Amy slinks into the hospital room, lifting her sunglasses.
"What the hell happened to you?" Jake says in surprise, sitting up.
"Gina and I went drinking", she mumbles, taking a seat at the end of his bed. "How are you feeling?"
"Could be better". He shrugs, offering her his Jell-O cup. "Could be worse. But I want to hear more about your night drinking with Gina. When I picture the squad you are the most unlikely pairing. Its Gina and you, and then you and Hitchcock and Scully. That's the likelihood if you going out drinking with Gina. Don't get me wrong, she's a fun person to go out with. But honestly, the most unlikely pairing".
She takes a bite of Jell-O. "I'm glad you're okay".
"You didn't have to come", he says after a moment, and she meets his eyes.
"I know".
