Broken Trust

It's been a month or three since the events of tri has happened and the older DD and younger can be seen talking and having a good time. Tai sees his team and the younger DD bonding and having a great time. Tai then spots Daisuke away from the group a distance. Tai calls over Daisuke and asks if there was something wrong Daisuke just said no and started to walk away. Tai reaches out and grabs Daisuke's shoulder and Daisuke turns around and violently throws Tai's hand away from him.
This shocked Tai and what Shocked him the most was the pure hatred that was in Daisuke's eyes. This made Tai take a few steps back. From the corner of Sora saw what happened and started making her way to the duo. When Sora left the rest of the DD saw where she was going and saw that Tai and Daisuke were having some sorta of stare down. Daisuke sees everyone coming their way. He puts his hands in his pockets and then starts to walk away. When everyone approached Tai they asked what happened Tai just shrugged and said I don't know, maybe Daisuke is having a bad day.
Everyone just shrugged and decided to go back to having a good time. Daisuke walked down the streets with an empty look on his face. His eyes that were once filled with hope, determination and light, were now filled with anger, hatred and betrayal. Daisuke took out his phone and looked at the email he had gotten a month ago. In the email it had told him, if he wanted to learn the truth of why the older DD took so long to recuse them then to look at the file that was attached to it this email at home on his laptop.
So Daisuke did, he spent the last few weeks watching the videos that were sent to him via email. Each and everyone of them from the beginning and lead up to the tri adventure to the ending of it. Not once did the older DD even mention them, it wasn't until Tai accidentally found them. That the older DD realized that they had been missing. Daisuke rewatch the videos over and over countless nights, hoping he missed something, but he didn't. From when they went missing to the beginning of tri until they were accidentally discovered, not once did the older DD realize they have been missing.
Daisuke just sighed, took out his headphones and counted them to his phone and played his music -linkin park runaway- started to play. Daiuske just walked the empty streets of Odaiba. Think and look for answers he knows he would never get if he didn't ask Tai or the other DD. Daisuke looked up at the sky wondering if the older DD really were his friend or if they cared for them.
Daisuke then knew what he had to do. Daisuke decided to just go home and lay in his bed. This past couple of weeks have been very tiring. As Disuke was walking home he felt his phone vibrate and took it out to see he had gotten a text from Kari. The texts asking if he was okay. Daisuke left as read and didn't reply and put his phone back in his pocket, knowing that she also didn't care or was worried about him, her Dna partner or the rest of his team left a bad taste in his mouth.
After a couple of minutes went by without a reply from Daisuke, Kari sent another text and like before it was left on read. Yolie saw the worried look on her Dna partner's face and went to her to ask her what was wrong. Yolie told Kari not to worry, that after what happened he probably went to be left alone maybe due to stress of High school being right around the corner. Kari nodded sadly, then put on a smile and told her she was probably right, since Daisuke didn't like school that much this got them giggling.
Back with the old DD Matt and Sora asked if everything was okay with Daisuke. Tai nodded and told them not to worry, but Sora knew something was wrong. When she looked at Daisuke's eyes before he left, she knew he was hurting. The question on her mind was who could have hurt Daisuke that badly. As the DD of love she would tell no not tell, she could feel that the love in Daisuke was almost completely gone. Sora looked at Matt and he too looked worried for the 02 DD leader. He can also tell that Daisuke has lost the trust of friendship of the DD, but he like Sora couldn't think of a reason why this was happening.
Daisuke has gotten home, only to find it empty. He sighs knowing his parents were most likely working over night s again, while his sister was out with her friends. Daisuke just goes to his room and takes off his shoes and falls onto his bed. Headphones are still connected, as he listens to his music, still thinking about what he has to do and soon. He couldnt continue faking being happy and keep faking that he considers them all friends. Don't get him wrong, his team still considers them Family , hell he considers them all family, but after the events and proof that the older DD didn't even notice that they were gone or care that they were missing. He knew he had to make changes.
