Billy slowly drove up to where he had stashed Catherine. He felt like an idiot. Deep down, he still wanted to believe her, but it had to be the truth with Ellison and Sandburg being there. He had to wait for the signal before he could talk to her. It meant the place would be surrounded, and everything would be recorded.
His cell beeped. Billy glanced at the message. It was time to go.

McGarrett and the others headed towards this Jackie guy. The man looked terrified; there was no way he would escape, especially as some of them were alphas.
"We think you can help us?" Steve smirked and held up his badge.
"So, how can I help Five-0?" Jackie asked. His face was now sweating, and it had nothing to do with the heat.
"You can tell us everything you know about Victor Hesse? Where he is?"
"I I I don't know what you're talking about."
Steve looked over at the others. "He realises that we know when he's lying, right? Look, we just want Hesse. We'll let you go this time."
Jackie knew that this was the best offer he could get. He'd heard the stories of Five-0 and what they could get away with.
"I'll give you the coordinates, but…"
"But what?" Tony asked.
"After he found out he could only leave by himself, he was talking about getting shovel. Hesse then asked where would be the best place to bury something."
"Danny." Steve grabbed Jackie by the shoulder and shoved him against the side of a building.
Gibbs just crossed his arms over his chest and smirked. Tony shook his head at his mate and walked over.
"Let him go, Steve. We need to find Danny."
"You're lucky. Send us the coordinates of both places! Steve waited until Jackie had his work number, and as soon as his cell beeped. He checked the information. If this is wrong on anything happens to Danny. You and I will have a serious talk." He turned and then ran towards the vehicles. The only thing on his mind was his mate.

Billy just had to make Catherine talk. It really didn't matter if she didn't, but it would help. He knew it took certain things to make her angry, but all logic and common sense left when she was. She was clearly jealous. Steve wanted Danny and not her. This is what he was going to play on. She used his feelings. Now it was his turn to use hers.

Catherine couldn't believe someone had told Billy those lies. If he didn't have feelings for her, he might have seen that she had no idea what he was talking about. He'd always fallen for whatever he had told her. Billy had always been fun to use as a toy. She wanted to find out who her mysterious saviour was.
She smiled as the door opened. The things he did have was money and contacts. Those were things she desperately needed. She stood to go over and hug him. If he'd gotten things, she liked then Catherine would've kissed him. But the look on Billy's face made her stop. There was something wrong. What had happened? Had he found out the truth? It didn't matter. She could still get what she wanted. After all, he loved her.
"Billy, where is the food?" Catherine did her best to look innocent and confused by everything that's been going on.
He couldn't believe he fell for her lies. It was clear. "'Why didn't you tell me the truth?"
"I did. The only thing I didn't know was about the person who had sent the message."
Billy had made sure that the camera and microphone were working before he walked in. It was time to get her to talk.
"Steve doesn't want you." He smirked.
"He's in love with me. He always has been."
"If he had been, he would be mated with you years ago. You were just a temporary detour until he reached his forever destination."
"You're lying; you're just jealous of what Steve and I have." Her voice started to get higher.
He could see it was starting to work. Her cheeks were flushed with anger. Catherine was clenching her hands as he gripped the material of her trousers.
"If I knew Steve went for men, I would've given him a go. I bet that man could do exciting things will that mouth of his."
"He's not attracted to men, just me, only me." She screamed.
"Well, you might be right about him not liking men at first, but that Danny, I bet he could turn anyone." Billy hadn't actually seen him, but it didn't really matter. It was just to wind her up. "That man would drive anyone to distraction.
"Steve's mine, and when Hesse kills Danny, there will be nothing in our way." Catherine screeched as she ran towards him, going to attack.
Just then, she fell to the floor unconscious.
"Don't they have checks in the navy to see how mentally stable you are? She's one crazy haole." Duke muttered from the window, a tranquilliser gun in his hand.
"Either she hid it really well, or it just came out when she met Steve McGarrett," Billy laughed.
"Well, McGarrett is his own brand of crazy, but not that kind of nuts," Duke replied.
"How did you know how to get to her?"
"One thing I learnt in our time together was that you get her angry, and reason leaves her head. Taunting her about Steve was a good start, but using Danny's name, considering how jealous she is, would push her over the edge. Thanks for shooting before she got no me."
"You're welcome. Let's get her locked up and ready for the Council. I am glad they have their own prisons. It would be a nightmare otherwise."
"Yeah, they don't have many dragons that need to be locked up, but there are some. Maybe she and Hesse could spend quality time together." Billy watched as they came in and sorted out Catherine.
"That's if he survives his meeting with McGarrett," Duke added.
"True, I would hate to think what would happen if he lost Danny," Billy found it hard to believe that Catherine would do something like this. He'd honestly thought he knew her. He was definitely wrong about that.

Victor finally finished the hole. He climbed out of it, walked over to where his water sat and took a long drink. Once it was empty, he threw it on the ground and walked over to his omega.
"I'm sorry about this, Daniel, but I need to escape. I would've preferred if you could come with me, but we don't have much of a choice." He knelt down, leaned over and kissed him. He stood and used the shovel still in his hand to start throwing dirt onto Danny's body. He wouldn't have time to completely bury him. But as soon as he had left the island, he would call McGarrett and tell him. He knew that McGarrett would be concentrated on Danny. It would give him a chance to getaway.

