"Oh boy, Thor's doijg thunder-blasts again, I hope Casey's not too scared as she might come in here.
"Rockie, she's a kit, those thijgs freak them out,myou know?" Lylla said.
It was a few nights later after her visit,mbut Lylla was talkijg to Rocket on GalaxApp but he was noticijg Thor was doing thunder-blasts hearing Casey run in, making Rocket understand, hearing her whimpering, putting her little paws over her furry ears to try and block out the sounds of thunder, making Rocket feel bad, seeing her under his bed.
"Hey it's alright, Thor's just cooling the city down, because of the heatwave, but I get it." he told her.
He then found some of his noise-cancelling earbuds, putting them gently in her ears which was helping her relax, yawning lying on his bed falling asleep,, making Rocket smile kissing her head, smiling unaware that Lylla had watched this, which made her happy as they were meant to be, hanging up as Casey needed him.
"It's okay to be scared, besides uncle Thor can turn it off, like a light switch." he assured her.
After a while, she fell asleep which made Rocket smile, takimg a photo, seeing it was pretty late, falling asleep himself, getting annoyed hearing the alarm on his phone going off, hoping it was not waking her up, since she needed her sleep compared to him relieved she was a deep sleeper, goijg to make himself coffee, to wake himself up mentally.
"Yikes, somebody has major bed-fur goijg on, you sleep okay?" Riley asked.
"Yeah, Casey got freaked out by the storm, so she's asleep in my room." he said.
"If you want a break from playing daddy, Ranger and I can watch her." she told him.
"Lylla and I were planning date-night, so okay." he replied making her smirk.
She was looking forward to watching Casey later, along with Ranger, unaware that Casey had left the compound to go exploring, in Central Park loving the pkayground, until her ears heard somebody needing help, seeing some big kids surrounding a magenta-furred wearing glasses making the female kit annoyed, she hated bullies after being picked on by the other kids on Half-world.
She then became unseen through her cloaking-power, using her other powers to scare the bigger kids off, without laying a paw on them, hearing the magenta-furred girl giggle, asking who had helped her, impressed once Casey appeared.
"Hi there, I'm Casey, why were those kids being mean to you?" she told her.
"Thanks Casey, are you magical like me?" Crystal asked.
"More like super-powered." Casey replied grinning.
Both female youjgsters were hangijg out, talkijg and laughing, getting to know each other, becomijg friends, makijg Casey happy, because she had found a friend like her, hoping her dad, aunt and uncke would be happy, knowing her dad and Lylla were havijg date-night which meant that she would get to hang out with Ranger and Riley grinnijg.
"Do I look okay, for my date with Lylla?" Rocket asked Casey, Ranger and Riley.
It was now early evening and Rocket was getting ready for his daye with Lylla wearing a tux, alomg with takijg a shower which impressed them, plus Casey had not tokd him about Crystal hearing her aunr and uncle assure him, that he looked great relievijg him despite givijg them instructions, but Ranger reassured him, that Casey would be alrightwith them.
"Wow, you made a friend while at Central Park, that's great!" Riley said to her after Rocket left.
"Her name is Crystal, and she's a goblin girl, I just didn't tell daddy yet, he was busy." Casey replied.
She and Ranger understood, as they were ordering Chinese for them, makijg Casey curioys, because she had tried shwarma and lived it, so was excited to try more new food since on Half-world, she just ate pellets makijg them understand but hoped Rocket was havijg fun with Lylla as they were havijg fun here.