Daisuke gets up and heads to his desk and opens up his Laptop and then goes to his emails, deciding to review the videos one final time before making his decision. Even tho knowing what he was about to see and watch. He had to, one more time to leave no doubt in his decision. So he spends the whole weekend, reviewing looking so hard to find something or someone talking about them even once, but no nothing. Daisuke just couldn't handle it anymore, Daisuke just breaks down thinking about all the times they help rescue and protect their Digimon and the Digital world, but when they need them the most, the older DD didn't do anything and even forgot they existed.
Daisuke's breakdown caused a little blue Digimon to pop his head of Daisuke's dirty laundry basket. Demiveemon asked his partener what was wrong. Daisuke just grabbed him and held him close to his chest while he continued to cry. Demiveemon just snuggled his partner and stayed silent, letting him cry out his pain sadness and sorrowness alway. By the time Daisuke was done crying he was knocked out sleeping on his desk. Demiveemon went up the desk and checked on his partner. Demiveemon can see that Daisuke's cheeks were stained due to the hours he spent crying. Demiveemon cuddled next to Daisuke's face.
The next morning was a Monday and we could hear the alarm going off. Daisuke wakes up and sees that it is time to get ready for school. He picks himself up and drags himself to the shower washes up and then gets ready for school. His mom was making breakfast and he sat down eating his food in silence. His father asked his son If there is something wrong Daisuke just tells him he's tired cause he didn't get much sleep. His parents just nodds but both looked at each other with a worried look. Daisuke finished up his breakfast and then got his bag and left for school. On his walk to school Daisuke decided to not talk or interact with any of the DD.
So he used the back entrance of the school and was almost late to every class he had with the DD as some of them are grouped and joint classes. As for lunch Daisuke spent that time on the roof of the school. All day he was avoiding them and they didn't think of anything of it. Daisuke got home and went straight to his Laptop and started to send emails to the DD that he was calling a meeting on Friday at the old computer room where he and his team first started,telling them it was a very important meeting and that everyone and he meant everyone has to be there. He hit send and waited for them to all reply
As he waited he started to work on the videos and a power point. A timeline and so on and so forth. As he was working, he got a few recipes from the DD telling him that they will be there. Daisuke saw that they all said they would be there and continued his work. Daisuke would continue to ignore them and avoid them. Daisuke would get his school work and homework done at school, so he would have no distractions and work on his main project. As the week goes by the DD grows more worried for Daisuke. They see him at school but he does everything he can to keep away from them.
Kari and a few of the other DD have been sending Daisuke messages, they know he reads them but he never replies to them for the exception of Yolie, Ken and Cody. So they tell them that Daisuke tells them that he's fine. As Friday rolled around they try to catch Daisuke to talk to him before the meeting, but Daisuke did his best to avoid them. This got everyone frustrated and when it was time for the meeting after school. They all met up at the old computer room.
The DD felt nostalgic being back in here after so long. They saw Daisuke walk in with a projector and his laptop. Daisuke told everyone to find a seat and that he'll be done in a few moments. Daisuke asked where Joe was and as if on cue, he walked in sweaty and out of breath. Daisuke just said never mind and continued to set up everything. When he was done, Daisuke got everyone's attention. They all stop their chatter and then set their attention to Daisuke. Daisuke opens up the powerpoint and then another window with videos already loaded.
Daisuke then starts with when his team got a distress signal from the Digital world and then being captured by Yggrdras, from there he shows videos of the DD the events of Tri. At the end of the videos Matt spoke up and asked what the points of this Daiske tells him he's getting to the point. Matt just mumbled and Daisuke continued. Daisuke then brought up the timeline. The timeline started on the day that the younger DD were captured and then continued from when Tai "discovered" and or "found" the younger DD. This confused everyone as to why did it stop there since that wasn't when the adventure ended.
