"He knew eight days was too long to be stuck in the same place", Amy says smugly, as Jake rests his head on his desk. "How you going, Pineapples?"
He regrets ever telling her his grandmother's nickname for him.
"I could have done it with some of the squad", he mumbles. "I know he's my best friend, but I couldn't handle his weird food and lady style towels".
"What?" she giggles.
He didn't want to name names, but he definitely could have done an eight day shift with Amy Santiago.
