"Where did that motherfucker go?!" Hera muttered.
"Tell me about it. He vanished like a ghost." Ares responded.
They had located the Michael Myers wanna-be as he walked into an abandoned warehouse. Following him in, he had somehow eluded them. They drew their short swords.
"I'm starting to almost think this tricky asshole is Michael Myers." Bellona said.
"I would say that seems impossible, but we are on a Hellmouth." Giles said.
Before a reply could be made, they were attacked!
But not by their quarry.
A huge man in a hockey mask lunged at them out of the shadows, raising a machete!
Dodging the attack, Bellona and Hera lashed out with punches sending their assailant backwards! He fell onto a stack of wooden crates, shattering them. However he immediately arose and continued the assault.
"Who do you think you are, fucking Jason Voorhees?!" Bellona snarled.
The masked man paused suddenly, lowered his blade and cocked his head at Bellona. Then he returned his head back to normal and swung his weapon violently at them with savage slashes. Bellona and Hera parried his blows.
As Ares, Neil, and Giles maneuvered to outflank their attacker, Giles screamed in pain. Ares and Neil whirled to see the guy they had been tracking stab Giles viciously in the shoulder with a large butcher knife! Before he could continue the ambush, Ares popped him in the face with his massive fist, knocking him backwards as Neil helped Giles to safety.
Ares's opponent recomposed himself and counterattacked, swinging his knife ferociously. Ares fended him off with his sword.
"What the fuck?!" Ares shouted.
"I can't believe she said that!" Buffy ranted.
Willow started to answer when she halted in front of the basement door.
"What's wrong?" Buffy asked.
"Do you hear that? It sounds like...moaning." Willow replied.
Both girls looked at the basement door, then at each other.
As they took a cautious step towards it, the door flew open without warning and a black creature sprang onto Buffy!
"BUFFY!" Willow screamed. She ran towards the monster and pulled on its barbed tail. It got off Buffy and tackled her! Buffy tried to get up to intervene but another beast appeared in the doorway and grabbed the startled Slayer! She punched it in its eyeless head but it held on determinedly.
"HELEN!" Willow cried in terror.
The monster hissed maliciously and opened its mouth. A second jaw emerged and aimed itself at Willow's horrified face.
And then it was gone.
Because Helen had arrived and kicked the fucking beastie off of her! Buffy, for her part, had freed herself and delivered a spin kick to her assailant, knocking it to the ground!
More monstrosities arrived from the basement door and turned towards them. They snarled aggressively.
The three women looked at each other, then Helen grabbed Willow and Buffy and Helen (carrying Willow) sprinted for the school exit!
With a collective growl, the monsters initiated a determined pursuit!
Diving to the side just in the nick of time as several energy bolts impacted the area where they had just been, the four of them scattered and sought cover behind various rocks and trees!
"Where's that fire coming from?!" Zeus yelled.
"From up there!" Artemis replied.
All eyes turned to where the redhead indicated, and as they watched, several strange shimmers leapt from the top of the surrounding trees, clearly shifting firing positions. Targeting lasers reactivated and started tracking them. More plasma blasts erupted from their foes.
They returned fire with bullets and arrows!
Xander walked into the school through the entrance doors and found himself grabbed by Buffy as she Helen, and Willow ran through said entrance doors!
"What in-?!" Xander started, then he noticed what was chasing them.
Oh my god...XENOMORPHS?! Xander thought in disbelief.
"They're gaining on us!" Willow screamed in horror.
With a shattering of glass, Bellona and Hera tackled their opponent through the window. As they fell, the three of them separated from each other and crashed to the ground.
Bellona and Hera jumped to their feet and looked around in surprise.
Their enemy (Jason Voorhees?) had vanished.
A door opened behind them, and Giles, Ares, and Neil ran up to them.
"Where the hell is that fucker?!" Hera snarled.
"Fuck if I know!" Bellona responded. The two women turned to look at their companions as they approached,
"We are in a similar dilemma, I fear. Our adversary has also dematerialized." Giles answered the women's unspoken question.
"What is going on?!" Ares wondered.
"I confess I am at a loss. We need to consult my volumes at once." Giles answered.
The others nodded in agreement, and they all departed the area.
"What happened?!" Apollo wondered.
"Not a clue man." Neptune answered.
Their invisible assailants had faded away like ghosts.
"Let's head for Sunnydale High. We need to regroup and get answers." Artemis suggested.
The men agreed, and they left the forest.
"Where the fuck did the Xenomorphs vanish to?!" Helen exclaimed, casting a wary look around.
"Xenomorphs?! You mean those monsters from Aliens?!" Buffy asked in astonishment.
"Yeah! That was them alright. Can this town get any crazier?!" Xander wondered.
"Look! There's Diana, Taryn, and Lilith!" Willow announced, pointing at an approaching car.
The car pulled over and parked, and the aforementioned women got out and approached them. Helen and Buffy put Willow and Xander down as they approached.
"What are you guys doing out here?!" Taryn asked, confused.
"Oh boy, have we got a tale to tell you…" Willow replied.
