"Wow, your friend expanded dad and Lyllas's apartment with magic, can she do that to uncle Howards's?" Shocket asked Casey.
It was a few weeks later after Lylla and Rocket's honeymoon only Riley had somethijg she and Ranger wanted to show them which made Casey curious and Shocket excited noticijg the apartment was the size of a mansion on the inside which made Rocket chuckle at her thinkijg knowing that askijg Casey's friend, Crystal to do the same to Howard's apartment might not be the best idea, seeing a facial expression on Shocket's furry face indicating a debate until he gave her a warning-glare, which made her drop it.
"Thanks dad, as Crystal had no idea what or how she did it, like with her own uncle's apartment." Casey said, which Rocket got hearing knockijg on their door guessing it was Ranger and Riley seeing Lylla openijg the door seeing it was Ranger and Riley with a kit buryijg her furry face ijto Riley's chest which surprised Shocket despite Casey, Lylla and Rocket impressed seeing Ranger agree.
"Sorry about Kade, she's a bit shy." Ranger told them.
"We're also moving-in here, since you have buttloads of rooms, it was Rockie's idea." Riley said softly sitting on the couch seeing Kade peek out at the newcomers, seeing kits her age which made her smile a little relieving Ranger because Kade had Aspergers, she was shy which they understood, introducing her to Casey and Shocket only Shocket was texting Linda, because her soulmate was doing somethijg fun with Howard, while she had to hang out with some new kit, her awesome aunt and uncle had adopted.
"How come she has a flat nose, when dad and uncle Ranger don't?" Casey asked.
"It's Nature, and how you tell females from males of our species." Riley said.
"Ohhhhh that's cool." Casey replied making Rocket smirk.
He was deciding to do something with Shocket knowing she was not sure about Kade which was alright with him seeing Shocket happy to leave the apartment making Ranger and Riley exchange a look hearing Lylla explain that Shocket took her time with new people and kids seeing Casey showing Kade around their huge apartment, which made them happy that Casey was being sweet.
"We just have to keep trying with Shocket when it comes to social stuff." Lylla said.
"Ready to do this and not tell your mom?" Rocket said.
He and Shocket were at Avengers Campus so had given Shocket her own rocket-pack which made her excitable to her dad's delight saying he had to teach her to use it but only when he was with her, hoping Lylla would not get mad at him training her to one day inherit his hero mantle seeing Shocket even more excited, hearing him chuckle.
"I won't tell her, you know?" she replied saluting.
"Atta girl, a chip off the cybernetic block." Rocket replied.
He was then teaching her, having fun doing this, flying together as it made him imagine about the future chuckling which made Shocket smirk because he was always stuck in the vice-dean office, when this made him happy, deciding to ask Casey when they got home enjoying the breeze in her fur and mohawk sad hearing they had to stop, which Rocket agreed with, saying they would do more tomorrow seeing her smirk.
Casey wondered why her sis asked why dad couldn't teach flying students, he was pretty good making Shocket sigh remembering what she had promised her dad but that was to do with Lylla, telling her, impressing her that her sister had a roctet-pack or that their dad had found something he could do, besides yelling at students all day.
"Then let's help him out." she told Shocket.
