering what happened in the time he left them alone.
"Okay so I'm going to do the doctor stuff and Bonnie will use her magic to keep the baby from shorting out any of the equipment. When I put this jelly on your belly, it may feel a little cold," Meredith explains. Katherine nods and Meredith starts the scan.
"Okay here we go… See that," Meredith points to the screen, "That's your baby." Everyone squints their eyes trying to see it.
"Oh my god, I see it!" Caroline announces excitedly.
"Me too!" Katherine says a few moments later. Stefan smiles at their excitement.
"Print a picture for us, will you?"
Meredith nods and starts printing the picture. She hands it over to him with some copies. "Stefan has my number and you're both free to message with any questions you may have." Katherine shoots her grateful look and Meredith starts leaving the room when Damon stops her.
"So, is it a boy or a girl?" Damon asks.
"You can only find that out after three months. Don't you know anything about babies?" Bonnie rolls her eyes.
"I'm a vampire, Bon," Damon chuckles, "I don't really have to worry about getting anyone pregnant."
"Stefan did," Bonnie points out.
"Yeah, well I'm no doppelganger," Damon smirks.
"Thank god for that," Bonnie teases him, "I don't think the world needs another Damon Salvatore."
He clutches his heart playfully and says, "I'm hurt Bon-Bon." Bonnie giggles while Jeremy watches their exchange with a raised eyebrow.
Author's Note: I know this chapter was kind of short but the next one is longer, don't worry :). Let me know what you guys thought of this, especially about the progression of Bamon ;).
