Cypher's Profile #33 (Written by Cameron Junpei with comments from Cypher)
Note: As with the previous profile, this one is a bit different. Instead of looking at one individual, we'll be looking at all the members of SOL Technologies bounty hunter team.
SOL Technologies Bounty Hunter Team Profiles
Profile #1
Online ID: Go Onizuka (Yep. Mr. AI-in-his-brain is first)
Real name: Go Onizuka (Though if the rumors we've heard from SOL are true, he might not have it in his head much longer)
Other aliases: None (Doesn't need them, it seems)
Gender: Male (And much, much skinnier than he used to be)
Age: 19 (Didn't look it though; he looked like a old man, all skin and bones)
Deck: Dinowrestler (After everything that happened, I think I dislike Dinosaurs)
Ace Monster(s): Dinowrestler King T Wrextle (Though he has a Link-4 now; Emperor T Wrextle)
Skill: Anti-Skill (negates a Skill and lets him draw 2 cards. Having this Skill means everyone who faces him has to avoid using their own Skill)
Activity History: Former #1 Charisma Duelist, current SOL bounty hunter (Though if what we've heard is true, that might change)
Win-Loss Ratio: 75% (Went down thanks to Galahad)
Skill Level: A (And he proved it in his duels with Galahad and Earth)
Current Status: Comatose (Morningstar and I found a report that after he was logged out, Go Onizuka was taken to SOL's infirmary. That AI chip has put a lot of pressure on his brain, and at this point, they don't know if he'll wake up. Despite what's done aside, I don't want him to die; in many ways, he's just a victim of this war)
Profile #2
Online ID: Blood Shepherd (I still have no idea just what this name means. He might have just chosen it to be edgy)
Real name: Kengo Dojun (We finally have his real name, thanks to Ghost Girl)
Other aliases: The Shepherd, the Hunter (Found these names on a forum. The Shepherd sounds cooler, like a title)
Gender: Male (A rather secretive one, too)
Age: 28 (Ghost Girl confirmed that he is in fact, 28 years old)
Deck: Drone (Machine monsters that combine effect damage and direct attacks while also punishing Link Monsters. He also has a habit of analyzing opponents and looking for ways to counter them)
Ace Monster(s): Battledrone General, Commandrone Double Sniper (The former is a Link-3 monster, the latter is a Synchro Monster)
Skill: Drone Craft Force (The opponent's monster loses 200 ATK for each "Drone" card in Blood Shepherd's GY, then one of his monsters gains the same amount of ATK)
Activity History: 5 years' experience, working with various companies and the military (A lot of real-world experience, this guy. Unfortunately, he picked a fight with the wrong opponent)
Win-Loss Ratio: 85% (Lower than before, as a result of his loss to Lightning)
Skill Level: A (He's also the only other bounty hunter at this level)
Current Status: Comatose (He lost to Lightning and had his consciousness data taken. Now he's in the same state as Jin)
Profile #3
Online ID: Techbane (His name actually makes sense)
Real name: Yukaro Saiba (We actually looked up his family history; he's a descendant of the Kaiser)
Other aliases: The Cyber Mechanist (Not a bad title, but it's nowhere near as cool as the Devil of LINK VRAINS)
Gender: Male (Tall too)
Age: 19 (He's the same age as Go Onizuka, but his skills aren't at his level)
Deck: Cyber Dragon (The Deck of the famous Ryo Marufuji)
Ace Monster(s): Cyber Dragon Sieger, Cyber End Dragon (The first is a Link Monster, and the second is a Fusion Monster with 4000 ATK)
Skill: Cyber Strike (If his Level 8 or higher Machine monster inflicts battle damage, it can make a second attack)
Activity History: 2 years' experience as a mid-rank bounty hunter (Morningstar was a bounty hunter for 2 years too, but he went after higher profile targets and made connections with SOL's higher-ups)
Win-Loss Ratio: 50% (Lower than it used to be. Makes sense, considering he's been losing ever since he arrived here)
Skill Level: C (He's not a bad duelist, and his Deck is strong. But he's nowhere near Morningstar's or Playmaker's level)
Current Status: Quit (We got word that he quit his job at SOL. No idea where he is now. Oh well. One less enemy to worry about, right?)
