Steve paced around the office. He couldn't stay home, he needed to do something. Victor Hesse had his omega. He looked over at his partner's office. If he'd told Danny from the start, he might have been safe and by his side. If anything happened to him, Steve would be lost.

Kono turned to her cousin. "What can we do Chin?"

"Whatever we have to." He replied.

Tony and Gibbs smiled at each other. Five-0 sounded like them, well at times. It still hurt to think about Ziva and her attitude. She hadn't apologised and didn't seem like she planned too. As a team, they would and had done anything necessary to protect someone they considered family, but that seemed like a lifetime ago, and it some ways it was.

Danny turned and looked at Victor what was going to happen to him? "What are you going to do with me?" Steve just needed some time to find him, and he had to make sure that his partner had just that.

"Nothing, I just want, I need someone to understand where I'm coming from." He'd been told that this man was going to become a dragon, an omega. It's amazing what you find out with money, and if that didn't work threatening someone's life did the trick.

"So why me?"

"I'll tell you everything, but I need to go out and you some tea. You must be feeling awful. I don't want you to suffer. I'll be back soon." Victor walked out before anything else was said.

"What the hell is his plan?" Danny muttered. "Is it because of the whole dragon thing?" It had to be something, and he wasn't an idiot. Hesse had an ulterior motive, but what was it? If only he'd spent more time learning about dragons and his partner.

Victor listened and then smiled, no matter what he told himself he couldn't sense an omega, but Daniel Williams was one and stealing him from McGarrett would be perfect revenge. He could seduce him; it wouldn't be the first time he'd done something like that. The detective was a family man, a decent one from what people said. Victor would tell Anton's story. How the dragons wouldn't aid him and all the horrors that were inflicted upon on his brother, the only family he had. How before all of that he'd been so proud to be a dragon. He'd treat him with respect, pamper him. Everything knew about McGarrett, and their relationship, one of the things was that seemed to be mentioned a lot was that he never seemed to listen to Danny. After all of this, he would have an omega all of his own and Victor would never be alone.

If only they could stay on the island, he'd parade their relationship in front of everyone. It would've been the perfect payback. He didn't want to rush anything, and he usually would do this slowly, but there were time restraints. Once Danny was seduced they would escape. If he were found, then he would be locked away, and that wasn't in his plans.

"Tea, first." He would find out what else Danny liked, the other man would soon be his.

Steve looked up as Gibbs and Tony walked into his office. They shut the door behind them and sat down.

"Tell us what's going on?" Gibbs demanded.

Tony rolled his eyes at the tone. "The more information we have, the better it would be." He paused for a moment "Can I ask why you looked surprised when we last met and I told you that you that you hadn't mated?'

"I'd been seeing Catherine Rollins. I was attracted to her, and I liked her company. She was so determined, and it seemed like she knew that we were meant to be together. I was starting to feel lonely and thought maybe this was it. After I met you, I thought I'd have time to explain that we weren't mated. I hadn't met anyone, so I wasn't in any rush. It wasn't long before hurricane Danny blew into my life."

"I know that feeling." Gibbs smiled at Tony.

"Danny didn't want to be a dragon; he thought that if it happened his daughter would be relegated to second place. I asked Chin to keep an eye on him and make sure that he didn't touch me or any alpha while l was shifted. I wanted time to win him over to show him I loved Gracie too. Victor Hess ruined all of that."

"If Victor Hesse wanted revenge or to kill you why did he take Danny? Does he know about your feelings for your partner?" Tony asked.

"I don't see how I think Chin and Kono know how I felt. I'm not the most subtle of people, and they are investigators."

Gibbs looked around; the two other members wouldn't have said anything "What about Catherine?"

"What about her?" Steve looked at him a little confused.

"Have you separated? Have you been acting differently? How do you act around Danny when she's around?" Gibbs threw out the questions.

"We haven't officially broken up, I kept trying, but Catherine left before that happened. I'm not sure if she knows my feelings towards Danny. Why?"

Tony could see where his mate was going; it was the only thing that made sense. "Do you think Catherine would tell Hesse this?"

"She wouldn't do that," Steve argued.

"Are you sure?" Gibbs pushed.

The former-SEAL shrugged his shoulders "l don', I..."

Tony went to the door and called out. "Chin, Kono, can you come here for a moment."

The cousins walked in. "What do you need?" Chin asked.

"Does Catherine know how Steve feels about Danny?" Tony asked.

Kono opened and closed her mouth. "Yes, I think she does."

"Would she pass that onto Hesse?" The younger agent continued.

Chin didn't want to hurt Steve, but Danny was missing. "The looks she was sending Danny's way, I think she would do it. I mean, she can get the competition out at the way. She would be there to comfort Steve and with nothing, no real evidence leading back to her."

"If only I'd broken up with her before. If she'd never come to Hawaii Danny would be safe."

"It's not your fault; she might have turned up to try to win you back." Gibbs sighed "If she did say anything, then she and Hesse are the only ones to blame."

"I can't... what if I lose him."

Tony placed a hand on his shoulder. "We're going to do everything we can to find Danny and get him back to you."

"You could be right about Cat; I haven't seen her since the accident, no text messages, nothing. It's been radio silence. She isn't someone who'll give up easily. How could she..." His voice faded.

Gibbs cocked his head to the side. "Jim and Blair are here."

They all walked out to meet the new guests.

"Jethro, Tony." Blair walked over and hugged them both, his mate was right behind him and shook their hands.

"It's good to see you both; I'd like you to meet Steve McGarrett, Chin Ho Kelly and Kono Kalakaua." Tony introduced everyone, "and these two are Jim Ellison and Blair Sandburg." It was unlikely they didn't know who the two new visitors were, but it was the polite thing to do. "We have an omega that's been kidnapped."