"Thanks, Mike," Steve dropped his cell onto his lap and put his foot onto the accelerator.
"I guess you know where Danny," Jim asked.
"Yep." His mind was on saving his mate.
Jim looked into the back seat and stared at Blair. They hoped Danny would be alive, and they were glad that Tony any Gibbs went after Hesse. Hopefully, they would catch him and have him safely locked away before McGarrett got to him.

Jackie had managed to slow Victor Hesse down. It gave Tony, Gibbs, Chin and Kono a chance to get ahead of him. They were all ready and were hiding before their target arrived.

Victor walked towards the rowboat that would take him out to the ship, which would take him to safety. Something felt off. He didn't know whether it was because
McGarrett would be after his blood once he found his omega dead. The other reason could be because that something was actually wrong and he was in danger.
Just then, a gun was placed against the side of his head.
"It's great to meet you, Mr Hesse. I'm sure you and Lt Rollins will have lots to talk about," Tony laughed.
Gibbs walked in front of him. "You're lucky, do you know that?"
"Why?"
"McGarrett called and told us Detective Williams is going to be fine. They found him in time. They are now heading off so they can mate."
Before Hesse could do anything, he'd been shot by Kono with a tranquiliser.
"It's a shame I couldn't have shot him with a bullet." They'd been lucky that the Council had come up with these. Generally, they lasted long enough to lock them up either in the dragon prison or on cell their way there.
Some had wanted to develop a way to stop them from shifting, but this had been deemed too cruel and thrown out immediately.
Gibbs wished they could do that at times like this, but he'd never actually do it. Dragons were amazing, they were meant to protect, but some were a disgrace. The main thing was that they had found the omega.

Billy walked over to the reinforced cell Catherine was in.
"Come here to gloat, have you?" She sneered. "Happy that you managed to get one over me after all the times I used you."
He just laughed at her. "After this, I'm not going to spend any time thinking about you. Everyone was kind enough to let me tell you the news."
"What news?"
"Well, Hesse has been captured, so you'll probably see him in prison. But the main 'story' is they found Danny, he's alive and well. He and Steve are mating as we speak. Goodbye, Catherine." With that, he turned and away, laughing as she screamed. U

Tony, Gibbs, Jim and Blair all sat on McGarrett's beach and stared out at the ocean.
"I guess we have to be more careful when dragons are dating someone else and find out it's not their mate." Tony sighed. He also hoped that Danny took quickly to becoming an omega. Steve clearly couldn't be happier.
"I guess so. I'd like to come back here just to rest," Blair closed his eyes and tilted his head back. He loved the feel of the sun on his face.
"I'm not a fan of Hawaii myself," Tony looked at the beautiful scenery.
Blair opened his eyes and turned to him. "Why?"
"Senior took me here as a kid and forgot about me. He'd had a business meeting that had gone well, and he had important business meetings in Washington. He had forgotten that he brought me with him."
"I really do hate your dad, and I still want to squish him," Gibbs muttered.
"Well, you scared him off," Tory couldn't help but laugh at the grin Gibbs threw his way.

Danny and Steve lay wrapped up in each other's arms. Danny had become a pale green omega. He and Steve had mated. They were now locked away in Steve's house.
"So this is what you were trying to not tell me," Danny kissed him gently.
"I wasn't expecting to find my mate pretty much as soon as I landed on the island. Everything I said came out wrong."
"Babe, that wasn't the situation. It's just you."
"Thanks, Danno. My heart broke when you said you didn't want to be a dragon. I wanted you to fall for me. I asked Chin to make sure you didn't touch any other alphas in dragon form."
"Yeah, I think that's more out of jealousy. I am where I'm meant to be. I could've just done without the kidnapping and harassment," Danny paused for a moment. "I am sorry about Catherine. I know even with sleeping with each other, you were still friends. I know you had thought about mating with her." He looked down at the bedcovers.
Steve took hold of Danny's chin and tilted it, so they were looking at each other.
"It wasn't that I wanted to. I just thought I should. Catherine was so sure; I thought maybe I was mistaking what I was feeling or that I was broken. I hated why I had to come to Hawaii, but I'm glad I came because I found you. I truly knew what it was like to find your mate. What little feelings I had for Catherine are nothing compared to what I feel for you."
"I love you, Steven."
"I love you too, Daniel. How's Gracie taking it all?"
"She's over the moon. She adores you. Step-Stan is extremely jealous, he's known her longer, but she's always treated you like another dad. He, on the other hand, is just someone her mother married. She's polite, but they don't have a connection like you and Gracie do. Rachel and her family are unbelievably jealous, especially as I met Jim Ellison and Dr Blair Sandburg. Her family never thought much of me. I was never good enough."
"Well, that was their mistake. We need to get to sleep because when we wake up, I am going to tire you out."
Danny whispered, "I hope you do." Before they curled up and went to sleep.
