Digimon Broken Trust
Chapter 2

Au- I know a lot of you will say that this chapter has a lot of characters being oc, you guys have to remember something. When your anger and or hurt sometimes you have no control of what your body does or say. I've had some fights with friends, and I know I've said and done some things that I still regret to this day, but that's part of growing up and maturing. You learn from the mistakes you make to become a better person, and that's what I'm gonna hope to do in this story is develop the characters from the mistakes they make into hopefully into a better person. Okay, Now that's over let's get to the story.
It's been a full month since Yolie, Ken, Cody and Daisuke have left the group. They no longer call them self DD. Tai and the others DD tried to talk and fix things, but the hurting and betrayal was still fresh in their minds. The tension between them was most noticeable when they were all in school. What was first hurt and betrayal has now turned into a heated confrontation. Matt Tai and T.K believe that they have apologized more than enough time. Sora and Kari were still down in the dump for failing their fellow ex friends. Mimi was helping Sora and Kari come to and get them in better spirits, while Joe and Izzy stayed neutral, knowing that they were in the wrong and that the younger kids will join them again when they were ready.
Fights and arguments have gotten so bad between the two groups that in one fight the teacher had to be called in to break them up. It got so intense to the point where Daisuke was ready to throw fist at Tai Matt and T.K at the same time, because they couldn't get the clue that his team and himself needed time to heal and rebuild the trust that was broken between them. Daisuke was sick of the harassment that his team and himself were getting from them.
One day T.K finally put the feather that broke the camel back. Daisuke and Ken were hanging out and T.K just happened to show up. T.K had an angry look on his face glaring at Daisuke. Ken can see that this wasn't gonna end well. So he taps Daisuke on the shoulder, and tells him that they should probably leave so no fight or argument can break out. Daisuke agreed, being tired of everything that was happening between Tai and his team. They got up and started to walk away until T.K started yelling at them from afar. Both boys sighed and turned around and looked at T.K. TK. " You think you can walk away from me, after all the pain you caused all of our friends".
Ken stayed quiet, while Daisuke had his fist clinch. T.K " You guys broke up the DD, Daisuke you pieces of shit, you hurt Kari, and Ken you're still the same evil person, you keep hurting people, you'll never change, You'll always be the Digimon emperor. I just wish the fake we killed was you.". This made Daisuke see red and launched himself at T.K and tackled him to the ground. Daisuke sits on T.K chest and starts to ground and pound, starting to bloody T.K face, Ken rushes over and struggles to get Daisuke off of T.K. Ken finally manages to get him off of T.K and struggles to hold Daisuke back while taking him out of the indoor mall they were in.
T.K was left there bloody and his anger growing blinding him more, believing that Daisuke and his team were evil for hurting the others, and making both Kari and Sora cry. His best friend and the Mother figure both broken, both feeling they let down Daisuke and his team. Ken was seen running while dragging Daisuke with him. They stopped once, they saw that they were a couple of blocks away from the indoor mall. Daisuke and Ken breathing lightly thanks to them being athletes. They catched their breath and Daisuke looks up to Ken and tells him " I can't do this anymore." Ken asks what he means and Daisuke just looks down at the floor and tells Ken he'll see him tomorrow at school.
Ken wanted to talk to Daisuke but Ken knew his best friend needed space and time to think, because even he can tell that this situation was bad and it was gonna get ever worse before it got anywhere near kinda good. Ken Texted Yolie about what happened today and to be ready for anything on monday then decided to walk home. Daisuke entered the lobby of his apartment complex and decided to get the mail for his apartment.
Daisuke went to this apartment lock box and opened it and got the mail. He takes the elevator to his apartment. Daisuke opens the door, goes in, closes the door and takes off his school and leaves his shoes by the front door. He goes to the livingroom and sorts through the mail putting his parents and sister mail in their pile. When he reached the last letter he was surprised that the letter was for him. Daisuke got up and went to his room. He put the letter on his desk and then changed, Daisuke believed there was no point in wearing pants or shorts in the comfort of his own room. Daisuke pulled his desk chair out and sat down. He grabs the letter and opens it. He reads it " Dear Daisuke Motomiya, We are aware of the same civil war that's going on between your team and the DD. So this may not be the best of time. My organization and I would like to offer your team a job. I can't tell you the details of this job (yet), but if your team and yourself, agree to meet us tomorrow at 10am, we will be waiting. The address to the building is on the card that came along with this letter. We hope to meet you and your team tomorrow in person.
Sincerely The Commander."
