After classes were done for the day, the Defender Rangers headed down to the lab to see Lonnie already there and looking around frantically for something.

"What's wrong, Lonnie?" Mal asked.

"I can't find it." Lonnie said over and over.

"Find what?" Evie asked.

"My dragon locket. I always have it on me but now I can't find it."

The Rangers set to helping their teammate and friend look for the locket. Mal, Evie, Dizzy, and Freddie checked the Zord bay, Carlos, Jane, Audrey, and Ben checked the garage where the Defender Cycles were while the others stayed in the lab itself. Jay soon noticed the locket and lifted his wristwatch.

"I found it." He told the others, effectively calling off the search. He then opened the locket and noticed it was a picture of two girls, one of whom he immediately recognized as Lonnie.

"Jay, you are such a lifesaver." Lonnie said as she and the others walked to him.

He handed the locket back to her. "Who's that other girl in the picture?" He asked.

Lonnie's eyes turned to the floor. "My older twin sister, Mia." She answered then left the base.

Mal, Evie, Jay, Carlos, the Facilier twins, and Dizzy looked surprised and turned to the other AKs.

"Lonnie has a sister?" Mal asked.

"How come we never knew that?" Evie asked.

"And how come we've never met her?" Dizzy asked.

The AKs looked at each other then the VKs.

"Mia disappeared when they were babies." Ben explained. "It's a hard subject for Lonnie to talk about."

The VKs felt bad for Lonnie and looked at the direction their friend left in.

Lonnie was by the tourney field to try and clear her head, only to be blasted to her back. She groaned and sat up to see Khai Yu walking up to her.

"What do you want, Khai Yu?" She asked.

"Uma wants you goodie goods gone." Khai Yu replied.

Lonnie stood up. "Why help her?"

"Beats helping my 'father'. Actually, he's not even my father. He just took me in."

She shook her head as the two then morphed.

"Tiger Dagger!" Lonnie said.

"Ptera Saber!" Khai Yu said.

The two charged at each other and Lonnie did a roll to avoid Khai Yu's initial attack then delivered a roundhouse kick to her opponent. Khai Yu blocked it then swung her saber again, only for Lonnie to block it with her dagger. The two soon kicked each other back a little bit then charge each other, their weapons hitting then their weapons landed on each other's left shoulder and the two slashed and rolled back a bit.

"Alright, I'm done with this." Lonnie said. "Call to the beast inside! Unleash the Tiger!" She shouted, her Tiger spirit attacking Khai Yu and sending her flying a little bit.

The Dark Ranger quickly recovered and smirked under her helmet. "I've got a little surprise for you, Yellow Ranger." She said. "Call to the beast inside! Let loose the Jaguar!" She shouted and her own animal spirit, an Onyx Jaguar, attacked Lonnie.

The Defender Ranger was flown backwards a ways and demorphed as a result, her locket dropped from her hand as a result.

Khai Yu smirked as she advanced on Lonnie. She noticed the locket and froze before she reached to pick it up and demorphed then looked at Lonnie. "Where did you get this?" She asked.

"My parents gave me that, now give it back!" Lonnie answered as she got back to her feet, ready to fight again.

Khai Yu slowly reached into her jacket and pulled out a matching locket, much to Lonnie's surprise as she takes hers back. They open their lockers to see the have the same picture of Lonnie and Mia as babies.

Lonnie looks at Khai Yu stunned. "Mia..." She said as she took the latter's hand. "Shan Yu didn't take you in. He stole you from your real family. Your real home."

Khai Yu looked shocked before pulling her hand away. "No... You're lying!" She said then ran off.

"Mia, wait!" Lonnie called, but Khai Yu kept running.

Meanwhile, on the Isle, Maleficent used her dark magic to create a dragon like monster.

"I am Dark Flame. What would you have your monster do, Maleficent?" The creature asked.

"Lead my Goblins and attack Auradon City!" The evil fairy said as a portal opened and Dark Flame led the Goblins into the city.

Back at the base, Lonnie returned but sat alone quietly, both confusing and worrying her teammates. Before they could ask what was wrong, however, the alarm rang out and the Rangers saw Dark Flame and the Goblins attacking the city.

"We can't let my mother's latest freak trash the city." Mal said. "Let's Ranger up."

The others nodded then summoned their Morphers and morphed before riding their Defender Cycles into the city.

