Chapter 2 First Night

Sora's POV

One Hour Later

Kairi and I managed to find a store that was open late and we were currently looking at all the futons they had.

"Wow", Kairi started. "There's so many different types. Which one should I get Sora?"

"You can get any one you want", I replied.

"Really", Kairi asked.

"Of course", I replied. "I want to make sure you're comfortable."

Hearing this caused Kairi to look at me in shock.

Then...she smiled.

"Well then", she started. "That makes this futon the first gift I'll ever get from my husband. So I'll make sure to choose very carefully."

Now it was my turn to looked surprised.

But then, I smiled before grabbing Kairi's hand.

She smiled before gripping my hand tighter and pulling me down the aisle.

"Come on", she commanded. "There's more down this way."

One Hour Later

I dropped the bag with the futon in it down on my bedroom floor.

"Man", I started. "I didn't realize that this would be so heavy."

"Thank you for buying it for me", Kairi said.

"Of course", I said. "I want to make sure you're comfortable your first night here."

This made Kairi smile at me.

Then...she unpacked her futon and laid to down on the floor before laying down on it.

"Wow", she started. "Axel was right! This is really comfortable!"

"I'm glad you like it", I stated.

Then...Kairi patted the spot next to her.

"You lie down too Sora", she commanded.

"Can I", I asked.

"Of course", Kairi replied.

So with that, I laid down next to her on the futon.

"You're right", I agreed. "This is very comfortable."

Saying this caused Kairi to smile.

Then...she grabbed onto my hand.

I looked at her in shock, and then...smiled back.

"Well", Kairi started as she got up. "We should probably get ready for bed."

Ten Minutes Later

I had changed into my pajamas when Kairi walked in wearing hers.

"Can I turn off the light", she asked.

"Sure", I replied before Kairi turned off the light.

Then...she walked up to me, wrapped her arms around her neck...and kissed me.

"Goodnight", she said. "I love you."

"I love you too."

One Hour Later

I was woken up by the sound of movement.

I opened my eyes...and saw Kairi moving around in her futon.

Guess she's a restless sleeper.

After I thought this to myself... Kairi got out of bed...and walked out of the room?

"Is she sleep walking", I asked.

I got my answer, when I heard the tap run...followed by a gulp.

"She went to go drink water", I said in realization.

Then...Kairi walked back into the room with her eyes still closed.

Then...she walked up to my bed and fell right on top of me before rolling back onto her futon, my sheets still in her hands.

I simply laughed before smiling at her.

"Goodnight", I whispered. "I love you."