Daisuke put down the letter and then checked the envelope to see a card there. Daisuke looked at it Just to see the words DATs with an address in the back. Daisuke looked at his clock to see it was only 8pm and remembered that T.K had caused Ken and his bros night to come to a short and early end. Daisuke sat in his chair looking at the letter and card. Daisuke knew after their last adventure, that his team and himself couldn't go blindly into a trap or an unknown building. Daisuke then decides to make a plan.
It was now 9: 30am, and we see Daisuke walking up to a building that to his surprise looked like a pro business. Daisuke had Cody and Yolie set up by a cafe near the building, while Ken was on the roof top with wormmon ready to digivolve to Stingmon in case things went wrong. Daisuke checked his phone and went through final checks. Ken, Cody and Yolie replied with a check and in position. Daisuke then walked into the building and went to the receptionist/Secretary, Daisuke told them that he had a meeting at 10 with someone called Commander. They then asked for Daisuke's name and they looked it up. They told Daisuke to head to the elevator and told him to take it to the 10th floor.
The elevator took Daisuke to the 10th floor when the doors opened and he was waiting for anything. The doors open and Daisuke walks out to a big office with a person in that office, which Daisuke guessed was the Commander. He looks up and sees Daisuke " Hello Daisuke. I'm Richard Sampson, and I am the commander of this secret organization DATs. I'm happy to see your team and yourself all came to this meeting." Daisuke was confused before Daisuke could ask anything. The Commander snapped his finger and the window in the background began to close and then screens turned on and cameras monitors can be showing Cody Yolie and Ken positions.
This made Daisuke tense seeing as he may have put his team in danger. Before he could do anything The commander turned off the monitors and reopened the window. Daisuke was now glaring at the Commander. The commander laughs lightly and tells Daisuke to calm down that he means no harm to him and his team. Daisuke lightened up a bit but was still aware. Daisuke then asked the commander what he wanted with him and his team. The commander then tells Daisuke that DATs is a secret organization that deals and monitors Didimon that somehow enters their world., and that they want to start a team that can actually be first responders and deal with the digimon instead of waiting for the DD to find out and deal with it, after the digimon has already caused a lot of damages and so many injuries/death.
Daisuke was shocked at what was going on. Daisuke got over his schock quickly and then asked what they meant. The commander went into greater detail about how they operate. Daisuke listens to the commander about how the monitor the digimon and how they work to trick them into a man made digimon Portal, but tells them how this method can go wrong and cause damages and injuries and sometimes even death. Daisuke then asked why they never sent an email to them or any DD.
The commander goes to open his laptop and then opens the emails, then turns the laptop around. Daiuske walks to the laptop and sees the emails. Emails all asking for help, all address to Tai. Over thousands of emails sent to Tai asking for help. Daisuke looked through some of them all with the same reply, Tai replied " Sorry, at the moment we are currently busy with our own lifes and too busy for your lies". Daisuke saw that all of the emails went on even before the events of the Alphamon and betrayal. Daisuke knew for a fact that in some of those dates, that they were hanging out and could have helped and done something to help save lives.
Daisuke fist was clinched in rage and then out of anger slammed his fist on the Commander's desk. The Commander quietly watched the young leader, he knew that the young leader was angry and frustrated. Daisuke pulled out his phone and sent a message to Ken Cody and Yolie that it was safe and that they needed to get in here now. So in the next 15 mins Daisuke explains the situation and what Tai did. The rest of the 02 group were furious at Tai stupidity. Daisuke looks at the commander and tells him to give them the details of this first response time, with his team just as determined to make a difference.
The Commander tells them that they got equipment that can help them detect a Digimon is close to breaking into the real world, and as first responders that they will be there to contain, engage, and terminate the Digimon before it can cause damage or injure or kill anyone. Cody asked what The commander meant by terminating Digimon. The Commander then explains that once the Digimon was terminated that the Digimon will be reverted to a digiegg and from there they will be brought here to HQ where they will open a digital portal where they will send the digiegg back to the primary village. There they would be reborn and start a new life.
The 02 group made a small circle and talked among themselves, but they already knew what everyone's choice was. Daisuke just asked them if they were in and they all nodded at Daisuke agreeing with him. They broke the circle and Daisuke turned around and walked up to the Commander. Daisuke held out his hand and told the Commander that they were in, the Commander took and shook Daisuke's hand and then welcomed him and his team to DATs. The Commander then lets go and goes and sits down on his chair and then gets the attention of the small group. They line up side by side and the Commander tells them in a very serious tone that they weren't DD anymore and that they were now DATs employees and a team that works completely under him they were now team Code Name Tamers.