Daisuke looks down and then with hurtful and the most broken look any of them has seen. Daisuke looked up and asked them the most with a shaky and broken voice, he asked them "Why didn't any of you look for us, when we disappeared?" None of the DD said a thing and then Sora asked what he meant. Daisuke started to explain about the videos that was sent to him, and explain that in every video from the when they were captured to when Tai accidentally found them, they never once talk question or messaged Yolie Ken Cody or him to make sure they were okay or wonder why they weren't in school for over a month or so.
This turn of event shocked all of the DD, Tai shocked at what was happening and gave a very nervous chuckle. Daisuke slammed his hand and the desk in front of him. This shocked and startled the DD. Daisuke yelling "Do you think this is a joke?" Tai looks away and shakes his head no. Daisuke continues, So?! What's your excuse for leaving Yolie,Ken, Cody and I in that hell hole?. Tai and the rest of his time looked down in shame and wondering why they didn't notice that younger DD were missing, or why they didn't message them or check up on them.
Tai just looked at Daisuke and then at the other younger DD who was ishock that the older DD didn't look at them or even noticed they were looked at Kari asking not begging her to tell her that any of this wasn't true. Kari looked down in utter shame, Yolie was trying very hard to hold her tears. Cody looked at T.K giving him please tell me you did something. T.K like Kari looked down in utter shame. Ken just got up and walked out of the room. Cody was the next to go, then Yolie got up and was about but Kari got up and begged her to not go. Yolie looked at Kari with tears in her eyes, opened the door and left.
The older DD were shocked that they just lost the Younger DD. Daisuke looked at the older DD and then at the broken Kari. Daisuke closed his laptop and turned off the projector, disconnecting everything from his Laptop. Daisuke picks up his things and goes to leave but before he does, he grabs the goggles that Tai gave him on their first adventure to the Digital world and takes them off. The older DD gasped, while Kari whispered "please not you too." Daisuke places them on the front desk and leaves them there. He then looks at the DD with a heart broken look and then leaves.
The older DD held their head down in shame not knowing what to do to start and fix this miss that they have made. Kari just asked the same question that was on everyone's mind. Why didn't they notice or go look for their brothers and sister in arms. Kari asked out loud to no one, "why didn't we do anything to find them, why don't we notice that they were gone? Why? Why? why?!. " No one answered her, Sora went to comfort Kari while she broke down. Tai just walked to the desk where Daisuke had left the goggles of leadership.
He pickles them off and then yells and throws them to the wall angrily. The lens of the goggles crack at the impact. Tai was breathing heavily and angrily. Not angry at the younger DD but at himself. Tai sighed and went to pick up his old pair of goggles. Disgusted with his lack of action to try and find his other teammates. Tai just looked at the cracked goggles, and was gonna put them on but stopped himself. He looked at them once more and then told himself, he was no leader. A leader wouldn't forget about his teammates or leaving them out for the enemy to do what they want with them. So Tai puts them on nhis pocket instead.
Tai then looks to his broken down team. He speaks up and tells them its late and that they should all go home and get some rest. That they will talk first thing tomorrow, so they can find a way to fix this. Everyone nodded, Tai can tell everyone was taken this very hard. Especially Kari, T.K, Sora and Matt. The two younger siblings due to being Dna partners Yolie and cody. Sora because she was supposed to be the mother figure of the group. Matt mostly due to his pride of being the DD of friendship and that he has failed his crest. Tai just waited for the DD to pick themselves and slowly made their way home.
No one said a word and when it was time for them to go their separate way to get home, No one said anything they all just left. All in deep thought. They all got home by one, most still in deep thought. While others were on auto pilot. Kari entered her room and just crashed on her bed, Kari then continued to cry again until she fell asleep a few hours later. Tai entered his room, and just sighed. He takes out the goggles and puts them on his desktop. Too tired to do anything he likes his sister crashes on his bed. Tais just looks at the goggles on the desk. Tai just stares at them asking himself " what have we done?" and "Im sorry Daisuke everyone im sorry" before sleep finally catches him.
