Chapter 10 Kairi's Birthday

Sora's POV

The Next Morning

I opened my eyes, and smiled when I saw Kairi.

I leaned down and kissed her, resulting in her waking up and smiling at me.

"Good morning", she greeted.

"Good morning", I greeted. "Happy birthday."

That Night

Today had been a really fun day.

Kairi and I spent the morning having a big breakfast with our parents.

Then we spent the afternoon with all of our friends at a place called Litwak's Arcade.

Now it was nighttime and I was downstairs getting ready for the surprise I had planned.

I was wearing a faded red, short sleeved v-neck; light blue, knee length, baggy jean shorts; white trainers; a white, short sleeved over shirt that was unbuttoned; my signature necklace and my wedding ring.

"Don't I have a very handsome husband", I heard Kairi say.

Upon hearing this I turned around, and smiled when I saw her.

She was wearing a baby pink, sleeveless, off the shoulder, ankle length dress; beige wedge heels with baby pink straps; her signature necklace and her wedding ring.

Her hair was in it's usual style.

"And I have a very beautiful wife", I said before holding out my hand. "Shall we?"

When I said this, Kairi giggled before grabbing my hand.

"We shall."

Ten Minutes Later

Kairi's POV

Sora and I were now on the other island and he was currently covering my eyes as he led me somewhere.

"Can I look yet", I asked.

"Calm down", Sora commanded. "We're almost there."

Upon hearing this, I pouted, resulting in Sora chuckling.

"What's so funny", I asked.

"Oh nothing", Sora replied. "You're just being really cute right now."

This resulted in me pouting more.

"Okay", Sora said as he suddenly stopped. "Okay. No need to be all pouty any longer. Even if it is cute. We're here."

With that, Sora removed his hands from my eyes.

I opened them, and smiled at what I saw.

Laid out on the beach was a picnic surrounded by lanterns to lighten it up.

"Sora", I started. "Did you do this all for me?"

"Well", Sora started. "Not all of it. My mom helped me with the cooking."

"Of course", I said before kissing Sora on his cheek. "Thank you. I love it."

"Well", Sora started. "I had to make it special. It's your sweet sixteen, I wasn't here during your last birthday, and it's the first time we'll be celebrating one of our birthdays together as a married couple."

One Hour Later

Sora and I had just finished our meal, when he held out a box.

I opened it, and inside was...a lucky charm.

"Sora", I breathed out. "Did you make this?"

"No", Sora admitted. "I tried to, but I couldn't, so I asked Aqua to make one instead.

Upon hearing this, I smiled.

Then...I tackled Sora into a big hug before kissing him.

"Thank you so much", I said. "I love it. And I love you."
