In the Hub Dome's underground lab, Minerva is giving a lecture to Voyagers operatives, including Finn, Jake, and Simon, about the new Voyadroid project with Odd Jobs standing on the stage with her. "They feature experimental artificial intelligence programs partly based on the MO Co. operating system, courtesy of our own BMO, and our recent human consciousness research." Minerva gestures to BMO, sitting close to the stage. "Make uncle BMO proud!" he cheered. "They are housed in standard Mark One Voyadroid bodies, and thus have the same strengths and weaknesses. A more advanced prototype is in development, the details of which are currently classified." Minerva continued when Bronwyn raises her hand. "Yes, Bronwyn?" Minerva said.

"Should we expect all Voyadroids to have their intelligence in the future? Every time I bring one on a mission, it's difficult to command." Bronwyn suggested. "Since this project already requires a large number of resources to maintain, I aim to create sixty Voyadroid Operative Units by the end of the year." Minerva answered when Jake raises his hand. "Could you put some restrictions on them? And when I mean them, I just mean Jerry. I think he glued flypaper on my seat." Jake asked as Jerry chuckled, leading him to be elbowed by Larry beside him. "I'm working on it." Minerva responded. "As part of their machine learning training, six teams will bring each one on a mission for the next month until the next batch is developed. I will announce which mission will bring which Voyadroid later today." Minerva explained.

"Meeting adjourned." she announces, to which everyone stands up, with the exception of Jake; still stuck to his seat. Finn and Simon pull him off, leading to his butt fur being stuck to the flypaper on the seat. "Ha-ha! C'mon, that's a good one, ain't it?" Jerry chuckled as he approaches them. "I'm impressed, you used the clear kinda flypaper for the smart flies." Jake responded. "I'm just glad it's not me. This is my good suit." Simon commented.

"Jerry, you need to behave during missions. You're Voyadroid Number One, which means you're supposed to be leader of your squad." Finn advised Jerry. "Yeah, I know, but it wouldn't hurt to have some fun once in a while." Jerry said before Larry taps him on the shoulder. "We gotta go dance. It's Mary's turn to pick the music." Larry told Jerry. "Gotta stretch these motors. I'll see you guys later, hope I'm on your team next mission!" Jerry told Finn and Jake as he walks away with his team. "How long will it take to put him into leader shape?" Jake wondered.

"Hopefully within the century." Finn responded. "It'll be weird to have a Terminator shadowing us every mission." Simon said. "Dun-dun dun dun-dun! Did someone say Terminator?" Alvin, still inhabiting a skeletal android body, announces himself as he prances into the room with Theodore. "Al, what are you doing here?" Simon asked. "I heard about these new droids and I wanted to check 'em out." Alvin answered.

"You just missed them. They're off to calibrate or somethin'." Jake answered. "Dang, I really wanted to see 'em. Did'ja know that they're based on research done on my digital self?" Alvin said. "You'll see them soon, but for now I think you should leave." Finn said. "Don't be a buzzkill, kid. C'mon Simon, let's get some-" Alvin said before his arms are grabbed by someone. He finds that he and Theodore are caught by Voyadroid Drones.

"This is a restricted area. We shall return you to the public floor." a Voyadroid spoke monotonously. "You'll have to stick with these guys for now." Simon said as Alvin and Theodore are escorted away. "Remember our jam session later!" Alvin exclaimed before leaving the room. "How does he keep on sneaking into places?" Jake wondered. "He's the kind to do that back in high school." Simon commented.

In a red void, a black sphere surging with red energy floats in the nothingness, when a massive green ship overshadows it. The vessel fires a grappling hook at it, clamping it as it drags it into the cargo hold. Lockdown steps before the sphere and grabs it with his hand. "We have the cube, now we have a sphere." Lockdown said as he holds up the sphere, along with a black cube with red markings and a glowing yellow cross. He slams both into each other, cracking them and unleashing red light that engulfs the entire room.

Back on Earth, Finn, Jake and Simon are standing before the spacebridge arch awaiting their assigned Voyadroid. "Please don't be Jerry… please don't be Jerry…" Jake prayed. "Hey guys!" Jerry screamed. They look to Jerry as he runs from the Hub Dome, waving to them. "Aaand I jinxed it." Jake groaned.

"Ready to go?" Finn asked Jerry. "Sure am, boss! Got my joints calibrated and my subroutines diagnosed." Jerry saluted. "Jerry, this is a real mission. No pranks, no one-liners, and no other funny stuff! That's my job, and I'm careful with it." Jake told Jerry. "I'll try, but no promises!" Jerry said. "Back to the mission. This'll be a routine scouting mission, hopefully to a new universe, and hopefully one I already know of." Simon explained.

The spacebridge fires up and they walk into the portal, where they suddenly find themselves in the middle of space. They hold their breath as they redden as their blood begins to boil, when Jerry puts helmets on each of them, deploys the same suits Jerry is wearing onto their bodies. "Thanks, Jerry. We would've been space debris if it weren't for you." Finn thanked Jerry. "Hey, my first mission win! Awesome!" Jerry celebrated as he holds up his hand, to which Finn high-fives. "Suffocating in space isn't the way I wanna die." Simon said.

"It's the way I was supposed to." Jake commented. "So… where do we go from here?" Finn wondered when an orange spaceship with forward-swept wings floats towards them. "You think they're friendly?" Jake wondered. "I think so. It looks familiar to me, but I can't remember where I've seen it." Simon said. Two men wearing futuristic white armour with glass head domes emerges from the ship and floats towards them.