When they arrived, Dark Flame blasted Lonnie away from the others, leaving them to handle the Goblins while Lonnie fought the monster one on one.

Nearby the unmorphed Dark Rangers were watching the fight.

"We fight the winner." Uma smirked. The others agreed, with the exception of Khai Yu, who was conflicted about the fact that the Ranger she'd fought more than the others was her sister. She soon looked up and saw Lonnie demorphed by Dark Flame. Even from where they were, Khai Yu saw Dark Flame smiling with triumph as he prepared to finish her.

"Lonnie..." She said then something in her changed. "NOOOO!" She screamed then ran to Lonnie's defense and kicked Dark Flame away. "Don't you dare hurt my sister!" She shouted, surprising the other Rangers on both teams.

Lonnie stood up. "Mia..." She said with a smile as Khai Yu turned to her.

"Let's pull out this guy's scales together." She said.

Lonnie nodded then summoned her Morpher. "Defender Ranger, Power Up! Ha!" She said.

"Dark Ranger, Dino Power!" Khai Yu said.

The newly reunited sisters readied their weapons and fought Dark Flame. They slashed him twice, then a third time, causing the monster to groan.

"Miserable brats!" He said.

"Let's finish this." Lonnie said.

"On it." Khai Yu said.

"Call to the beast inside! Unleash the Tiger!" Lonnie said, attacking with her Tiger spirit.

"Call to the beast inside! Let loose the Jaguar!" Khai Yu said, attacking with her Jaguar spirit.

The combined attack was enough to destroy Dark Flame.

A portal opened and a Growth Potion fell through it and caused Dark Flame to grow.

"I've got this, Lonnie." Khai Yu said.

"No, Mia. We've got this." Lonnie said.

Khai Yu nodded then the sisters summoned and boarded their Zords. Lonnie's Zord slashed Dark Flame while Khai Yu's Zord blasted him.

"...What if we combined our Zords?" Lonnie suggested.

"Let's try it." Khai Yu said.

"Zords combine!" The two said in unison.

The Ptera Zord switched to it's fighter mode and the Tiger Zord attached on the left arm, the mouth opening to reveal a clawed hand.

"Let's slay this dragon!" Lonnie said.

"With pleasure." Khai Yu said. "Ptera Slash!"

The Ptera Megazord slashed Dark Flame with its right arm's wing.

"Tiger Strike!" Lonnie said then the Megazord slashed with Lonnie's Zord.

"Is that all you foolish girls have got?" Dark Flame foolishly dared.

"You're going to wish you didn't ask for more." Khai Yu said.

"Because this ends now!" Lonnie added.

"Ptera Megazord! Fireball Final Blast!" The sisters said in unison and the Ptera Zord's mouth opened and shot off a large fireball that hit Dark Flame.

"I'm really feeling the burn!" The monster said as he was destroyed.

"Defender Rangers, Auradon is safe!" The twins said then exited the Zords.

They then looked at each other as they demorphed. The others gathered around them.

"Mia, come home with me. Mom and Dad miss you." Lonnie said. "I miss you."

Khai Yu looked at her Morpher before she took it off and threw it to Uma. She then turned to her sister. "I'd love to...but I can't yet. I have a lot to process and I have to do that alone." She said then slowly hugged Lonnie, who hugged back. When they pulled away, Mia smiled softly. "I'll see you around...sis." She said before dropping a smoke bomb.

When the smoke cleared, Mia was gone.

"Don't think we're giving you a pass, Mal. We'll find a replacement for her then we'll fight you again." Uma said as she and her teammates walked away while the Defender Rangers headed to the base.

When they arrived, Fairy Godmother looked at them.

"Ah, Lonnie." She said then held up a note. "This was left for you."

Though confused, Lonnie walked a little ways away with the note while Fairy Godmother headed upstairs to her office. Lonnie then silently began to read the note.

"Lonnie, I wanted to tell you one last thing, but not in front of the others. Even though it came a bit too fast, I wanted to thank for opening my eyes to the truth. When I come back, I'll help end this fight. On my honor, I'll keep my word.

Lonnie smiled as she finished reading it.

"Lonnie? You gonna be okay?" Mal asked.

The Yellow Ranger looked at her leader with tears of joy in her eyes and a smile on her face. "I will be." She said.

In her office, Fairy Godmother started working on plans for a new Morpher with an Onyx color that resembled a Jaguar, as well as a matching Zord.