Profile #4
Online ID: Sylphid (Fun fact: A sylphid or sylph is an air spirit invented by Paracelsus)
Real name: Shizuka Midori (She's probably the most emotionless girl I've ever seen. And the shortest)
Other aliases: None (She's new, and while she's skilled, she's lost a lot)
Gender: Female (She's the only girl on SOL's bounty hunter team)
Age: 16 (She's also the youngest, alongside Yoroizaka)
Deck: Dragunity (A Deck of Dragons and Winged Beasts that focus on equipping themselves and Synchro Summoning. It's actually a really good Deck. Sylphid just had bad luck with her opponents)
Ace Monster(s): Dragunity Knight – Gae Bulg, Dragunity Knight – Ascalon (The first is a Level 6 Synchro Monster, the second is a Level 10 Synchro Monster. Both are pretty strong. But Morningstar's Deck is stronger)
Skill: Dragon's Power (When her Dragon monster is attacked, its ATK become equal to its original ATK and gains ATK equal to its Level x 100. A rather tricky Skill)
Activity History: Appeared 1 year ago in Hokkaido. Work for SOL first official job (Not sure what she was doing in Hokkaido though)
Win-Loss Ratio: 0% (Her only duels on record are against Morningstar, Soulburner, and Thaumiel. Her chances for victory were never high)
Skill Level: C (She's lost all of her duels, like Techbane, but she's shown she has skill)
Current Status: Missing (After her duel with Thaumiel, SOL lost all contact with her. She also stopped going to Den Academy. We have no idea what's happened to Shizuka Midori, and neither does SOL. That's… not a good sign)
Profile #5
Online ID: Kenmochi (Like Onizuka and his friend Yoroizaka, his ID is his real name)
Real name: Kenmochi (Still don't know his surname. Oh wait, I forgot; I don't care)
Other aliases: None (He's a newbie, like Sylphid)
Gender: Male (With a magnificent afro)
Age: 17 (He's two years younger than Onizuka)
Deck: Gouki (He and Yoroizaka took Onizuka's old Deck. But he's not as skilled with its use as Onizuka)
Ace Monster(s): Gouki The Blade Ogre (It can make a second attack by Tributing a linked monster. Definitely a battle-oriented monster)
Skill: Gouki Rage (If a Gouki monster attacks and the opponent takes no battle damage, he can inflict effect damage equal to half that Gouki monster's current attack points)
Activity History: 3 months working for SOL as bounty hunter (He joined with Onizuka. Apparently the two of them and Yoroizaka grew up in the same orphanage)
Win-Loss Ratio: 0% (His only opponent we knew of was Galahad, and he's a professional Charisma Duelist who defeated an AI-enhanced Onizuka. And there's his last opponent…)
Skill Level: D (He's not a bad duelist; apparently his strategies against Galahad were decent. It's just that he's not as skilled with the Gouki Deck as Onizuka)
Current Status: Comatose (This was a surprise to find out; apparently while Blood Shepherd dueled Lightning, someone lured Kenmochi and Yoroizaka into a trap and took their consciousness data)
Profile #6
Online ID: Yoroizaka (Onizuka's other bounty hunter friend)
Real name: Yoroizaka (Again, I don't care what his surname is)
Other aliases: None (Again, he hasn't been active long enough to earn a nickname)
Gender: Male (With spiky brown hair)
Age: 16 (The youngest bounty hunter alongside Sylphid)
Deck: Gouki (The same Deck as Kenmochi. Though he uses a more defensive style than Kenmochi)
Ace Monster(s): Gouki The Solid Ogre (This one can't be destroyed when it points to a Gouki monster, and it can move other Gouki monsters to its Link Markers. Definitely a defensive card)
Skill: Fighting Spirit (Onizuka's old Skill; he can Special Summon Gouki monsters that were destroyed by battle the turn it is activated)
Activity History: 3 months working for SOL as bounty hunter (Like Kenmochi, he joined up to fight with Onizuka)
Win-Loss Ratio: 0% (His opponent was Persephone. Apparently he had worse luck than Kenmochi)
Skill Level: D (He knows how to use his Deck, just not as well as Go could)
Current Status: Comatose (Was attacked alongside Kenmochi. We found out they were lured in by an Ignis program, so that means it was most likely Windy who attacked them, since Lightning was busy as the time. Damn pipsqueak)
Cypher's Addendum: As of now, SOL's bounty hunter team is defunct. They don't have anyone to threaten us with. Which means we can focus on dealing with Lightning and Ouroboros now.