One is a slim, young Caucasian man with brown hair and green eyes, and the other is a taller, muscular Caucasian man with black hair, a cross-shaped scar on his chin, and bags under his eyes. "*GASP* It's him." Simon said in awe at the sight of the green-eyed man. "Hey fellas, what're you doing out here? Where's your ship?" the slim man asked. "We're kinda stranded. Mind if we hitchhike?" Finn asked the man. "Last time we had a hitchhiker, they were nothing but trouble." the taller man commented.

"Relax, Kevin. They don't look like trouble. Just a kid, a… dog, some guy, and… who are you? You've got your radiation visor up, if that is one." the slim man assured. "I'm a robot." Jerry responded. "A robot… just like the last hitchhiker." Kevin said as he crosses his arms. "Chill, Kev. Don't worry, we'll give you a ride. I'm Ben, like Ben 10 in case you don't know." the slim man introduces himself. "Name's Finn." "I'm Jake." "My name is Simon Petrikov. It's an honour to meet you, Ben Tennyson." they all introduced themselves.

"Grab on. We'll take you inside." Ben said. They grab Ben and Kevin's hands as they jet towards an airlock. They enter the ship, with blue walls and technology lined with green lights. Awaiting them is a young Caucasian woman with short ginger hair wearing blue glasses, a light blue cat T-shirt, and a blue skirt. "More hitchhikers? Remember the Techadon Infiltrator we let inside last week?" the woman asked.

"Don't worry, Gwen. I have a good feeling about them. But yeah, one of them is a robot." Ben said. "So, what were you guys doing out there?" Kevin asked the adventurers. "We're adventurers. We're looking for new worlds to explore." Finn answered. "That's what we're doing too! We're on a road trip, but the road is space, so it's a space trip." Ben said. "Does a road even need to be solid? Space has ship roads, right?" Jerry commented.

"They do, but we're not on one." Kevin said. "Is this your crew, Ben?" Finn asked Ben. "This is Gwen, she's my cousin. She came along after graduating from Friedkin." Ben introduces Gwen. "This is Kevin. He's one of my best friends, and one of my few friends who tried to kill me in the past." Ben introduces Kevin. "And there's me: Ben 10! Saviour of the universe and beyond, but you probably already know about that." Ben proudly introduces himself.

"I've never heard of you before." Finn said. "Me neither." Jake added. "I don't know anything. I was born a couple months ago." Jerry said. "What? I'm big news all over the universe and Earth!" Ben said in surprise. "I know all about you, Ben Tennyson! You've fought off invasions from Vilgax, Highbreed, Ectonurites, and more!" Simon said excitedly.

"At least one of you knows me." Ben said with a smile. "Let's go to the bridge. We have one more person on this ship." Kevin said. They take the adventurers to the bridge where a white feline alien wearing blue armour sits at the pilot's chair. "Welcome back, Ben and Kevin. Who did you pick up?" the pilot asked with an enthusiastic, yet stiff tone. "We're adventurers. We're looking for… anything really." Finn said.

"My name is Rook Blonko, I am a Plumber recruit and pilot of the Rust Bucket Three." Rook introduces himself. "By the way, how'd you end up floating in space?" Kevin asked them. "We got here on accident from a… portal mishap. Random coordinates, and all that." Jake explained. "Our next stop's at Khoros. It's not exactly a prime adventuring venue." Kevin said as he takes off his spacesuit, revealing ripped jeans and a ragged T-shirt over a striped grey inner shirt. "What's wrong with Khoros?" Finn asked.

"It's one of the most dangerous planets in the universe, home to the Tetramands; a race of muscular four-armed aliens." Gwen answered. "Knowing that place, it's nothing Finn and Jake can't handle. Not me, I prefer cooler environments." Simon commented. "I prefer if we do not get into trouble. While we are on friendly terms with Red Wind Kingdom, the people are easily angered." Rook advised. The Rust Bucket III swoops towards a red planet, soon entering its atmosphere. The adventurers talk some distance away from Ben's crew to discuss the young man.

"Is he another cartoon character you know?" Finn asked Simon. "One of my favourites. Before Regular Show, Gumball, and Bravest Warriors, I watched Ben 10 all the time! He's a kid who can transform into superpowered aliens with the Omnitrix; an advanced alien watch created by Azmuth of the Galvan race." Simon explained. "Do you know what's going on now?" Jake asked. "I assume this is after Omniverse. In the finale, Ben mentioned going on a space road trip, but the series never followed on that and instead went with a reboot." Simon explained. "I'm sensing a pattern in the universes you've visited. They're all cartoons on the same T.V. network. Isn't that a bit, sus, as I've heard from that Randall guy?" Jerry said.

They land on the planet far outside a sandstone fortress populated by muscular, red aliens with four limbs and four orange eyes. "Rook, stay here with our guests. We'll be back with fuel for the ship." Ben told Rook as he removes his spacesuit, revealing casual brown cargo pants and black shirt with green stripes and a "10" on the chest. Ben, Kevin, and Gwen exit through the cargo ramp, leaving the adventurers with Rook. They walk towards the fortress and are greeted by guards when the wall next to them explodes into flame. "Battle stations! We're under attack!" a Tetramand guard exclaimed.
