Kirei Kotomine had no idea what had happened after he was about to summon the assassin class servant.

He had no doubt that he had perfectly recited the summoning ritual, he had done dozens of mock rituals under the supervision of his partner/teacher Tokiomi. Not one thing was different in his ritual now except for the fact that... well, he definitely was not in Fuyuki City anymore. After a sudden flash of light, he had been transported somewhere unknown.

The first thing Kirei could smell was the scent of liquor and steam. His pupils slowly adjusted to the light around him, to notice he was in an asphalt alleyway in between two tall buildings. A dirty bearded man sat at the exit of the alley with a bottle of alcohol in hand.

Kirei approached the man, who lazily acknowledged his presence. He looked American from what he could see.

"Excuse me?" Kirei asked the man in English. He noticed that his voice seemed a bit higher-pitched than he expected it to sound.

"What is it, kid?" The man said, clearly intoxicated.

"It's nothing, my mistake."

Kirei paused hesitantly before speaking once again.

"Where am I?" He asked the man.

"New York City, Manhattan district." Said the drunk.

It was at this point where Kirei felt truly confused.

1 year later. 2005

Kirei was 15 years old again, he had been 28 at the time of the summoning ritual, whatever had transported him to this world had de-aged him, and yet by some miracle, he managed to retain his muscle strength from his prime.

Although it was not like his muscles had much use on this boring field trip, although most things were boring to him, this took the cake. The only thing he knew would bring him joy was... no, best not to think sinful thoughts.

He had ended up in foster care, a rich family. They had 4 other legitimate children, unlike them, Kirei had been enrolled into a troublemakers academy on the upper east side of the state away from the family, after getting into a fight and getting extraordinarily poor grades, which he was only receiving because he was researching everything he could about the world, he was in. He needed to know all he could. Not to mention he already achieved valedictorian once, no point in doing it again.

Yancy academy was a strange place. His class was unremarkable except for one of the Latin teachers, Mr. Brunner. The teacher had replaced his Latin teacher early in the year. Also, one other student stood out to him, Grover Underwood.

The former was a longhaired Latin teacher in a wheelchair. He was a bit odd for a teacher, sometimes showing off greek weaponry on certain days of the year.

The latter, Grover Underwood, was much taller and older, not that he was one to talk. He had always seemed to keep an eye on him, along with the Latin teacher. Almost like they were analyzing him, looking for something. Grover had approached him a couple of times supposedly wanting to be his friend. Perhaps he was just paranoid, however, the look of searching for something within his eyes never changed, so he refused. The boy was sad but unsurprised at his refusal, which unfortunately felt more suspicious.

The weather of new york was quite unusual, very abnormal compared to anything else he had ever seen.

The first thing Kirei tested after arriving was his magic circuits. Luckily, they were just as functional as the day he attempted summoning the assassin class servant. Not to mention he had 20 remaining black keys, all of which he managed to keep on his person at all times.

Today at Yancy academy, the class was on a field trip visiting a museum.

Kirei absentmindedly munched on his sandwich, he had taken an interest in watching Grover being bullied by a redheaded girl half his size. Suddenly, Grover's friend got up from his chair, he stood in front of the girl and the water... pulled her in?

Kirei could hardly believe his eyes. Magecraft? Does the mage's association exist here as well? Kirei silently thought. No, perhaps there is something special about the boy. He rose from his seat and approached the boy next to Grover.

The girl, now in the fountain shouted, "Percy pushed me!"

So Percy is the boy's name?

Mrs. Dodds, the math teacher, approached Percy after helping the girl out of the fountain.

"Now honey, come with me." Said the teacher. Grover looked ready to try and defend Percy but promptly received the evil eye from Mrs. Dodds which silenced him.

Percy, now with a downtrodden look on his face followed the teacher out of the courtyard and to the museum.

Kirei, looking around to be sure he was unseen, silently followed the two of them.

By the time he caught up with the two of them, he saw something very unusual.

Mrs. Dodds was now a hideous abomination, and Percy had a bronze sword in his hand.

Kirei, knowing if the child were to die, it would be troublesome for him.

He entered the battle by kicking off the ground with his moving stance of Bajiquan, which in practice hides the speed of his approach. Allowing him to cover lots of ground efficiently in combat. Seeing that he had reached optimum Bajiquan distance he attacked with the technique 'Eight Postures Of The Buddha Guards', a move of super Bajiqaun, a style he invented which combined Magecraft and the Chinese martial art, that was designed to crush the lungs and heart of anyone on the receiving end of the attack.

He slammed his foot against the ground as he stepped forward, causing fissures to form below the foot, and released a heavy punch to the torso of the taloned abomination once called Mrs. Dodds. The beast did not even have time to react to his movement and attack.

The beast was knocked back into the museum wall leaving a crater from the impact. The creature expelled golden blood from its mouth.

Kirei glanced at Percy, who had a look of shock plastered across his face. Kirei could not blame him for being that way, after all, Kirei had oppressive empty eyes and an intimidating air about him. Also, he was six feet tall at least which only added to his intimidation factor.

"It's up to you to finish the job." Said Kirei. He turned his back and walked away. The near inaudible, yet distinctive slice of a sword could be heard through the air behind him, promptly followed by a brief scream of agony.

Feel free to leave a review, this fic will be following the events of the first book in Percy Jackson and the Olympians, at least for now.
