Chapter 13 Date
Sora's POV
The Next Day
I was at the store where Selphie worked.
"I was wondering", she started. "Have you and Kairi been on a date yet?"
"A date", I asked. "I don't think so. Nothing official at least."
"What", Selphie asked. "You've never been on a date with Kairi?! But, you two are married!"
"So", I asked.
"You're hopeless", Selphie stated.
"What do you mean hopeless", I asked.
"You don't know how to be romantic at all", Selphie replied. "Luckily, you have me to help you out."
"Okay then", I started. "Since you're apparently all knowing in this field, tell me, what should I do?"
"Ask Kairi out on a date", Selphie replied.
"Okay", I said. "Got it, But…what do you on a date?"
"You don't know", Selphie asked in disbelief.
"It's not like I've ever been on one before", I replied in defence.
"Okay", Selphie said calming me down. "Okay. Calm down. No need to get all defensive."
"So", I started. "What do you do on a date?"
"Well", Selphie started. "A very basic first date option is to take the girl out to a fancy restaurant."
One Hour Later
I was at home with Kairi.
"Huh", she started in confusion. "You want to take me a fancy restaurant? Why?"
"Well", I started. "I realised that you and I have never been on an official first date."
"Huh", Kairi said in realisation. "You're right. I guess we haven't been on an official first date before."
"Exactly", I said. "And that's why I want to take you to a fancy restaurant!"
"Well", Kairi started. "Okay then! Let's do it!"
"Would you be okay with going on the date tonight", I asked.
"That sounds great", Kairi replied. "But what restaurant will we go to?"
"I was thinking about going to the Bistro."
That Night
I was getting ready for my date with Kairi.
The latter walked into the room, and my heart stopped when I saw her outfit.
She noticed me staring at her, and smiled.
"Do you like my outfit Sora", she asked.
Hearing this caused me to snap out of it.
Then…I smiled before taking Kairi's hands in mine.
"You look beautiful Kairi", I replied. "You always do."
Saying this made Kairi blush.
"Thank you Sora", she said before shaking her head. "Now then, shall we?"

Kairi and I had just arrived at the Bistro.
"Hey guys", Roxas greeted as he walked up to us. "What are guys doing here?"
"We're on our first date", Kairi replied.
"Wait a minute", Xion started. "You guys have never been on a first date before?"
"Nope", I replied.
"But you guys are married", Axel pointed out.
"So", I asked in confusion.
"Whatever", Isa said changing the subject. "In any case, I hope you guys enjoy your dinner."

After the dinner, Kairi and I were walking hand in hand.
"That was a great date", she stated. "I can't wait to go on more dates with you Sora."
